We arrived by taxi from the train station. Anna met us at the apartment, showed us everything we needed, very helpful. Great location, airy and comfortable apartment, comfortable beds, close to grocery store. Metro only a few blocks away which we used for Sagrada Familia since it was raining. (It’s about a 40 minute walk.). Barcelona is a lovely walkable city and we would stay here again.

The apartment is very cute and squeaky clean. Easy to navigate from the location. Lots of things are walkable, lots of restaurants nearby. Check-in process was great. Maria met us earlier than scheduled time which was really helpful after traveling all night. Gave us a lot of info on the apartment and local area. The location of this apartment is very convenient to shops and the Metro. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The kitchen was minimally stocked compared to other AirBNBs that we have stayed at in Spain - no coffee pods for example. Also when I asked for a couple of more towels the host refused, which I’ve never experienced at any AirBNB anywhere. Overall it was fine, but you won’t feel particularly warm about it.

Best check-in we have ever had. Were met as we got out of taxi. Complete instructions and tour of rental. Answered all our questions. Location was perfect. Max of 30 minutes walk to almost everything we wanted to see. Also, taxi’s easy to get, right outside the front door. Was very quiet inside.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Everything we needed. Beds and pillows comfortable. We loved the location of the apartment, we were able to walk everywhere quite easily. The location is quiet but with bars and restaurants easy reach around. Bus stop from the airport is right outside. Great comms from owners who met us in person. Overall we were very happy! The place is in a neighborhood well connected to everything both by public transport and on foot. Aerobus to the airport with a stop a few minutes' walk from the apartment. The house is well equipped and clean. We really appreciated the possibility of having a washing machine and, above all, a dryer. The only defect may be a little small in the second room, but the bed is very comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality! This apartment was an excellent choice for our stay in Barcelona. The metro was easily accessible, and the area was lively, yet very safe. The furniture and the beds were very comfortable. Having access to all of the appliances, including a washer and dryer, was very convenient. The windows provided excellent insulation and we were never bothered by noise from the street. The building was extremely quiet with respect to the tenants. Instructions provided by the host and the greeter were thorough and response time to any questions we had was very good. Would definitely recommend this property.

Exceptional location, 2 mins from metro. 15 mins to plaza cataluna. Got an unlimited 30 day metro pass and was able to travel everywhere from U’rgell as it’s right in the middle of everything but far enough away from the intensity of Barcelona city itself. The perfect location for your first time in Barcelona. Windows are double glazed, so we couldn’t hear any noise at all, building safe and area safe. Washer and dryer a lifesaver with a small child. Beds are comfy and host amazing! So glad we choose this accom

The apartment was steeply clean. The location is very good, close to Passeig de Gràcia. The host Maria was very responsive, and welcomed us very well. The property has a good space and the kitchen equipment is top notch. I felt a lack of natural light and ventilation, especially in the bedrooms and bathrooms, but I understand that this is a common problem in the city's central real estate.

Stayed here with my family (2 small kids and 3 adults). The location was walking distance to the center of the city near all the great shopping areas. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with great restaurants and bars right downstairs. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Jaume was an excellent host from beginning to end. He answered all of my questions prior to booking and was extremely responsive to me before we arrived, making sure we got what we needed before coming to Spain. His manager, Anna, was extremely accessible and got us into the apartment without issues and was helpful in meeting all of our needs. The place was in a great location with lots of stores and restaurants/cafes around to get what we needed. Elevator was helpful for the two strollers we had and he made sure he had two pack and plays ready for us as per my request. The house was clean with all the amenities one could need. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Apt is nicely furnished and very much like the pictures. Maria contacted us before arrival and kept good communication. Our train arrived early, and she was able to get us into the apt early, greatly appreciated since we had a bunch of bags. Great having 2 bathrooms, both were spacious with plenty of hot water. The chaise lounge in the living room is a nap inducer! Location is fairly central, there is a large grocery store across the street, and it is very close to subway stations. I did find though that the attractions we wanted to see and restaurants we wanted to go to were either a 10 minute cab ride or a 20 - 25 minute walk away. In hindsight, it might have been better for us to stay closer to the Gothic quarter. One tip - make sure you are fairly clear with when you are going to check out. We left early but our niece stayed until closer to checkout, and she was woken up by a man opening her bedroom door. As you can imagine, this was very scary for her.

