It’s the pigeons’ house and you are just paying a lot of money to stay in it. I felt I’d been had when I arrived at this place. The entrance was filthy with rubbish from previous tenants. There wasn’t even hand soap in the bathroom or salt and pepper in the kitchen. There was food from previous tenants in the freezer though! There were no dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher. The place was caked with dust: on the bedroom blinds, under the TV cabinet, on lamps and behind the sofa. The bathroom and kitchen weren’t clean. The whole place needed a deep clean. On my third day, they sent some people around to clean it properly. It is advertised with a balcony but the balcony was covered entirely in pigeon droppings. Piles and piles of the stuff. You couldn’t set foot out there and I had to keep the blinds to the only living room window drawn because looking at it was so disgusting, unhealthy. I was paying the same rate as a mid-price hotel and got far less for my money. I felt cheated.

What a location! If you want to experience trendy East London living, stay here. We were here for a month for work commitments and Broadway Market is beyond convenient. Great bars, restaurants and the market itself on Saturday and Sunday’s. Such a great flat, with a gorgeous light and airy living space. 5 stars from us!

We could not use the balcony because of the bird droppings very unhealthy, I never use the oven, but it was dirty. they told me they would take care of the problem with the landlord.

Very responsive and helpful hosts. Lovely spot right at the heart of the lively Broadway Market but not noisy!

Great location, and very nice and conveniently equipped flat. The balcony/outside area was unfortunately not usable due to all the pigeons and the “traces” they leave everywhere.

Great location in a very nice and lively area, close to Regent's canal and metro or bus stations. The space was spotless and matched the photos and description. Perfect welcome and responsiveness from Murray Stays. Recommended!

My second stay in one of “Murray stays” apartments in Broadway market. A great company to deal with. WiFi is a bit slow as it seemed it’s shared with 3-4 other flats but was just manageable without having to work from home. Noise from the street outside dies down around 2300 when the pubs kick people out so wasn’t a major issue, but remember it’s london and it’s a street with restaurants and bars - decent ones though so not any unpleasant behaviour. I certainly recommend these apartments and this company. Thanks.
