Alan and Debs have a lovely home… a front seat on the beach. It’s nothing short of amazing… if you are tired of the beach you can ascend to a pool area which is well kept and beautiful. I mean if you want you can catch the sunrise from the bed nothing will stop you. My sisters and I just sat by the balcony and watched the sunrise. Amazing home… obviously we love ourselves a WiFi. We also took a walk to the lighthouse in the evening and we felt safe.

The location is absolutely great for a vacation. Both for family with kids to enjoy the waves and just one on one quality time with a loved one and family. All the necessary things required to ensure your stay is comfortable are there. A needed update on bathrooms maybe required as it seems a bit dated. The views make up for all of that!

The apartment is very well located with a wonderful Seaview. The two bathrooms is very unpractical to shower in and dated. - not a pleasant shower. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. If a very firm bed is for you then this apartment is ideal. We felt that a bed more suited for the average person that doesn’t feel like you are sleeping on a wooden plank would be better suited. Unfortunately while staying in the apartment i was badly bitten all over my body. The hosts is friendly and helpful.

We stayed at 201 Bermuda's for a full month. Absolutely beautiful property. The best unit in the building. Photos don’t do it justice. Huge comfortable condo, stunning views, large patio, what did you beach front. Bronze beach steps out the door. And lots of lovely restaurants and shops in walking distance along the boardwalk. Alan and Deb’s were the perfect hosts. They always responded within a couple mins with our questions or requests for help (Alan was there in 5 mins when we accidentally locked ourselves out early one morning). The apartment was serviced daily by a charming lady. Highly recommend. We will be back. Thanks Alan, Debs and Nandi!

This place was amazing, great hosts, very peaceful. I enjoyed every second. Looks just as in the pictures, fun activities are nearby and easily accessible. A beautiful hiking trail at the Umhlanga Lagoon is a walkable distance away so is Oceans Mall and the beach. Loved it!!!

Great place to stay. Safe, clean, spacious. Absolutely amazing views, especially from the main suite — waking up to the sunrise over the ocean was magical. Kitchen fully stocked and was nice to have some meals at “home” seated at the large table. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Deb's place. We have returned to this unit and to this apartment block many times. Its very clean, with good amenities, close to restaurants, a swimming beach, there is a beautiful view and access to the beach. The check in is easy. Everything just works! We had a lovely stay in an amazing location that truly felt like being on the beach. Debs and Alan were readily available via a group chat to address any issues that arose. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The rooms were comfortable, especially the master bedroom. While the bathroom could benefit from some updates, it did not detract significantly from our overall experience. We would definitely stay here again.

This really is an exceptional apartment. Everything from check in to leaving was seamless. Alan and Debs were great hosts and communicators. It's a serviced apartment - so daily cleaning and lots of amenities (soap, dishwasher tabs, salt and pepper, loo rolls, etc) all changed/refilled daily. Spacious 3 bedroom apartment. We are family of four, and had some daily visitors for lunch and never felt on top of each other. Very secure complex and access to the beach is a 1 minute walk. If you want to be in Umhlanga for a family holiday - this is the spot! You can watch your kids on the beach from the balcony if needed.

Debs offered us another place almost right on the water, and much more spacious because the one we had booked was located right in an apartment under renovation, so that we were not bothered by the disturbances, she outclassed us. it's super nice!! we had a great stay, the place and super nice surfers, restaurants and other activities all around on foot and very discreet personal, a very secure residence, I recommend

We had a nice getaway at Debs and Alan’s place. Great location with beautiful views. Debs greeted us at the gate and showed us all the ins and outs of the place. We had one small mishap with an aircon that Alan very quickly attended to. Daily housekeeping was a huge plus and allowed us to relax the whole time. Thank you for a great stay!

Thank you for another fabulous stay! We were traveling for my son’s swimming champs and this was the second time we stayed here. The drive to Kingspark pool is quick and easy, there are loads of restaurants and shops close by and the apartment itself is wonderful! The promenade is a right in front and we loved going to for early morning walks! Debs and Alan are fantastic hosts- nothing is ever too much trouble! Hope to be back next year again!!