The apartment is lovely, just what you see in the photos. We were able to cook, do laundry, work, sightsee, and enjoy exploring the area. The location was perfect with easy access to sites but less touristy for eating out. Ignore the grocery store suggestion (tiny bodega) and do a search for your own. The little empanada place down the block is incredible. Local tapas was better than anything we ate in the tourist areas. Check-in was terrific -- flexible, on time, informative. Good instruction booklet. One bedroom is smaller (bit of space around bed and closet). Other one is large. Great light in LR. Lots of leather furnishings. Very comfortable. It had everything we needed.

I wouldn't hesitate to book this unit again! Great location with public transportation just steps away and walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The complex was quiet and felt safe. This unit is on the 6th floor, so the elevators were much appreciated after a long day of exploring! The unit was a treat to return to each day - clean, comfortable beds, modern upgrades, high-speed internet so we could work, and a washer and dryer. The pictures of the apartment on Airbnb were accurate which was great - what you see is what you get. The checkin was terrific - someone actually met us and showed us how to get in and around the apartment. The location was good also. On the edge of the Gothic Quarter so 15-30 minute walk about anywhere you want to go (with the exception of the Park Gruell). The only negative is that some of the information on the Airbnb site (features, checkin/checkout times) doesn't match the actual. So just be careful to review all of the information you receive from the agent prior to your check in.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment for our two weeks in Barcelona. The apartment was in a very secure building near multiple grocery stories, great restaurants and several modes of transportation. We also loved the Sant Antoni area that the apartment was in, as it was peaceful but still easy to get all around the city. The apartment was very clean throughout and matched the pictures in the listing. The central AC was absolutely incredible during the July heat and the apartment was so refreshing to return to after exploring during the day. Jaume also went above and beyond to find me hypo-allergenic bedding when he found out I was allergic to down-feathers. Would stay here again!

We had a terrific stay at the Livingstone apartment in the St. Antoni neighborhood. The apartment is great - both bedrooms are well sized and the living room is as well. Very nicely stocked kitchen too. We loved the location - its about a 20-30 minute walk to the Ramblas and Gothic Quarter (or a short ride on the subway) so it was great to be so close to there but far enough away that the area wasn't mobbed with tourists. There is a great food market 2 blocks away and there are metro stops on 2 different lines both within 5 minutes. So many good restaurants in the area too and lots of grocery stores nearby should you want to cook in the apartment. A great stay overall. Communication was very proactive and helpful.

We stayed at a few different places in Barcelona and this was probably our favorite for location, it just seems very handy to evrything. The host was a little upset we hadnt communicated our flight number becuase our flight was delayed which then caused customs to take about 1.5 hours to get through and we couldnt commicate this as needed to visit the vodafone store to get credit etc, apart from that small hick up it everything with check in was smooth and was a enjoyable stay… Thanks again

This apartment is centrally located in a building that feels safe. It is on the 6th (and top) floor with two good elevators. It has plenty of light in the living room and kitchen and dining room. It is a lively neighborhood but has good windows so that it is not noisy.

The location is great. We walked to most places. There is a great market nearby. The person who met us showed us around and they were flexible about letting us enter early. The place is quite pretty. The water in the main bathroom and the kitchen never got hotter than luke warm. This was reported to the host so I hope it is corrected before the next guest arrives. Things that could be improved. The is only one outlet in the kitchen so you cannot make toast and coffee at the same time. There is only one lamp in the livingroom so finding a place for more than one person to read or do something doesn't work. The lighting in the bathrooms was not great. We did enjoy the location and it was comfortable, just some annoyances.

