We had a great stay. Check in time was flexible which was great since we arrived early. Place was clean. The place is right by the beach which was very nice. We could also watch the ocean at night by our windows. Hosts were very kind, friendly and pro active.

Alan and Debs have a great place in a lovely location. Communicating with them was very easy. Check in was convenient. Direct access to beach. Safe and secure location. Off road parking. Daily cleaning was a bonus. Flexible departure. Everything we needed. Easy walk to town for meals/drinks. Location convenient for Chilling / Pool / Beach / Golf / Gateway mall (other smaller malls). Really nice trip for the 5 of us to get away and relax. Highly recommend.

The experience is even better in person , the ocean views and soothing sounds are truly unmatched. Every room is air-conditioned, and there’s a smart TV if you’d like to catch some MrHowMuch videos on YouTube. You can often spot dolphins gliding through the water, and the beach is literally right downstairs. Alan’s communication is excellent, making the stay even smoother. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and give it a solid 10 out of 10. Proper Stuff

Staying at the place was very pleasant, neat & spacious. The place was according to the specification. The hosts were superb👌 in terms of communication and the friendliness. They have allowed us to drop off our luggage before checking in and managed to check us in before our time since we have arrived early. We were so amazed to find our luggage inside the apartment on our arrival. We also enjoyed our cleaning lady who was accommodative, she is a loving person. The only challenge we had was the lifts that were not operational for two days, hoping the building management will do something about the matter. In a nutshell, we had a great time.

The unit had items that were very well thought of. Beach umbrellas and extra beach towels were so handy, as well as a drying rack to keep them. Nespresso machine and capsules were a lovely treat! Increadible view over the ocean. Please consider moving to another platform - airbnb was so difficult to get a verification done, and i felt like you couldn't help me from your side :(

Great stay overall! The apartment was nice, clean, and in a convenient location, making it easy to get around. While it would have been even better with a microwave and washing machine, it still provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I’d recommend it to others and would stay again!

I honestly cannot fault the unit,AT ALL. The views from the lounge and bedrooms are stunning, with full view and sounds of the ocean, we had some great whale sightings too! Absolutely enjoyed every moment at Bermudas. The beach is easily accessible and the views absolutely stunning. You can see the entire Bermudas apartment is very well maintained. From the time we got there, we were welcomed by someone, who showed us how to check in and then took us to the apartment. From the cleaning staff to the receptionist, they were all really great. The apartment was serviced daily and very neat and clean. I was surprised at how spacious the apartment was and it definitely met all our needs. Very centrally located for easy travel around Durban. We also travelled with my elderly mum in a wheelchair and I must say, getting around was not that hectic. There are a few stairs we had encountered, but this information was provided early on and we still chose to go ahead with the booking. Great communication from Debs/Alan all the way through from the booking with all my queries until check-out. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to returning in the future.

What an incredible apartment! Firstly, it’s right at the beach so the view is amazing, we saw whales and dolphins from our patio. When we first stumbled upon this apartment on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Alan and Debs are the most thoughtful, gracious hosts EVER, a BIG A VERY HUGE favour was thrown in the package and once again would like to say thank you… 
The apartment contains EVERYTHING one needs, if food did not expire I believe they would provide that too haha…

The beds are comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredible.

They went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable.

Debs was an amazing host! Firstly the sunrises from the flat are incredible. It’s right in front of the beach the sounds of the ocean as we slept was amazing. Debs was so friendly and spent a good 30 mins or so chatting to us about what to do in Durban where to eat etc etc she was lovely very accommodating. Highly recommend anyone who is looking for a family friendly apartment in Umhlanga to look at The Bermudas through Debs and Alan. They were excellent hosts and extremely flexible in terms of check in, though we arrived later than expected, Debs was there waiting to show us around. She was very prompt in all communications and they attended to any of our requests straight away, including a few small maintenance issues and recommendations for various things from laundry to transport. As for the apartment...it was great, I mean the views alone were well worth it, beautiful early morning vistas of the Indian Ocean as you woke, what more could one want! It was tastefully decorated and perfectly appointed, bonus of having A/Cs in all rooms! Easy beach and promenade access. The only thing I would suggest is some backup power for the WiFi, so one could work through the load shedding, otherwise was perfect! Thanks Debs and Alan, will certainly be our 1st choice when next in Umhlanga.

