Wonderful stay with our extended family. Plenty of rooms and space to relax together and yet be able to retreat as well. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, quiet, outdoor seating with and beautiful views. Five min drive to free parking and 4 pound return bus into Bath. Hiking from house. Road to house typical narrow English country lanes and best accessed by car due to steep hills. We stayed during the summer heatwave but the house is well insulated, and the evening breeze cooled rooms nicely. We didn’t need fans. Hosts were very friendly, helpful & extremely responsive. I would absolutely recommend staying!

We had a fantastic stay at The Ridge Bath. There were eight of us and the house accommodated everyone comfortably, with plenty of space to relax together and all the creature comforts you’d hope for in a group stay. The standout feature is definitely the view - absolutely stunning and even better in person, especially from the main living areas. The underfloor heating throughout was a real luxury and kept the whole house beautifully warm (no need to pack slippers!). A few pieces of furniture weren’t quite as pictured and showed a bit of wear, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. All in all, a great choice for a family getaway - Bath is simply divine! We would happily return.

This was honestly the best Airbnb I have ever visited. The kitchen was so well stocked with anything you need to cook with. The views were incredible!!!’ It was super clean and smelled really great. If I owned this place I would live there it is lush! And only 10 minutes to the city centre by cab and that was on a busy Saturday lunchtime! Large 6 bedroom property overlooking Bath so perfect for a large gathering. Location faultless, size perfect, layout fantastic and plenty of crockery/cutlery etc. If we were to have any constructive thoughts, one would be the garden could do with a little TLC (grass needs a cut and lots of nettles and weeds outside bedroom window) and main door to living space from garden doesn't seem to lock? but that would be us being picky...

We had a brilliant stay at The Ridge, even with 9 people and 4 dogs, the place felt spacious yet very cosy in the long January evenings. The place is very well appointed, and all the fixtures and fittings are top quality. The Ridge is perfectly situated for visiting Bath and the surrounding area (we did many dog walks atop Lansdown hill) but it is also perfect to just stay and chill with incredible views over the city. Mary was a brilliant host, quick to respond to questions and very welcoming. We would absolutely stay again!

Very glad we have found this place to mark memories for our reunion with our good friends. We’ve both travelled a long way and has been lovely to have The Ridge kept us warm and cosy! It’s a beautiful home with lots of space for the little kiddies to run around. Plenty of bedrooms for a big family get together. Will miss the lovely views day and night. Kitchen was fully equipped, we were able to eat in one night for a little home cooked dinner which was lovely. Couldn’t fault it, it was absolutely perfect and we’re looking forward to coming back next year hopefully! Thank you to Clive for being a gem!

A beautiful property, perfect for big groups. The house contained everything that was required and the view was absolutely incredible! The location is also perfect so that you feel like you are far enough into the country but also that you are close enough to head into the city centre. There are a few places in the house which are starting to look a little tired so a small refresh of some of the spaces would be a good idea! For example, many visibly filled holes that hadn’t been painted over, chipped mirrors, door handles that didn’t work properly etc. However, these points were very minor and didn’t take away from the overall feel of the House. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic stay here! Private location with a view over Bath. 10 minute drive into the centre with lots of taxi options. The Airbnb was clean, spacious and very well kitted out. All bedrooms and bathroom were well presented nicely and the bed were comfortable. The Airbnb was perfect for the 9 of us and would happily stay there again!

We stayed at the Ridge for three nights, there were six adults and seven children aged 1-9years. The property is beautifully located .. stunning views and peaceful. The property was nearly as described .. we booked in part due to there being a playroom, however on our arrival the playroom had been removed and changed into another bedroom. We hadn’t been informed of this, however, this didn’t really affect our stay as plenty of room for the children to play. We found the home clean and tidy, however several spiders/cob webs around the property. Perhaps overlooked. The garden was nice and allowed for relaxing when the weather was on our side. Only downfall to outside is the amount of weeds and nettles, several of the children were stung by nettles, again not affecting the holiday but perhaps outside needs a tidy up for future reference. All in all a beautiful place to stay, easy check in. Good communication. Thank you

The house is beautiful with an amazing view and surroundings. The instructions for entry and exit on the listing did not match what actually happened. Also it would be helpful to have all waivers and fees listed on the listing and not have to do extra clearance and fees after booking with Airbnb.

We had a lovely girls weekend away. Everything you need is there, it is very well stocked. Housekeeper was fantastic, so friendly and available to contact should we need anything. Beautiful property and very spacious. We were slightly disappointed by the external aspect of the property, it was a bit overgrown and weedy, but overall I would still recommend the property.

