I took my client who is disabled for a holiday to NSW from Victoria, we thought we would like to stay in Tilba Tilba and explore the district. Where we stayed at Kathryns accommodation for 3 nights was such a beautiful and tranquil place, with other options for accommodation on the same property. The environment was stunning with beautiful, maintained gardens and the scenery around was amazing. We explored Tilba Central where there are amazing old-time shops and Narooma which was only 15 minutes away was another stunning place. Beautiful beaches. shops and great Cafes and Restaurants along with fresh seafoods on offer. Thank you, Kathryn we loved our stay.

We had a lovely stay at the palm cottage for Xmas. It was a lovely peaceful environment. Waking up in the morning with the beautiful morning sunshine and then the mountains was heavenly. It was so private and quiet. A great rest from the city lifestyle. We enjoyed feeding and talking the animals. The ducks and chickens were cheeky and the horses loved to investigate you. Close to Central Tilba and walks. Great meal at the local pub in Tilba and great to have a general local store down the road to have a nice coffee. We will be definitely hope to come back soon in the future! Thank you Kathryn and family for a wonderful Xmas week.

We had such a wonderful and comfortable time at Mountain Veiw Farm. It was the perfect first holiday destination for our husky puppy as the pet friendly accommodation has a escape artist proof enclosed yard. What a privilege to stay at Palm cottage nestled in the foothills of Gulaga. It is a superb location, right on the hiking trail (although admittedly, we spent more time enjoying the local cheese, wine and yoghurt than hiking!) Kathryn has taken great care to landscape the property to provide stunning gardens. Mick showed us around - our kids loved feeding the chickens and ducks, and we loved seeing the satin bowerbirds nest decked out with blue decorations. Our kids also loved the cute little bunk beds and the space to explore all the beautiful plants and animals. I can only imagine how stunning this place must look when the everlasting daisy field is in flower!!! Kathryn has put so much care in to the design of the cottage - it is beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds and artwork all around . And the views are breathtaking. We loved watching the sun rise over the misty fields each morning, with uninterrupted views. Thank you so much for your hospitality Kathryn

We had a lovely surprise Easter getaway with our 2 kids. Tilba and Mystery Bay are such special locations for the soul so we were so grateful to find accommodation in the heart of this region. Palm cottage is a quaint, comfortable cottage surrounded by stunning countryside. The enclosed yard for my puppy was the perfect size and I could watch him while enjoying breakfast or a cuppa on the deck. Mystery beach and Central Tilba are only a 5 minute drive away. There are plenty of walks available, including one that starts outside the back yard. I would highly recommend Kathryn's place if you want a peaceful weekend surrounded by nature.

Arriving at the farm was beautiful! Spectacular views and gardens all around. Cute cottage was smaller than expected. There was no bbq on the deck. Fly screens had gaps in them that let mosquitos in. First night had a shower and it was good water pressure, but during the rest of our stay they were using water for garden and lawn during the day and night and left us with a trickle.

Thanks Kathryn. Such a beautiful setting under Mt Gulaga with peaceful idyllic surroundings. To look out at wonderful views, spectacular garden and array of wildlife was a treat. The property is such a brilliant set up with visitor amenities providing a homely and warm atmosphere. To wander a few hundred metres to have crepes at La Gallette and feel like you’re in Paris and then amble in the other direction to take the picturesque walk to Mt Gulaga was amazing. Thank you. We had a great midweek stay at Mountain View Farm! The location was absolutely beautiful, super quiet and serene. It was a good base for us to explore the local area. The accomodation itself was really clean and well kept, especially considering it is pet friendly. The fenced in yard was a plus for us as we brought our dog and we were more than comfortable during our stay. We hope to re-visit sometime soon!

My girlfriend & I enjoyed our first stay in Tilba Tilba, right at the base of Mount Gulaga. The path to walk Gulaga passes right in front of the cottage. Kathryn’s cottage has everything you need to enjoy a self- catered stay with fabulous views from every window. Tilba is a short drive if you need to stock up or enjoy a meal out at Dromedary Hotel.

What a lovely place to spend your holidays. We loved it here the scenic beauty is unparalleled. Kayhryn and family was wonderful qnd made sure we had the best stay ever. And did i say pet friendly yes it was the first farm stay for our 1 year old golden retriver pup and must i say he had the best time ever. Palm cottage is exactly what i thought it would be a cute cottage perfect for a small family of 3. We also loved the walk around the farm. Romeo and saddie the farm horses were so good. We miss you aldready. We are aldready planning on our next trip back. See you soon 😊

The cottage we stayed in was called Palm Cottage. It was a very cosy and comfortable place with everything we needed. It was clean, the kitchen had all the things we needed for our three night stay and the heater was just great. The place was a warm cosy nook during the cold gloomy days of our stay. The back deck has comfortable seating overlooking the hills and the farm, a perfect spot to have snacks, drink, read and chat. The cottage is on the walking track to Mt. Galaga which worth it if you have the time and is on a working farm. I would love to visit again. Lots to do around the area. Central Tilba is a nice little town to visit, there are a lot of handmade unique items on offer.

