Beautiful property. Really cosy for a couple to enjoy for a few days. Easy to get to. Easy walk into Bourton where there is a great selection of pubs/cafes/ shops etc. Within easy reach if local towns. The property is immaculate. Has everything you need. Amanda was great with providing info and very quick to respond. Was very helpful and friendly. I will happily book another of her properties.

Little Gem Cottage was the perfect escape that me and my wife needed. The cottage offered a great balance from a cosy night in front of the fire or a quick walk down to Bourton-on-the-water for the day/evening. The Cottage was lovely and offered a great place to escape the pouring rain during our visit. The large free standing bath was a particular favourite with my wife and having a wood burner downstairs was perfect for the evenings. Amanda and the team were so accommodating not only for us but also our dog Daphne. There are plenty of lovely walks surrounding the area and dog friendly pubs, restaurants and shops. We all had such a great weekend and would definitely be back!

Just home from a lovely few days at little gem cottage, which was just beautiful in the most perfect location and so peaceful but close to all that Bourton has to offer! The cottage was immaculate, well equipped and organised with everything you need! We did struggle to get the heating on as the evenings became a bit chilly but the log burner worked a treat! There were clear instructions so I put our problems down to us not being able to work it out!! A fab stay in a lovely village, will definitely be back ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

What a beautiful home away from home! So much thought has been put into this amazing little cottage- from the delicious bedding, to the welcome tray, to the night light that comes on in the bathroom if you need to visit in the middle of the night. There's a really helpful folder full of all the info you could ever want, it made it so easy to settle in. We enjoyed our first ever indoor fire, thank you for a great core memory.

A lovely day in Amanda’s cottage right in the heart of Bourton on the water! Amanda was super helpful and friendly on the lead up to our holiday and response time was extremely fast. The cottage is in an amazing location, it is quite small inside , with the downstairs all one open planned area but is finished to a high standard 😊 the parking space was ideal, especially being so central! The only thing I would say is that the kitchen pans and utensils do need replacing, the pans are no longer nonstick, but a very small thing! Great stay and lovely host

Little Gem is a perfect place to base a short stay in the Cotswolds as it’s in a great location to easily get around the many villages in the area. The cottage was warmly presented with lots of attention to the little details that make you feel like you are at a home away from home. The cottage is in a nice quiet location. Our 5 night stay was great! The cottage is as listed/shown - a good size for 2 people. The location is wonderful - 5 minute walk to town. Very convenient to have your own designated parking spot right near the back door. Amanda was very kind to let us check in a little earlier. Would definitely like to stay again. Highly recommend!

Lovely feel good factor place! Lovely Linen and towels It’s bigger than the Photos show. Lots of lovely quiet side roads to cycle. Great bass for the Cotswolds as everything is within half an hour 40 minutes away, If you want to visit the bigger towns or the villages are much closer. The cottage is lovely and perfect for a couple and a dog. Really easy to walk into the village centre and lots of country walks. Due to the rain we have had recently there was an issue with the cottage that water was squishing up through the downstairs floorboards on one of our two nights and then just damp the second night. Not ideal but not terrible as we were out most of the time. Amanda did tell us about the issue once we had arrived and provided a dehumidifier. I think an issue for a lot of the local area.

Beautiful cottage in the lovely village of Bourton On The Water. This was an ideal spot to base ourselves for exploring the Cotswolds. Amanda has the place in pristine condition and fully equipped with everything you need. Easy walk into the village to lovely pubs and restaurants. A word of caution on the pricing though - I noticed the week before and the week after our booking was significantly cheaper than our week. In raising this with Air BnB they informed me that they have no control over pricing and that it is solely up to the host. I brought this up with Amanda and she informed me Air BnB take a significant commission, and she operates on a dynamic pricing model, which can evidently fluctuate significantly. I noted that the pricing on the cottage direct website was significantly cheaper, so that would be the way to go in the future. Pricing aside, the cottage was wonderful and we would not hesitate returning, but avoiding booking through Air BnB!

Amanda’s place is a fabulous Airbnb, all the mod cons in a renovated old cottage. Lots of nice touches and inclusions including a basket of goodies. I loved the open fire too. We loved our time at Little Gem Cottage! We felt welcome as soon as we arrived with an easy check-in, local goodies to enjoy and chocolates at turn-down. After being on the road for several days it was great to be able to complete a load of washing and relax in the outdoor courtyard. The cottage is within a short stroll to the main centre of the village and a stones’ throw to the Mouse Trap Inn, where we had dinner and shared a few drinks. We would encourage anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxed and accomodating cottage & host to check out Little Gem!

