We had a fantastic stay! The home was super clean, clutter-free and had everything we needed, including thoughtful touches like tea and coffee. The location is fantastic, right on the beach and within easy walking distance of uMhlanga. We loved the large balcony with its beautiful sea views and were lucky enough to spot numerous pods of dolphins and even whales in the distance! The pool was lovely, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, a wonderful place to stay — we’d happily return and highly recommend it.

It’s a lovely block of apartments, however, this apartment needs a lot of maintenance and upgrades. There was a noticeable smell that did not go away throughout the stay, it was like a dirty mop smell. Some of the dishes are old and need to be upgraded, the bathrooms definitely need to be upgraded and always had a bad smell. The cleaner did come clean but the cloth used to wipe had that same horrible smell which stays in the entire apartment. Apartment needs some carpets/rugs to make it feel more cosy. I feel the towels should be replaced every day and not just every 3 days but that’s just my way of doing things. The hosts were super nice, responsive and kind. They allowed us to do an early check in and a little late check out. They checked in on us and had the communication method open all the time. If anything I would rebook this apartment just to support the hosts.

Towels are changed after 3 nights per stay. Bed linen is changed after 7 nights per stay. Maximum of 6 guests per apartment including children over 2 years old. No parties or events allowed. No smoking of any kind allowed inside. Keep doors and windows closed when the aircon is on. Hanging things over the balcony is not allowed. Do not throw cigarette butts or anything else from the balcony. Be considerate of noise levels for neighbours especially after 10pm and before 9am. No glass is allowed in the pool area. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult - Gather used towels
