I booked this the day Iran was bombed. Within hours I asked for a refund as all flights from Australia had been cancelled. They sent me running between them and Airbnb and wouldn’t refund me. Then I kept getting all of the originations of check in, cleaning, ID etc despite them being aware I wasn’t coming.

Half an hour after arriving we had a knock on the door from a representative from Frankie Says (host company) saying that they have had a complaint from the people upstairs saying we are making too much noise. We asked what type of noise as we have only just arrived. The very rude representative said did we have a washing machine going? I said we have only just arrived around 30 mins ago. With that he said keep the noise down. Even if it was a washing machine it would be their responsibility. I actually don’t think anyone was upstairs apart from him. As he went upstairs and let himself into the accommodation. Apart from the representative of Frankie Says this did tarnish our 2 day birthday celebration as for the wooden flooring we were too scared to even walk around the apartment. We ended up whispering for the duration of our stay. The description on Airbnb states “this is someone’s home”. it’s a rental property business. So their properties are not residential homes.