The apartment is clean and well equipped and brilliantly located if you are taking the Aeroport bus. The apartment is within walking distance to many sights and amenities, an easy 20 min walk to Pl Catalunya, and 10 min walk to the Mercato Sant Antoni, and many lovely restaurants and eateries for every budget within the area.

Genuinely fantastic apartment, location was perfect literally a minutes walk from the aerobus on arrival and Urgell metro, the apartment itself is completely true to all the images, in fact bigger than I expected and so well stocked in terms of appliances. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed, Maria and Anna were absolutely brilliant in terms of comms and check in, after a nightmare delayed flight and the airport losing the baby's pushchair Maria was so patient and kind and Anna so helpful with communicating. "Livingstone" was a sanctuary to return to after a busy day's sightseeing: quiet, beautifully laid out, spotless, and tranquil. We especially appreciated this because it's perfectly located for traversing the city--a block away from the aerobus & red line, and two blocks from the purple line--with lots of walking nearby.

Our stay was fantastic. Anna welcomed us very well and gave us recommendations for restaurants, places to visit and references. She always responded to our texts, communication was excellent. The apartment was perfect, comfortable, bright, and very well air-conditioned. We slept in comfortable beds with good bedding. No noise to disturb us at night. Nothing was missing and the air conditioning was not noisy. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from Las Ramblas and we went by taxi everywhere in the city for no more than €8. In the neighborhood you can find restaurants and cafes. I will recommend the apartment.

It was on a high floor so it was quiet in the evening for good sleeping.Plenty of good restaurants and food markets nearby. The only thing that was not as described was the wifi was very slow. Young couple, we stayed for one entire month, working and leaving in the apartment. The overall experience was great and we highly recommend it. The apartment is equipped with everything one could need on a long stay - washing machine, drier, dishwasher, coffee maker, electrical oven and microwave oven. The area is also very nice. The neighborhood is part of Eixample, with lots of restaurants and bars, on the route of the Aerobuses(direct line with the airport), close to metro stations but also in walking distance to more lively areas like Gothic neighborhood and La Rambla. Had one issue with the internet provider but Jaume was prompt in solving it.

We had a lovely stay in Barcelona. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Communication was prompt and helpful. The apartment was in a good position for us, as it wasn’t in the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but was only a short 10 min walk away. The local metro station was only a block away. The Livingstone Apt. in Barcelona was wonderful. It suited our needs very well. Meeting our daughter after she had 6 weeks in hostels in Europe she was so very happy to have a Washer and Dryer, and a room to her own after all the Hostel Visits. We were happy to have a fridge and coffee maker. Both showers had fine water temperature and fine water pressure. Everything you need is in the Apt. We walked 10+ miles a day an enjoyed experiencing the local venues. Anne was very responsive with the few questions we had. We would stay there again, but will probably visit another city in Spain. This apartment doesn't come close to the way its represented in photos. The mattresses in the bedroom are terrible, nothing like what I expected and certainly not something I would ever consider staying in again. The duvet in each bedroom was dirty and stained. The wifi went out during our stay and the host had to come over to fix it. Appreciate that the host met me and my co-traveler separately to check us both in; however, plus listings are supposed to have keypads for self check in and this one didn't. The air conditioning is strong and the location is convenient enough.

Pros: Good location, easy to go anywhere.The kitchen is more fully equipped and it is convenient to cook. Disadvantages: First, we collected the tourist tax as soon as we arrived, because of the communication problem and the b******t.How can we leave this tax to you, what does airbnb do?Second, it's a big look at the photos, but in fact it's not big, especially the bedroom, you can't put your suitcase down.Again, there were places that were bad, like the middle of the bed in the main bedroom collapsed, and the shower head in the bathroom didn't have a good support.Finally, not even a quilt!

