Light, bright and airy in a beautiful garden setting, the Studio is a beautifully renovated fully self contained and accessible apartment.
Designed to Australian accessible standards with plenty of room to move around.
Open plan with queen bed, kitchen facilities and accessible bathroom. There is also a fold out sofa bed.
Large TV, free wifi and easy parking.
There is a small courtyard with garden and mountain views and a personal fire pit for relaxing evenings. Pets are welcome.

The space

The property is uniquely located at the base of Gulaga mountain and right at the beginning of the Gulaga walking track. Surrounded by farmland and national park, the property's 4 acres of gardens and historic farm buildings create a unique setting for a special escape.

Guests are welcome to stroll around and enjoy the property.

Also located within this setting are a 1 bedroom cottage and a 2 bedroom cottage plus beautiful glamping accommodation options. The property's original Dairy has now been converted into a sunny courtyard and undercover relaxation area including lounging and BBQing facilities. As a whole, the property is perfect for group stays.

Surrounded by gardens and farmland but only a short distance to the beach and amenities.

Only 2.5km to Central Tilba, 5 minutes to our year round off leash beach and 15 minutes to Narooma and Bermagui.

We support local artists and all artwork in our cottages is for sale.

Guest access

Guests can wander and enjoy the gardens around the property and are welcome to interact with our ducks, chickens and horses.

There is plenty of room to walk your dog straight from your stay!

The Old Dairy area in the middle of the property is a beautiful sunny spot gazing at Gulaga mountain and is also available to enjoy and includes BBQ area, WiFi, lounging and relaxing spaces.

Kathryn’s property is the most beautiful spot to stay in Tilba. The studio was gorgeous, comfortable, spotlessly clean and as described. It has a gorgeous view of the mountain from the front door too. We felt right at home amongst the farm and absolutely loved the ducks, geese and chickens running around. We didn’t require the accessibility features ourselves but thought it was fantastic that it’s been so thoughtfully set up for those that do. Thank you Kathryn for a lovely quick stay, we will be back!

Mountain view farm was my favourite airbnb to date! Adored the animals and stunning valley views. Was so peaceful and a great escape from the city. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend 🫶

Such an amazing farm stay, waking up to birds, chickens and cows everyday was amazing. Easy drive to Bermagui or Narooma for restaurants and groceries. Lots of quiet beautiful beaches to choose from. Kathryn was amazing, easy to communicate with and very helpful. Highly recommend the stay, will definitely be back.

Beautiful stay! Very pretty farm, a delight to just exist at the base of a sacred mountain with the peaceful sounds of chickens and cows about. Even got to see a mother hen wandering around with her chicks. Lots of different bird life visited the chickens just outside the studio. The studio itself was mostly easy to use as a wheelchair user, and I appreciate the effort to create accessible accommodation (always the hardest part of planning a trip). Kathryn and her family were lovely and welcoming in our interactions, very helpful.

Felt like a home away from home! Our stay at Kathryn's Farm stay was excellent and we couldn't fault anything. She was very inviting and friendly, the property was well looked after and matched the photos / description and we felt right at home from the start of our stay to finish. I highly recommend this farm stay to anyone who is looking for an amazing peaceful escape to the country side! This will be at the top of our list for places to stay when we return for another visit to Tilba.

The place is absolutely gorgeous, clean and the farm itself is stunning and the owners are so beautiful. Just take note there no air-conditioner, only a ceiling fan and it's not very powerful. Also, if you love early mornings, you are in for a treat with Mr roster right outside your door step singing the song of his tribe at 4:30am till 8am. I'm not a morning person.

The studio is in a stunning position, on a very beautiful property and is very clean and cosy. The photos do not show that the accessible toilet and shower right at the end of the bed is separated by a shower curtain - not a separate bathroom, this might bother some people, but there is another more private toilet available. The roosters in the pen next to the studio woke us at dawn one morning then 3.30am the next.

Tilba Tilba is a gorgeous little village and Kathryns property reflects that. Cleverly thought out with an abundance of amenities. We stayed in the studio flat, and although I didn’t anticipate a fold out bed, it was comfortable. I would recommend Kathryn’s property.

We had a fantastic night staying in the studio at Mountain View Farm. Was a really easy stop on our way down the coast. Kathryn was so helpful and accommodating! The studio was just as described. We had an early start the next morning so the rooster and chickens were a great alarm clock… exactly what you’d expect when staying on a farm. Thanks again Kathryn.

Mountain View Farm is in a superb location. Gorgeous views but with total privacy. The Studio is totally wheelchair accessible. It's rare to find somewhere like this to stay. Kathryn is a fantastic host. Nothing was too much trouble. What really stands out is her effort to specifically accomodate those with disabilities. She has done a wonderful job! Waking to the hens and roosters was so relaxing. We'll definitely be keeping this 'home-away-from-home' at the top of our list for the future.

Beautiful location amongst the Mountains. There was an issue with double-booking that was mostly sorted out, meaning we stayed at another accommodation on the farm before being moved to the Studio. The studio had a lovely view, but the kitchen/amenities wasn’t as stocked as we would have liked.

This is a little piece of paradise! Waking up and looking out across mount Gulaga and seeing the chickens go about their daily business was lovely. Facilities at the farm are great and we loved the option of using the communal cooking and eating area or remaining at the studio. Situated right on the hiking trail, we loved the area and with central tilba and the coast so close you couldn’t want any more! Kathryn was so accomodating and friendly - can’t wait to go back!

The property itself is magical, beautifully manicured gardens and the outlook is something straight out of a magazine. Check in was quick and hassle free, which is appreciated. However, I will say if you’re a new-ish couple you’ll get to know one another very quick. There is zero privacy, with the open bathroom around a metre from the edge of the bed and no internal walls. The rooster that started crowing at 4am needs to be roasted, the skylight above the bed isn’t the best design feature. It let’s a lot of natural light in, so if you’re a light sleeper or like to sleep in on a getaway, this probably isn’t the place for you. Aside from the above, it’s a perfect quick getaway.

We had a very relaxing stay for one night at Kathryn’s studio. The studio was very clean with welcome farm noises from the neighbouring chickens! We were nice and snug in a very wet and cold night and unfortunately couldn’t try the fire pit!

Gorgeous location but a bit expensive for somewhere that doesn’t provide tea or coffee any oil etc in the the room, perhaps the cleaners forgot to fill up the supply? Wonderful to have somewhere to stay with my little poodle. Comfy bed and clean room. It’s next to the chicken yard so be happy to wake up at dawn with the roosters!

The most cutest magical cabin I’ve had the pleasure to stay in. The entire Tilba is amazing! The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the view was beyond stunning from every angle .. we also loved the chickens!! It was everything and more we thought it would be! Location was excellent beautiful grounds. Slight criticism was mattress not comfortable for us and toilet and shower open near bed, in their defence I know it is built for wheelchair access and ease of use.