Wow! This is the best word to describe this property. Even better than the pictures show. The views and location are amazing! We stayed here for our Daughter's graduation and we didn't want to leave! Walk out into the country side with breathe taking views but you can also be down in the city in a 10 min drive. We will be back!

Fantastic stay. The property was as described and photos a true representation of the property, easy check in and check out, good communication, excellent location, peaceful and easy access to Bath. We were seven adults and the property was so spacious we never felt we were in each other’s space at all. Met the housekeeper who was absolutely lovely. Nice thoughtful touch with some orange juice and fresh milk in fridge upon arrival, tasteful deco throughout, extremely well equipped kitchen with absolutely everything you need snd more. Walking distance to good pubs where we had a decent Sunday roast and everyone left happy.

My family and I had the pleasure of spending an extended weekend at this property to celebrate a 70th birthday. As a three-generation group, we found that it accommodated all ages exceptionally well. The house is modern, offers wonderful views, and includes all mod cons. Please note that the property features several short staircases and steps due to its multi-level design. Clive welcomed us upon our arrival and provided an introduction to the house. A nearby ‘park and ride’ provides convenient access to Bath, alleviating any concerns about parking. On the way we visited Dyrham Park (National Trust), a 17th century house and garden located in ancient parkland, which we found lovely on a sunny day!

Overall a good place to stay if you have a large party of people. Just to note that there are stairs in the property 3-5 steps from the foyer to living room, some steps to some of the bedrooms as well. So if you are traveling with elder folks then you will need to take this into consideration. EV car charging was available and is chargeable as extra. Very quiet area in Bath.

The Ridge is a stunning property with incredible views out of every window. There were 8 of us plus a dog and there was so much space for us all. The accommodation was lovely, the hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive and it was just as described. Be mindful if you have a small walking toddler as there are steps down to the kitchen level and up to some bedrooms. We highly recommend turning left out of the property (towards the Granville housing estate) when out and about as the narrow-laned hill is slightly less scary and much shorter than the other way! Had a wonderful long weekend with the family for my daughter’s 40th birthday. The house worked really well for 7 adults and 6 small grandchildren. We were all comfortable and the children loved running around in the outside space. There was plenty of room for them to play indoors as well. We were lucky with the early April weather and were able to have coffee at the picnic bench in the morning - gorgeous sunrises - and enjoy a drink there in the evening with equally gorgeous sunsets. The city lights also provided a stunning backdrop. It was good to see a large range of cooking equipment and plenty of plates and glasses. So often I find these are in short supply in holiday homes. We were able to make meals and serve drinks without having to keep washing everything up. It was also good to have the dishwasher. It was easy enough to get to the centre of Bath and other sights and attractions by driving and we also used Uber and the bus service.

The property was as described but care is needed with young children, elderly and pets due to inside steps and unfenced garden. It was easy to miss the turning as no sign and the road is single track, however once inside the views are wonderful and peaceful. Easy access to Lansdown park and ride and into Bath within 15 minutes. A great place for a multi generational family holiday.

We stayed here for my birthday, and it was an absolute treat from start to finish. Mary and Clive were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with on WA (wont let me write the app name!), making everything seamless. The house itself was stunning, with a perfect balance of style and comfort. Spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with natural light, it felt like a true escape. The views were breathtaking, stretching as far as the eye could see, and we loved watching the wildlife, especially the friendly pheasant that came right up to the door. The kitchen was a dream—well-equipped, modern, and perfect for cooking and gathering. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the individual room temperature controls were a great touch, ensuring everyone slept well. Despite a hen party next door, the house was wonderfully peaceful, making it easy to unwind. This place exceeded all expectations, and we’d highly recommend it for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

A really sociable holiday home. Well equipped and very comfortable. We appreciated the eco-friendly aspects. The location on top of a ridge gave great views… and we were visited by deer and peacocks. We’d never experienced heating from ground source heat pump before and were impressed with the amount of warmth it gave off… indeed too much at times. There was plenty to do in the area, from great walks to Bath itself. We ate well at the Hare and Hounds pub which wasn’t far away, but we did have to drive as it wouldn’t have been safe to walk at night. A car is pretty much essential.

We stayed as a party of 8 with our dogs for a family celebration. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious in a peaceful location and has amazing views over Bath. Toiletries are provided in all 3 bathrooms, so no need to bring shampoo, conditioner and shower gel which was great. Despite turning down the thermostat the bedrooms were very hot and we all slept with the windows open. The location is a little remote and the narrow country lane is the only way (I think) to walk to the local shop and pub, about 20-30 minutes. We had wanted to use the footpaths over the fields but unfortunately weren't able to ascertain if this was possible. The house is set in 10 acres of land, but it's very steep and lumpy so it wasn't easy to walk the dogs there as it was muddy and slippery. I imagine in summer this would be much better. We found the booking process long winded and awkward to be honest, but Clive who met us at the property was very nice. Would definitely recommend for large groups.

