The high ceilings with exposed beams, and windows on three sides compliment the bright and airy feeling throughout. The pièce de résistance is the sunny terrace, next to the fully equipped kitchen. Being all on one level makes everything easy. Situated in the heart of the historic quarter in Pezenas, everything is mere steps away and yet once inside the apartment, all is calm and quiet.

The space

Appartement Francois is a one of a kind place to stay. The ceilings are high with beautiful beams in the main living area. Tall windows on three sides allow for lovely cross breezes. There is also an air conditioner and wall heaters so that any season is comfortable. The entire apartment is very private - perfect for relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. You will love the terrace - a rare find in the old quarter! You will have all you need while on holiday, including Fibre Optic high speed internet and parking very nearby. In fact, many guests comment that it feels like a 'home away from home.' That is the best compliment to us as hosts.

Guest access

You will have access to everything in the apartment. The terrace is private and perfect for sunbathing, dining or just soaking up the sounds of Pezenas -- like churchbells and birds singing. There is also an extendable awning for very hot days. The storage cupboard is well equipped with beach towels, and toys for the kids. You can wash and iron your clothes if need be (but who wants to on holiday?). There is a highchair, baby cot and a safe for your valuables. There's even a yoga mat so you can say you did your downward dog pose while in the south of France! There are numerous parking options nearby.

Other things to note

There is something for everyone in Pezenas and area -- from restaurants to brocante (antique) shops to beaches. We have had guests stay in the winter - writers, artists and couples wanting a home base while they travel elsewhere. Spring brings a fresh start to those who choose to travel then. Mimosas are blooming and the air is warm and fragrant. Summer is when all the artisans open their doors to the public, even more restaurants appear in the most unlikely places, wine tastings abound and beaches beckon to young and old. Fall is lovely -- for bike rides, the grape harvest and any excuse to eat al fresco. We are proud to have so many return visitors and hope you will be next!
