We loved our stay here for a hen weekend. The house was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend in Bath. The location couldn’t have been better; a quick walk into town and we were even able to walk back from a trip to Prior Park. The hosts were so friendly and really proactive in asking whether we had any questions ahead of our stay. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Excellent value for such a central location and such a big property. House had a lot of character and was ideal for a girl’s weekend away. The host was incredibly responsive and made us feel really welcome. We paid for the extra bed meaning there were 11 guests - of course with less guests you would have more space, but it was plenty big enough for our group and we were able to cook and spend one of the evenings in very comfortably. We were minutes away from places to eat and drink, and the close proximity to long stay car parks and the train station made it easy for everyone to get to.

Lovely town house apt for 10 of us. We had a good stay in Bath and would love to visit again. There were a few issues that arose with the property but owners very response to rectify this to make our stay pleasant by sending Handy man out ASAP.

Fantastically located and characterful property. Minutes from all the famous sites in Bath yet surprisingly quiet as it is down a cul de sac. Check-in was easy and communication was good. Inside the house is very characterful but a little tired. Beds very comfortable but, as advertised, the hot water system is a little tricky. The appliances and cookware are not in good condition, and the fridge is far too small for a property that can sleep 10, despite space for a bigger one, and the freezer door did not close properly. We ended up buying a new frying pan as the ones provided were too scratched, and there were no wash clothes or sponges for cleaning.

A great stay for our group of five in a great place and great location, right at the city centre, but still quiet, and 5 Minutes from the rail station. The house has style and made us feel at home. The kitchen is well equipped and most beds were perceived as comfortable. There are two living rooms which was an unexpected nice extra. There are also a lot of stairs to connect five floors. Heating worked well. There is also a Morrisons just minutes away, so life was easy without a car. I would definitely come again in a group of up to 10 people. The price for an entire week is cheaper than the price for six days. And I think from 8 people or above, it is a good deal. With five, as we were, it was a bit pricey, but we needed at least four bedrooms (this house has five and two full bathrooms and one toilet downstairs), so this was the only option left in Bath for our needs.

the accommodation was lovely, characterful and central. the cleaner was very helpful allowing us to drop bags off early . the stairs were very steep and there were 5 floors. top bedroom was tiny with small double bed and no storage . the fridge freezer was very small for 10 on a weekend trip and the freezer pretty iced up. we had an extra foldable bed in one of the lounges to make 11 in total the charm and central position of the accommodation was a real bonus and of course Bath is fabulous

We stayed here for my partner's 30th birthday weekend and had THE BEST time! The property team were so helpful and lovely in pulling off this big surprise and I am so grateful. The house is incredible and immaculate. I cannot recommend it enough. It feels like you're living inside a Jane Austen novel. 100% would stay here again.

Great space for seven of us and the location is perfect for most things in Bath. It's all on your doorstep. The house was warm and cosy. It lacked a few bits but with the shops right there it wasn't a problem. The hosts were easy to message. Overall if we came to Bath again we'd probably stay here.

We had a wonderful stay in Bath to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. The house is in an ideal location for exploring all the city has to offer, and we loved the charming, traditional interior and the comfortable beds. A few things to keep in mind: the water pressure can be low, which makes it challenging for multiple guests to shower at the same time—something to consider for a house that accommodates 10 people. The fridge/freezer is also a bit small for a larger group and there is no wardrobe space in 3 of the 5 bedrooms. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Airbnb for its great location and cozy atmosphere. Bath is such a beautiful place, and this home made our visit memorable.

Fantastic property in superb location. Couple of minutes walk into the centre of Bath and just round the corner from M&S, Sainsbury’s local and Tesco express. The house is bursting with character and had plenty of space for our party of 9 people. We found it to be extremely clean, tidy and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the supply of coffee pods and teabags were most welcome. The property has no parking however you are able to pull up right outside to unload and load your car. We found that the car parks recommended in the welcome information were a lot more expensive than quoted, so do think that information needs to be updated for any future guests. We loved the accommodation and would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in central Bath.