This is a wonderful location to spend a few days relaxing. Short (steep) walk to local amenities, and not far from Bath centre to do some shopping or visit the baths. Immaculate property with stunning views, very comfortable but spacious. Great area outside for walks or playing. Well equipped kitchen and clean, modern bathrooms. Went on a friends trip and this place was perfect. It was actually bigger than expected, plenty of room for 11 adults. Very modern and clean inside with everything you would want. It was easy to get in and out of Bath by car / taxi and it’s not too far from Bristol either. The view is stunning and still feels like you’re in nature despite being close to the city.

The house was a perfect oasis! It was ultra-comfortable for two families to live in. The lay out is well designed, the furnishings comfortable and the bathrooms clean and beautiful. The location is in close proximity to Bath and the beautiful Somerset countryside. We also made a couple easy day trips further afield (Dorset coast and Wales). After long days exploring, it was wonderful to come back to the comforts of the Ridge. We were still in awe of the stunning views 7 days after our arrival. The house is also close to grocery stores and wonderful pubs (short drives away) and local restaurants delivered. The hosts were proactive in their communications. We were met on site for check in and the tour we got was perfectly friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the wonderful holiday!

Kitchen knife’s and pans could do with an update and some other suggestions like more seating outside the back of the house but other than that we had a really lovely stay and would stay again! BBQ is a lot smaller than the one in the currently pictures so bear in mind if planning a group bbq!

The location was beautiful, with stunning view and look out for the friendly pheasant (we later learnt called Phil) who stares at you and occasionally head butts the windows. Mary the housekeeper was always at hand (via social media app beginning with Whats (I'm not allowed to name it in here)) if we had any queries, which was nice. If I had to quibble, the house itself was dusty and a little tired in places with chips of paint of the walls and where there had been some plaster movement (new house issues), not repainted or repaired. Whilst there was a table and benches outside, it would have been nice to have had some more comfortable outdoor furniture to enjoy the view (i.e. deckchairs). All in all, very peaceful and feel rested.

A really fantastic place to stay, very secluded and had everything we needed for a great stay. The views from the lounge and master bedroom were stunning. The temperature of the property was perfect throughout our stay, we never once thought about turning the heating up or down. We were greeted by someone when we arrived and had the option to do so when we left, which we did, they walked us through the property when we arrived, and wished us a safe journey when we left. There was 9 of us staying at the house which was very comfortable and although the option was there we didn't need to contact the host during our stay. Park n ride was very close which made travelling into the centre very quick and easy. The rooms and bathrooms worked well for our friends and us, two different levels worked well for us too as it felt like we were together and separate when we wanted. Nice kitchen and lounge making a great social space that we spent most of our time in together, would recommend to anyone

The property was stunning, beautiful location and very well equipped but knocked a star off due to a few issues at the property. Firstly the dishwasher didn't function properly - seemed like it was the filter of the dishwasher which hadn't been cleaned for a very long time. Limescale build up in the bathrooms and so much dust and cobwebs! Not just a few here and there, which is to be expected, but lots! Which then makes you wonder how well the property is cleaned. Surely a duster or vacuum would clear that up in a jiffy. Makes me wonder how much is cleaned when guests are told to check out no later than 10am and check in no earlier than 4pm... But on the whole, a really great trip at beautiful Bath.

Perfect holiday home For family friend with kids Kids-friendly Comfortable beds Nice toilet shower and bathtubs with enough towels for everyone and the shower gels provided Plenty of utensils, cutleries, plates and mugs for self catering. Gorgeous view from inside and outside the house - huge windows in the living room, kitchen and dining area Road heading to the house is narrow. So just be mindful when driving especially at night. Overall, my friends and I were very happy with our stay.

This property is stunning, actually larger than we thought. It's set in countryside and has great views. We loved watching the sun rise from the dual aspect living room. The roads to and from are narrow but the locals are used to it and extremely helpful/courteous. Mary the manager was amazing, we forgot my sons comforter and Mary kindly located it and sent it back. Her communication was excellent. There's a park and ride a few minutes away, and a Spar which is about the same. Would deffo stay there again.

This is quiet possibly one of the most beautiful locations that I have stayed in through airbnb. The description is accurate and the checkin and out process was very easy. Very clear communication with the hosts. We really did not want to leave it was that good!