Beautiful place, great area and lots to do. The cottage was spotless, cosy and comfortable. Amenities provided were great, especially the portable fan provided for hot weather. Tv in living room and bedroom; ideal for a cosy day/night. Everything you would need including tourist attractions within walking distance, but still peaceful despite this. Great on site parking. Great sized bathroom, shower and bath. Quick and easy checkout, with little to do, making it a more enjoying experience for your holiday. One issue we had when booking, we requested 11am check in and this was shown on AirBnB that it had been accepted. When we arrived, there was still someone in. We messaged the local housekeeper on the number provided as instructed to do so by the Host if there was any issues. We received a disrespectful message in reply from the house keeper, implying that we could not read. Overall, the experience was great, however, did not appreciate the insulting message received from housekeeper.

The Little Gem Cottage was perfect for our stay. Cosy (perfect size for 2 people), within walking distance to the center of town, and very safe. Good Wifi and everything we needed — including a laundry pod to get us started with a load of laundry. Amanda provided a very detailed guide with everything available to us and proactively asked if everything was ok with our stay. She even included personalized details and local snacks to welcome us. This cottage is ideal for staying in Bourton on the water. It’s walkable to the village, plenty of food options and very peaceful place to be. It’s amazingly spacious seeing as it’s a one bed cottage. It felt very nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Super clean inside and lots of helpful leaflets about the area. She sent us information on places to eat, they were all extremely nice. We would recommend to anyone. We had our dog with us who loved being with us and the village is very dog friendly. Plenty of dog walks in the area. Highly recommend. She left us some biscuits and snacks to have during our stay. We didn’t cook in there but it has everything you would need to. Plus bbq in garden if you wanted it

Lovely cottage in a pretty location. Host made us feel very welcome with lovely touches, such as locally sourced milk and some yummy biscuits, chocolates, a selection of tea and coffee and some crisps. These were highly appreciated on arrival after the drive. The instructions to find the cottage were very clear, so we found it pretty quickly. Parking was useful also. The host also left details of restaurants to try and things to do in the local area. Many thanks

We stayed at Amanda’s beautiful cottage for our anniversary. Every single thing about this cottage is perfect. The cottage was exceptionally clean and wonderfully decorated and had such a cosy feel to it. Amanda’s place was lovely and perfect for a couple.. the house was spotless and very clean., beautiful decor and the location was super. I would have given 5 stars all the way but the only reason I didn’t was as a “dog friendly” stay it was clear that dogs could only stay downstairs and there was limited access to the rest of the house.. I can appreciate why but I guess we are used to having our dog on our bed in the morning and we couldn’t do the same here.. sometimes I think if your dog friendly then there shouldn’t be so many restrictions.. having said that though we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Amanda’s place..

Stopped at Little Gem Cottage for our first time in the Cotswolds. Amanda gave use clean instructions on how to get the cottage in good time so we could plan our journey. We arrived in Bourton-on-the-water at lunch time, we were able to message (Ginny) if they could accommodate an early check in, we were able to check in from 13:30 which was perfect! On arrival, the private car parking space was easily accessible, which was right outside the garden gate. When we got in to the cottage, we were greeted with a lovely welcome package with a range of local things. The cottage was clean to an outstanding standard, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were perfect. The location of the cottage is perfect, just a few minutes walk into bourton. Me, my partner and my 5 year old cocker-poo loved it and we will be definitely booking again! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful Cotswolds cottage.

We love staying in the Cotswolds and Amanda's property did not disappoint! Great location for walking to shops, pubs, and restaurants. The space was nicely furnished and very clean. We would have loved to stay longer! If you are in need of a taxi for traveling to other towns be sure to schedule ahead of time. They seem to be in high demand and not as easy to arrange last minute as in London.

Amanda’s home was perfect, very clean and neat. It was quiet and peaceful. Easy walking distance to local shops, restaurants and including a supermarket. Many towns to visit in the surrounding areas. Taking a 20-30 minute stroll between the Slaughters is a must…. My all time tip is to be sure you make reservations at a restaurant weather you use it or not, Burton on the water is a wonderful magical area and Amanda’s home made it even better.

Just stayed 4 nights at Little Gem cottage with my partner and our dog. It was the perfect location and just the right size for the 3 of us. Really handy having an allocated parking space, especially as we were there over the busy bank holiday weekend. We had no complaints, and the host & housekeeper were easy to contact. Little Gem is a beautiful little cottage in an absolutely idyllic town. The place is warm, inviting and well appointed with a full kitchen, great quality fireplace, steaming hot water and even a gorgeous bathtub. It has been tastefully renovated. Little Gem was just perfect for our long weekend getaway. Bourton on the water truly is Little Venice of the Cotswolds. Amanda’s place was cosy and private, the bed was really comfy, the shower was great and the log fire was a great evening bonus! Short walk into the main Center with lots of places to eat and drink. Hopefully we will return to the area in the near future and I would not hesitate at all to book Little Gem Cottage as our base.

