We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The train station, the pier and the shopping area are easily accessible on foot. The kitchen in the accommodation was a dream. The possibility of watching TV without problems also gave us a few moments of peace with children. The sofa bed saved us when our sleeping arrangement didn't work out. Unfortunately, none of us adults wanted to sleep on the bunk bed upstairs, as it is quite wobbly. And unfortunately, we underestimated how steep the stairs are. Our toddler fell down twice. Great inspiring books in the living room, by the way. The bathtub was also great! Washing laundry was also easy. We are very grateful for that. We can definitely recommend the apartment, it is really great.

Very cozy little cottage that feels like home. Walkable distance to shopping center and train station. Parking spot is a bit tight but conveniently located in front of the cottage.

This was our second stay at Michelle's place which shows how happy we are with the house. It is clean and comfortable and has everything we need for our stay in Eastbourne. My kids love the bunk beds, I love all the nice towels and well equipped kitchen :)

Beautiful little place and very well appointed. Close to the mall, beach and main attractions in Eastbourne. The parking was very convenient, just don't rent a very big car unless you are good at parking in a tight spaces. Overall very lovely experience.

Michelle was great at communicating with us and making sure we had everything we needed. The house was super clean and most of the furniture and appliances looked new. it was a little smaller than the impression we got from the photos and it's advertised as a house for six people. We were a family of five and it felt cosy. There isn't really space round the kitchen table or enough places to sit in the lounge for six people. The "dedicated work area" is a slightly generous description but it daughter worked at the kitchen table quite happily. The furniture in the courtyard is a little tired. I'd suggest a couple of tweaks to the listing as there's no driveway parking nor is it waterfront. However the location is quiet and the neighbours are very friendly, it's a short walk to town and the beach, and immaculately clean. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks Michelle.

Spent 5 nights at the property. It was clean and has been renovated to a very good standard. Kitchen equipment and appliances appear brand new. Towels and linen are of hotel quality. Bed very comfortable. A maintenance issue was dealt with in hours. The area is not picturesque, as mentioned in a previous review, parking is a challenge, but neighbours are friendly and street is quiet as it’s a no through road. Within 20 mins walking distance of train station, shops, restaurants and beach.

My original review was too long, but in summary I wouldn't return to this property (1st time in 27 Airbnb stays over 11 years). There are some pros (lots of crockery, beds, towels). There are more cons: black mold, musky/mold smell throughout property, dirty neighborhood lacking in any nice amenities, no coffee pods for the machine (not even a couple to get started?), very (very) small parking space (stressful), excessively noisy doors that woke people up in the night if opened/closed, uncomfortable living space, no dishwasher, no detergent for washing machine (empty bottle), problem with checkout (code had been changed), managed by 3rd party company not a real host, no dishwasher, thin walls - we could hear neighbors clearly. We didn’t contact the management company during our stay as individually these are small problems that were unlikely to be fixed during our stay, but hopefully some things can be addressed for future guests. For the price we’d have been better off at a hotel.

We had a great stay at this rental house. The house is very clean and very well provided for. Everything we needed was there and in good condition For example, the quantity and quality of the towels, including face cloths which is always such a luxury addition I think! The quality of the knives is another example. Michelle was helpful and responsive when I had questions. The property guide covers everything and more. The street itself isn't picturesque but the neighbours were very friendly and the location is brilliant for beachfront, train station, or Old Town. I definitely recommend this property.

Nice location. On the other hand, the code had been changed without warning us, we had to call a number (and therefore pay because we are from France) and wait a long time before talking to someone who did not apologize.... In addition, the ramp of the stairs (quite steep) is broken...