The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could need, and the views from the living area were absolutely stunning. The welcome from the host was great and we felt at home straight away. 10 of us (and 2 dogs!) stayed at this property for the weekend for a family get together. The views over Bath are absolutely stunning and the house is stunning too. It was all very clean and the decor is lovely and modern. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances we needed and there were lovely shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, washing up liquid and cleaning sprays etc included. A great quality high chair and travel cot were provided and even a box of toys too! The communication was great throughout the booking process and Mary was really helpful on arrival. We spent the whole weekend in the property as it was so lovely. Thanks for a wonderful stay, suitable for the whole family!

We loved staying at the Ridge, enjoyed the spacious and comfortable living spaces with beautiful views. There was a great foody pub about 20 min walk and it was easy to drive into Bath. It was perfect for a 3-generation family. Curated are responsive and helpful. However you are renting from a company, not from an individual - so had to sign a contract. There were a few little annoying things with the property eg one of the bedroom doors didn’t shut. But generally it was great we would definitely return. Thanks to Mary for a fabulously clean house and for returning our forgotten things.

We had a great stay at this property. There were 10 of us, over 3 generations. The house was lovely, with everything that we needed and amazing views across Bath. It is a really good distance from Bath, where we wanted to be. Three double rooms and two twin rooms. Just a couple of points, we had elderly parents with us, one who uses crutches to get around and we had chosen the house as it said it was all one floor. In fact, there are some steps in the house, for instance to get from the front door into the main living area. We were able to manage this but someone disabled may not be able to. We also had dogs with us and anyone else with dogs should know that the garden is not secure. Ours kept disappearing into the field next door when we turned our back. Overall though, a great house.

We had a great stay! The house is in a beautiful location and also really close to Bath so you get the best of both the city and countryside at the same time! The house was exactly as described. We did a lot of cooking and particularly liked the amount of crockery and serving bowls etc and the big dining table, so we could have family style dinners. Would definitely recommend!

We went for a special birthday and it exceeded expectations. Bath City was vey close by but we still felt away from the city. We all felt very comfortable. The bedrooms are a great size and well positioned and the open living made it ideal for family time. Will definitely visit again.

This was the perfect location. A short walk from the local area and a quick car journey away from the city centre. We had such a wonderful weekend at this peaceful, scenic location - it was the perfect place to unwind but also be a stone’s throw away from the city. Owners were attentive and quick to respond to any queries, the amenities and facilities were fantastic, and the furnishings were very modern and in great condition. There were 9 of us and we cannot find one fault during our stay..everyone absolutely adored their time here and we didn’t want to leave. Would absolutely book again for another get together and we’ll worth the money. The views of Bath are truly work it! Thanks for a great long weekend.

The Ridge is a wonderful holiday home with the most spectacular views of Bath. The property was perfect for 12 family members to celebrate a 70th birthday, with large open plan social space and split level layout meaning we never felt on top of each other. The facilities were clean and everything provided was adequate for our needs. Check-in was well organised with clear instructions. We had a great stay, so thank you so much for everything.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ridge. The property was amazing, with beautiful views of Bath. We were celebrating a family birthday, and we all had a wonderful time. The property was clean and large with all the modern facilities , ideal for my family of 10. The communication was clear at each stage, and they were very responsive. Would highly recommend.

Had a really wonderful stay here and can happily confirm that the pictures are a true reflection of this beautiful and spacious property. Only thing they don’t capture are the amazing views over the valley. The house has a lovely sense of seclusion while being only 10 minutes from city centre. We were a group of 10 adults and everyone in the group reported getting a great night’s sleep on comfortable beds, and there was much talk about what a great find it was. The check in was straight forward and they were quick to respond to our queries in the run up to our stay. Definitely one earmarked for a return visit.

Our stay at the Ridge was fantastic. The property is spectacular, so much space, perfect for 12 guests to socialise and have their own space when needed. The views over Bath were incredible plus only <£10 Uber into the city centre. The facilities provided were perfect, everything we needed was available.

We had a great stay here - six adults and three one year olds! Enough space for us to all eat and laze about comfortably. The views are beautiful, from all windows! The house was equipped with everything we needed - the washing machine, comfy sofas and large bath were especially handy with little ones around. The housekeeper met us and showed us around and was kind enough to wait for us when we were delayed in arriving. A quick drive from beautiful Bath too.

Amazing house with stunning views across the valley and beyond. perfect for our family gathering, with lots of accommodation space, plus relaxing lounge area, well-equipped kitchen and large dining table with chairs. made use of the BBQ and loved watching the hot air baloons rising above the city on beautiful, clear evenings. Just a few mins drive from the centre of Bath so great location for spending time in the city.