Perfect location, a few minutes walk into Burton-on-the-water with great restaurants and pubs. Lovely walk along the quiet country roads to Lower Slaughter. Arrived late at night (and in the snow), but very clear instructions on how to find the property and parking, we had no issues at all. Heating was easy to work, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice bonus.

This was a wonderful stay. I love Little Gem Cottage! This bnb is decorated beautifully and very tastefully furnished, elegant but rustic a bit too with nice wooden floors downstairs. It has everything needed for comfort. I loved the bathtub! We were pleased with the wine and the snacks that were kindly provided. I love how close this cozy flat was to the village of Bourton on the Water. The bed is very comfy and we would love to return. The host was very prompt and friendly is all communications.

Had a wonderful stay at Little Gem, it’s such a nice sized space for a couple and the house has been very well renovated so many nice touches. Amanda is very dog friendly which is important to us as we have 2 so it was great to arrive and not only be greeted by a nice welcome pack but also some specific things for the dogs as well. Kitchen was well stocked of items and the bathroom and shower are very nice. Well located within an easy stroll of town , and a nice pub the Mouse trap is only a few 100 yards away. Amanda was excellent with her communication and very easy to find. Would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Bourton on the water that they consider little gem cottage. We stayed in Little Gem Cottage for a romantic getaway in the lead up to Christmas and it was magical! The perfect size for a couple. Clean, modern, cosy and equipped with all the amenities you need. It was so close to the centre of Burton on the Water and Amanda and Ginny looked after us and helped us with everything we needed. I’d highly recommend and will be returning!

Incredibly lovely cottage! Very clean and well located for the centre of Bourton but also quiet! Has everything you need, and then some! Nice little garden that’s private with a little bbq (not that we could use it in the snow!) Both Amanda and the housekeeper Ginny were incredibly helpful! Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Amanda’s place is a lovely quiet & cosy cottage close to the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water. The cottage is warm with central heating and has a wood burning stove if you need it. It was very clean and well equipped with all that you need for the stay. A dog bed & bowl was even provided for our dog. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Thank you Amanda.

Super cute cottage, perfect for a couple! We felt very welcomed. Location couldn’t have been better, just a really short walk to the local town, with some great recommendations from Amanda which did not disappoint! We really enjoyed playing the monopoly in the cupboard. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again!

Lovely cottage with a perfect location and dog friendly! Amanda was a great host, checking we were okay after our first night via message and the housekeeper was great with communication! Lovely facilities, Amanda had thought of everything including umbrella, torch, shopping bag etc! We stayed for our honeymoon and wouldn’t change our pick if we did it again, thank you for making it a lovely trip! So many amazing restaurants and amenities nearby that are dog friendly :)

Thank you Amanda for an unforgettable 3-night stay at little gem! The cottage is located a few minutes walk from the centre of the village which is perfect to get away from the crowds during the day in such a peaceful location. Our cocker spaniel absolutely loved the cottage too and perfect for her to walk around in the gated patio area where we were able to bbq and sit outside in the evenings which really made the stay that bit better! Thanks again and hope to be back soon.

Lovely little cottage with a particularly excellent location! Bourton On The Water is picturesque, and surrounded by lovely countryside which is perfect for dog walking - lots of nice little walks from the door, and longer hikes if you have an energetic pooch - well marked trails mostly, plenty of routes to keep mostly off of roads, and only a few fields with animals (majority is barley or similar) which helps when you have a working cocker spaniel to exercise!

The cottage was beautiful, clean and perfect for our short break. We loved the decor and everything we needed was provided, even doggy things. We were very lucky with the weather and took advantage of the courtyard garden to relax on the sofa in the balmy evenings. The cottage is located only about 5 minutes walk from the village, with a choice of routes, our particular favourite being along the River Windrush where our dog was able to cool off in the stream. We made good use of the restaurant recommendations in Bourton-on-the-Water - we loved the Rose Tree Restaurant and the Bakery on the Water - and would also recommend the Porch House in Stow. We also enjoyed the walk to Wyck Rissington in the guest folder and a walk between Lower and Upper Slaughter with extremely pretty scenery. One tip as we emerge from Covid restrictions - it would be useful at the moment to book ahead to favourite restaurants as demand often outstrips supply. We will certainly recommend Little Gem cottage to our friends. They will all love it!

