We absolutely loved our stay! The bath and fire pit was amazing and just what we needed for our relaxing stay. Cottage was so peaceful clean and welcoming, bed was very comfortable warm and cosy, we loved waking up and looking at the beautiful view into the mountain ranges. We will definitely be coming back.

Gorgeous Outlook from the verandah and the windows, we left the blinds open to wake with the sun 🌞 I loved the size of the thick and soft bath towels. My wife and I both love our stay here. It was a really relaxing night to a very busy road trip. We couldn’t find the place at first but Kathryn picked up the phone as soon as we call and her daughter was right there to show us in. The view in the morning is breathtaking, never have I woken up to better view. A shame that we didn’t get to stay longer and complete the walking track.

Second time we have stayed at the Dophin and it was just as we remembered it. So peaceful and cozy, with lovely hosts Kathryn, Marcus and friends Liz! We had our two year old this time and our dog and we loved walking around the property, hanging out with the ducks, the Tilba Tilba markets and Mystery Beach! A really lovely stay, thanks Kathryn 💗

Due to the surrounding location, flies may fly to visitors, but this is possible considering the surrounding environment.

The house is very dilapidated and in very poor condition.Where the doors and windows are broken, mosquitoes fly in.There were bugs all over the bed that would bite, and I couldn't sleep at night.

We took our small well trained puppy for a road trip to Tilba Tilba and needed a dog friendly place to stay for a few days and were lucky enough to find this great location as the small backyard was fenced really well and we could safely let our little puppy run around. It was a really great stay.

Lovely cozy cottage with ample amenities, and the heater worked great (we were here in the thick of winter). Lots of cows and chickens and a few horses at our backyard. With no light pollution in the surroundings, we were able to see the entire milky way and it was mesmerising. The place was a little hard to get to because we reached after dark and it was pitch black, but we figured it out eventually. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Such a beautiful location and perfect for a holiday with our dogs. We loved the Dolphin cottage with its glorious outdoor bath and the view from the veranda is breathtaking. Waking to the sound of cows and ducks was simply delightful. Not having wifi meant we played games, read and talked at night (and bathed under the stars!). Everyone we met in Tilba Tilba were kind and helpful- a truly special place to visit. Thank you!

We only had 1 night to stay but would have been happy to stay longer if we had the time. The outdoor bath and mountain views were magnificent - I just wish you could see the mountains from the outdoor bath! We didn't really make use of the kitchen but it seemed to be all well set up for actual cooking, not just heating up.

The Dolphin cottage was lovely, with a beautiful view. A hot outdoor bath was a big surprise and such a nice idea. We liked the separate laundry/bathroom for the dog to sleep and yard. Kitchen had everything and plenty of linen. I wish we could have stayed longer. The gas heater was a bit hard to use and not child-friendly so the cottage would suit all travellers without small children.

Location and gardens were spectacular. As promised, cottage and yard was super private. Close to Central Tilba, nearby beaches and Narooma not far. Very clean space. Kitchen and amenities were pretty standard, nothing fancy, plus couch and bed were quite uncomfortable. But outdoor bath was nice and there were plenty of nice towels, bedding and linen available.

Dolphin Cottage is delightful, spotless, comfortable and very relaxing. It had everything you need for a blissful holiday. The view from the verandah was just beautiful and also quite magical. You could sit out there all day and marvel at the beauty surrounding you. Also loved the farm animals and the opportunity for hiking. You are also only a five minute drive from the charming Central Tilba village with its cafes, shops and the dairy. Kathryn was very warm, friendly and helpful and a great communicator. Mountain View Farm is in a stunning location and Dolphin Cottage is cosy and homely. It could do with a little maintenance but is comfortable nonetheless and the fact it hasn’t been modernised is arguably part of its charm. The forced “digital detox” may not be everyone’s cup of tea once the novelty wears off. But overall it is ideal as a place to truly escape; Tilba Tilba is a delightful hamlet.

