The place was spotless and exactly as shown in the pictures. Check-in was seamless, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, we did experience an issue with the bedroom doors, as they locked automatically and there were no spare keys available, which forced us to call a locksmith. Despite this inconvenience, the overall experience was great.

It was a great location... easy access to promenade and beach. Halaal food avail at Pearls mall...walking distance across pier .. and oceans mall is walking distance. Place was very clean. Alan was a great accomodating host. Only had 1 issue.. the neighbours did not adhere to quiet time ..they were very noisy until 4am on both the nights we were there... even 2 other residents came out to tell them to pls keep quiet . Will definately book there again.

We had a wonderful friendly welcome from Sunny who gave us the keys and showed us to our apartment. The apartment was very clean and tidy. We liked the quality appliances, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The bed linen and decor is tasteful and the place smelt so lovely. We enjoyed the white robes and watching TV from bed. The pedestrian walkway down to the beach made morning walks on the gorgeous promenade easily accessible.

Our stay at Alan's Airbnb was fantastic and perfect for families! The lovely house featured spotless beds, ensuring a very comfortable night’s sleep. The full kitchen was a dream, equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it easy to cook meals. Waking up to the beautiful ocean view each morning was a highlight of our stay. The air conditioning and heating kept us comfortable, regardless of the weather. The location is excellent, with restaurants and a mall just a short walk or drive away, providing easy access to everything we needed. We also appreciated the added peace of mind from the security gate, which made accessing the apartment very easy. There was ample parking available as well. The daily maid service was a wonderful touch, keeping everything fresh and tidy throughout our stay. Finally, Alan is an excellent host. His responses were prompt, and his communication was always clear and helpful. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Amazing. Better than the description & photos, wonderful communication, like a hotel but much better. And Alan & Deb were so accommodating to help me check out a little later with my aging grandmother. I want to stay here again.

Great apartment. Stayed for 6 nights. Very clean and great space. Balcony a little small for 6 people but luckily we were only 3. Gas braai a great touch. Cleaning done daily so that was also wonderful to come back to a clean and tidy apartment. Kitchen was fully equipped including air fryer and washer. Great touch was washer soap and toiletries. My boys and I thoroughly enjoyed the direct access to the main swimming beach.

Exactly as described in the pictures. The amenities listed were spot on, they even had beach towels. Great location easy to walk to Ocean Mall and all the restaurants in uMhlanga. Be advised it a few steps to get down to the beach but so worth it. If I’m ever in Durban again, I will stay here again. My family and I spent the holidays, New Year’s Eve and day and it was fantastic, the view of the fireworks show was magical. Perfect three bed 2 bathroom apartment with ocean views, my family didn’t want to leave.

They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable The apartment has everything you could need Our one year old had a wonderful cot with great linen and the high chair was awesome for him They provide everything a 5 star hotel could have with a home away from home feeling There is a lady that cleans every single day and refreshes the towels, linen and gowns regularly This is the best place to stay in Umhlanga The walk to the beach is safe and easily accessible It is a fantastic apartment and close to everything, malls, restaurant, the beach and the hosts a 5 minutes away if you need them

Spotless place with everything you need well located. The “Brown Sugar” nightclub down the roads noise, I think might be a problem if you looking for perfect peace and quite as is the smaller bedroom which has two single beds in it as it’s located against the building passage/access corridor (double gazing will sort that and kids won’t care either way) - great friendly hosts!

We went for a relaxing weekend to Umhlanga but unfortunately it wasn’t so relaxed because of a very noisy neighbourhood. Also the Flat is on the second floor above the main Entrance, the whole weekend was very noisy. It’s not the fault of the owner. Only what you have to know before is, that the flat is above the MainEntrance and also nearby to the parking spot. Otherwise the flat was nice, clean and very well equipped. I can recommend Debs definitely as a Host.

We had a wonderful time with my family at Deb's place. Our accommodation had all the amenities one could need. I especially liked the attention to detail and the little extras you do not get from other bnb's. You can tell that a lot of love and attention was placed in making this home as homely as possible. The location is ideal as it close to everything, the beach is within walking distance, the mall and other shops are also within walking distance. The security around made one feel at ease. We look forward to coming back again. Thank you to Debs and Alan for hosting us. And thank you to Jasen for a warm welcome at check in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Lodge....was an absolute bliss. Felt right at home especially with the kids.. loved the interior and the kitchen. Beach towels, umbrella its all there. We'll definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore Umhlanga. Great hosts! Till next time!

We enjoyed our stay, my family was very comfortable. The owners invested in great quality appliances, new and modern TVs, aircon, inverter etc. Debs and Alan did an amazing job making sure everything was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.