Hosts good communication on power outages and water problems although needed promoting. Overall apartment well located and daily cleaning service a bonus. However, the apartment is dated and in need of upgrade. Shower unsuitable for any person with mobility problems, this should have been added to the overall description. Condidering the cost of our four day stay, we feel it is not good value for money. Would we return, unfortunately no.

This unit is located right on the swimming beach (with life guards). The main beach is about 5 min walk away. Spacious, with quality furniture, inside and outside. Living room has full DSTV channels and smart TV. Amaizing views of the beach. The kitchen has quality glasses, cutlery and appliances with dish washer, washer-dryer, Nespesso coffee machine and milk frother (pods are refilled daily), air fryer, smoothie machine, snackwhich maker, coffee plunger, toaster and kettle. Beach towels, a beach umbrella, 2 beach chairs and 3 boogie boards are provided. Other extras include board games, books, iron, 3 portable lights for use during loadshedding, rain umbrella and hair dryer. As was our experience a previous time with Alan and Debs, they are wonderful hosts!! Only a message or phone call away if you need anything (with immediate assistance). Their friendliness, attention to detail and excellent service makes one feel special and right at home. We look forward to coming back!!

We had a fabulous stay!! Beautiful place in a beautiful part of the counrty! Views are amazing and locatiom os perfect- close to the beach, the promenade, fabulous restaurants and shops! We were in Umlanga for a swimming gala in Durban, and the drive to and from the pool was quick and easy! Debs and Alan are great hosts. and made sure we had everything we needed! Can highly recommend this stay and we hope to be back soon!

This is a stunning apartment. Fantastic location, beautiful views and really well appointed. Spotlessly clean, linen and towels changed frequently and for those self catering there is everything (eg huge braai, nespresso machine with ample pods, quality crockery and glassware). Easy access to the promenade. The hosting is excellent too. We were met in person and thereafter any queries were dealt with immediately. We have stayed in many places in Umhlanga over the years and this is one of the best.

Debs and Alan were great and very kind hosts. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at The Bermudas. The location is perfect and close to the mall and several restaurants. The view from the apartment is mesmerizing. Everything was extremely clean including the linens and towels. Not to mention, our hosts were kind to offer us chocolate at our arrival, and coffee and tea for our whole stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Deb's place. The location was excellent, the unit was well kitted out with quality amenities. The photos provide a good view of what you can expect - all good quality. We found the unit very clean and the check-in process very easy and accommodating to our change in arrival time. We loved our stay and will be sure to book again. You will love this place, a stone throw from the beach. In fact, you could not be closer. Your children could be playing on the beach and you could see them clearly through the master bedroom or living room window. Amazing view. Great pool. You will love it.

we just returned from Debs place and I wished we could have stayed longer. Alan is the best and went out of his way for us. Even on Christmas eve late at night because or flight was late. The house is everything you can wish for and more. The location is just as beautiful as I imagined. I really recommend this place. Thank you very much Debs and Alan.

A wonderful, spacious and well - equipped apartment with quality finishes. Some thoughtful touches, like the mini-library. We stayed for a week and the apartment glittered every day after the service. Better than a 5 star hotel - walking distance to everything you need for a glorious stay! The hosts and staff take sanitization and Covid rules very seriously and we felt safe from the outset. Location is perfect!

Imagine a beachfront apartment, literally 55 steps from Bronze Beach, a not so crowded beach relative to Umhlanga Beach. A fully provisioned place, from an ice-making machine (already filled when you arrive) and fully equipped kitchen to beach chairs, bucket and spade, towels and fishing nets for the kiddies. And super hosts in Alan and Debs, who are there anytime you need them and check that everything is ok at least twice a week. The check-in on arrival and checkout is also super easy as they are so flexible. I’ve stayed here twice and this will be my KZN coast home for years to come. Thank you Debs and Alan.

From the minute we arrived we were greeted by Alan and Debs who helped us settle in to our apartment and made us instantly feel at home. This was not the first time we had stayed in an apartment managed by them, and as usual they exceeded our expectations by immediately responding to any of our requests. They went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met and that we had a comfortable stay. We would only ever use their services. As for the apartment, it is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The views are breathtaking and we were lucky enough to see whales and dolphins nearly every day. It is well appointed, and has everything and more that you would need. The linen, towels, crockery etc are all of the highest standard and is was a real treat to stay there. The apartment is serviced daily by lovely staff and is kept spotlessly clean at all time. You will not find a better holiday apartment in Umhlanga! Thanks to Alan and Debs for the most amazing 2 weeks!!