Entire experience was positive. Apartment was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Building felt safe. Location was a bit far from the touristy spots, but close to a metro stop. Excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Hosts were attentive and easy to reach. Only one small issue - wifi was a little slow and/or spotty at times, but serviceable overall.

We didn't have a good experience in the apartment. Late check-in is expensive for an apartment in this price range, bed in one of the rooms was falling apart and had to be changed. But it was changed after 2 nights - the apartment should have not been available for rent in this shape by my opinion. Also the cleaning lady went inside 2x without any notice, ringing. The apartment is not a good value for the price overall.

We had a nice stay at the apartment which was well located close to two metro stations and in walking distance of la Rambla. It was peaceful and quiet inside and we didn't hear noise from any other apartments. It's a good place to base yourself for a stay in Barcelona. We enjoyed our morning smoothies at the local coffee bar that was recommended to us by the helpful apartment manager Anna who also sent us other recommendations of things to do over the Easter weekend. We had a slight issue with the bathroom door which locked itself when we closed it so couldn't get back inside the bathroom. In the end we managed to use a wire to unlock it. The management company have taken our feedback on board to avoid this happening to future visitors.

This is a wonderful apartment with a clean and modern feel and has great light in the living areas. It is easily accessibe to metro lines (Urgell and San Antoni). There are many grocery stores and veg/fruit vendors and lots of great shopping. So many great places to eat nearby for all meal types. There is parking in their garage (fee) but I wouldn't attempt street parking. We have found that you don't need a car in Barcelona as the Metro/Railway lines are so easy to use. But if you do need a car, the parking is convenient. The apartment has great water pressure and a modern kitchen. The Washer, Dryer and Dishwasher all work well. There is some washing detergent available for appliances and paper towels and plenty of toilet paper are provided. There is coffee and filters (bring your own press if you prefer that method), tea, salt, Oil and Vinegar stocked in the kitchen. You can upgrade to a Nespresso Machine for a fee. The wifi worked really well for us as did the TV, and you can upgrade with a portable wifi to carry with you about town for a fee. The bed in the master bedroom is a bit weary and acceptable for a short stay but not best for a longer stay. This apartment is managed by a company as opposed to an individual owner and we notified them regarding the bed.

This place was great for our stay. My boyfriend and I have never been to Barcelona, let alone Europe, so we weren't really sure the good locations to stay, and the type of apartment we would get. My frame of reference for European apartments is House Hunters International, and many of those apartments are quirky and small. This place was quite the opposite, in a good way. The master bedroom was large, and though the second bedroom was smaller, it was functional and had a wardrobe that was plenty large. The bathrooms were great and the central heat kept us cozy. The living room was quite comfortable and kitchen had everything needed. Being on the 6th floor, we didn't feel too closed in, which seemed plausible if you were on the lower floors, as most buildings around there are 6 or 7 stories. Lastly, the secure entry way and security keys offered a safe setting. The listing did not mislead, and we were pleasantly surprised with the location and apartment itself. Most importantly, the communication was great. Anna (who checked us in), reached out the day before our trip and offered us good advice on getting to and from the airport, as well as some tips on exploring some of the local sites and getting around town. It was nice to be put at ease prior to the trip, knowing that our check-in would not be a problem. We arrived at 8:00 on Christmas Eve, so it was nice to know that there wouldn't be any hiccups. I would recommend this apartment to any friends and family, and will be a repeat renter when I go back.

