If you are reading this review and considering to book, dont think twice. This Place is PERFECT !!! I travel a lot oftern use company accomodation discounts, however Debs N Alans place tops all other accomodation and vacation houses I have been too. I have to add it Gives Cape town in Mhlanga , So CLEAN you'd eat off the floor ! Thank You Debs and Alan , I cant wait to book again in Feb.

Our home away from home! We had a fabulous stay,this was now the second time staying at one of Alan & Debs’s apartment. For us it was a perfect place to stay. We are travelling with a 5 mnth old baby and everything is so convinient: a mall, a pharmacy, coffee and plenty of places to eat. The beach is just 5 min walk away. The building is on a busy street with an active night life, but it doesnt bother you, the apartment is peacfull and has everything you need.

The hosts, Alan and Deb’s were extremely helpful and accommodating, in that they made you feel welcome. The studio we had was extremely comfortable, central to all the restaurants and shopping areas in Umhlanga and extremely close to the beach. The kitchen was well also well kitted out.

Lovely apartment and extremely well located. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the building and on the street, and its walking distance to the beach. The wifi was fast and reliable. A bonus was the cleaning service, which made it a really great place to come back to every evening. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely adored this little place. Comfy , clean and an incredibly convenient location - right by the best restaurants , a beautiful views and LITERALLY a 5 minute walk to the beach! Very peaceful and quiet inside the flat. Felt very safe too. Feel so well rated after my little getaway! Everything was very clean , the shower was amazing and such wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts. I highly recommend this place if you want to stay in Umhlanga . Will definitely be back !

I really loved my stay. Everything was in place and all we had to do was buy food which is so accessible like a few minutes away and a hreat variety and selection. The beach snd the promenade is a few minutes walk and we enjoyed our morning walks. I will definitely stay there again.

Amazing hosts from the minute of landing in Durban, checking how my flight was and communicating before arrival even. They were amazing and always responsive and proactive when the Aircon was not working properly. They had someone fix it right away. I extended my stay beyond the normal period. They were helpful and accommodating with my late check out too. Would recommend them anytime.

We loved staying at Debs' place. The location is extremely convenient, in walking distance of the beaches and right in the heart of Umhlanga Village. Nearby are a supermarket, bottle shop and several excellent restaurants. Alan met us on arrival and showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Deb's place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and included a coffee machine - always a win - and a washing machine. The bathroom was modern and the bed was very comfortable and furnished with cotton bed linen. The small balcony area was ideal for getting our washing dry and for watching the sun rise. Overall, we would highly recommend Debs' place and would definitely stay again.

We had a great few daus at our location. The only negative pointers I would like to highlight was the smelly odour we experienced from the little walkin-room which was immediately addressed. No further issues on that. We also experienced that our room we were closeby to the dustbins collection area which also had a smelly odour from which we could smell in the mornings especially. That area will always attract insects. The last which was mainly our fault was the doors should be closed as monkeys will pay you a visit and help themselves even if you're in the room sleeping or not. We were able to stop them before too much damage was caused. On the positive side we really enjoyed our stay onwards. Easy access to shops, restaurants, beach and other facilities. We recommend this holiday location to anyone that wants a save place as well to stay. Thank you to Alan and Debs for a great time.

We loved this place. It reasonably priced and in a great location. We didn’t have a car and it was super easy to get around. The place was really nice and very clean and best of all the hosts were super helpful and accommodating. If youre worried about the noise, it’s not a problem at - there is noise proofing and it’s very peaceful inside. Overall a really good experience

Debs' place is wonderful, and Debs and Alan are extradonary hosts. The apartment is 3 minutes walk to the beach, there are many restaurants and places to shop within a few minutes walk. The grocery store on the ground floor of the building was incredibly convenient. Debs is extremely friendly and helpful. I had my credit cards stolen in the Johanasburg Airport, and Debs went out of her way to help me. She drove me around looking for a Money Gram store, but they have all closed. Then she even drove me to the Gateway Mall twice when we found a Western Union there. If I could give Debs 11 stars, I would.

After we got off the boat, we went to drop off our luggage, and Debs and her team were extremely accommodating; they took our luggage up to the room, allowing us to roam about uMhlanga. The place itself is amazing, with everything you need. The first night we were so tired we relaxed on the bed and watched movies. The surrounding area is booming with clubs, restaurants, and touristy activities, and the beach is extremely close. You don't need to use Uber to get anywhere. One of the fascinating attractions would be the random monkeys you might see while sitting on the balcony—a sight to behold.

This serviced studio apartment is a gem in central Umhlanga Rocks. Not only is it a beautifully styled and clean home, but it's also perfectly situated with some of the best restaurants and bars on Chartwell Drive within walking distance. We also enjoyed the nearby Umhlanga Main beach and famous Whalebone Pier. The apartment had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to a washing machine and efficient aircon. The fast wifi and the very comfortable desk and office chair made it a perfect choice for our 3 weeks workation. To top that off, Debs and Alan are wonderful hosts and assisted us with everything we needed. We highly recommend this place!
