Amanda is a brilliant and responsive host and this is the perfect place to stay in Stow on the Wold as it is right in the heart of everything. It’s also a great base for travelling out to other local areas in the Cotswolds - Bourton on the Water / Slaughters etc. Amanda provided some lovely little touches - welcome hamper, bath salts for the roll top bath etc and everything was covered for our pooch too- dog poo bags / blankets / beds / water bowl etc. The property was pristine and cosy and we cannot recommend highly enough! I think we’ll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Amanda’s cosy loft in Stow-on-the-Wold. The 1BHK space felt private and peaceful, yet it was only a short walk from the main street, making it very convenient. The loft was thoughtfully furnished and well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect balance of charm, comfort, and location – would definitely recommend!

If you're looking for a great location in the Cotswolds, this is a nice place to stay. Communication with the host was fantastic, and the location itself is incredible. While there’s no assigned parking, there are several options available in the village. That said, I didn’t find the place as luxurious as described. It’s certainly is an old building, but the interior feels a bit like a hodgepodge. There’s no separate shower, just a bathtub located in the bedroom, which makes for an awkward bath/shower setup. It was nice enough.

We had a lovely stay in Stow, the apartment was in an amazing location, right on one of the main streets. The bed was really comfy too! Only issues were there was not enough body wash provided and there is no shower - only the bath in the bedroom. Oh and watch your head due to low ceilings & beams. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Amazing location and place! I felt like I was in a dream vacation. Amazing views, perfect for romantic couple’s getaway. We visited many little villages near by, shopped and ate, we even cooked some great pasta bought in a little shop in Stow in the kitchen and relaxed quite a bit in the family room. My husband also took plenty of meetings there and in the outside terrace. Although my husband did suffer a bit in the bedroom part of the apartment because he is very TALL and it is an attic space with beautiful beams, but for a tall person it’s a little tight. None-the-less we did have an amazing time and made beautiful memories I will treasure forever!

arrived late afternoon, this place is a really awesome, we opened the door following all instructions, to find a very cosy and pleasant apartment, , myself , wife and 2 dogs , then set about stow on the wolds , wow what a very dog friendly and welcoming community this is , pub’s restaurants walk were top order , luckily the weather was great so a couple early breakfasts on the decking , and a couple of evening drinks /snacks provided by amanda ( the host ) , made our break more special, we will return, thank you amanda x

The Loft in Stow-On-The-Wold is the perfect little Cotswolds getaway! The accommodation is in a great location right amongst everything you need but also still private. The place itself is very clean and welcoming and the bed is like sleeping on a cloud! Amanda is very friendly and communicative, she gives you all the details you need in preparation for arrival and makes sure you are okay throughout your stay! Highly recommended and would love to return again!

We had a wonderful break at The Loft in Stow-on-the-Wold. The apartment was exactly as described, warm, cosy, clean and comfortable, easily accessible and in the most perfect location to explore such a beautiful town. The location was incredibly convenient, close to the beautiful town square and perfect for walking to the lovely restaurants and pubs that the town has to offer. We had a lovely stay at Amanda’s cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold. The cottage itself was cozy, well-presented, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable break. Stow’s charm made it the perfect base for our getaway, and we loved venturing out to nearby gems like Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway. Bourton’s picturesque riverside setting and Broadway’s stunning high street filled with independent shops and cafes were standout moments of our trip. The rolling countryside and scenic drives between villages made the experience even more special. Amanda was a great host—friendly, responsive, and full of helpful tips. The cottage’s location made it easy to explore all the area has to offer, and we’d happily return for another visit to the beautiful Cotswolds!

We had a lovely 5 night break at the Loft in Stow. Amanda was very helpful with our booking when our original AirBNB was cancelled 10 days before Christmas. The loft is in a great central location but extremely quiet. It is a unique property, old & quirky with a modern twist. The bedroom & roll top bath are just lovely. The place was great. Easily accessible and was very cosy. Low beams and doors in the apartment is a little bit of a pain for someone tall but really wasn’t major at all!! The apartment was spotless and Amanda had a really useful booklet she’d created with local places to visit, taxi numbers etc, really useful. The front outside light wasn’t working but I raised this on our departure and I’m very confident from the response that this will be sorted. Again, something very minor. Overall the apartment was great value for money and we will be using Amanda again on our next Cotswolds visit 😊