We had such a wonderful experience staying here. It's a beautiful cottage that is cute and cozy and has everything you could possibly need, including a great heater that was very much appreciated. The view from the cottage is amazing and I very much enjoyed going for an early morning walk and enjoying the sunrise coming up over the mountain. We had our 2 small dogs with us and they loved their stay as well and the fenced in yard was fantastic! Although there are a few cottages on the property they are spaced out well and there is plenty of privacy. I would just note that their are roosters who do like an early morning crow, so just something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper. Thanks Kathryn for being so friendly and a wonderful host! We'll definitely be back.

My husband, one year old son and dog all LOVED our stay with Kathryn in Tilba. There is so much more to this accommodation than I even realised when booking. It is a spectacularly well kept property with so much to enjoy, surrounded by a sea of flowers, mountain views and ducks, chickens, horses and cows you can get right up close with both in and right next to the property. There was no bbq at our cottage as expected but the host was helpful loaning us a grill for the fire pit. Loved exploring the beaches and towns in this region.

What a magnificent location to take a load off for a few days. The cottage was comfortable with all the mod cons and constantly being refreshed by a non stop breeze which made everything feel so fresh and airy. Even in the height of summer and the sizzling heat all around, it never once felt hot or uncomfortable in the cottage or on the deck. I can only imagine what winter would be like with the firepit burning! The night offers a blackness and a canvas of stars you will never find in the city, not to mention the peace and serenity. Definitely the place to unwind from a claustrophobic city. Kathryn was a pleasure to deal with and was very gracious and kind in dealing with all my requests.

Great location above the tiny town of Tilba with beautifully maintained gardens and fantastic views over the surrounding hills. We stayed for 3 nights as a family of four at a cost of c$320pn including Airbnb charges etc. We loved the location, however, with challenged water pressure (plenty of warning provided in the compendium and Kathryn checks-in regularly), being pet friendly and not having travelled with pets (we relocated the living room rug outside for the duration of our stay and politely ignored the collection of doggy bags left under the BBQ), on reflection we thought Palm Cottage was a little overpriced - demand and supply I guess.

I had a wonderful week at Palm Cottage hanging out around the farm and exploring the area. The cottage is comfortable, sparkling clean and the kitchen is really well equipped... I felt immediately at home here. The views are spectacular and it’s tempting to just spend all day on the private deck soaking in the goodness. Venturing out I found pristine beaches, cute villages and a great local community vibe. Kathryn is a lovely and welcoming host, I highly recommend Mountain View Farm for your stay on the Sapphire Coast.

Mountain View Farm is stunning. Beautiful grounds with lots of flowers and birds set in lush green rolling hills and farm land. We enjoyed just walking around the gardens and farm trails, and having BBQs on the deck. It is perfectly located between Narooma (where we went snorkelling with the seals) and Bermagui where we did some coast walks (Jaggers Beach is stunning, about 5 minutes walk from the road). Mystery Bay is a great local beach about 5 minutes drive away, and the cheese factory is great (the Passionfruit Butter is amazing). The place is very dog friendly, and out dog loved the stay as much as we did.

We loved staying at Palm View Cottage with our two kids and puppy, who all instantly found play mates with Kathryn’s kids and farm dog Sandy. We enjoyed the amazing views, farm animals, common areas in the old dairy, nearby walking tracks and visiting Tilba and the beach. The cottage was very neat and comfortable with all the amenities we needed including a BBQ and deck to enjoy the view. We plan to return soon.

The farm is conveniently located to Central Tilba and Burmagui. Kathryn and family were wonderful and accommodating. If you are after an honest country experience, this is a good place for a relaxing weekend. If you expect 5 star accommodation this is not for you.

Our cabin was nestled in the hills of Tilba Tilba within view of the local mountain. Fresh eggs and everlasting daisies were available to buy. The rooms were spotless and being north facing it was pretty warm inside plus enough heaters were available to top up the temp. Kathryn is a great host. You’ll find chickens, ducks and horses on the farm and gorgeous resident dog. It’s only 2.5km from Central Tilba. A beautiful little town with lots of interesting shops. We’ll definitely be back.