Alan & Debbie were excellent hosts. Great communication for our check-in and check out. They even sent us the daily load shedding schedule. The unit is perfectly placed on the promenade, and access to nearby restaurants is excellent. Will definitely recommend staying here.

Debs communicated timeous upfront and was even prepared to accommodate us as we were initially only going to arrive after 11pm on the Friday night. Fortunately we were earlier and Alan met us with a smile and even helped to carry my bag to the unit. They made our stay very pleasant. From the assistance to check in, updating us on the load shedding schedule and the assurance that there are lamps, to the tip re a restaurant to the professional way that the check out was handled. Loved staying at this place. The view is to die for. The house is well equipped and has extras like ice machine, nespresso coffee machine, extra towels, body boards for the kids. It’s in a great location 10-15min walk to the village shops restaurants and bars. Easy to get around by walking or ubers Alan and Debs are super helpful and always easy to get hold off - superb hosts

201 Bermuda's... Apartment is clean , stylish ,safe , beautiful ocean view ...Main bedroom is to die for ....and 2min to the beach ....No false marketing. What you see on the pics is what you get when you get there . Cutlery ,crockery and appliances spot on ...Bedrooms are beautiful , comfortable stylish with quality linen ( Egyptian cotton )...The apartment is worth the price .Without doubt I am going back soon with my husband and kids as I was with my friends .. hen I first saw the pictures,I thought it looked too good to be true, but when my family and I got there: Everything was perfect and even more Amazing than on the pictures. This place is a gem,a small piece of heaven.... It's so beautiful,fresh and clean. The view is awesome,it's right on the beach and very close to shopping centres... We were lucky enough to see dolphins. We enjoyed everyday we spent there and wished we could stay longer. Thanks for the amazing hospitality,I love that everything we could need was already provided (hair dryer,iron,toys for kids and different boardgames),the kids really loved this place. The staff was super helpful and friendly too. We really do plan to come back soon,till then keep up the excellent service you provide.

We were staying in the apartment with our son & daughter-in-law who had travelled from abroad with our 5-month old grandchild. Debs arranged a highchair and pram which made the difference. What a fantastic place! The pics and description do not do the location justice. We loved being able to wander down so easily to life-guarded Bronze Beach. I cannot recommend this place enough! It is exceptionally comfortable, and the hosts, Deb and Alan, have generously thought of just about everything to make a guest’s stay really wonderful. Debs and Alan’s are really pleasant hosts – they respond quickly, they make you feel like valued guests, their attention to detail is phenomenal. The property comes equipped with very plush bedding and towels. There are extra blankets in the living area, Nespresso machine with complementary pods, books, puzzles and games, extra cutlery and dishes and full servicing of the unit, to name just a handful of items. The views of the ocean from the living area, patio and the main bedroom are beyond spectacular. We wish we had arranged to stay on a few more days. We will definitely be back!

Wow!! Where do I start. Such a warm welcome upon arrival and meeting the hosts in Person really adds to how amazing the experience was. Any thing you might need Debby and Alan were there at the drop of a hat, you really felt like they cared about you as people and guest, the type of feeling you would not get in a hotel that’s for sure. Fantastic tips on what there is to see and eat with great results from their advice so I would highly recommend the use of this advice. Great staff and so very friendly - amazing views of the ocean which is only a couple steps away I mean wow!. The apartment was spotless and comfortable for everyone involved which is a big yes for travel I think. Thank you Alan and Debby it was an experience above no other and will most definitely make use of your properties in the future.

One of the best family holidays we've had. The position of the apartment is excellent, literally a few steps from the beach with lifeguards. Immediately when we arrived, we noticed that the place had everything provided for, enough towels, tea and coffee and condiments. Definitely child-friendly. This is our second time at 201 Bermudas having went for the 1st time last year with my friends. Can safely call it our home away from home, Debs and Allan's hospitality was as great as ever, their willingness to assist and go the extra mile remains unchanged - this is such a lovely apartment - this time we did minimal driving around and the location is perfect for that - everything you need is just a walk away. The only sad thing is that its always over too soon, we suspect from next year we might just add another night. Thanks Debs and Allan and your wonderful staff. We will be back!