I have found my bliss, a true peace of heaven, where Kathryn and her gorgeous farm at the base of Guluga was exactly what I needed to restore and reenergise. The sofa and bed are so uncomfortable. Barely got through a movie. Hardly slept. Every thing else was amazing. Location, view, tranquillity and cleanliness was perfect. The horses, cows, ducks and tranquil running stream were a nice touch. Be sure to take an apple or two the horses love them. Positives out weigh the negatives. We would stay again when back in Tilba Tilba.

Dolphin cottage is an oasis of peace, surrounded by nature, conveniently located a short walk from a gorgeous little cafe/creperie! Don't come with a to do list, unless that list is to just sit, and be. We sat and read on the verandah and enjoyed our morning coffees with the ducks and horses and the sound of the creek. An absolute must if you are needing some disconnected time. The outdoor bath is a cute bonus too! I am torn between telling everyone I know to go, or just coming back myself! Thankyou Kathryn for being such an accommodating host, and for allowing us to share in your beautiful space.

We were very privileged to have spent a couple of days in this beautiful corner of the world. Kathryn's farm is well located in Tilba Tilba and very easy to find with her clear instructions. The cottage has stunning views overlooking the hills and the cattle field. The dogs also had a great time visiting the resident cows and horses. The cottage is otherwise clean, private and comfortable. Kathryn certainly has put a lot of effort in making sure that the guests would have all the necessities. Thank you Kathryn for having us!

Cosy country cottage within a beautiful town!! My friend and I really enjoyed our stay with Kathryn. Waking up every morning to a beautiful view outside was so refreshing. There is also a little stream running through at the back which you can hear that was very calming. The animals were very adorable, and Romeo was thee sweetest horse! 😍 The people in the town were very kind and friendly. There is also a very cute, authentic, French cafe to the left before you turn into the cottage. Definitely will be coming back here to have another stay!

Kathryn’s farm is in the most beautiful location! The garden and surrounds are lovely to stroll around and Tilba is only a few minutes drive away. The cottage is as described and pictured with a large bathroom/laundry. The yard could not be more secure and dog friendly. We can’t wait to return!!

The views from this place are amazing! My husband and I had such a peaceful weekend amongst the rolling hills and sounds of nature. There are a few things that could be improved in this older cabin for a more comfortable stay, but really the best part is the location and view. Sadly we weren't able to fully enjoy the outdoor bath as the hot water kept running out. The host did get a plumber in to check it out, but as it's an older system there wasn't much that could be done. Hopefully it gets replaced in future so we can come back as I'd definitely love to give this place another go or maybe try glamping next time.

We stayed for two nights & it was absolutely idyllic. Perfect yard for our puppy & much welcome digital detox. Gorgeous views & close to everything but far enough away to feel secluded. Kathryn is a welcoming & responsive host. We arrived late & the cabin was a little bit tricky to find in the dark but it all worked out. Would stay again!

Perfect location for a country and coastal getaway. Going to sleep listening to the creek run and the sound of the ducks was very peaceful and relaxing. The candles were a nice touch and the outdoor bath was welcomed. Whilst it is perfect for a digital detox, if needed, was able to get Optus reception on the veranda out the back. The washing machine was handy.

The view 😱 We wanted something special, private and mosy importantly a good view for our weekend away. It was spectacular! Be warned there is no internet reception inside the cottage, but that was exactly the type of privacy and stay we were looking for. :) fear not, you can access it from the property elsewhere just not inside. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with anything you might need to cook for yourself. Highly recommended! Thanks Kathryn!

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location overlooking the mountain. The gardens are gorgeous and we enjoyed our evenings sitting on the deck listening to the ducks and cows. The bath and outdoor fire are awesome. Loved staying here and will definitely be back!

