A Gem in Umhlanga! We received a warm welcome at the property from Gaye who checked us in and showed us the beautiful apartment. From the moment we entered we were wowed by the views! And the apartment was spotless and smelled fresh. The place was so clean, beautifully decorated and so perfectly located - at the doorstep of Bronze Beach but with easy access to restaurants and quick access to highways to go to different activities outside of Umhlanga. Property was serviced daily which was a plus. Wonderful, helpful and responsive hosts too! Thanks Debs and Alan for an amazing stay!

Our experience from the onset was fantastic. We requested a baby feeding chair, a cot, and additional appliances prior to our arrival, and the hosts accommodated every single request without hassle. ​When we arrived, check-in was completely seamless—the hosts had left the keys for us, making getting settled in effortless. First impressions of the apartment were spot on: it was exceptionally clean, neat, and looked exactly like the photos online. ​They are truly great hosts—friendly, always available, and constantly ready to help. Their communication was fantastic throughout our stay. We will definitely be back to stay with them again! Highly recommended!

Just a huge thank you to Alan for his assistance with allowing an earlier checkin. Place is stunning and was so clean and neat. Pods for the dishwasher, teas and coffee pods and a daily cleaning service all included . Well worth it. Location is amazing and in walking distance to many amenities.

Excellent beach holiday spot - overlooking the ocean. The sound of the ocean drowns out all sounds from the city and all you feel is peace. Long walks on the beach and promenade even all the way to Umdloti and back. Friendly locals and safe environment. Wide clean beach for the kids to enjoy and lifeguards on Bronze and main beach. Accommodation had all we could need and more. Spotless preparation before each guest’ arrival with daily cleaning services and a refill of Nespresso pods. Beds were very comfortable and spaces were clear of clutter. We stayed in unit 604 and 1102 and both were top class. We highly recommend these units and would love to stay again.

What an incredible location and amazing hosts. The check-in process was seamless and they went as far as to help my Mom with a wheelchair when she suddenly didn’t feel well. Had a lovely stay at Deb’a & Alan’s place! Communication from the hosts was excellent throughout my stay. Both check in and check out was seamless. The views of the ocean from the apartment were amazing, particularly from the master. The apartment came with everything you’d need to stay comfortably and is as pictured. All staff around the building were very helpful and welcoming and appreciated the housekeeping during our stay also. We felt at home & had a very pleasant stay!

Absolutely amazing stay — 10/10! The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. Super clean and well-maintained. It’s also very kid-friendly, which I really appreciated. I had packed my own plasticware for my little one, only to find out they already had everything — plates, cups, bowls, even some toys! Such a thoughtful touch. Allan was probably the best host I’ve ever met in all my trips. Extremely responsive and genuinely kind. There was a bit of miscommunication on my end, which led to him waiting for me for over 45 minutes — I felt terrible! But he was so understanding and sweet about it. All in all, an awesome experience. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone — especially families. Thanks again, Allan!

Location , location, location! though the interior is slightly older , the place was pristine , our host was absolutely lovely and warm, very spacious. We had a 3rd bedroom surprise . all along with we thought it was 2 bedroom. It was really worth every penny. The apartments are always spotlessly clean Debs and Alan are such helpful hosts - any little problems get sorted on the day without fail. Super hosts!!! We arrived earlier and Alan and Debs allowed us to check in. We were welcomed warmly upon arrival and felt right at home. The apartment has an amazing view right infront of Bronze beach. It's clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Towels and linen were regularly changed. Daily service was superb and Onele was friendly and efficient. We'd highly recommend the apartment and hosts anytime.

Amazing house. Catered to all our needs. Beautiful scenery, ocean view. They had emough towels and complementary tea and coffee (no milk though). The only down side was we were told we making moise at 6pm. A group of 6 people will be louder than a couple but this was just from talking (no music or tvl). That rubbed us the wrong way and ruined the mood.

Debs and Alan communicated with us before and during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. They were great hosts. The apartment is so stunning, comfy and clean. Its walking distance to the beach. The apartment and linen is in prestine condition. The entire place is air conditioned and offers stunning views. Uber eats/Mr D for food has plenty of offers which is what we made use of. There was cleaning services the next day which is so helpful. The helper that arrived was friendly and did her job quickly and thoroughly. I recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to enjoy a stay at the beach. I will be back again soon!

The apartment is located in an excellent area with the beach, restaurants and malls being in walking distance. The view from the apartment is amazing. Alan is the most attentive host I’ve experienced so far. He is proactive and responds within a minute. The guest information provided in the unit goes above and beyond what is expected; it details everything you need to know including some historical background on tourist attractions. The place was clean and house keeping is set to a time of your preference. The internet and television services are exceptional and the kitchen is well equipped. Coming from a resort my family and I were looking for a more domestic feel. We walked in and felt right at home. On some days we cancelled plans to stay home and relax. We would go back any day.