A lovely historic house in the middle of Bath… It was our base for the weekend of our sons wedding… The house itself is as listed, however we did discover lots of maintenance issues… the dishwasher was poorly fitted, and so fell forward every time we loaded it… A few lamps didn’t work around the house, and plugs missing from baths.. Also not enough wine glasses for number of people. Fridge freezer also tiny for size of house. We were grateful to be allowed into the property a little earlier, and when we discovered that there wasn’t a travel cot as listed , it was delivered promptly. There was no manual in the house with info on how to work appliances or where to put rubbish.. Also it would have been helpful to have had a few basics such dishwasher tablets .. All in all a lovely old house in a great central location in need of some TLC.

We were a group of 9 & stayed at Founders House for the long Easter weekend. The house is centrally located in Bath within easy reach of all main attractions & tourist highlights, eg: 5 minutes walk to the Roman Baths & Thermae Spa. The host was very accommodating & allowed us to drop off our luggage a few hours before the check in time & also was flexible on the morning of our checkout. All questions were answered quickly & very helpfully. The house was very clean & had all amenities needed, WiFi, dishwasher, etc. We would highly recommend the host & property.

Founder’s House was easy to find, and we received clear directions for arrival. The house itself was very comfortable for a historic property, though the advertised dryer did not exist and the toilet off the kitchen stopped working properly several times. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well-appointed (except for an smaller-than-standard fridge, which seemed odd for a house that sleeps ten people). We appreciated the wonderful location—just a few minutes walk away from most of Bath’s best-known sights and several restaurants and supermarkets. Unfortunately, there were no checkout instructions and when we inquired as to checkout protocol, our message went unanswered. Otherwise, the stay itself was pleasant and we enjoyed the surrounding city very much.

An amazing place in a perfect location if you have a large group (6-8 people is ideal). We were there for the Jane Austen Festival and it was perfect, but sadly hotter than we had hoped so we kept the windows open constantly. Best time to go is when it’s cooler if you can. The house is lovely with so much character having been built around 1744! If you are a light sleeper, there can be a significant amount of noise late at night because it’s very near a backpacking hostel and across from a hotel with early morning deliveries. But shouldn’t be a problem if the windows are closed in cooler weather. And there are a lot of stairs (typical for that time period) so just be sure everyone in your party is okay with that. We counted 68 stairs from the entry level to the 2 very top bedrooms. Good exercise!

Quirky House very Retro, lovely Kitchen Diner. Fabulous location, plenty of space, small storage spaces for clothes. Had a few issues with the property, which unfortunately were not addressed while we were there. They have assured me these will be dealt with before it is rented out again. I hope they do as they were potential trip hazards. Friendly and helpful host/keyholder. There is no outside space, it looks like it does, but is just for an escape route in case of fire. The house is fascinating. Ideal for city break as near centre, and short distance from train and bus station.

A group of 8 friends stayed here for 4 nights where we celebrated a friends 60th & a future wedding. The location is out of this world ! Everything is in walking distance. Wonderful restaurants, fantastic shops. We loved the Roman Baths, We did 2 bus tours & a river boat ride with Pimms. The host was amazing & responded & sorted out a couple of issues we had straight away. Would highly recommend here & you certainly get your step count in given it’s a a Town House & 68 steps to the top floor bedrooms. It was very noisy outside being near to a pub & deliveries / collections etc but it’s worth the noise as the very communal house & location really takes some beating. We had a fabulous time & made many memories. Would certainly recommend this wonderful house called Founders House ❤️

Thank you for a great stay. The location was excellent. Everything felt like it was on the doorstep and very convenient. Check-in was easy, and we thought the place looked nicer than the photos. The kitchen-diner is a great area to hang out in, and the living room is cosy and relaxing. There are plenty of bathrooms, the beds are comfy and everything was clean . I would definitely book again if we visited Bath in the future.