Beautiful, well-equipped home, and helpful hosts. I recommend having a car, because the country road there is very narrow, and cabs/Ubers can take a while to arrive. The plot of land was overgrown when we were there, so our dog was limited to the garden, but it was quite beautiful despite that.

Really nice place with great views. We were lucky with the weather so spent most our time on the bench outside. Easy taxi ride into Bath, then trains into Bristol if you wanted to go further out. Can’t fault our stay everything went smoothly.

Amazing house with great facilities , peaceful with unique view of Bath but only 10 mins to Bath by car. The outdoor space was great as we had lovely weather. Cooked dinner for 18 one night and that was not a problem. The space for everyone to be together was also great . Would love to go back at some point

We went for a long weekend as a family with some babies and grandparents. We spent some time in Bath and a day in Bristol. We loved the house and had a great stay here. It was perfect for our party size with lots of room for the toddlers to run around. Would definitely recommend staying here.

All of the amenities you’d need and the property was extremely clean and had a very modern but comfortable feel. The hosts were really helpful and there was a lovely local pub only a short walk away. We had a great weekend. The housekeeper Mary welcomed us into the home and explained a few things about the house. The views were incredible and the house was extremely clean and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook for 9 guests. The best part about the property was the location, with it being a 10 minute drive into the centre of bath or a £10 taxi. We were able to explore the city with ease and enjoy some great restaurants in the evening. Overall a brilliant stay!

Very well equipped with everything you would need - there were even fresh flowers in the house! Communication has been great. We were met by the housekeeper who took us through everything. Beautiful, modern and brand new property in a stunning location with breathtaking views over bath. Perfect for a group gathering. We had a drinks outside and a lovely dinner. Our chef found the kitchen very accommodating. Be careful when driving to the location if you’re not sued to country roads. Mary te housekeeper was very helpful with any queries we had prior to the stay. Too place - would def go back !

We recently stayed for a family member’s seventieth and had the best weekend. This stylish home has absolutely breathtaking views and was so spacious we never felt on top of each other. It’s only a 10 minute drive to Bath and you are surrounded by beautiful countryside with lots of walks near by. Each window in the house is surrounded by a different view. We saw deer right outside our bedroom window on our last day. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Our stay at the Ridge was spot on. We had a family get together for 11 people and there was plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped and we made use of the BBQ and had a chef in for a 3 course meal with no issues. Check in was seamless and communication was spot on. The views are to die for, there is even a nesting kestrel in the field with plenty of walks from the doorstep and a 10 min drive into central!

Wow! What a fantastic stay we had. The house is beautiful, with a large open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area, perfect for our group so we could all socialise together - can’t forget the stunning views over bath and only a short car ride (7mins) into bath. The house was well equipped with everything you could need and all the rooms were of good size and modern decor! The hosts were great, very quick to respond and answer any questions we had prior to the trip and I will most definitely be recommending this house to all friends and family and of course be returning myself :)

Kerrie & David’s place is spectacular with amazing views over the city of Bath. We came to Bath for a stag weekend and based ourselves near to our friends house and Lansdown Park to go to the races. The house is really modern with a good sized bedrooms, chic bathrooms and a spacious open plan kitchen and lounge area great for 6 people. There is a terrace outside of the property which looks out over Bath which was great whist having breakfast in the morning and drinks in the Evening. The house had everything you needed (tea, coffee etc) but be sure to stock up on food/drink as the nearest shop isn’t really walking distance. This is a great sport for a big group!

We had the best stay in Bath over the bank holiday weekend! Bath is a short drive from the house and yet it is so tranquil and all that you hear and see is nature. There are some great walks and pubs in the area just a walking distance away. The grounds of the property itself were very impressive too! The house is stunning - modern but cosy. It has all of the high end kitchen facilities. Makes cooking very enjoyable and with a view! The views from the house are spectacular and is the perfect location for a sundowner. The beds and rooms are very comfortable and temperature regulated. Kerrie and David were very kind to allow our dogs to stay as well which we greatly appreciated. They also added some lovely touches such as bespoke hand wash and body lotion in the kitchen and in all of the bathrooms. The housekeeper also made us feel very welcome during check in. Overall, we had the perfect stay and would highly recommend it!

This is a gorgeous home, with absolutely spectacular views of Bath and the surrounding area. Our group had a perfect weekend and we were blown away by the house and it's amenities. This is an ideal spot for a group, as it can comfortably accommodate many adults and even has a kid's room. The views from the property are nonpareil and it is just a short drive into central Bath, offering the perfect balance of privacy and proximity to the city. I wish I could give more than 5 stars as this spot deserves it!