Nice stop off and a farm stay. The kids loved seeing the cows and chickens and playing with the local children. Personally, I found the cows very noisy in the pen next to the cottage, but 2nd night was much better. We would recommend if you are looking for a pretty farm stay :)

Such a lovely, cozy place with gorgeous views and natural light. We loved sitting on the balcony gazing at the stars at night or taking in the great view of Dromedary Mountain and sunshine in the day. Easy to get to and close to central Tilba. Kath was welcoming and easy to reach and communicate with.

From waking up looking over the valley to enjoying a drink under the stars, the cabin at Mountain View Lodge provided a great way to experience Tilba Tilba. Kathryn and her family were great hosts, providing plenty of local tips to help make the stay memorable. The cabin, which was once home to cheese production, is well presented with lots of local art. Looking forward to coming back.

Kathryn and her family are warm and welcoming hosts. It was a tidy, comfortable cottage in a gorgeous location. Her gardens are shady and leafy with friendly farm animals such as a mother duck and duckling wandering around free ranging. A three minute walk gets you to a lovely French cafe if you feel like a coffee out and the rolling emerald green hills covered with contented cows provide an idyllic view from every window. Highly recommend a visit to Kathryn's accommodation.

We had a magical holiday. The views, land and surrounding gardens are magnificent - the view of Mt Gulaga is majestic. Fantastic local walks are very close by and amazing beaches are only a short drive away. The cottage is close to Central Tilba with all its quirky shops (cheese and chocolate shops especially worth visiting) and a French cafe is in walking distance to the cottage (great coffee and French toast). The cottage is perfect for families wanting a private getaway, well stocked and catered for every family need - but also very stylish! Our kids could run around the enclosed garden while we soaked up the serene views and loved visiting the spacious gardens surrounding the property. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming and full of local knowledge. Will definitely plan another holiday here soon!

5/5 Stay! We highly recommend staying at Mountain View Farm. Palm Cottage was a great little central place for us to explore the South-Coast. The cottage has a great vibe. Everything was as described, but the surrounds only add to its charm. With plenty of wildlife, this working farm with chickens, ducks and horses has a personality all its own. Along with Kathryn's famous field of daisies the rolling pasture land and grazing cattle on the foothills of Mount Gulaga/Dromedary add to the scenic vista as you relax on the back porch. Our well travelled cat came along with us - and the cottage has flyscreens so - it was a great place for the cat to find a comfortable spot to snuggle in or catch the rising sun as the roosters sang out to herald the start of another relaxing day. Kathryn is a brilliant host who is happy to go with your vibe - leave you to your own for some peace and quiet to recharge or stop for a chat to let you know what attractions are currently on in the area. In all what type of stay you want is exactly what you'll get. Looking forward to our next stay.

Palm cottage is in a magic spot, the cottage is cosy and well-equipped and even on chilly mornings in August we basked in the sunshine on the new back deck. Local beaches are beautiful and Kathryn knows them all well. We loved being able to feed the ducks with our 3-y-o. It’s a very safe and well-contained place for kids and dogs.

This place is amazing!! Close to central Tilba and right next to Fox Squire gardens. Could have spent the whole time just hanging out around the cottage and farm enjoying a platter of local cheeses and other delicacies. We have 2 large dogs and they loved their stay too. It is one of the few places we have found with a secure yard and allowing the dogs inside as well. Lovely hostess, Kathryn really added to the experience and has created a beautiful atmosphere at the farm with views all round, awesome private and common amenities (perfect for groups) and everything u need and more covered

The cottage is beautiful and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and sheets and pillows were superb. The heating was also amazing and worked very fast. The farm was beautiful and Tilba is lovely. Big mount Dromedary is just behind the farm and a beautiful walk to and even over. There was a bit of construction work on though which was a bit noisy but other than that our stay was amazing, thank you Kathryn!

Kathryn’s place is set in a lovely mountain valley, with a perfect view. You can see the gorgeous countryside through the windows and from the back porch, which is a great place to enjoy a book and a hot drink. My Mom and I were looking to have a relaxing weekend away from the city and explore a new area. This was the perfect retreat and fit this description. The cottage is fully equipped, quiet and comfortable. The property is located very close to small towns, nice drives, good restaurants/cafes, the waters’ edge etc, so there are lots of things to do to keep busy, no matter what you’re looking for. The small historic street of Central Tilba itself is very quaint with good local shopping. Kathryn was very helpful in making sure we arrived and settled in easily and she offered lots of great suggestions for places to visit in the area. She was easily contactable and available when necessary to help answer our questions. My Mom and I would definitely return to stay here again, if we are in this area in the future. We highly recommend Kathryn’s place.