Excellent location, Fresh flowers when arrived, Clean. But we had to wait to check in & was quite inconvenient, One of our toilets didn’t work the whole time we stayed Thurs-Sun & there was 8 people staying & we were promised a workmen to fix it which never happened, No toilet door on the on suite bathroom & toilet seat didn’t fit, The cellar is just used to store rubbish & looked horrible & scary & needed blinds to cover it up in the kitchen so you couldn’t see it, Couldn’t ope the back door & would if been nice to sit in the court yard if it was cleaned up, The shower pressure is poor in the top room, Very noisy old beds in some rooms, Not enough toilet roll for duration of stay.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here as a family of 8. The house was in a brilliant location, very central in the heart of Bath. The house was beautiful, with 2 small double bedrooms on the 3rd floor, 1 spacious twin bed & 2 bathrooms on the 2nd floor & another 2 no. spacious twin beds (1 ensuite) on the first floor. We stayed in the smallest double bedroom and although it was was very small, the bed was comfy and the room cosy & sweet. The living room and the dining area were great to chill out in. There was a lovely bunch of flowers in the kitchen and milk, tea and coffee were provided which was thoughtful & handy. Nights are mostly peaceful for a central location with occasional noise from passing revellers and the buzz from a generator nearby. I had earplugs so slept well but light sleepers might need earplugs. We could only shower one at a time as the water pressure was so low but apart from that we spent 3 lovely nights here. I would definitely recommend this place!

The situation of the house is amazing, we could walk to the shops, the restaurants, the thermal spa. There were 9 of us so we allocated bedrooms according to age as there are a lot of stairs so we all came home with the added bonus of increased steps and fitness. It was the best choice for a fabulous weekend in Bath,

We had a marvellous stay at Founders House. The location was superb, with M&S on the corner for those little last minute aperos! We enjoyed the spa and a 10km hike upto the Bathampton golf course and back, along the canal. Would definitely recommend.

Pur family loved this house! Spacious, thoughtful touches (games, books, Christmas tree). Very and generous host( bottle of bubbles, juice, milk in the fridge). Great communication! We were very close to everything. 5 min walk to Roman baths and Pump Room. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home in handily-central location. Very homely and cosy inside with lots of space to spread out. Gorgeous fresh flowers in kitchen with small vases for the bedrooms, which was a great touch. Lounge is a lovely place to hang out, as was kitchen. We had issues with the water boiler, so could only shower separately and inconsistently - the plumber was responsive, mending one shower, but it needs an overhaul. Despite this, the house was reasonably warm in freezing weather and the heating was generously on at night. The fire in the lounge toasted us up, too. Nights were largely peaceful for a central location, but light sleepers will need earplugs for the buzz from generator/extractor fan at back of adjacent hotel. There are also only two keys for the house, which meant we were constantly jiggling them as a large group, but it’s central enough to nip back to let people in.

We would definitely stay here again when we visit Bath next, and the Manvers St car park was 2 mins away by foot and cost £34 for 48hr stay. Everything was just so convenient!

A wonderful place in the best of locations. Very comfy beds, great communication, some bubbly on our arrival! Great collection of board games, fantastic restaurants etc nearby, and plenty to entertain teenage kids nearby too - escape rooms, mini golf and some fantastic magic shows at The Ale House. Loved this place. Tips: Long stay parking available nearby in Manvers car park. It can be noisy at times, but then its a city centre with LOADS of VERY loud seagulls ... take earplugs!

We had a lovely 2 nights (Fri-Sun) stay at the Founders House in Bath in early August. The house is huge - 5 real bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 gigantic kitchen/dining. Lovely style of the house. Really felt like the house of the founders of Bath. We were 6 adults and 3 children that had a very comfortable stay. We'd rate the place 5/5 for the incredible location. Seconds away from the action in Bath. The hosts and housekeeper were friendly and helpful. Lots of great memories. We did have some small issues (some coordination required for check-in, hot water issues on day 2 and an onerous looking insurance form). But these were minor compared the great experience we had. The place is a bit pricey, but was worth it for us.

The house is beautiful and spacious and elegantly appointed. You feel further immersed in history here. The location was particularly convenient given we had only a couple of days to explore this wonderful city. We ate out a bit, but the kitchen was equipped for all our needs and M&S was a block away for groceries. Showers had great water pressure. Big bathtubs, hand soap, shampoo and body wash all provided. Roman Baths, the Abbey, the River Avon within steps. We walked to The Crescent and Victoria Park. Just not enough time to discover all the city has to offer so we will be back. The one issue we had, which is out of the owners' control, was the noise from the late-night revelers leaving a nightclub around the corner. Our kids all slept through the noise, but it did disturb the adults. Our stay was Thursday to Sunday and happened to be during university graduation so this may have been even more than is usual, but we would recommend ear plugs. Overall an excellent stay and would happily return.