Gorgeous stay at Little Gem Cottage. Perfect location to walk into Bourton-on-Water (a beautiful little village) and driving distance to surrounding villages such as Stow, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Burford etc. Spotlessly clean cottage, the log burner was fantastic and the bed was SO comfy. After a long day of exploring, being able to relax and have a bath was definitely needed, and thank you Ginny for the bath salts as an extra touch! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit the Cotswolds. Thank you Amanda for having us x

Beautiful cottage with everything you could want for a short stay. The location is absolutely perfect as a 5 minute walk into the middle of Bourton On The Water so very peaceful, but can be in the middle of everything within minutes. Communication was also great throughout. Would highly recommend.

Little Gem Cottage is a fantastic base for a Cotswolds trip! We stayed with our cockapoo Freddy and he loved it too! It was the perfect size space with lovely furnishings - a VERY comfy bed, and a lovely bath to relax in! The kitchen facilities were great! Would definitely stay again!

A beautiful, clean cottage with a stunning bathroom and every amenity you need for a short break. The decor was so thoughtful and created a real ambience of calm. Perfectly located on the edge of Bourton-on-the-water. Close enough to walk within 10 minutes, but far enough away to have peace and quiet, and a distinct lack of tourists. The reserved parking spot right outside the cottage was extremely convenient and the patio garden was safe and secure for our dog. We would definitely stay at Little Gem on our next Cotswolds trip. Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location in Bourton-on-the-Water. The cottage has great amenities and was super clean. The little touches including the dog treats and bottle of wine were really thoughtful and that perfect extra touch. Check in/out was easy and the cottage had was a delight to stay in. This was a great little getaway for us: wife, 3 month old baby girl, 3 year old dog and myself. Our first full family getaway. The cottage is in a great spot, a short walk into town but set out so your not overrun with tourists at your doorstep. The fitout is amazing, all the modcons you could want: brand new kitchen, great heating, big tvs and a beautiful bathroom! Probably one of the best BnBs we've stayed at.

Little Gem Cottage is simply gorgeous - indeed a gem! We were given gorgeous little touches and all the information one could need to visit Bourton on the Water. The bedroom was sparkling clean, along with the bathroom and kitchen. It’s so cute and cosy and honestly we felt so at home during our stay! We cooked loads but if we took a short walk, we could also visit pubs and ice cream parlours etc - the location is just wonderful! Thank you Amanda, what a gorgeous home!!

Absolutely stunning cottage beautifully located a 5 minute stroll from the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water. Communication was excellent, house manual was incredible, and Little Gem itself was of the highest quality throughout. All furnishings and fixtures and fittings were high end, beautifully comfortable and luxurious. Great outdoor seating, cute BBQ, bespoke parking spot by the gate....Everything you could wish for in Airbnb. Amanda was the perfect host, thanks again. Stay here because you won’t regret it!!

This cottage was even better in real life that in the photographs. The decor was tasteful but cosy and comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the wood burner and the bathroom was as god as we have experienced in high end hotels. Amanda is a lovely host. Check in couldn't have been easier and there was a lovely welcome card and a tray full of goodies . All together , this was great value for money and located in one of England's most perfect settings.

Absolutely lovely property, so well renovated with the perfect amount of space and all the modern amenities you could need. Parking space right outside and the bonus of the log burner for a cosy night in. There's so much to do in and around Bourton with great restaurants just a stones throw way. Hope to stay again soon.

Thank you Amanda for an incredible weekend!! The property was so convenient to the little village but the house was so cosy we had to force ourselves out! The house is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean and had everything we could possibly need. Amanda was really quick to get in touch and sent really helpful information about the local area. We had an incredible stay thanks to Amanda's wonderful place. Check-in was seamless and there were treats waiting for us upon our arrival. Amanda thought of everything and even provided wood for the fire. The doors were challenging to lock (we are from the states) but Amanda provided instructions in the book! The cottage was only a few blocks from town and includes parking! We couldn't have been more happy with our stay and we hope to be back someday! Thank you, Amanda!

Little Gem Cottage was the perfect place to stay to explore The Cotswolds. Easy parking and a short walk to the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water. It was a sanctuary after a busy day exploring the different towns/villages. The living area was comfortable and cozy (loved the wood fire) and the kitchen had an excellent range of equipment to prepare a meal. The bedroom was gorgeous with a very comfortable mattress. The bathroom was modern and luxurious - clawfoot bath and large walk in shower. Everything was as pictured. Amanda was an excellent and welcoming host, with some delicious goodies left out for my arrival. I highly recommend.
