The Flat was a good bargain for the price paid. Some minor items need improvement. - There was no Paper Towel to wipe any messes or any rags for cleaning up spills or messes. - For cooking and use of the kitchen for preparing meals, there is only the bare minimum items required to cook anything. No salt / pepper, olive oils ect that would be used in the preparation of any meal. It is required that you purchase your own kitchen basics if there is any plan to prepare a meal. - We made use of the clothing washer, which worked well but there is no detergent. We purchased some and left it for the next guest. The rooftop is nice add on, but does have exhaust fans from the restaurants in the same building, so you will smell food while outside. There is no AC, but there were plenty of Fans The shower knob for turning on water was broken and fell off. We put it aside and manually turned it. Overall it is a good value for the price paid, but small changes could make it great.

Great location if you want to be in the vibe of Soho. Place was as described and host was excellent with communication. Host was flexible with late checkout too. Would highly recommend.

Think this is now the 3rd time I’ve stayed at this lovely apartment. It’s in such a great location for the buzz of Soho. The apartment is exactly as described and just like the photos, and the host is super responsive and helpful. We even managed some sunshine on the roof terrace, which isn’t bad for London in April. Will definitely be back again.

Located right in the heart of Soho, surrounded by pubs and restaurants you are well placed to get to all of London. The flat itself is spacious and has everything you need for a short stay together with the luxury of a roof garden where you can sit and enjoy a quiet drink high above the throng! If you want a really central place and don’t mind a climb then it is an excellent choice

We loved Frankie’s Place. It was a perfect place for a New Year’s Eve stay on the roof top terrace. Loved the space itself and was appreciative of the communication. We ran into a bit of a problem during a rain storm and Frankie sent someone out the very next day. Very proactive & responsive. Plus the place was just cool all around.

The location is awesome. We did not realize how easy it would be to walk to many of the local attractions and theatres from the unit. The space was tight for the four of us (two adult children who didn’t want to sleep on the couch together). But Frankie hooked us up with an air mattress for our son and that worked well. We didn’t use the terrace as much as I was hoping but did enjoy some time up there and it is the best amenity for the place although outdoor furniture is quite worn. Frankie was very responsive when we reached out about a couple questions.

The flat was a very spacious 1BR with a fabulous and private roof terrace in the heart of soho just as Frankie described… even though it was on one of the busiest thoroughfares of soho, it was conveniently located at the far end of the street so you had access to the bars and clubs without literally being on top of them (with all the joys that would usually entail…) Frankie was professional, proactive and personable - a consummate host! She was also flexible and very gracious to give us a slightly later checkout because of our late return flight. The flat’s decor is quite cool and funky, but the piece de resistance is definitely the amazing rooftop terrace which was a good size and also surprisingly private. Just be aware that it is on the 4th floor of a walk-up with narrow-ish stairs (we had a few pieces of heavy luggage and still managed). Overall, a very special and unique flat; would definitely stay again (provided they maintain a reasonable and affordable rate!

Terrible stay, frankly. Flat was unbearably dusty, we would wake up each morning with irritated sinuses and itchy throat, cough etc. Felt like I had allergies. We also saw (what looked like) little dust mites. Stuffy, dirty, bloodstains on bedroom wall, stains on table, bird shit on cushions outside. Just a terrible job on the cleaning front. Flat has potential, great location etc, but needs a deep clean and updated furniture, In this state def not worth it. I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review because of hygiene/cleanliness, but this was objectively unacceptable.

Location was great. Apartment was mediocre. The discounted rate made us think we were going to be staying in a luxury place. The discounted rate which was hundreds of dollars cheaper than said original price still felt overpriced but the location was incredible. Stairs are brutal.

Amazing place - beautiful penthouse with private rooftop in Soho. Self-checkin was easy and fast. Bluetooth speaker was great. Awesome rooftop views. Clean bathroom. Comfy bed. Close to everything and an awesome place to come back to. Will return!

The apartment is amazing! Beautifully designed and the roof terrace was incredible, we spent every evening there. We were 4 adults and had plenty of room and surprisingly barely any noise from the busy street outside. The location is great, with Covent Garden and Oxford just minutes away, we could walk anywhere. Self check in was super simple and convenient and the host was friendly and responsive. There are a lot stairs so be prepared for that, but totally worth it. We can’t wait to come back!

Unit is comfortable for two couch turns into a bed that is pretty comfortable and the rooftop is awesome. Area is right in the middle of all of the bars restaurants and nightlife which starts at 11am and ends at 4am Sunday through Sunday. The party never stops there. But the unit was relatively really quiet for all the choas outside. A lot of stairs to fourth floor. No elevator

Had a great time staying at Frankie’s place with 3 friends! Bit tight for 4 adults with large suitcases but we made it work. Sofa bed not the most comfortable (turns into a full bed) but doable for a few days. Otherwise beautifully renovated and decorated. Very clean with explicit checkin instructions. Had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to reach apartment so keep that in mind when packing! Location was unbeatable - very walkable to tourist attractions, restaurants, and theaters of the west end.

The flat is on the 4. floor, perfect for young people as there is no lift. Nice big private roof terrace, however quite loud as of the fact that you stay in Soho. Great neighbourhood in the middle of Soho. Very easy self check-in and Frankie was always very quick in answering questions.

Amazing apartment with all that you need. Location was excelent. Even though it is in a bar street there was no noise in the bedroom at night. However, sleeping in the livingroom may be challanging for those who needs quiet to sleep. All in all good value for the money

Apartment was nice. Definitely not enough space for 4 people. The “king” size bed is more like a full. Upon entering the flat it smelled like vomit, and when telling the owner my comment was brushed off. Also they left us 2 towels for 4 people and promised to bring more but they never came. The living room couch bed was tiny and the windows were paper thin, therefore you could hear everything till about 4 in the morning when things quieted down. The four flights of stairs just to get up to the apartment also was not pleasant. Other than that the stay was ok.

Location, location, location. This stylish flat floats above SOHO in Central London. Old Compton street below is a famous street of pubs, restaurants, theaters, shops - anything you could ever want is just steps away. Throw open the huge sitting room windows or peer down from the epic and unique rooftop terrace to see the streets teaming with a sea of happy people out on the town. It is not a quiet place but one alive with energy and life. The flat has a stylish theme, thoughtful decorations, brilliantly executed lighting and nice touches such as a high end Marshall Bluetooth speaker and a Nespresso machine. The motorized skylight door to the roof terrace is a treat. The bedding is comfy and the shower is huge. Be ready for the four flights of stairs by bringing less or compact luggage. On the rare hot summer nights (as occurred on our stay), Air Con would be a luxurious add (and would make a guest less jealous of the dull roar from the neighbors AC units humming away through the night, sitting on the apartments own terrace). But open windows and provided fans kept us cool. This place is a gem. The world is just outside the door. We would have stayed longer if we could. Book this now, you will always be glad you did.

We loved the location of the flat. We were in the middle of everything, especially if you enjoy musicals and night life, the location is perfect. The flat was very nice and clean, just like on the pictures. We would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed my stay here. What a great apartment in an amazing location. Just perfect to enjoy the buzz of Soho and the surrounding central London areas. The apartment is super clean and everything is new. Roof terrace is a great bonus too. Will definitely stay here again without hesitation.