The apartment was stunning, nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of the ocean! Besides a great location the apartment was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Such a beautiful apartment with stunning views and easy access to the beach. For a family with kids it was perfect. I loved the attention to detail- the baby cot and baby tableware provided. The apartment is really well stocked with everything from flashlights for power outages to first aid kits and salt and pepper. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay again!

Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable from the moment we checked in. Unit 901 was ideal, comfortable, immaculate and serene, so much so that 8 nights was just not enough! Alan (Debs partner) received and welcomed us personally and communication between us and our hosts was fantastic. The unit was fully equipped with all the comforts of home and also had a solid WiFi connection and a full Dstv premium package not forgetting the top notch Nespresso full house plus SMEG appliances. Our hosts were flexible with our check-in and also ensured that the unit was cleaned daily according to our time preference. Can't wait to return to this very same unit with Debs and Alan in the future.

This is the second time we stayed at this unit. It is very conveniently located and provides access to fantastic views from the 9th floor. We always enjoyed staying in this unit. What a refreshing week and much needed break with the family after lockdown. The place looks exactly like the pics, modern, sparkly and clean and amazing views. Debbie and Alan were great hosts and super professional and friendly, in touch when we needed and even arranged an early check-in. The apartment had all the comforts needed including beach towels and it was serviced daily so no beds or dishes to be done. Loved the little touches, coffee machine and chocolates. Easy access to the beach and superb views and location. We were a family of 4 and would definitely recommend it . Soul therapy .

Alan and Deb's are amazing people. We were allowed to check in really early even though it usually isn't allowed. Alan welcomed us and walked us through everything. Even was kind enough to help with luggage which isn't his job to do so. We had a issue with DStv and within and hour another decoder was brought to the unit. Overall these are just downright awesome kind people. Do yourself a favour and book this spot. The apartment is amazing and the views are spectacular. The space is clean. The beds are comfortable. Everything is just superb.

The unit was as per the photos if not better. The unit was clean and very comfortable. We felt very much at home and relaxed in the unit. Both Debs and Alan were extremely hospitable and did everything they could to make us enjoy and make the best out of our stay. During our stay - we had an issue with the DStv which both Alan and Debs took upon themselves to fix as soon as the problem to fix, and Debs kept me up to date with the progress throughout the day. I would without a doubt stay at this accommodation again and would consider any other accommodation hosted by Debs and Alan. The personal attention received from both of them is better than we have ever received from any other accommodation. Thank you for everything and we will be back

Our stay was wonderful. The apartment is in an excellent position and tastefully done. The unit is very clean and bright. The building is clean and secure with very friendly staff. Alan and Debs are superb hosts, anticipating ones every need. Last time we had an umbrella delivered to us on the beach in a moments notice. This time we had need of a wheelchair which was delivered to our front door within an hour of arrival. Alan and Debs communicate very well with their guests and check-in is always smooth, friendly and welcoming. The bed linen was of superior quality as were the towels, including the beach towels. The day light is very good, the apartment is bright and has an excellent view. The lighting at night is very good in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. However, the lighting in the lounge at night is dull. We will be back soon.

