Richard is a great host. We received clear instructions before and during our stay. Location of the apartment was also great. Great pubs and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Also there are plenty of underground and bus stations close by, which makes it very easy to get around in the city and visit the famous sights. Apartment was clean and cosy and therefore it really makes you feel at home. Although we mostly ate at the local restaurants, there is plenty of kitchen equipment to cook something yourself. Bedrooms were cosy as well. The mattresses were past there prime however. Nonetheless I would recommend this apartment and host to anyone staying in London for a short or longer period of time!

We stayed in Richard's apartment on Halloween weekend, me, my wife, my daughter and a friend of hers. The weekend was perfect. The apartment is a typical London apartment exactly as we were looking for, on two floors with a backyard, in a strategic area to move north of London (Cadment Town and NotthingHill) or south and the centre of London. Everything is easily accessible by public transport just a few steps from the house. There are very entertaining pubs and places to have breakfast or a mini-market for shopping nearby. The inner courtyard is very nice with a beautiful atmosphere and it was a pleasure in the morning to look out and have coffee before the day in the city. The apartment was very clean in all the rooms: bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms. We immediately felt welcomed as if we had been there several times before. Finally, Richard is a very present host, always available proactively, you know you can count on him in case of need.

The apartment was spotless, private, and in the beautiful neighborhood of Islington. You are close to great restaurants, pubs, bakeries, and a 5-minute walk to the Angel tube stop and shopping. Richard was a true professional who was always available and responsive if I had any questions. Easy check-in and check-out with clear instructions. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed at Richard's place for a week during our moving process, with my wife, mother and brother. This place was really for us. It's in a great location, very central part of London. Everything is in reach. It is also very quiet. It has a cheerful backyard that you can enjoy your coffee during the day. Kitchen has all the appliances. Almost every day we cooked at home. We felt comfortable like at home during our stay. Definitely recommended!

Richard's flat was a great home base for all our London exploring. The biggest "pro" is the surrounding Angel neighborhood which is as charming as it is convenient. Another pro is the flat's ample space. Both bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was cleverly organized, and the living room window offered great people watching. Be aware that the flat is two stories (you enter via the basement). We had no issues with this setup but I can see it being a problem for anyone with mobility issues. The flat also has no AC which I doubt is an issue 50 weeks out of the year but it did make for a couple uncomfortable nights as we were "lucky" to catch the rare London heatwave. Richard did provide fans, which helped. Mattresses are super thin (especially the one nearest the entryway). I can basically sleep anywhere but given the money we spent, I would have preferred a softer/thicker mattress. The other main "pro" was Richard himself. From start to finish, he was responsive and accommodating.