This place is truly special!! My pups and I had the best time and didn’t wanna leave. We felt instantly at home which is always so reassuring. Rolling green hills with that rustic stylish farm feel. An amazing quiet and relaxing place. As described and shown in pics. The view is amazing and so relaxing. Love the out door bath! This place is great value, unpretentious and perfect to unwind for few days. Great position too. Tilba central is a lovely little town, easy to spend a few hours wandering around. The coast is rugged and wild but perfect to escape from busy Sydney life! I have honestly never seen so many stars in the sky as you can from the deck here. Certainly hope to escape to here again 👍🏽

Amazing place, can highly recommend. The place is just so peaceful and tranquil, where you can just relax and find the harmony with nature around. The view to the mountain and hills seems to be out of this world. The cottage has everything so you just feel as staying in and enjoying the view and sunset. The location is also great, just a short trip to Central Tilba, different beaches, Narooma and Bermagui. The place is very clean, and super safe for pets as it has secured fence/net around it. Checking-in was really easy and Kathryn is very friendly and nice. We spent 3 night there and I was really sad to leave, would like to stay the way longer. Hope to be back one day.

Dolphin Cottage offers the perfect retreat to reset and connect with nature. We knew based on the photos the surroundings would be picturesque, but the stunning views exceeded our expectations. The cottage is extremely cosy and self-sustained, making it ideal for dining in and soaking up the breathtaking scenery from the balcony. The farm also boats numerous animals, including geese, chickens, horses, and cows, which can be observed grazing as you stroll through the property. We absolutely loved this place, and would highly recommend it to others.

A cute little cabin with an outstanding view. Secure yard for our dog and lovely cabin with seperate bedroom, living area, and spacious bathroom and laundry. While most of the accommodation on the farm seemed full, the topography means the cabin feels quiet and secluded. The walk out the back up the mountain is well worthwhile and the nearby cafe La Galette is excellent.

Fantastic place to escape the hustle and bustle of work. Sit back and enjoy the quiet, walk the countryside or explore the nearby towns (particularly Tilba which has some quirky shops and great food). This is also a great place to tech detox (limited wifi in the cabin) so make the most of your playlist or books you’ve been meaning to catch up on (if you forget to bring some there are a few in the cabin to keep you busy). A perfect romantic getaway or nice place to take the family.

Absolute bliss! This cottage is absolutely perfect for a holiday away, the view is spectacular - overlooking rolling green hills, cows and a gorgeous creek. The cottage is perfectly set up - with everything you need. Lots of utensils and perfectly equipped kitchen, spacious laundry and bathroom, great bedroom and lounge area all with stunning views of the property. It's super close to the town of Tilba Tilba - so great if you want to explore the local town and around 20 minutes from the beach at Narooma. The home is extremely secure and perfect for pets, we took our new puppy Oscar with him - and felt completely comfortable leaving him in the enclosed fenced yard - heaps of room for him to explore and play too! Additionally, Kathryn and her beautiful family made us, and our new puppy Oscar feel so welcome. We cannot wait to come back here - highly recommended.

If you are looking for a quite, romantic weekend getaway; this is the place to stay! Such a beautiful location, perched on top of a spectacular view of the surrounding hills and countryside. The outdoor bath and shower is lovely, especially at night making for the perfect end to a day, under the stars with the camp fire going. Kathryn and her family are especially kind and warm. She is the perfect host with lots of tips and great chat! This really is a special little place with lots to do in the surrounding areas of Tilba and Narooma. It was our first time to Tilba and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s place. The view was just stunning. It’s located along the Guluga walking track with the famous La Galette creperie, Tilba Historic Town and the Dromedary Hotel close by. The cottage is really clean and the outdoor bath/shower and the fireplaces added a special touch. We were glad we could book this place as it’s a rare find.

Photos don’t remotely do this place justice. The views are just stunning and the cottage is charming. Loved the outdoor bath! The property may be a working farm but at least one family member is a very talented and committed gardener and the grounds are just beautiful. If you love tranquility only interrupted by the sounds of birds, cows, crickets and frogs this place is for you. I wanted to move in permanently and will definitely be back.

We spent a wonderful two weeks at Mountain View Farm. The location is beautiful set amongst the rolling hills and waking up each morning to Mt Gulaga bathed in red light was a highlight. The cottage is warm and comfortable and equiped with the basic necessities for our stay. For our longer stay the washing machine was a bonus! The balcony was great for a late afternoon relax. Kathryn is an excellent host,very warm and easy to communicate with. She provided us with great tips for the best places to walk. We used the cottage as a base to explore all the beautiful coastal walks close by. Mystery Bay is a must! We enjoyed our occasional chats with young Marcus and visits from Sandy the dog but the cottage offered perfect privacy for a quiet relaxing holiday. If you are looking for an IT , tv detox Dolphin cottage is ideal although reception is very close by if needed and there are plenty of DVDs We will certainly be returning to the farm in the future.