Very nice apartment, well appointed and comfortable. Quite expensive but that is the location. Overall communication, access, home instructions etc very good. The parking is tricky in Cotswolds towns so be aware of that. The host does give good tips on where to park so follow them.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amanda’s place came up for us last minute and we decided to quickly book it. It was in the perfect location - down the stairs and you were in the middle of Stow, on the terrace, and you felt worlds away from the busy town. The place was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had been carefully considered as to what amenities you may possibly need during your stay. Amanda checked in with us during the stay to see how things were and if we needed anything to give her a shout. Will certainly be looking to book again next year! 😊

Amanda’s place was great!! It was perfect for what we needed. It’s right in town and easy to get to right by the bus stop. If you’re not sure based on the pictures- there is no shower in the bathroom, but the place is great and the bath tub was a lovely touch

This is an interesting booking. There is a lot going for the location (nearly at the heart of everything) but it's not a place I recommend with children. Host has made a lot of improvement to make this a unique booking. there are three separate areas, a living room as you enter, a kitchen in the middle and bedroom at the far end. It is not the most comfortable rental due to the age of the property and there are some key consideration that need to be made before staying at this place. - there are multiple steps (29 by my count) to the front door from the private courtyard. We had a toddler with us and it was not easily navigated. - Inside the home, there are low doorways and one beam in the bedroom that I hit my head on during our stay. - there are steps inside the home which our toddler was keen on exploring. We made a last minute booking at Amanda's place and suffered the consequences. She is very responsive and provides clear communication which is always welcomed.

Myself, my husband and our little miniature dachsund came to stay at Amanda’s place for our 10th wedding anniversary. It felt so special-the cottage is stunning and absolutely pristine. Some very thoughtful extra things had been left too-personalised chocolates on the pillows, a couple of gin and tonics 😊 along with tea and coffee. The roll top bath in the bedroom was amazing and it was beautiful to lie in and look over the sky line on. Having our own very private terrace was great for having breakfast and drinks out on. The location is AMAZING! you are right in the town centre with coffee shops, bakeries and bars at the ready. Amanda is a fantastic host-friendly, professional and extremely pro-active in making sure your stay is as stress free and enjoyable as possible. She even sent recommended dog friendly eateries and bars 😊 We will definitely come back!

Beautiful location, great old property with all the quirks of a 300 year old loft but done up to an incredibly high standard. Slightly difficult to access via car inside of business hours due to popularity of stow and limited parking options, so definitely worth visiting somewhere on the way and showing up after 5 to use the courtyard to unload if travelling by car. Amanda was a highly responsive host who is clearly doing an excellent job as a host and I’d definitely rebook this property or look for another of hers when returning. Enjoyed our stay so much we extended by another day. Incredibly affordable and stunningly well located for the price. We’ll be back.

The Loft was beautiful! Very comfortable with everything you need. Comfortable bed and sofa and the roll top bath in the bedroom was a real treat! The location was fantastic lots of fab restaurants and tea rooms close by to the accommodation. The only thing was the parking situation. To unload you need to try and navigate the small area at the bottom of the loft and quickly take it up to the accommodation. The car park next to Tesco a 10minute walk away was the best place to park as Stow on the wold is a tourist attraction and there is only 2 hour parking on the street. So would definitely recommend parking there.

Lovely 2 nights at Amanda’s, really recommend if you are looking for a central location in Stow. You shower in the roll top bath and it is up a few steps behind above the shops, so not for those less nimble that’s all, whilst perfect for us. Enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep, breakfast on the private terrace and lovely selection of treats on arrival. Dinner at the Porch House, lunch at Lucys and fab coffee place opposite as you come out. Also worth a look in the Crock shop opposite too. Dont forget your instructions for the gate after 5. I do see what another comment re communication means, but won’t dwell on that. Parked nearby easily. Really wonderful couple of nights here…

