Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place which has secure basement parking and is only a lift-ride away from shops and restaurants. A short 2-minute walk to the beach.
Coffee, tea, beach and bath towels provided as well as all other essentials for the bathroom and kitchen.
Ideal for singles or couples. Should you have a child with you we can accommodate them on the pullout couch in the lounge

The space

The apartment was renovated to be wheelchair accessible and has a large roll-in shower.
The sofa bed in the lounge is for 1 adult or 2 children. There is an extra charge for using this bed to cover the extra laundry charges.
There is only 1 allocated secure parking. Extra vehicles will park in the street and there are security guards, night and day, so it is safe.

Guest access

The entire apartment except for the locked private cupboard is for your use.

Other things to note

Towels are changed after 3 nights. Linen is changed after 7 days. Any additional change requests to this will be for your account.
Unfortunately, there is no backup generator for the lifts during loadshedding.
There is an inverter which keeps the wifi and tv on during loadshedding and we have loadshedding lamps and where possible we energy storing lightbulbs.
There is a charge of R1 000-00 to replace a lost set of keys and tags which have to be specially coded.

Beautiful place, Debs gave easy clear instructions, great restaurants and the beach, all within walking distance. Shopping, grocery stores. Great little veranda to sit on. Big comfortable beds, and maid who was great.

Alan and Debs are amazing hosts, who are very responsive and always check in you as a guest. The apartment is lovely, modern, very clean and is located at the heart of Umhlanga where restaurants, bars are walking distance. I would definitely be back and highly recommend the place to anyone

As a serial Airbnb’er, suffice to say this was the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, will certainly be staying again as the go-to if I revisit the area. You will not find a better and more convenient location to stay in Umhlanga. Perfect for 2/3 people, drinking water tap, spotlessly clean everyday, parking, close to everything, amazingly accommodating hosts, right above a supermarket, security too. Honestly, if you’re looking at this place for 2/3 people and it’s still available for your dates, snap it up now before it goes, you won’t regret it!

We loved our stay here, it was a beautiful and well maintained place with a spectacular view. Deb was extremely welcoming on arrival and we felt right at home. We were provided with a few grocery items and a freshly baked loaf of bread on arrival which was really special. I would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend it enough.

If you are looking to be right in the heart of Umhlanga then this is the place to be. Lovely views, apartment was spotless, the cleaning lady was very friendly, and the little extra touches were appreciated. Being in the centre of Umhlanga, the noise from the road below was noticeable - however being able to just go downstairs and have a huge assortment of restaurants and shops to choose from was great.

Very conveniently located right in the mix of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, other accommodation (great if you have several families staying in different places) and 2 mins walk from the beach! Super clean apartment, comfy bed, plus one free secure gated basement parking space. There is safe & secure building access via a key fob for the stairway, from the parking basement, the lifts, and on each floor corridor door. This security was fantastic and as a woman on my own I felt very safe. Sea views + a balcony + complimentary pods for the coffee machine made sunrises extra special! The apartment is serviced daily, which is magic!! It was a bit noisy during the night, with sounds from people, music and cars on the street, although this isn’t any fault of the hosts…. And to be expected when staying in such a central location! Everything else was top notch and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Debs & Alan!

This was not our first stay with Debs, however, the first time at this apartment. Debs is amazing, kind, accommodating, friendly and a superb host. She and Alan respond timeously, keep you updated and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and pleasant. Definitely not the last that I will be vacationing in one of the apartments that Debs and Alan manage.
