The accommodation itself is getting on in years. The mattresses really need to be replaced quickly. None of us were happy to fall into bed after a long day. The beds (described as a double bed) are extremely small, and when you lie down in the bed you practically roll into the middle because they are totally soft and sagging. The furniture is quite inexpensive, the sofa practically slipped away when you sat down. There was no coffee maker as described. The dishwasher could no longer be opened properly. The cleanliness was so lala. The window sills and blinds were filthy. The corner by the toilet too. There is a lack of storage space in the bathroom. The bathroom smells unpleasant. When you come into the apartment, you can smell the drain directly. Obviously, they are trying to cover up the problem with scented stones, which has made it even worse in some parts. Location is good. But next time we would look for something else for the price.

Good location surrounded by some famous area, such as Brick lane, old Spitalfields market & Sunday Columbia Road flower market. Just a bit unlucky of random water leakage at the open kitchen area, and the host organised to fix it as soon as they can.

I love the location of this flat, it’s at the end of an alley way and has convenience shops and a Sainsbury’s nearby. It’s also got pubs/bars, restaurants, good shopping options and Liverpool St station all within walking distance. The flat itself is nice and spacious, clean and quiet, we couldn’t hear any street noise. The only thing to note is that it is a basement flat which may not suit everyone but it does not feel claustrophobic at all. I would very happily stay there again!

The apartment is nicely located. It's a basement but we don't miss the light. We really just slept there. The bathroom is small for 4 people, for more it's complicated. We had some major problems, but they were always available to help. They helped us with our luggage and we felt that we were accompanied at all times. The management of the company that manages it 5 stars.

Highlights: - Spacious accommodation, in accordance with the photos, - Close to an underground station, surrounded by bus lines to go in all directions, ideal for visiting London, Least: - Noisy street (sirens), music on Saturday night, but that's the price to pay for living in a capital city, - Few dishes / equipment for cooking, but the host completed during the stay, - only 4 chairs, - unreliable inflatable mattress (but the host provided us with a new one during the stay). The stay went generally well. The exchange with the host was easy.

Very good location but the beds are smaller than we expected and the mattresses are very soft not allowing for a comfortable rest. The bath wasn't cleaned properly. We had to clean it before using it. Communication from the host was good.

Very good location for visiting London, especially if you're coming from Stansted Airport. We had a problem with the key safe, but Myles and Toni reacted quickly by sending us new ones and even paying for the food we had eaten while waiting. It's something that can happen, but the response was very good. The apartment is a basement but we found it comfortable, good size, clean and with good furnishings. I recommend the apartment for visiting London. If we can, we'll be back. Thanks Miles and Toni.

This place was great. You might not think that as you first get into the building but it’s worth remembering this is historic and industrial London! Flat was spacious, surrounded by places to eat and drink, lovely vibe and most importantly for this particular stay during an unseasonably hot period in the city, cool! The bedroom was so comfy that I was almost late for work in the mornings. Taxis easy to find and public transport on your doorstep. Great extras like clingfilm and a tea towel (sounds weird but for doing dishes and reheating food, a must). WiFi nice and strong, and the place was quiet Would definitely stay again

The apartment is a "basement" but has all the comforts described! The host responds very quickly to what is required! The neighborhood is definitely the top. Perfect for a group of friends.

Great place for near Liverpool Street Station and walking to Tower of London (30 min) with close proximity to mang dining options, Spitslfields market and train and tube. Small bathroom, but plenty of room and comfortable place to put your feet up after a long day!

‎‏The photos matched what was advertised, but the issue was with cleanliness. The bed was not clean, and I had to use my t-shirt as a pillowcase. Additionally, the bathroom was problematic as the toilet did not function properly

The place is located in a trendy and very walkable neighborhood with lots of great restaurants, markets and shopping areas. It was perfect for 3 of us and we enjoyed our stay overall. All the amenities were provided but there could be some minor improvements such as providing sufficient hair and body shampoo where we had to buy our own. It wasn’t too big of a deal but it would make the stay much better for the price. The thermostat was a little finicky as well as we weren’t sure how to work its program so perhaps it could use a friendlier device. The hot water kettle was slightly decaying inside so we couldn’t use that as well. The hosts were very responsive and flexible with our requests and questions and I felt very appreciative of their help. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know. Great experience for a family trip!

Location was very good and close to public transport even we enjoyed walking to the city center. Kitchen items were complete for at least 5 people. We enjoyed staying there and house was clean. But still room for improvement such as bed or lights for staircase. We didn’t notice that the apartment was in basement but still good and to he honest equipments were good and find whatever we needed.

We have haf a great family stay here. Location is awesome, easy to reach either direction by Underground, coach, or train. Standstad airport is just about 60 min to get here. Location and basement appartement was surprisingly quiet both during the day and night. Downside is the very (!! Very soft) sleeping mats/beds in which you simply sink in. And we are slim family. Ok for one night but longer stay will result in spine pain for sure. Roller blind with mould patches should be replaced. Total score 8 (out of 10). Very good value, mostly because top location but still very quite.

The flat was ideal for our needs. It is centrally located to so much going on in the East End. All amenities listed were in great shape and we were instantly comfortable in our place. Murray Stays could not have been easier to work with and they were very responsive to all questions and proactively reached out regarding check-in / check-out and suggestions. We will definitely look to stay at a Murray Stays property (maybe the same one) the next time we're in London. Accommodating hosts all around! Dave Dueland

The accommodation’s proximity to Liverpool Station was great and the accessibility to Brick Lane and Shoreditch was also good. However, it didn’t feel that safe coming home at night time.

We had a great stay for the week. This place was huge for London, there were 4 of us and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The bedrooms were the perfect size for a couple to share with storage and a place to hang things. The living area was so spacious and open to the kitchen which made things easy. The only random thing, if you’re tall, the bathroom ceiling is a little low, but my husband is 6ft and he was able to manage for the week. There is also SO much to do in Shoreditch/Spitalfields. We kept saying we wish we had the whole week to just explore that one area. Tube stations were a quick walk and there were a lot of bus stops right around the corner. The host was super responsive and also very accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very nice apartment in which would book again at any time. Questions were answered immediately by the landlords. The location is perfect. The district is a hip, alternative district with many nightlife options. The connection to public transport is great. We arrived via London Stansted and that is well connected.

Amazing stay at Myles’s property. We needed the space for a week and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The beds were super comfortable (comfier than my bed at home), shower powerful and hot, kitchen had all the amenities which looked brand new. Really comfortable lounge/dining area - such a great space. The location was brilliant and couldn’t believe how quiet the apartment was given how central it was. It felt like a little safe, quiet haven at the end of the day and a great place to relax. Myles was such an amazing host and the communication line was always open and he went out his way to make us feel welcome and to meet our needs! We’ve booked again for future stays - absolutely zero problems or issues so thank you so much! Really pleasant stay!