The short drive to Mystery Bay was perfect for the dog to burn off some energy. Check out the winery down the road as well! The farm is quiet, with stunning views over the hills and fields, and the cottage equipped with everything needed. There is so much to explore in the surrounding towns, from the beautiful French cafe at the end of the drive, to the varied views of the Pacific Ocean and rivers and lakes. No TV reception, take some DVDs although Kathryn has a good range there, and enjoy being off line for a while! We took our elderly dog along and she just had so much fun walking around with us, it really is an exceptional place.

The location is perfect, right near the base of the mountains and along a walking track that can take you up to the top of one of them. The primary sounds you'll hear are of the various birds, ducks, chickens, horses, and cows. It's in a perfect spot for relaxing and absorbing nature. As mentioned in the description, mobile reception is mostly not there, so it's a great way to cut out the phone. It's a quick jump back onto the highway to see other places nearby. Central Tilba, just down the road, is also a beautiful place to visit. It's 10ish minutes from some great beaches as well. For me the big draw was the mountains and forest though, and they were amazing. The Dolphin Cottage is a great small cottage that worked perfectly for me and my dog (greyhound). The yard was enclosed so my dog could go out the back, but often I'd let her out the front where there is heaps of room to run around and sniff and not get in anyone's way. The views you get, particularly out the back, are breathtaking. The cottage is nearby, but not next to, anything else, and is very private. Overall this trip was amazing, and I can't wait to come back and visit again for longer. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. Could not have asked for a more picturesque and peaceful place! Kathryn was a fantastic host who spoilt us on arrival. The cottage had everything we needed. We loved watching and listening to the ducks and cows on our verandah. The view is breathtaking and you will loose hours just taking in the mountain and the rolling green hills. Dolphin cottage was the best country holiday we have ever had. it's at one end of Tilba Tilba ( which is a tiny town) and is surrounded by lush green rolling hills then Gulaga (mt dromedary). we went in autumn and I expected Tilba Tilba to be a bit dry but it was green as ever and breathtaking. it is also a really short drive to the beach. Kathryns place was a beautiful small cottage, it was super clean. I woke up in bed each morning looking out the window at the mountain with the sound of a little creek gurgling nearby. I would recommend anyone wanting a relaxing change to visit, the photos don't do it justice you have to see it to believe it!

Highly Recommended!! Me and my hubby spent 2 nights here for our Anniversary. We woke up so early each morning to see Mt. Dromadery lit up by the sun. The view here is spectacular! Kathryn has been very helpful and provided all we needed. Our cottage was already warmed up by the time we got there and we really appreciate this kind gesture. Also, they offered us a breakfast hamper for a very reasonable price, it has locally produced products and we love every single one of them. What a perfect way to experience living like a local even just for a short while! 😊

Kathryn is an ideal host who knows how to make you feel welcome whilst leaving you to privately enjoy the beauty of her property. We only stayed overnight as this was an unplanned stop, but we would have loved to stay longer to revisit favourite sites nearby (as well as spending more time at Kathryn’s beautiful place). Kathryn’s cottage was very comfortable and convenient, we had all we needed and more. Her recommendation to visit the new owners at the old general store (now a cafe run by a French couple) was great. Try the French onion soup - it’s delicious and great value.

A beautiful pocket of the world, super comfortable, amazing beautiful views right at the foot of Galaga! We had a gorgeous visit from their adorable puppy at breakfast time too. Really nice stay.

The view is sensational and the setting very peaceful. We slept well and loved waking up to the lovely view and a cup of tea on the deck. The location is right at the start of the Mt Gulaga walk, so that was wonderful being able to walk straight home after a hike.