Founders House is in the perfect location for a weekend trip away. We were walking distance from the train station, baths, shops, bars and restaurants. When we arrived the house was stocked with all the necessary items we needed. Shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, teas, coffee, milk and even a bottle of Prosecco! It had everything we needed. The kitchen/dining room was the perfect size to socialise in. The only fault we found was that the door to the garden was locked and could only be opened for emergency’s. This door was the only fresh air we could get into the kitchen as the windows opened into the cave and didn’t help when the smoke alarms went off. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. If we were returning to Bath again we would happily stay im Founders House again!

Had such a lovely time here over the weekend! Everything was well stocked and rooms were clean. The location was very ideal as it's very central - the only annoying part was parking but there were few spots where we can pay to park and walk back (~2 mins). It was very easy to communicate with Mary the housekeeper. Also, there were cute signs around the house that made us smile so thank you for that! :)

Founders House is simply stunning. It has everything you need for a large family gathering, it’s very spacious and the kitchen and dining area is the focal point of the house - perfect for a family meal. The house is immaculate from top to bottom, very comfortable beds with crisp, white bed linen and a number of large bathrooms. It’s full of charm and you are literally in the centre of everything that Bath has to offer. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever! Would highly recommend and we will be back!

This house is so lovely. It’s right in the heart of the beautiful city . Mary who meet us to let us in, was very friendly and told us what we needed to know. It’s a great place for spending time with your family and friends. It’s comfortable, the kitchen is so lovely to socialise and have meals in. We had such a lovely stay, we were all in much need of a family get together and have some time to relax before the Christmas mayhem. The house ticked all the boxes.

We had a great three day break in this stylish Georgian townhouse. The location is fantastic nestled on generally a quiet street only a few minutes walk from the Abbey and Roman Baths. We found the house clean, well equipped and comfortable. Keep an eye out for traffic wardens when you pull up to load the car at the end of your stay as they’re keen to give out tickets. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did, Mary the housekeeper is very helpful too.

The house is lovely, clean, decorated nicely inside. It’s only a few mins walk from the train station and good car parks are round the corner. The best thing is how near the house is to the shops, restaurants, parks etc. It was easy to get around. And there are food shops near by two. The bedrooms are small but lovely and comfortable. The sitting room and kitchen great places to hang out with friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

Bath is a beautiful Georgian city, so what better than staying in a beautiful Georgian house right in the middle. Founders House is a homely play to stay, from which you can walk to all the wonderful sights in Bath. Mary, the housekeeper, is always on hand to help if you have any questions. We loved our stay here. We were a group of 10 (5 couples) returning to Bath for a reunion. The house is amazingly located - very much in the centre. Those of us who drove parked in Manvers street car park with no issues. The house is well equipped with crockery/ glassware / cooking equipment and good amount of space for us all. We’d definitely recommend a stay and are already thinking of a return trip!

Wow what an amazing house , we had a Wedding to go to and the house was big enough to fit our extended family. Soo close to mainline station and 2-3 min walk to high street and restaurants so perfect for us. The house is in a fab location, smack bang in the centre with plenty to do just around the corner. Loved that there were condiments available, tea, coffee and milk supplied by the host! Stayed here for a girly weekend before I get married next month. The location is incredible. So close to the station, the baths, the spa and all the bars and restaurants. The place looks just like the photos if not better. Was perfect for a large group of adults. Getting the keys was quick and easy. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Very comfy beds and 2 pillows each. Would 100% recommend!! The only small thing we didn’t anticipate was the noise level. It is on a ‘quiet road’ but it was not very quiet. Glass bottles being recycled at early hours and delivery trucks every morning beeping. And being in the centre, lots of hen and stag parties going by. If booking on a weekend and with kids it is something to think about. A few guests did get a disturbed sleep.