The apt itself is fine, if not a bit sterile, much like a hotel. We had multiple other more serious issues, including 1) no consistent hot water in showers, hidden charges, and an extremely challenging to deal with apartment manager. (see details below) First, we had a very difficult time dealing with Jaume, who runs the corporation that manages this apartment (do not rent this thinking you are renting from a person, its managed by a company.) So be prepared to be treated like you are at a big hotel chain, but without the loyalty program status! Juame let the deadline pass beyond when we could cancel our reservation without answering our questions we had emailed him about a crib etc.. He also preferred email to the airbnb app and our communication via email is now untraceable by Airbnb. Next he informed us the day before we got on our flight that we would have to pay an additional "hotel tax" equivalent to half a night's stay. This "tax" was NEVER mentioned in the listing. Then when we arrived after an overnight flight with a two year old, he refused to leave until we paid it. When we argued that we had not been aware of this tax (again, it was not in the listing), he said, "why don't you trust me, how about we start with that?" When we went to shower after our very long flight, we soon discovered that water in the shower only reached room temperature. We complained to Juame who came twice while we were not there and both times reported that there was no problem. Finally, we changed our plans so that we could be there when Jaume was there. Once there, he put his hand in the shower, and insisted that "it feels hot to him." He continued to insist that it was hot, despite agreeing (on our next to last day there) to bring in a technician to look at the fixtures. The technician had to leave to purchase spare parts and was unable to install them until after we left. Juame continued to insist the water was hot. As the guest who had just paid Airbnb Plus rates and a hotel tax, here is my husband and I documented: 1. the showers got no more than 10 seconds of actual hot water at a time 2. the rest of the time the water was luck warm 3. there was never enough hot water for two adults to shower (never mind four) 4. there was never enough hot water for our baby to take a warm bath 5. only the sinks got hot water for more than 10 seconds 6. if I were staying for work, and not on vacation, I would have had to move to a different place since I could not wash my hair comfortably 7. Juame brought in a professional to look at the shower, and the professional agreed it needed new parts, but then never came back and Juame continued to deny the lack of hot water 8. I felt like I was his enemy throughout the conversation. At no point did he apologize, acknowledge, or try to help - just deny, deny, deny. Nice apt, but highly stressful interactions with the company that manages the place.

The Livingstone apartment is an attractive, well stocked and perfectly maintained apartment. The washer and dryer are great amenities and allowed us to pack light for our trip. Location is central and close to the Metro. Highly recommend!

You will not find really a huge choice of resturant just under the apartment but basically you are in a strategic position between la rambla from one side and the cathedral from the other suide both just to 2 stops of metro away.

The apartment is a two bed, two bath (one with bath) flat. Clean and in a good location. Well decorated and in good condition throughout. Premium price not reflected in the client service. Have had to award three stars as we had issues that were not resolved, despite being there for four days. The kettle was faulty and fused the electrics. Our host Jaume had learnt about this faulty piece of vital kitchen equipment before we arrived. There was no welcome tea/coffee supplies and we had to buy bin bags. Asked questions about the sheets and duvet covers and questions met with an air of indifference and negativity. There is only a duvet cover supplied - no extra sheets or blankets. Made to feel we were a nuisance. Essentially it is a business of apartment lets rather than a hosting and that difference is noticeable.

The flat is sparkling clean and exactly as described. Being new to Barcelona, Jaume provided an exceptional checkin service and petsonally greeted us upon arrival.. He had a bottle of Cava waiting for us and assisted with dinner reservations to celebrate our anniversary. The flat is centrally located and within walking distance to most areas. The Urgall stop accessing the rail station is a block away. It was very easy to navigate to the Monserrat and other places that were further away. We also took private tours of Sola Raventos and Gramona for Cava tasting. These were both a five star experience. Thank you Jaume for everything!