Fantastic hosts and wonderful place to stay. The apartment is squeaky clean, beautifully kitted out and an absolutely fantastic place to spend time away. The proximity to great restaurants and the most spectacular view of the beach, ocean and especially the dolphins and whales makes this place the best venue I have stayed in Durban by far. Pleasant stay at Debs apartment. The view is stunning. The location is excellent for Bronze Beach. The promenade walkway below takes you to the village with restaurants, supermarket and shopping mall, in a 20 minute stroll. Daily housekeeping at a time to suit us. We were kept informed of the load shedding time each day by text. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy bed where you can listen to the sea rolling in which is relaxing.

I like waking up to the roar of the ocean, it's the most beautiful and clean apartment. Sne the housekeeper is friendly, and Alan treats you like a friend he has known forever, Maxwell at the reception never stops smiling and making sure you feel at home. I have stayed in the apartment more than 4 times first I booked was om another platform, I keep returning here for I feel at home. The night life is to die for and within walking distance you won't have to risk drinking and driving, and it is safe to walk home at night. Direct access to the beach and the swimming pool on the 5th floor is the answer to any visitor.

Deb is an exceptional host. She is extremely accommodating and helpful. Her place is spotless and comfortable and she goes the extra mile to make sure all your needs are met. The view is spectacular and it’s priceless to be on the beachfront where you can actually experience peace and tranquility. Sadly, places like Deb’s are a rare find as so many tall buildings and a huge mall are being crammed into once was a quaint little village. Thank you Deb for keeping this part of Umhlanga real and offering accommodation that allows me to really take in the beauty and relax.

Hosts were good communicators however they only give you a towel change every 3 days which is completely unreasonable when you come on a beach holiday for a week. The unit we stayed in definitely needed a good scrub in all corners. Unfortunately we also had a very smelly couch and cushions which could have been from sweaty previous guests. The cushions on the beds were dirty and needed dry cleaning and the pillows were all over used and flat. My experience here was not the best unfortunately.

If there was anything to improve, it would be a way to lock the main bedroom's door and the internet. Everything else was waaayyy beyond expectations. It was just perfect.

Great place and location. View excellent. 5 star place. Water shedding was an issue in the area though for 12 - 14 hours a day during my stay. Apart from that this place is excellent.

What a beautiful and tastefully furnished apartment! The sea views welcome you from the moment you open the front door! My family and I loved our stay and it felt like our home away from home - very comfortable with the difference of magnificent sea views. Debs & Alan were great hosts, who communicated effectively and were very responsive. Will definitely visit again!

Brilliant location, spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated unit. Alan, who checked us in, was so professional, friendly and always available. the bath in the main bedroom was so lovely as it looks out onto the view of the ocean. The unit has everything you need for a self-catering getaway. We will definitely be back! :)

Wow, what an experience! As you walk trough the door of the unit (which is situated on the 11th floor), you are immediately hit by the awesome views of the ocean and the beach, and start relaxing right away! The unit has full dstv, excellent air conditioning in all rooms, a nice small, intimate balcony where all 4 of us were able to sit and enjoy the views while sipping on cocktails (or coffee, in the mornings, watching the sunrise), a fully functional kitchen, and glorious living and dining areas. Access to the beach is easy, and the shops and restaurants are mostly within walking distance of the complex. There is also a lovely refreshing swimming pool, with ocean views on the 5th floor. The service was excellent - when we had a question (e.g. what the best place is to treat the kids to sushi), the replies were almost immediate. Debs' husband Alan is always around somewhere in the complex for advice and assistance - one morning we bumped into him and chatted a bit, and I mentioned that we were planning to braai the afternoon, but that it doesn't look like there were a braai tong in the unit. Within 10 minutes Alan supplied us with a braai tong! Speaking of braai-ing, that is perhaps the only (small) negative. There are braai facilities, but it is on one side of the building, without any views of the garden/ swimming pool/ ocean. So, you basically make your fire, braai your meat and then take everything up to the unit and enjoy it in the comfort provided there - the braai area is not really designed for families to sit, relax and chat at while the meat is on the grid. All in all, a fantastic experience, and real value for money. We will surely, when we get the opportunity to visit the North Coast again, first search for availability of Debs' places!

The view is spectacular and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves makes this the perfect location. It is at the quieter end of Umhlanga, which worked out perfectly for us. Loved that every room had an air con - we needed it to cope with the summer heat. We really appreciated the regular communication and personal touches that made our stay special.