We absolutely loved staying at The Founders House. It is stunningly decorated, full of character, very comfortable and brilliantly situated for the exploring Bath. It also has a fascinating history. All communications were excellent and Kerrie kindly let us check in early as we were there for a family wedding. When we arrived we were met by the housekeeper who responded to all our texts immediately and was exceptionally helpful. We hugely appreciated the bottle of bubbly and beautiful flowers that welcomed us. All in all it was a wonderful weekend and everyone in our party loved staying in the house - we just wished we could stay longer as there is so much to do and see in Bath.

The Founders House is a perfectly located classic Bath townhouse, minutes walk away from the shops and restaurants of the city centre. Inside, it has bags of character, and is extremely comfortable and quiet. The thoughtfully designed bedrooms are hotel-like, with lovely linen and thoughtful touches. The kitchen is well equipped, with a large table and an aga. I went with a group of eight other ladies, and we had plenty of space and a really lovely stay - our second time visiting the Founders House. Thanks Kerrie and David.

We had a few issues with the heating (it didn’t work) but a text later and Mary the cleaner came round and lit the aga and the fire in the front room so we weren’t cold. Not so easy to accommodate a family of eight with high expectations but this house is superb and very well equipped. Location can't be better: you drop your car at the nearby parking and can then walk anywhere. Check-in and cleanliness were perfect. Everything ready when we arrived. Very pleasant house on a cul-de-sac street! Clean, nicely decorated, 5 floors. More than enough bathrooms. Pleasant kitchen also. We stayed here with 5 Adults and 2 kids. Downtown is within walking distance. Like several supermarkets, the Waitrose is an extensive and luxurious supermarket within a 12-minute walk. Parking is 5 min walk (12.50 GBP per 24 hours). A 16-minute walk away is a long stay (Charlotte street) at £8.50 per 24 hours. Highly recommended. Contact with residents is pleasant and fast. The housekeeper lives 2 doors further and is therefore also accessible for if there is "something".

This is the ideal place to stay during a visit to Bath. There are a couple of car parks on the same postcode costing £12 / 14 for 24 hours, within a few minutes walk of the property. We were met promptly and shown around, then left to enjoy a cuppa before heading out to explore. Founder's House is literally a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral so all the sights are close at hand. The property is quite charming so you feel immediately immersed in Georgian Bath. For those that wish to self cater the kitchen, in the basement, is very well equipped and cosy with an Arga as well as a conventional cooker. You are however spoilt for choice with eateries and I would recommend Sotto Sotto, an Italian restaurant a few minutes walk way. The two separate bathrooms and one ensuite shower room worked just fine for our group of ladies and there was plenty of hot water. We also appreciated the bottle of prosecco left to welcome us by our hosts. I would recommend the Mayor's Honorary Guides Free 2 hour walking tour (10.30 am and 2pm) from outside the Pump House. Very informative and helps you get your bearings. If visiting Bath in the future we would most definitely try to stay here again. Thank you

Great kitchen with a large dining room table for sociable dinners and a very cosy lounge. The Founders House is a lovely large period house with plenty of space for a large group. It is very well presented with lots of period features and furniture and comfy sofas around the fire. The kitchen/diner is well stocked with everything you need to cook in, with ample utensils, crockery, cutlery etc etc. The house is perfectly placed right in the centre of town and within easy walking distance of all the attractions. Pity there is no parking outside but we didn't have any problems with wardens unloading and loading up. All in all a very nice place to stay.

The house was a real treat, really beautifully done up, an aspirational property in an excellent central location. Lovely touch of a bottle of bubbly on arrival which was appreciated. All amenities you could need and easily sleeps 8. Only slight issue was that it is an old property in a central location so the noise insulation wasn't great but otherwise an excellent property.

If you have a large group then this is the best place to stay in Bath. The location could not be better, we walked to everything in Bath that we wanted to see, the furthermost sight being a ten minute walk (The Royal Crescent). If anyone in your group has issues getting up and down stairs this isn't the place for you. Staying in a home with so much history is fantastic and helps you enjoy the Georgian architecture even more. Mary was very responsive as well. I would stay here again.