A Bad Deal! We were looking forward to this short trip and it was negatively impacted by some very poor things in the apartment. The good stuff - great location, shops and restaurants nearby, metro close by, easy walking distance to the centre, safe and secure area and apartment block, very efficient air con, good decor, hosts were friendly and answered promptly before the trip and whilst we were there. The bad stuff - absolutely appalling beds. I haven't slept (or not slept rather) on beds like this since I was back-packing over 20 years ago! Where did you find such cheap, uncomfortable, broken down beds and mattresses? We both got very little sleep and had sore backs and necks the next day. We were happy to pay £660 for 3 nights as we wanted luxury as advertised, so furnishing your guests with cheap and bad beds is unforgivable. We were both very angry about this and it meant instead of being able to sink into lovely luxurious beds (both already being tired as we work hard and travel all week), we spent the nights unable to sleep well and were exhausted. I ended up on the sofa it was so bad. - getting locked out of the bathroom. This is a new one for me - getting locked OUT of your bathroom, We were told it was normal (it is very easy to do btw so watch out) and we needed a hairpin to unlock it, Luckily we had one and after 15 minutes of fiddling, we managed to get back into the bathroom. I would hate to think what would happen if you had a small child in the bath if this happened. Tip is - don't close the doors unless you are inside. - broken window in the sitting room. On the last evening we realised the window wouldn't close so we had the pleasure of roaring traffic drowning out the movie we were trying to watch. I also spent the night listening to the traffic whilst trying to sleep on the sofa. When we rang to report it (worried we had somehow broken it), we were told 'yes we know it is broken, it happens all the time, we can fix it after you have gone'. Why don't you fix it properly or at least tell your guests not to use that particular window. In summary, what could be a really 5 star and comfortable apartment is ruined by cheap short cuts and bad communication. I am angry that you can call this apartment 'luxury' and charge £660 for 3 nights when you have haven't bothered to make it luxury at all. I feel ripped off.

The apartment was exactly as described. It is in a mostly residential area, but only 15 minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya (5 minutes by car). It is on a higher floor - lots of light and nice view. The apartment was clean and in great shape. Communication with Jaume and person who checked us in, Ali, was great - very responsive and helpful. Ali was extremely friendly and nice - gave us advice on parking, groceries, everything. A/C, WiFi, washer, dryer - everything was working as expected. We loved the location of the apartment - living in the city, close to everything, but quiet at night and not in the middle of a tourist block where no one goes to sleep before 3am. We would stay here again.

The apartment is very modern, clean and comfortable. It has most of the amenities one may need. It was nice having a washer and dryer in the apartment. The apartment is part of closed apartment building with an elevator and located in a residential area. There is a metro 1 block away and the My Taxi app works great in Spain. It is a 0.5 miles away from Plaza Catalunya. The area is really safe walk in. The apartment is definitely worth price!

Jaume's apartment is beautiful with lots of light, convenient to stores and an easy walk to Placa Catalunya. The 2 bathrooms were nice with great water pressure.The Barcelona Aerobus stops less than a block from the building and is a great option. They let us check in early which made it very convenient. We liked many of the restaurants and shops in El Born so this was a bit further from that then we would have liked but the apartment was comfortable and very nice.

This apartment was extraordinary! I was there for business and the apartment is extremely well appointed with everything you may need for a comfortable stay. The location is also really wonderful - within easy walking distance to Gothic quarter, Las Ramblas, Born, city center, and so much more! Conveniently located in a quiet residential area with nearby groceries and local restaurants with all the amenities you could ask for. We also really appreciated the washer and dryer! All in all, a tremendous place to stay - whether for work or pleasure!

At first, we rented another apartment by this same host. However, after confirmed the payment, he contacted me and said that the apartment I wanted wasn't available - but didn't explain why. I don't understood either why, if it wasn't available, I could still rent it over Airbnb. He then offered me this other apartment, in another area, which was better and more expensive than the one I selected, but he left it for the same value, which was only fair. The apartment itself is good, well located and spacious, with 2 large bathrooms and a good kitchen. However, the walls were extremely dirty, and I missed a balcony - it only has windows. The overall experience was good, but next time I would try to be in an apartment that felt more like "home".

Jaume was so welcoming and kindly came in from out of town to meet my friend and I (very) last minute after problems with our hotel accomodation. We were there on business, however stayed on for a few days to sight see. The area is superb and within walking distance of all the main sights and attractions. There are also plenty of seriously good restaurants nearby. The apartment itself is beautiful and exactly as described, in fact it's better! The quality of the furniture and fittings is very good, I was also very impressed with the amenities. The apt came with everything you could need, including a guide book. My friend and I comfortably had our own bathrooms which was fantastic. The building is also very secure and has everything you need nearby. I would highly recommend Jaume and this beautiful apartment!