You can't get better than this accommodation with the ocean close enough to access easily, and to fill every sense. Thank you for the very nice time in this great apartment with the great sea view. We felt very comfortable. The service was exceptionally generous, always very friendly and absolutely reliable. It was the ideal starting point for all our activities around Durban for us. Every day, everything was cleaned again and the missing was replenished. For example, capsules for the Nestle coffee machines were provided in large and numerous choices. All in all, a very good and above all very nice apartment to relax and enjoy. We travelled to Durban for a mini break of 3 nights hoping to relax and unwind after a busy few months and this apartment was absolutely ideal. We were three friends travelling together and there were three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a further toilet and basin, so it suited us down to the ground. The facilities are top notch, Allan and Debs have thought of everything, from pool towels to washing machine, ironing board and iron, nespresso machine, tea and coffee and all kitchen and other items are of the highest quality too. The pictures show you exactly what is there - an excellent view of the ocean from both the master bedroom and the terrace and it's only a minute's walk to get to the beach from the apartment with excellent security. We had a wonderful stay and would return in a flash! Allan was really helpful with tips on local eateries and what to do in the area, there's also an excellent book in the apartment with restaurants and things to do etc. Thanks very much to them for a re-vitalising holiday, we absolutely loved it!

What an incredibly comfortable place to stay. Fantastic view and amenities. You don’t need to go to restaurants, Braai overlooking the beach with an amazingly well equipped kitchen to cook in. Coffee machine. Washing machine and dishwasher with all the cleaning materials. Serviced daily. If you like to eat out a stroll up the road gives you many many choices. It felt like home away from home.Ideal for kids. I will definitely be back

Amazing accomodation, has everything and more to make a fantastic holiday. Overlooking the best beach on the coast with access to the beach and promenade at your doorstep. Secure garaging for one car and gated parking for guests. We absolutely fell in love with this apartment, definitely the best in the block. This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. This is an amazing apartment and we had the most fantastic time. Allan and Debs set a new standard on being super hosts. Nothing was to much to ask. From the moment we arrived they went out of their way to make our holiday special. They assisted us with our luggage, arranged a wheel chair for my Mom on very short notice, made reservations for us at the best restaurants.... the list is never ending. The apartment was exactly what we hoped for and so much more. It is perfectly situated, with the most beautiful views, easy access to the beach, serviced daily, well stocked with everything we needed. What was there not to love about this place? We definitely recommend this apartment and will most definitely be back in 2019.

There was so much to enjoy; from the easy access to the beach to the wonderful balcony with great views. I am a South African working in Hong Kong. I bought 7 of my Hong Kong colleagues on holiday to South Africa. We stayed at 201 Bermuda’s. Debs and Alan went above and beyond!! They always responded to their WhatsApp. They offered to buy us groceries as we were landing at night time. I had an issue with a rental car and wasn’t in the area so Alan went to sort it out for me. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful and the view is gorgeous. It’s in a safe area with a few steps to the beach. I highly recommend 201 Bermuda’s.

Debs and her husband Alan were both extremely accommodating and hospitable throughout our stay at their lovely flat. They are the nicest/friendliest people and the best hosts! Our experience in Umhlanga was amazing and we could not have picked a better spot or location. The apartment is very clean, has great amenities, incredible views and it is in a great location - walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and more!

Dear Alan and Debs, words cannot thank you enough for trying your hardest (and succeeding) in making our holiday really really great and extra special! From the time we arrived ( helping us get all our luggage to the apartment and taking us to drs! ) up until we were back in Jhb ( checking we got back safely) you really took care of our every need, and responded promptly to any request, question or message we had. Lucia the lady who cleaned the apartment was more than amazing... It was truly a treat to have a clean and tidy apartment seven days a week. The apartment met all expectations and really is a ‘gem’. We had a fantastic stay in Umhlanga thanks to Debs and Alan, who were extremely personable and helpful for our whole stay - including stocking the kitchen with booze and food before we arrived - a great welcome! The apartment was nicely furnished, clean, well equipped and had a great view of the ocean, and only a 15 minute walk to Umhlanga. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing apartment, one of the best locations and very well furnished. We had an amazing experience and the apartment is so pleasant one actually does not need to leave it, apart from going to the beach. The attention to detail from the Hosts is the best I have had. My kids had a wonderful time with less than a 2min walk onto the beach and promenade. I will definitely be back and I would highly recommend this apartment to travellers staying in Umhlanga.

