This is a beautiful little cottage, and was lovely to stay in, though it does have a few oddities. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and utensils (although there were no tongs). The living room is nice, but feels a bit awkward to watch tv because the couches are perpendicular to it, so you have to twist your neck. The bedrooms are quite spacious, but this makes it difficult for the tiny oil heaters to warm up the area. Once under the covers it's not too bad though as the blankets seemed to do the trick. The bathroom is lovely with a big shower and nice water pressure, though the shower head loosens and swings down unexpectedly. The glass on the right side seems to be improperly sealed, as any water that runs down the glass puddles outside the shower. The bathroom door is also lacking some paint along the edge making it feels unfinished. Lastly, no WiFi in 2024? The place is advertised with no WiFi, so you know what to expect, but clearly the tv has WiFi just not the guests.

Very charming a cute property, we enjoyed our stay. However there was no scrubbing brush to do the dishes and the pots/pans & glassware wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped. The lack of wifi was not a major issue but with 3 kids to entertain we had to get creative. Otherwise very responsive host and a cute house, beds were comfy as well!

Rachel's cosy little cottage lived up to my expectations, it was very clean and well presented with a lot of old world charm. The amenities and supplies were well stocked and provided for, especially the heating. I have no hesitation in recommending this house to anyone wanting to stay in this central part of Ballarat, it was very close to the CBD. Rachel was always quick to reply to my queries. Overall a very comfortable place to stay

General Waste (red lid or small green bin) - collected weekly Recycling (yellow lid) - please do not put glass or soft plastics in the bin (use general waste bin) Green waste (bright green lid) - please do not put food scraps or pet waste in the bin (use general waste) Unless we send message and request, a Flairbnb team member will take the rubbish bins to the kerb for collection and put away again. Please make sure they have access to the bins from the afternoon prior to the bin collection day. Bin collection day: Friday Checkout information Strictly 10am. Due to cleaning scheduling we cannot accommodate late check outs. Please leave the key to the property back in the lockbox.
