We had a lovely stay. A very spacious and well equipped home, with bedding and towels and loo rolls (!) provided which was much appreciated. The bungalow is well layed out, which when travelling alone with kids was very helpful. Lots of games, and a lovely big garden for the kids to run around in with horses at the back (a beautiful view in the morning). Everything was easy to use and straight forward. Only issue was the telly was a pain to get working. Attempt to resolve this was almost immediate (thank you), but sadly, it didn’t work well for our stay. That said, we still had a lovely time and would have no hesitation to book again. Porthtowan is heavenly, 2 min drive away. 15-20 mins to St Ives and 35 to the south of cornwall. Thank you!

Richard was a very responsive host and was good at communicating throughout the process. We struggled to find the accommodation initially as it was late at night during heavy rain. As we had organised a late check in we knew that this was out of hours for Richard being 'on call'. But once we were there the accommodation suited our needs and had a great overall location during our tour.

One of the best place I have booked. Close to a lovely beach. The place was tidy, spacious and is in a very peaceful location. The garden was big for my kids to run around. We really enjoyed our stay. Would love to stay in it again.

Really enjoyed our lovely stay in Porthtowan. The house was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Richard was very helpful, communicative and responsive. Location of cottage great and within easy reach of beautiful beach and the rest of the gorgeous north coast of Cornwall. Good size outdoor space. Just a few small touches would make this an excellent place but a really good value place.

We had a lovely stay here (2 families with children age 7-10). The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and there’s a lovely big garden. We particularly appreciated that there is recycling and food waste collection which is rare at an air bnb - there were clear instructions and all the things (eg compostable bags) that we needed. It’s a shame there isn’t a pavement the whole way to the beach, but it’s not too busy a road and not too far so it’s definitely walkable, and there are other gorgeous walks locally, including along the cliff to St Agnes and beyond. One other thing to note is there’s only one bathroom for 8 people which could be a limitation, although we found it worked out fine.

Great property close to a stunning beach. The property had everything we needed and it was helpful to have a washing machine, clothes horse, hair dryer etc. We tried walking to the beach and it is only via a busy, steep road, so the next days we drove and used the large, cheap car park. I’m not totally convinced that Richard is the host, as a Yhoav responded to my question about recycling, but not to worry. Huge garden, the king sized bed was massive, and very comfy. Loads of off road parking, huge garden, and a beautiful part of Cornwall.
