There are very few pros and, unfortunately, many cons to the property: Pros -Very close to Mudchute tube station. Cons -The front door doesn’t lock from the inside unless you leave the key in. -The front room smells of smoke. -The parking isn’t available, instead when you ask the host about it, they’ll direct you to make your own local arrangements. -We paid for early check in which we couldn’t get because the cleaner was there. Asked for a refund which hasn’t been processed. -The bathroom door doesn’t lock. -There’s mould/damp/cracks in the bathrooms walls behind the door. -The garden is in a state of disarray. The gardener was due to come but never did.

We chose to go for a private setting versus a hotel. But we truly should’ve gone for the hotel. We went during the heatwave, it was like 90+ outside and we had no air conditioner- we had fans which helped just a little. Additionally, there were wild foxes everywhere so we had to take care walking, lots of trash on the trails, the garden at the house was overgrown and could not be utilized which was originally what I had hoped to be a place my kids could play in. The house did not come with any dish soap, hand soap, dish brush, shampoo, extra toilet paper for our 6 nights (we had one roll) so we had to buy that. Here’s the cherry on top- the bathroom when you shower leaks. You can actually see how they’ve painted over the water damage- we had a fun time cleaning up a puddle that kept coming. We had to wash all of the towels- which get this, we had no laundry detergent for so we had to buy that. Management group is not responsive regarding a partial reimbursement. Not worth $2555

The place met our expectations. Close enough to the tube and a very easy commute to all the city has to offer. Quiet place and well kept. If we ever find ourselves back in the city we’d definitely book again!
