I couldn’t ask for more. Deb’s N Alan’s place was in close proximity to everything you can think about. Walking distance to malls, restaurants, gyms, the beach area, night life etc. I enjoyed my stay there and I highly recommend.

Felt like home! The marvellous sea view was def the highlight 🥹 the beach is literally one block and a 2 minute walk away. There’s a shopping centre and plenty of restaurants on ground floor which was very convenient. The hosts were nice and communicated well. It was definitely worth the price!

As a serial Airbnb’er, suffice to say this was the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, will certainly be staying again as the go-to if I revisit the area. You will not find a better and more convenient location to stay in Umhlanga. Perfect for 2/3 people, drinking water tap, spotlessly clean everyday, parking, close to everything, amazingly accommodating hosts, right above a supermarket, security too. Honestly, if you’re looking at this place for 2/3 people and it’s still available for your dates, snap it up now before it goes, you won’t regret it!

We loved our stay here, it was a beautiful and well maintained place with a spectacular view. Deb was extremely welcoming on arrival and we felt right at home. If you are looking to be right in the heart of Umhlanga then this is the place to be. Lovely views, apartment was spotless, the cleaning lady was very friendly, and the little extra touches were appreciated. Being in the centre of Umhlanga, the noise from the road below was noticeable - however being able to just go downstairs and have a huge assortment of restaurants and shops to choose from was great.

Very conveniently located right in the mix of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, other accommodation (great if you have several families staying in different places) and 2 mins walk from the beach! Super clean apartment, comfy bed, plus one free secure gated basement parking space. There is safe & secure building access via a key fob for the stairway, from the parking basement, the lifts, and on each floor corridor door. This security was fantastic and as a woman on my own I felt very safe. Sea views + a balcony + complimentary pods for the coffee machine made sunrises extra special! The apartment is serviced daily, which is magic!! It was a bit noisy during the night, with sounds from people, music and cars on the street, although this isn’t any fault of the hosts…. And to be expected when staying in such a central location! Everything else was top notch and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Debs & Alan!

This was the second time staying at Debs' apartment, and I'll definitely be back. Lots to do as the apartment is very central for local restaurants, the beach, coffee and a couple of high end malls. Durban itself is a very quick drive. The apartment itself is wonderful. Comfortable lounge, good wifi, well stocked kitchen, clean bathroom with separate powerful shower, and very comfortable bed. Debs and Alan are very responsive with their communication, and flexible with check-in/out as possible. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved my stay at 63 Lighthouse From booking to checkout. Debbie and Alan and precious were so accomadating and so friendly. I love the chocolate on the pillow and attention to detail was on point. The view's, The bed and pillows are so comfortable. Love the fact it has a bath and shower. Nice open plan . Everything is so convenient with shops around and restaurants at your door step. The beautiful Umhlanga promenade to run on. Was so a magnificent stay ❤️

Deb's place was the perfect base to explore Umhlanga in a relaxed and easy way. It was very convenient to have shops (including grocery stores, restaurants, and pharmacies) connected to the building and be just a few blocks away from the beach. Really enjoyed my stay in Debs’ beautiful apartment. Location is perfect for numerous restaurants, bars, two big malls. Umhlanga can be noisy at night but you’re on a high enough floor not to be bothered by it. The apartment was very clean. Bathroom was spotless. I can’t comment on the kitchen as I didn’t cook (but it was stocked with everything you could need). Communications with Debs and her team went well and they responded very quickly to any questions. Definitely recommend!

I think i'm a bit hard to please but this has been an awesome stay. very little i could complain about if i needed to. Parking with my size car and the spot allocated for the apartment was a bit stressful but i still managed and when needed they even made some arrangements specially to accommodate me. I have stayed in many AIRbnb's but Debs and Alan's are by far one of my fave's.

Beautiful sea view’ close to all amenities restaurants, laundry shopping centre's and so forth. apartment is stunning clean & neat’ Loved the colour combinations. what I did not like is that there is only 1 parking for the apartment, the sliding doors could not open the dinning and the bedroom sliding doors, for fresh air, the place did not have plates to eat on worse no washing machine we had to take our cloths to laundry please invest in a washing machine instead of a dish washer as it’s more commonly used and needed then a dish washer.

I can absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Umhlanga! We got picked up downstairs and shown how to enter the building & our apartment. Daily cleaning, load shedding updates always a day in advance, immediate explanations when asked about the apartment/Umhlanga. Personally I'd say it's more of a hotel experience, but with all the perks of an Airbnb. Worth a visit again🩷 Thank you so much for this awesome stay!

Beautiful safe apartment at Umhlanga Rocks with lovely views facing towards the ocean. Everything was clean and tidy with all the essentials you would need for cooking basic meals. There is a supermarket right under the apartment, and a number of good bars and restaurants right underneath too. As a result there is a bit of noise at night but nothing a pair of earplugs can't fix and definitely won't put us off returning. Very safe to walk around this area and only 5 mins walk from the gorgeous beach and the lighthouse. It would feel safe for a lone traveller too as the building and parking garage have good security and there is good communication from the hosts. Highly recommended.

Central location with grocery stores, malls & restaurants all a short elevator ride away. Extremely convenient and situated in the main hub of Umhlanga, and only a 5minute walk to the promenade. Apartment was clean and had all the basic amenities for a short stay. One thing to note is that because of it's central location it can get a bit noisy at night with the restaurants and pubs downstairs, but all-in-all a great place to stay to explore what Umhlanga (and Durban) has to offer. Would recommend!

Amazing place, very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The location couldn’t have been better with all the restaurants and shops you would want connected to the apartment block. No need to leave the building especially during rain or storms. Very convenient. Nice view and within walking distance of the beach. Will definitely be visiting again.

Perfect located apartment in Umhlanga that's near all main attractions. We loved staying here as it's perfect for a couple's getaway. Amazing ocean view and even got to see whales from the balcony early in the morning. The apartment has everything you need and Debs was a great host!

The flat was clean and Debs was available to help out with any issue. The flat is well positioned, being no more than 5 minutes from the beach. Highly recommended.

We had such a wonderful stay in Umhlanga. The apartment is perfectly situated - close to the restaurants and the beach. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Definitely would visit again.

Debs's place is perfect she was very gracious and friendly on my arrival and the apartment was spotlessly clean everything you need for a comfortable stay is there, the bed is very comfortable it was truly a five star experience. I would highly recommend and I'll definitely be going back on my next visit to Durban.

Stunning apartment with best views, clean and beautiful has everything you need. Very conveniently located, groceries can be purchased in the same building, lots of restaurants in walking distance. Hosts are amazing!