What an absolute hidden gem!! The Loft is an absolutely stunning apartment in a secluded place in Stow-on-the-Wold. A last minute booking, we were delighted with our choice . The apartment is Beautifully furnished with everything you could need , we didn’t want to leave !! Even though it’s in the middle of the town it is so quiet and the roof terrace is a perfect place to sit, relax and have a late night drink or an early morning coffee. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. Amanda was an amazing host, great communication and we had all the info we needed to hand . The apartment/lot itself is wonderful. Match the Cotswold style by all means. The kitchen is well-equipped and nicely designed. The place is very quiet. Parking is on Market Square, just steps away, and it is free from 6pm to 11 am. The issue is communication—dozen of messages, hard to find relevant information. When I sent a message to Amanda, I got pre-written scripts as a response. Finally, Amanda answered ... that I am more stupid than the rest of the world. Thanks for the compliment. Another issue is the entrance gate. I realize it was not set by Amanda, but maybe she needs to talk to businesses in that place to set something simpler. Conclusion - the place is excellent and highly recommended. Just be prepared for some inconveniences.

This is an amazing place to stay during your adventures in the Cotswolds. The place is gorgeous inside with a comfortable bed and an amazing hot tub with a view overlooking Stow-on-the-Wold. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need to make an amazing meal. Since it's behind the main street, it also is very quiet at night. Amanda was very responsive and have many suggestions for places to see and things to do. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful last minute stay at Amanda’s Loft. We booked and arrived within one hour and everything went super smoothly. Perfect accommodation, felt like home from home. Loved the bath tub! Lovely accommodation and great location. Our only issue was the building work going on at the adjoining property which meant that workmen were on the roof overlooking the accommodation - removing any privacy that the terrace had and we had to keep the bedroom blinds closed whilst using the bath which was a shame. The building works also started at 8am which woke us and our dog up which we appreciate is out of the hands of the host!

Great stay! This was a perfect place for our weekend stay. The location is absolutely unbeatable. The host provided crystal clear instructions so check in that could have otherwise been messy was seamless. The only thing I will advise is prep for minding your head a lot. My husband who is 6ft 2in took a good hit to the head on a frame which had me in quite a fit of laughter but just be aware you’ll be crouching a bit if you’re tall. This stay all in all was absolutely perfect!!

The apartment is perfect! It has a central location, quiet, and beautiful on the inside. We used it as a base location for exploring the surrounding towns. Additionally, Amanda was more than kind and understanding when we accidently had booked our stay one night short of what we thought. She was more than accommodating with our mistake and while we weren't able to extend our stay with her, she went out of her way to try and find us another apartment locally that had availability. The Loft was in a beautiful location in the Cotswolds with everything we could need (with the known exception of a shower!). Amanda was a good host with plenty of helpful information about both the flat and the surrounding area. The one thing that really let the stay down was that the bedroom floor wasn’t very clean. The long carpet was matted with a noticeable smell, and after walking around in socks our feet were covered in white fur. Fair warning that it’s not an easy flat for taller people. Despite the signed warnings, my partner and I were constantly knocking our heads on the doorways, beams, and roof.

Extremely charming and picturesque flat. Was the perfect city escape. We spent a couple days here and didn’t need a car (took the train in from London). There is a bus stop 5 min walk from the flat to train station & Burton on the water. Only thing to note is it is not accessible for those not able to climb stairs easily & there was no shower beyond the beautiful tub. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for the perfect Cotswold stay. Thank you Amanda!

I spent ages looking for the perfect place to take my partner for our anniversary; I’m glad I found The Loft! In a very central location to see everything The Cotswolds has to offer, whilst cozy enough to settle down in front of the fire or enjoy the freestanding bath (plenty of room for two, save water and all!) I can’t say the access would be ideal for those less able, but climbing the steps in the ice was worth it for what waited above! I was worried parking would be an issue, but even if I hadn’t been able to find a free space on nearby Sheep Street, Tesco is only a 10 minute walk away; worth noting as the Co-Op is convenient (1 minute away) but is very pricy! We’d be happy to return to The Loft, we had a lovely stay, and hope you do too. If you’re considering it, go ahead you won’t regret it.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Loft in Stow-on-the-Wold. The flat itself was much bigger than we expected and was left spotless. The bed was very comfy & the bath was great for the lazy, rainy mornings we had. The Loft is in the perfect spot to explore the Cotswolds! It is in driving distance to lots of hot spots, as well as being in the heart of Stow, which has lots of pubs and restaurants to try. Thank you, Amanda!