This place provides a perfect space for those seeking time out from high speed city life or equally, those who have never been a part of it. Clean air, space and beautiful views, nestled at the base of the stunning mountain Gulaga makes this a wonderful holiday location. My wife, 6 week old son, dog and I had a fantastic two nights at Tilba Tilba. Kathryn was very welcoming considering we arrived at 8pm which was really appreciated. This property is absolutely beautiful and we loved waking up to views of the paddock and mountain in the backdrop. We also really enjoyed going for walks with our bub and dog all through the property. Location is fantastic with a short drive to Central Tilba for you cafe needs as well as a locals beach around 5 minutes away. Would come back here for sure.

Our family of four really loved our stay. The cottage was excellent. It has everything you need. Our hosts were lovely and the view of the mountains was exceptional. Will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends. Normally we camp at Mystery bay (about 5 mins away), but after staying in these cottages I think our camping days are finished.

A fantastic little cottage with all the amenities you need. The location is perfect - far enough away from everything to feel like you’re in your own world, but close enough to the beach and other little towns for activities during the day. The landscape is beautiful, and it is right at the foot of Mount Gulaga - if you feel like going for a walk. Kathryn is a great host, and I would highly recommend a stay with her.

This little two bedroom cottage on a farm is a gem. Clean, uncluttered & all the amenities one would want to enjoy a relaxed stay. With stunning views of the countryside, great walking track on the property plus chickens, ducks, horses & a friendly pet dog made me forget the madness of city life. The morning sun streaming into the living room after a restful night just made my day. Great location with only a short drive to other towns to explore what this area has to offer. My family and I had a wonderful weekend at Mountain View, warmly welcomed by Kathryn, Stella and Marcus. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable, with a beautiful view from the windows over Guluga and Tilba Tilba. We all really appreciated Kathryn's flexibility as we had a last minute change in number of people. The chooks, horses, and swing rated highly for the preschooler, and the adults loved the proximity to Tilba Tilba, Central Tilba and Narooma. We would definitely stay here again, and I'm looking forward to coming back to say hello and explore the walking tracks in the area.

The cottage is comfortable, in a lovely setting on a farm at the base of the mountains and easily accessible. The view is beautiful. Furniture/beds are comfortable, kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils. There is a great range of DVDs. Host and kids are very friendly and this is a lovely holiday destination for families or for couples.

Lunch next to the creek under a large shady tree followed by splashing in the pristine water, feeding the chooks rabbits and horses, sitting under the large tree outside reading our books as our children played happily with Kathryns gorgeous children and enjoying the full moon over magical Gulaga were only a few of our highlights. The stay at Tilba Tilba was the highlight of our visit to Australia. We arrived in the evening of 26th. Kathryn was in touch with us from the previous day and sent us accurate directions to her place. Since she was not at home when we arrived , she made sure the cottage was kept unlocked for us. The cottage is lovely with a nice sit out area and backyard. The view is simply spectacular. The house has a well equipped kitchen and also has a large collection of movie DVDs. Kathryn's kids Stella and Marcus are great hosts, they connected with my 5 yr Daughter instantly and even invited her for a sleepover ( LOL!). Their pet dog Bonnie is adorable. Kath was kind enough to give us farm fresh duck and chicken eggs for breakfast. Tilba is a charming little village and makes me want to go back sometime in the future. I highly recommend Kathryn's place and recommend at least 3 days in this peaceful village. Cheers! Nikhil

We had a lovely time staying at this little cottage in Tilba Tilba as part of our mini-honeymoon. It was perfect as there was only phone reception in certain parts of the cottage which allowed us to go off the grid and spend time together enjoying each other's company :-) The cottage provides all you need for a relaxed, cosy experience with gas cooking, well stocked pots and pans and also a nice DVD collection for people who prefer to relax. It also has a washing machine which is perfect for the longer duration stays. The cottage is located in an easy to find location close to Central Tilba and about a 15 minute drive from Narooma where you will need to get any foodstuffs/take outs etc. Jo was an excellent and friendly host and let us enjoy the quiet, peaceful scenery by ourselves. It is truly a beautiful part of the world, you can't help but feel happy being there. We were out and about every day that we stayed at Jo's, we spent a lot of time at the ABC Cheese factory, had dinner at the Dromedary Hotel and lunch at the Tilba Teapot in Central Tilba. We even went for a walk up the Tilba Tilba walking track (right behind Jo's cottage) and worked off all the cheese and wine we've been consuming. I cannot recommend staying here enough, we will certainly be back in the years to come!!

Mountain View Farm is located in beautiful historic Tilba Tilba. Only 10 minutes to the beaches of Mystery Bay, and close to historic towns and the shopping centre of Narooma, this is the perfect family get away complete with chickens, cows and countryside.
