Fantastic location! Clean and tidy and lots of space. Only criticisms were the TV didn’t work. Simple aerial problem that wasn’t spotted and couldn’t be fixed during our stay. Clock not working and not enough plates/glasses. But insignificant in the grand scheme of things

Well not my favorite stay. The positives were the location was amazing and quiet- right in the heart of it all. The flat seemed clean and had most things we needed for our stay. The biggest negative was the lack of customer service. We arrived in the evening , and found the pull out couch (a bed for two of our kids) to be broken. We called the emergency number since it was after hours and were told to text them about the situation. No one got back to us until much later the next day -so my kids had to cram on the couch to sleep! They did arrive the next day with an aero bed and fixed the hinge on the third night of our stay-but I did have to keep reaching out to address the situation. Thankfully they did compensate us for the inconvenience which means a lot.

The location is fantastic, and the flat is quiet, given where it is. They’ve done well making the most of a very unusual space: the ground floor is one bedroom, the first floor is the other, and the kitchen lounge is at the top, all connected by a spiral staircase. There is no outlook - the windows are frosted and open onto back alley vibes. The result is a bit claustrophobic, and you wouldn’t want to be in there when it’s hot. The whole “Insta Playhouse” thing is weird, not only because I can’t imagine that attracting renters (it’s as if they’re marketing to teenagers), but because it’s not aesthetically particularly special.

First, let me say that the location of this place is wonderful-close to amazing food, public transportation, great shopping AND the Tube. You can literally get anywhere. If this review would allow parts of stars, we’d have given it 3.75. The drawbacks were the showers had an odor, broken parts, and barely drained. There have been water problems based on the damage around the bases and floors. The beds and pillows were flat and very uncomfortable-felt like they’d been used for many years. A couple little things-there’s a washer but no dryer, no Kleenex or washcloths. Last, we specifically needed 3 beds and the pull out sofa/ottoman thing that made one of them was broken so we couldn’t use it is a bed. Overall, the location ended up being really great though and it was pretty quiet despite it being in a very busy area.

PROS Great location. The apartment was fairly nice, and the area felt safe. CONS The power went off during our stay. We called the emergency number, and they assured us someone was coming to fix it that evening. We waited hours, then they stopped responding & nobody came. At this point, we felt it was too late to leave as we could not adequately pack using our phone flashlights. Repairs did not occur until the following day at noon. Prior to that, we could not shower or use the laundry as planned. We essentially could not use the unit for almost 24 hours. They refused an adequate refund. The bathrooms were a bit tight, and the shower in the 2nd floor bathroom leaked excessively. There was a lot of water damage along the floor, so you could tell it was long-standing. Staircase is quite narrow and steep, so it is a bit difficult to get luggage up and downstairs. There is also not a lot of room in the first floor bedroom to keep luggage. The fluorescent sign shown in photos was missing.

We loved our stay at Frankie’s place! It was so perfect for our girls weekend in london. The bedrooms were decorated really well, the space was so fun yet private as it’s set back from the busy streets of london. We had a really comfortable stay! The only downside is that our sofa bed was broken (flat 4) and when we messaged the host for any advice, we only received what seemed like automated messages back, about our check out etc. So we had to improvise and make shift a bed for two people out of the cushions on the sofa. Not the best sleep but we made it work. Everything else was wonderful though. The flat is so close to both Leicester Square & Covent Garden tube stations, so a great location. If we didn’t have the broken sofa bed we would 100% stay again!

Great location - very close to underground, lots of restaurants and things to do. The area is very touristy, but that's what we were there for. One note: An online map app doesn't show the location of the apt properly, so be sure to follow the numbers on building to find the entrance.

Loved the location, in the heart of Covent Garden, could walk to shopping and dining easily as well as many London landmarks. The apartment was set far enough back that there was no street noise whatsoever, but we did hear intermittent noise from nearby tenants. Plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out and appreciated the two bathrooms and heated towel racks!

Frankie’s place was the BEST of the Best, I have 3 kids , my wife and I and we sleep very comfortably, the apartment was sparkling clean, the best area in town, if you want to go to places that you don’t have to drive or train, this is the location I will recommend it 100 💯

If you want to be walking distance from the Theater Show you plan to see on the West End, this is your spot. This place is beautiful and seriously , right in the center of the action. Food choices are plentiful just outside your door. Everything you need is just walking distance from the apartment. Loved this place so much. I will stay here again!!!!!!

Great place for a family or friends of up to 6 people to stay in London. Right in the heart of the city, close to everything, well equipped, rooms, bathrooms, living room and great kitchen. I recommend it.

Our family of 6 loved our stay at Frankie Says! The location of this apartment can’t be beat - it’s in a super fun, lively, charming neighborhood. Step out the door to everything you want and need; dining, shopping, transportation, historic sites, etc. Though the flat is in the center of everything, it’s very private and quiet inside. It was clean and well-appointed with soaps, appliances, linens, etc. The check-in/out process was simple and stress-free. Frankie Says was very responsive via texts. Overall, this was the perfect, fun, playful spot! I hope we can return soon!

Thank you for such a pleasant stay, the apartment was exceptional and made our stay in London so special. The location was amazing which made our trip so easy. Went back to the apartment several times to drop things off, that’s how close it is to main places we visited. Would a million percent recommend and would love to stay there again. Such a beautiful place for our girls trip to London. Thanks once again.

Super cool place in an amazing location! We were only there one night but would definitely stay again. It would be a perfect place to cook meals and enjoy the kitchen and eating area. The windows all open and there was an open skylight on the top floor which was a big plus in the summer. There are speakers and individual volume controls in all the rooms to play music throughout. The door access from the street and to the apt. is very simple. Definitely recommend!

Great location and accommodation. We had an excellent night in number 4. Two great bedrooms and bathrooms with the living space on the top floor - excellent facilities. We went for a meal in Covent Garden and then the theatre. The great thing about this accommodation is that everywhere is walkable, we had a wonderful time.

This is a well-equipped and spotlessly clean, modern house. Although it is located in the heart of the West End it is astonishingly quiet once the door is closed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Frankie Says next time I am in London.