A really beautiful stay. The accommodation was clean, tiny and warm on arrival which was a lovely touch. The bed was really comfy and the black out blinds meant we could have a good lie in! The flat is located right in the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold, surrounded by plenty of pubs and a little supermarket 2mins walk away. Dog bed and bowls supplied for our little dog too which was great. The Loft is a great stay! Perfect for me traveling solo, but I would definitely come back with my husband. The location is perfect, very close to all Stow has to offer and the bus stop to other villages. The apartment had very modern furnishings and the bed linens were super soft and comfortable. I was amazed at how modern the interior was while still retaining its historic charm! Check in communication very thorough and easy. What a gem! Lots of steps to access the loft, but that was not a problem for me and it added to its charm. I felt very hidden away even though I was right in the center of town.

Lovely attic converted flat. Kitchen had everything you need to make a meal. Bedroom is very spacious with a bath/ shower head. Located behind the shops in a private courtyard, it is very central and there is lots of parking available, even in summer if you time it right. Would recommend!

We had a perfect stay in The Loft! The location could not be better - moments from fantastic restaurants, shops etc. The space had everything we needed - we were so impressed with how cosy it felt and yet there was plenty of room to relax. The enormous bath tub and complimentary bath salts were the perfect way to unwind at the end of a busy day! Amanda was so helpful and quick to respond. We cannot wait to return!

Brilliant few days at The Loft. I chose it for a variety of reasons and it didn’t disappoint on any of them. It’s quirky, unique and romantic, whilst also being practical, perfectly located and surprisingly spacious. It will forever be in our hearts as I chose these few days to propose to my girlfriend. I’m sure we’ll return at some point in future as the place holds such great memories…and of course that epic bath. Beautiful, cosy hideaway in a great location! Right in the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold, next to all the shops, pubs and restaurants. The Porch Inn was a lovely place to eat, we had a great meal there. The views from The Loft are amazing when you come out of the door, there are a lot of steps up across roofs to access which took a few trips to take our stuff upstairs. The lighting on the first set of stairs isn't great at nighttime, we had to use our phone torches as the lamp didn't work. Parking wise, there is a small courtyard you can pull into to unload but then we had to find somewhere to park in the town and walk back which wasn't a problem. We had a great stay here for our mini-moon! The comfiest bed and lovely decoration inside with the beams and the rolltop bath. Thank you!

The apartments location is perfect, right in the heart of Stow and allows you to easily navigate the wider areas of the Cotswolds. We had a slight issue with the gate but Amanda was amazing at easily resolving this and it was sorted. We will definitely stay again.

The loft is fabulous. Walking across rooftops to get to your accommodation was fab. (Very safe) The lay out was lovely and spacious. It was very well equipped and dog friendly too. It has a roll top bath in the bedroom (no shower) but had a detachable shower head which was perfect for rinsing the hair! Would highly recommend. Stow is lovely as well lots of nice eateries and pubs.

This loft is beautifully presented and very clean the host has spared no expense and used good quality furnishings and accessories. We had lots of communication from Amanda and we found the video's on how to access the property very useful. As stated on the advert the property does have some steep stairs to climb and is lacking a shower I therefore felt I could not give it five stars but if you are happy to work around these quirks you will have a lovely stay.

The loft was absolutely perfect for our staycation in the Cotswolds. The location is in the centre of stow on the wold and a minute walk away from lots of pubs and cafes. As well as a Co-op which is open til 10pm. The loft is dog friendly which was perfect for us and our dog. The loft was very clean and the decor is wonderful. The facilities were great with a dishwasher and washing machine which were handy for our longer stay. I had lost my check in email (all my fault) luckily Amanda was on hand to help us get in without any hassle. Amanda was a great host and we’d recommend the loft to anyone looking to stay in the Cotswolds.

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay! The pictures do not do it justice. It was clean, and beautifully decorated with lots of little extras, like the welcome tray. The most dog friendly place in the uk! Stan loved his bed and treats. Lots of beautiful walks. If you are staying I’d advise you book dinner as it can get booked at the moment, as most people are staycationing. We will definitely return in one of Amanda’s other properties. A fantastic property in a beautiful central location. All communication with the hosts was excellent and many suggestions given on where to eat etc. On street parking a little difficult on a very busy Sunday but after only one move, we parked within a few metres. Everything in the property is of a very high standard and extremely comfortable. Loads of great places to eat/ drink on your doorstep and many lovely walks. Personally I would have preferred a shower rather than a a bath, but probably difficult to install in this old quirky property. Stow is a pretty market town and well worth a visit.