We loved staying at this stunnng house. It is so stylish and walking around in our Jane Austen promenade costumes we felt like we had travelled back two hundred years! The decor, furniture and original features are all beautiful and the beds really comfortable. The location is superb - a couple of minutes walk from the Abbey but down a quiet little cobbled lane. There was even Prosecco and roses to welcome us! It was the "coolest hen weekend ever" as the youngest hen said. We all want to come back next year and go to a Regency ball this time.

Yes, the price is high, but the place is clean and ideally situated around the corner from the Roman Baths and the Manvers Car Park. We were greeted by a property manager and he explained the home. Kerrie and David are fantastically responsive and they even included a Guidebook on their home. Because of the central location, you may hear some revelry at night, but it is a city so you expect such things--it was only after the pubs close, so it was NOT all night. The washer and dryer were a big plus and so was the dishwasher. Wifi was strong, showers hot, area safe, refrigerator cold, and rooms clean. This is not someone's home so you don't find yourself among someone's personal items, and even though this (probably) is commmercial property, it is not decorated with yard sale leftovers. Kerrie and David make the place hospitable and even left us with a bottle of prosecco. You can walk everywhere and save money by eating in--there's an M&S about 50 yards away, but it closes fairly early--with pots, pans, dishes, and silverware aplenty. Anyway, thanks to our hosts and two thumbs up!

This is THE place to book in Bath. The house itself is wonderful. There were six of us (aged 11-70) and we spread out over the 5 floors quite comfortably. It was wonderful to have a kitchen as well as a washer and dryer to use. Also very nice to have a living room with a DVD player and a number of movies to choose from. In addition to the house itself, the location is PERFECT. I highly recommend this house.

Everything we could have wanted was just a ridiculously short walk away from the house; the shops, train station, restaurants, the river, the Roman Baths, the Abbey, the park at Parade gardens (small fee required) and the large M&S just round the corner meant you didn't need to go anywhere if you didn't want to. The decor in the house is fantastic, a really classic feel to the place, straight out of Georgian England. The house is well equipped with everything we needed, we felt very fortunate to have the use of it. Mary the housekeeper was excellent, very easy straightforward communication by text message to collect the keys and check anything while we were there. Parking directly outside the front door to unpack/repack the car was no issue. Manvers St car park just round the corner was extremely convenient and we dumped the car there for the whole time we stayed there during the week. Parking cost was very fair value for the location at £12 per day for the 8am-8pm metered time. There's no need to return every day, you can just keep pressing the 'up' button and see the expiry date/time on the parking meter change until it covers your whole stay on the same ticket. Don't make the mistake I did at first of using the 'pay via text message' system; the automated phone call didn't come through for an hour during which time I got a parking fine (which i'll be contesting). A lovely stay and would definitely look to return if we were staying in Bath again. Thanks very much Kerrie & David!

Staying in this lovely, central, historic home was really a treat. Checking in and out were simple and easy. The bedrooms are well appointed and charming and the living areas cozy yet spacious, with plenty of games and DVDs to keep our entire group (spanning three generations) thoroughly entertained. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, with the aga cooker instantly imparting a snug, homely atmosphere. Fantastic restaurants are literally a few minutes' walk away (we particularly recommend the Thai place, as well as the wood-fired pizzeria). An easy walk to tourist attractions, grocery stores, shops, the train station, the Roman Baths, not to mention a fascinating glass blowing studio. Finally, we enjoyed reading in the owners' helpful guide a little bit about the history of the house itself.

Founders House was the perfect location for our party of 3 couples and 2 singles. It is close to transport and shopping but situated in a quiet cobbled street. The house is full of character and had all the amenities required for a comfortable weekend. We will certainly recommend it to our family and friends and would not hesitate to book again if visiting Bath.

We came on a hen party weekend and stayed in this GORGEOUS house. We were met promptly by Clive (Mary, the housekeeper was unavailable so her husband came along), on time and he was so polite and friendly! Showed us everything we needed to know and made sure we had time to ask any questions before he left us to it. Perfectly situated, the basement kitchen is perfect for cooking and drinking and socialising with a party. The whole house is finished beautifully and was utterly spotless! We couldn't have asked for more, we were attended to and responded to so quickly and efficiently. Absolutely perfect experience.