Wonderful little place to get away from it all! If you are looking for peace and quiet and like farm environments you must come here! Very poor phone/internet reception (its best on the porch) and no tv reception means you can really switch off. Kathryn and her family are close by if needed but you feel a world away from anything and it gets dark and quiet at night. Our 4 days here felt like 2 weeks! Kitchen fairly well equipped if you want to eat in - oven, microwave, stove, full size fridge and pots and pans etc. There are dogs, ducks and a couple of horses so this place isn't for you if you don't like animals and need wifi. Gulaga mountain is next to the property so you can do the 5 hour hike if you are fit (we didn't make it all the way to the top!). A quick drive to Central Tilba and Bermagui and Narooma are only 15-20 minutes away.

Getting away from Sydney for a bit and spending 2 nights at Kathryn Farm Cottage was a real treat.The cottage overlooked Tilba Valley where from the verandah we watched horses and some cattle grazing, ducks doing what ducks do and Mount Dromedary as backdrop. The space was clean and well equipped and Kathryn was a fabulous host.It can not get better and we will come again.

Kathryn’s place was absolutely lovely! We loved being on a farm and waking up with animals outside our windows. She had everything we needed, and her directions and check-in process were easy. I wish we had more time to explore the town and surrounding area. Beautiful views from the front porch make up for no Wi-Fi/TV!

The view of the surrounding hills and mountain is just beautiful, very clean and homely with everything we needed to be comfortable. It was very private and quiet which we loved and the surrounding areas are beautiful with great little shops and places to eat as well as being really close to the coast. All in all we had a great stay and hope to be back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay with Kathryn - we didn't see her much as she was out and about (and the properties are quite separate) but we had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to a beautiful deck with a view over the hills. Overall a very relaxing stay, and one we'd love to come back to next time we're passing through.

This place is such an oasis-the perfect place to chill out yet be right near the beautiful village of central tilba (you still need a car). We had our 1 year old dog with us and the yard was perfect. Comfortable bed and lounge area, but the deck with the view was the best.

Absolutely stunning! Such an amazing getaway. The location takes your breath away. There is so much to see and do including hiking mountains and visiting the beautiful beaches. The cottage was also the perfect place to sit back, relax and take in the serenity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the not too distant future!

The cottage proved to be the perfect little spot for my partner and I to enjoy in some rest and relaxation. The scenic views from the back deck of the misty mountains and rolling green slopes were nothing short of breathtaking. The cottage is located close to Central Tilba and only a short drive to the surrounding beaches. I highly recommend this spot for couples looking to get away from the buzz of city life. Pack a board game, read a book, switch off your phone and enjoy.

Dolphin cottage is set in such beautiful scenery, the outlook is stunning and we very much enjoyed sitting and eating breakfast on the veranda in the morning whilst enjoying the view. The cottage was sparkling clean and well presented. We very much loved our stay.

We loved our stay at Mountain View. Kathryn and her 2 kids were wonderful hosts. 4 year old Marcus even helped us pack the car! The cottage is very pretty and the view from the porch is breathtaking. The local pub is great with constant entertainment from the locals. Kathryn guided us to stunning local beaches and the fresh seafood we cooked at home was first class. We would not hesitate to recommend Mountain View to anyone looking for a wonderful escape

We would give Kathryn and her place on the farm more than 5 stars if we could. It has been a highlight of our entire holiday in Australia! Kathryn and her kids are kind and caring, offering incredible hospitality and great recommendations on what to do and see. The farm cottage itself is set among the rolling green hills of Tilba, with amazing views all around. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the quiet. In the morning, we took the walking track up the farm, as recommended by Kathryn - it was so beautiful! Thank you Kathryn for everything, we wish we could have stayed longer!

An idyllic place to spend the last few days of 2017 and welcome in the new year. Far exceeded our expectations. Day to day concerns just melted away one we arrived. Waking up to those glorious views each morning will be forever etched in my memory. Peace. Serenity. A tonic for the soul. Central to everything we wanted and needed for our trip. Very close proximity to Tilba township as well as a very short drive to the beaches at Mystery Bay and Camel Rock. We swam. We fished. We walked (Gulaga Mountain). We enjoyed the slower, more gentle pace of life. Nearby Gulaga mountain is special indeed. Hard not to be moved by its majesty and changing 'moods'. The walk up the mountain is a must. Kathryn, and her children , Stella and Marcus, are the perfect hosts. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being accomodating of our special requests. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. My husband and I have travelled extensively and stayed in a lot of different places. I always ponder when I leave a place , would I like to return one day? Without a doubt! In a heart beat!