Amanda’s place was lovely. Great location, well equipped and very cute. The pre info was the best I’ve ever received from an Airbnb host! Very detailed and made finding the place/check in really easy. Nice touch with the teas, coffees and snacks in the kitchen. Late 11am check out was perfect! The only thing I would note to others is there is no shower, other than the hand held one in the bath in the bedroom, this isn’t a Criticism and merely a watch out for others who prefer a shower! Thanks so much! X

He only thing I will say is that being a loft it is difficult if you are very tall and there is a tendency to bump your head.

Perfect location to try the fabulous local restaurants (we went to Porch House, The Kings Arms and The Sheep, all of which provided amazing food within less than 5 minutes walk). Thank you for a lovely stay. It was a beautiful loft conversion in a Grade II listed building. Excellent communication from start to finish, perfect little extras for our four legged bestie, and thoughtful extras like coffee and tea, dishwasher cleaners, full kitchen utilities at hand. The balcony was an amazing sun trap and was soo close to all the great walks as well as close to the amazing doggy meadow on the main road into stow. Amazing restaurants sooo close by, it was a perfect trip. Try Alexiou’s, and the Porch, as well as the old butchers. Will definitely book again soon

The Loft was a lovely, cosy space and exactly what you would expect to find when staying in the Cotswolds. The Loft was well furnished, decorated and had all the facilities/amenities you require for a staycation. The Loft was excellently situated on the corner of the market square, meaning we were just a couple of minutes walk away from the restaurants, pubs and shops. The Loft was also extremely clean which gave us comfort considering the current covid-19 situation. A friend and I have just got back from a 4 night stay at The Loft and already wish we were back there! We spent ages looking for the perfect getaway and we weren’t disappointed when we got here. It’s in a great location, centre of Stow on the Wold and only a short drive to the stunning neighbouring villages. Plenty of choice around the village for breakfast lunch and dinner but also great amenities if you fancy a night in! The Loft itself was bigger than we were expecting as we thought it might be quite pokey but it wasn’t at all and has a really lovely feel to it. We were lucky enough to have some good weather during our stay so the private terrace was definitely a bonus! Would definitely recommend and may even come back again myself :)

Inspiring transformation of an unusual space. Very cosy with all basic amenities to hand - plus a few extra thoughtful touches (bottle of wine on arrival!). The location is ideal - we were spoilt for choice with restaurant options (our favourite was ‘The Old Butchers’ - authentic Anglo-French cuisine, with a knock-out wine list, in the unassuming setting of a converted butchers shop). Amanda’s loft was also in close proximity to a number of Cotswold hotspots. Would definitely stay again - especially to utilise the rooftop space in the summer months!

This place is cozy and lovely!! We had a great time there. It was our first time to visit Cotswolds but I quite recommend this place to stay. Stow-on-the-wold is really nice and quiet. Even though it’s a small area, there are lots of restaurants, supermarkets, and shops to enjoy. You’ll never get bored for sure;) And Amanda is a really nice sweet host. Really beautiful!!! We stayed here for 3 nights in january and just didnt want to leave! The apartment was beautiful, really snug and the location is amazing!!!!! Amanda was also so lovely and super responsive at all times! We massively recommend and will be returning! One slight issue was the parking. If you arent driving, then this will be fine but if you are make sure you come prepared. There is literally no where to park when you turn up, and if you do drive somewhere during the day, make sure you come back at 6pm onwards so that you can get a space. At times i spent over and hour circling the block in the car waiting for a space

An amazing spot for a weekend break! The loft was sparkling clean and the bath was awesome. Amanda left a blanket and treats for my dog which was so thoughtful. The only thing to note is as the building is old the doorways are rather low!

We had a lovely weekend in the loft apartment, the layout and style is beautiful and great location right in the middle of the town. Amanda was always so quick to respond and the information given was spot on. We found it very easy to find and access even in the dark! Would 100% recommend the loft to others! Thank you.