I hardly take time to write reviews, but the experience my friends and I had at Debs's place this past weekend made me look forward to writing this review- this after even spending time narrating the whole experience to my husband when I got home - so it means I just can't stop talking about it. Firstly the location is great- 2 min walk to the beach, 5 min drive to shops and restaurants, 15 minutes to the airport and also 20 min drive to CBD - these are the places that mattered to us during our weekend away. Then the apartment itself is beautiful, breathtaking sea views, clean fresh linen and towels ,the appliances and utensils - all top grade - who expects to cook with Jamie Olivier pots:-) my friends teased me for overcooking stir-fry because I must have been enjoying the pan. Last but certainly not least - the hosts were amazing, as a group we were all equally touched by the authentic warmth and hospitality of Debs and Allan that we found ourselves for the first time ever in our travelling trips, buying them a small token of our appreciation. Days before we came through, they initiated communication just to take me through how we will link up when we arrive, sharing weather details with us, places to eat etc. - and in the process getting us excited for our trip. I liked that I didn't have to call them to ask all those details - it made us feel like we are being expected and are welcomed already. We had welcome drinks and chocolates waiting for us, they took the trouble to know everyone by name ( all 7 of us ) and by the time we left, they indeed knew who's who in the group - which means they were paying attention. We did a lot of shopping - 7 ladies on holiday:-), on the day we were checking out, Allan came through to offer his 3rd car to take us to the airport because he saw the amount of shopping we did over and above our luggage that we each came with and knew that the 2 small cars we were using would not be sufficient. At that point I thought - if this isn't hospitality, I don't know what it is because we were still trying to work out the extra luggage challenge ourselves but had not even thought to trouble them with this one. At the end, we felt that for the amount of money we paid for the accommodation, the experience was worth way more - Well done Debs and Allan - may your business continue to grow just from the personal touch you give it and your amazing hospitality. Will be back.

What an amazing few days we had... and just what this family needed !!!! Prinstine, generous spaced apartment and with our children’s range of ages (17,14,11,1.5) it was exactly what we needed!!! I highly highly recommend this accommodation.

An absolute gem of an apartment. Super location. Right on the beach with uninterrupted views of the ocean. The hosts were really friendly, attentive and thoughtful and couldn't have been more helpful. I know where I will stay on my next trip to Durban. Seriously highly recommended!

Spacious and relaxing all the amenities needed to make a holiday even better, gas braai, wi fi, kids games, books to read, close to sea, beautiful sun sets and sun rise, walking distance to restaurants and of course the warm hospitality from Debs and Alan.

I almost don't want to write about this little gem as I know the next time we try and book it - it'll be fully booked! I can't put into words just how amazing this apartment is. With a great big balcony to enjoy the incredible sea views, comfy outdoor seating, the biggest sofa to lounge on in front of the telly, lovely soft bedding, well fitted out kitchen and prompt responses and generous hospitality from both Debs and Allen - it's a very special place indeed. We don't often return to the same places but this is one place we shall return to again and again.

Our stay in Umhlanga at 201 Bermudas Ocean Suite was such a great experience. It was a very special and memorable week for us as a family. From the moment we checked in to check-out Debs and Alan attended to our needs. The apartment is lovely. It is both tasteful and practical - and very secure. The location is ideal! The promenade and beach is literally on your doorstep. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area and they are all conveniently close. The restaurants also offer delivery services. The view from the apartment is stunning. We spent a lot of time on the outside balcony, overlooking the promenade, beach and ocean. The kitchen is lovely and well equipped with good quality appliances, like a Nespresso machine, a smoothie maker, dishwasher and washer/dryer that are all in working order. Debs and Alan were just a message away and are very committed and hospitable hosts - thank you very much. We had a lovely time!