Kathryn's place is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Her cottage is nestled in the foot of the mountain and the stars are bright! It is quiet but a short drive will take you to nearby Tilba with its quaint shops and cheese factory. Narooma and Mystery Bay are also just a short drive away. Would recommend to solo travellers or couples.

We really enjoyed our couple of days in Tilba Tilba. From the minute we drove through the gates and saw the views we knew we were going to love our time there.The Cottage was comfortable and nicely decorated and the kitchen provided everything we needed. Tilba central has interesting and varied shops and Mystery Bay was a great swimming spot.

If your planning a trip to Tilba Tilba, stay here! Honestly, one of the most beautiful b&b’s I’ve ever been in! It’s right at the base of an awesome hiking trail (literally). Highly recommend. Check out the stars at night as the spot is super secluded.

This is a fantastic place to stay in such a beautiful setting. From the moment you arrive you feel yourself relax. The balcony has a wonderful view of the Tilba Mountains and is a lovely place to sit and have a glass of wine. Also a really great place to stay if you have a dog as there's a secure fence around the cottage and plenty of room for them to dash about in Kathryn's beautiful garden. I thoroughly recommend!

Kathryns little cottage is in a stunning location surrounded by beautiful mountains! Contact with her was easy and quick and she, as well as her kids, made us feel very welcome from the second we got there. Kathryn was very helpful, when we needed some assistance with our laundry and her kids showed us around the property and introduced us to all their animals. Just a lovely experience.

The moment you drive into this beautiful part of the world , the relaxation starts... nestled into the base of the mountain, this little oasis with beautiful gardens and rolling hills , starts to slow your heart rate and let your mind wander.. Kathryn and her amazing family provide all the warmth and local knowledge you will ever need.. and the locality to the coast makes it a perfect place to escape and renew yourself.... we were spoilt in so many ways... including farm fresh duck eggs which make an incredible pavlova... Dolphin Cottage at Kathryn's place is a self-contained, one bedroom cottage overlooking a creek in the foothills of Mount Dromedary. Although the cottage is close to the main farm house and out-buildings, all the views from the cottage face towards the rolling hills and paddocks giving a sense of rural peace and tranquillity. The sunrises on Mount Dromedary are something to remember! The cottage has all the facilities one would expect and it's location makes it a perfect base for local walking trips or visits to local towns such as Narooma or Bermagui. The whole area offers plenty for the more environmentally conscious visitor to do or see.

Central Tilba is a great little spot to explore, and if we had more time a hike up Mount Dromedary would have been a great way to burn off any excess energy. A beautiful little cottage surrounded by the most spectacular views. The most gracious and respectful host, Kathryn provides such a warm home with all the little things you could need for a get away. Fabulously peaceful. Beautiful views across farmland towards Gulaga, stars at night and bird calls in the morning. This delightful cottage is costly and sweet - perfect getaway - clean and welcoming. Short walk tonPam's Corner Shop Tilba Tilba for breakfast and a chat with local Cliff who has plenty of knowledge about the area. We enjoyed visiting Apma Creations Art Gallery & Gift Shop in Central Tilba and swimming at Bermagui. Fabulous location for the most memorable stay. Thank you Kathryn at Dolphin Cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at Dolphin Cottage with our two chihuahuas. The view of Mt Dromedary, the little creek, and abundant wildlife was a real treat. Our holiday was 'enforced' by the lack of phone reception... lucky there was a small collection of books to choose from! We will definitely be back.

This is a very cute cottage with all facilities imaginable. We arrived in a violent thunderstorm so can also vouch for its waterproofing. The lovely gardens plus attractive horse were a delight. Sitting on the verandah you look up to the mountain which is a magnificent sight. Kathryn is a caring host.