Usually when you book online the pictures are very different to what you see but this apartment I'm glad to say was far better than the pictures.truly a home away from home .from toothpicks to adapters to utensils the hosts have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Expect an apartment that is 5star with no compromise :) Attention to detail is excellent by Debs and Allan in terms of renting out this apartment. From the 5star cleanliness of the apartment and pristine immaculate condition of the bedrooms and the linen and bathrooms , these are all criticially important points for me when renting out an apartment .... The view is amazing. Debs and Allan are extremely wonderful and very accommodating. Most importantly it is a STUNNING apartment. 10/10 in terms of look and feel and the design of the apartment and cleanliness. The beach proximity and the view is simply amazing and the best , one cannot ask for much better. The beach is a mere 50 meters from the apartment. The view is absolutely stunning. Apartment block is extremely safe and secure The apartment is newly renovated and would recommend that anyone stays there for a holiday or business break. Again , well done to Debs and Allan for maintaining such high standards - always great to rent an apartment that is well maintained and that reaches a scoring of 10/10 given the standards that i select apartments with all my travels :)

Debs and Alan are such great hosts! They communicated with me from a week prior to my visit up to the day we arrived , they accommodated our late check in and were at hand to assist whenever needed during our stay. The apartment itself is beautiful and airy with beautiful modern finishes and sparkling clean! Smelled divine from the moment we stepped in. Perfectly placed by the beach... about 200m or so walk to the beach. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

The home is located by the beach, meaning it has great sea view from the main bedroom and balcony. The decor is morden and beautiful. Our stay was outstanding. I recommend this place highly (and I've stayed in many and don't easily recommend). The apartment is exceptionally clean and well run with service every morning. The toilet paper, soap, tea, coffee, milk etc were replaced daily and the apartment cleaned daily. Towels were replaced on the third day and beach towels that had a lot of use were quietly removed and replaced.......the beach towels were beautiful. Debs was an excellent host, taking excellent care of us the entire time we were there e.g. the first morning on the beach was very hot and I WhatsApped a message asking where I could get a beach umbrella. Within 45mins Debs had personally sourced one for us and brought it right down to our spot on the beach. The apartment has a beautiful view and is right on Bronze Beach. The walk from the gate to the beach can't be more than 100 steps. The beach is clean, has life savers, public toilets, chairs and umbrellas for hire and a small store for drinks and ice creams. The building is well run, well maintained, secure and clean. Sadly, the pool was undergoing renovation while we were there but it will be beautiful when complete and is nice and large. Debs stayed in contact with us from the time we landed at the airport and check in was very smooth and welcoming. I expect that we will return again and again.

It is hard to beat the location and views from this apartment. Apartment is well maintained with modern finishes. Had a fantastic time in this well-appointed Airbnb. Was very comfortable and had very useful information on entertainment within the area. Great restaurants within easy walking distance. Would love to come back again!

What a gem of a place right on the beach. Debs and Alan are incredible hosts who make you feel at home from the very first communication. The apartment is stylish, and exceeded my expectations in every way. Easy access to the beach, and a location that cannot be beat. Having stayed at most facilities in Durban over the years I can confidently say that this takes the top place, and I can only hope to return to 901 Bermudas as soon as possible

my stay with Debs was amazing! They were great hosts! I have stayed in a lot of places around uhmlanga and this was definitely the best so far.. the view is spectacular, and walking distance from the village..with great extras- Nespresso Machine, and everything you would need in a kitchen. The rest of the apartment is very spacious and clean..I would definitely recommend staying here ! 🌊🌊

Amazing! Comfortable beds,clean linen,view is to die for,everything is within a walkable distance,restaurants,shopping mall,the beach and the most famous hotels in KZN. Debs and Alen were very helpful and quickly responded to texts.The welcome was beautiful and warm. Busi the cleaning lady,cleans like a pro.She treated us like queens,changed our towels,made our beds she even offered to iron for us⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ll definitely recommend this duo and their apartment and I’ll definitely stay again😊

Alan and Debs are great hosts to an amazingly clean and beautifully decorated apartment! The view is to die for.. felt like I was sitting on the sand! Hotel like living in this space. They made our stay super special with extra touches that made us feel like royalty! We will definitely be back!