The house is in such a central busy location making everything easy about a trip to Bath but was lovely and quiet just tucked away around a corner. No ouside space but for a city location and near to the park and river doesn't matter. Parking very close but the cost needs to be factored in if staying more than a couple of days I would guess. Would wholly recommend and wouldn't bother looking for anywhere else if we return to Bath in the future. Perfect

Great townhouse for a girls weekend, right in the centre of Bath close to shops, sights and pubs! Very comfortable beautifully decorated house. Lots of steps so not for small children but good to work off the meals out and wine!! Location is everything with this house 5 mins walk from the train station and the bottle of prosecco on arrival was very welcome and got our girls weekend off to a good start!

7 girlfriends stayed in this fantastic house in the centre of Bath. We had a great time shopping the Bath Christmas market. This house is in a great location being in the centre of Bath, its so easy to access the shopping area, museums and the wonderful Bath Abbey. The house is nicely furnished and comfortable. It is also just a couple of minutes walk to Southgate underground car park where we parked our car. A great place to stay. Thank you.

This is a beautiful house and was perfect for our girly get together. It has great communal areas, the best being the kitchen diner which is perfect for lazy breakfast chilling and pre going out drinks.... The bedrooms are all really good sizes with lovely period features and super stylish large mirrors! We took our 7 week old baby girl and she loved her changing station in the master bedroom bathroom! Probably the best thing about the house is its superb central location which is a 2 minute walk to where all the action is! Thank you Kerrie and David for a great stay and easy clear communication before arrival.

We had excellent communication from the hosts leading up to our stay who were willing to answer any question we had. When we arrived we were met by Mary who showed us around the house and nothing was too much trouble. Little touches such as a bottle of Prosecco and milk in the fridge were perfect after a weary journey. Location was outstanding and so close to everything we needed. House was lovely, plenty of space for us all and it was all nice and clean.

Our stay at the Founders House was fantastic! The house is extremely central and easy to find from the station. The housekeeper Mary greeted me on arrival and showed me round, and there was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us too! The bathrooms were spacious, clean and had good water pressure. I will definitely recommend this venue for future stays in Bath!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable historic house with a great location (quiet side street, Bath Abbey and Roman Baths right around the corner). Simon, our housekeeper, and Kerrie, our host, were accommodating to an early check-in and communication beforehand was quick and detailed. The lowest level (kitchen) was updated and featured a washer, dryer and dishwasher; nice area for a group to socialize around a large table with many chairs. Extensive selection of books, DVDs and board games were available in the library. Highly recommended for a group of 5-8.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at 4 Pierrepont Place when we stayed for a couple of nights for my son's graduation from Bath uni. Is completely central- just a cpl of mins from the Abbey - but felt so spacious with high ceilings and lovely tasteful decor and furnishings. We felt smitten with the property as we arrived. Was so reassuring to be provided with the housekeepers number in advance do that we Cld arrange an arrival time. The housekeeper Mary was there as agreed and vey welcoming and explained all we needed. There are 3 sets of keys which was really useful. There are plenty of bathrooms and loos and a wonderfully large kitchen and dining table at basement level. The handy M&S just a few steps away was brilliant to simplify all. Worked beautifully for us and was the icing on the cake for us to enjoy the graduation. Many, many thanks.

We had a wonderful stay in Founders house, The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean. it had everything for a home away from home !! Mary, met us on arrival, and provided tea ,coffee, milk. the house is very centrally located for all that Bath has to offer. Parked in Manvers Street which is a two minute walk. Although built in the 18th century, it had all the modern amenities one could ask for. Kerrie even provided a travel cot, high chair and the like me for our little one. Founders House is in a perfect location to explore the city of Bath by foot. The property is very comfortable, well equipped and was the perfect set up for our two family stay. Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths are a stones throw away, yet the mews street on which the property is located is not a busy thoroughfare. An M&S Food is just around the corner!