The property is exactly what it looks like on the photos, place is clean, everything one needs is there. A rather comfortable bed which is a pleasant surprise. As for the location - it is in a quite place while very convenient - it is only a walking distance to most places in Barcelona. The host provided a multitude of extras on request too, from airport transfers to parkings and coffee machines. Great stay, would recommend it to anyone and am going to rent it again next time I'm over in the city.

The apartment was lovely, the bus stops nearby, the internet was great. The front door keys did not work on the second door, so we were unable to get in unless we tagged on with other residents or went to the basement garage and up to the apartment, which is on the fourth floor, so if the lift is out of order or you're claustrophobic like my husband it is a long way up. The apartment was clean and spacious, the sound proofing excellent, but it was cooler so windows were closed. The air con was good. The beds were not made up so we had to do it ourselves, plus the plug in the bath tub got stuck so I had to physically lift it out, as twist to lift is stuck.

Wonderful apartment! We are traveling for 5 months and really this apartment. The living room furniture was very comfortable and we were able to access our Netflix account from the television. Fast wifi, nice kitchen, washer AND dryer (yeah!) Two full bathrooms was very nice to have. The windows are soundproof and the walls are well insulated; we didn't hear any noise while we were here. The apartment is professionally managed and they are very helpful and conscientious. A window latch was broken when we arrived and the manager made sure to get it fixed quickly.

The Apartment was lovely and in a great location to explore Barcelona. Just perfect fro and from the airport. Explore the local are around you. The Restored market building will bring another dimension to this area once completed and opened. For visitors do the bicycle tour (fat bike comp) before anything if you can, you will get a real feel of the city. Some suggestions: Get some better pillows. Replace towels with white ones. Provide some bottle water when Guests arrive. TV not sure but could not get any English channel for news!!! Air conditioning very cold when on could not control temp.

Arrival was very easy. We landed in Barcelona early. Jaume accommodated our early arrival and let us into the flat as soon as we reached it. The apartment itself was beautifully clean. The main living space is bright with sunlight through the full wall of windows. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were clean, and shower pressure quite good.

We were met by Ali, who was on time and very good at explaining the features of the apartment, the parking, etc. The apartment itself is in a modern building which is very secure and insulated from the street. It wasn't our usual choice - we tend to go for older buidlings, with charming architectural features, but we were all in agreement that this place was really pleasant - immaculately clean, extremely well equipped, and well located. The beds were very comfortable and the two bathrooms just great. The kitchen had everything you could want, including a washing machine and dryer. Everything looks like new and it all works! Highly recommended.

We found this place after having to leave another near La Rambla because of unexpected construction noise. We were able to make the reservation immediately, as Jaume responded almost instantly to our inquiry. The apartment is in pristine condition and completely modern, with all conveniences. The neighborhood is a regular, mixed business and residential neighborhood that isn't at all touristy, but is in walking distance of the Sant Antoine Market and many good restaurants that are also not touristy. Jaume was responsive to any questions during our stay and all arrangements were very easy. They have a book with restaurant recommendations and other tips that are helpful, and one nearby cafe-restaurant, Reckons, had a tangy orange cake that I am still thinking about!

We stayed there over the Easter weekend in 2014 and had a terrific time staying here. The apartment is very well kept, and everything is brand new. Location-wise it is very close to two metro stops (<5mins walk), and is within 15 minutes walk of La Rambla and most other tourist destinations. The locality in general is quite nice and mostly residential, but with some very nice restaurants nearby. In short, it is a great place to make your base at if visiting Barcelona. Jaume made sure we had absolutely no problems getting here from the airport and even allowed us to leave our luggage at the apartment on the last day because our flight back was in the evening. He is a terrific host and I would readily give a five-star rating for him.
