Compact, small flat in a quiet area. It was clean and tidy. A very small second bedroom. Small balcony. Friendly and enthusiastic Welcome from Maria, who showed us around the apartment. Small supermarkets and a great fresh produce market and bakery nearby. Is a Chinese neighbourhood with many Chinese bazaars and restaurants. Centre and Sagra within walking distance. It was in a good location. Public transport and taxis on the corner.

Apartment strictly matches the photos and description. Property management provided in a highly professional manner by an estate agency. The €500 security deposit and the tourist tax mentioned in the listing are actually handled by Airbnb (and included in the listing price). Maria, the staff member who welcomed us, is truly very friendly and cheerful. She was the highlight of our arrival: she is proactive and very warm. The flat is perfect for a couple and a child. It is very well equipped for cooking, and the utensils are as good as new. The visible household linen (towels, duvet cover, pillowcases, fitted sheet and tea towels) is very clean, but the agency should urgently encourage the owner to invest in new IKEA pillows (which have become excessively yellowed by the sweat of numerous guests) and to fit them with pillow protectors. It would be a good idea to replace or remove the dusty animal-skin rug and cushions.

Great Stay and place, clean and in a good neighborhood. House exactly as described, you have everything to live comfortably. However, check in procedure was not well coordinated between the Airbnb host and party who managed house check in- I had to wait for two hours to check in and had messaged on the app two hours before arriving. You could have been more prepared for check in faster for the guest- it may not possible to agree on exact key collection time very early, in a situation like when your flight is delayed and you are new to the city.

Absolutely LOVED this apartment. María was beyond nice and helpful. She recommended using the metro and because of that we were able to do so much more and it was way cheaper than taxis and faster. Also made you feel like a local. She was extremely responsive as well and was kind enough to bring us a water. The apartment itself was incredible. The beds were so comfortable I slept like a baby and we had so much space. We were central to basically everything and about 15 min away walking from La Sagrada Familia. Another plus is the Asian food everywhere around us was beyond phenomenal. Would highly recommend this and would definitely stay here again.

Apartment in a pleasant and quiet area. Clean, quiet. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom is dated and some details, such as the very old living room carpet. Jaume was quick to answer my questions. That said, I find the value for money unbalanced. In addition, the apartment has a persistent smell of cigarette smoke that is accentuated by the lighting of the air conditioning since it is centralised. As a non-smoker, I found it unpleasant.

The apartment is beautiful, just like in the photos. Very well located. About 8 blocks (somewhat long) from the Sagrada Familia and about 30 minutes' walk from the beach. The Turi bus passes just 2 blocks from there. It has a lift which helps a lot with luggage. Maria was very attentive and welcomed us very well. I definitely recommend it.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and cozy, ideal for a group of three. The location was very good, just 10 min walk from the Sagrada Família and about 15–20 minutes on foot to Plaça de Catalunya, which suited us perfectly. The neighborhood was lovely and felt very safe. This flat is in the perfect location for walking around Barcelona. It is on a pedestrianised street, so shielded from traffic noise, but there is some noise from neighbouring flats inside. Very clean, comfy beds, met in person by a helpful host.

Two little things: in Barcelona there is a very bad smell of the (open) sewer at a lot of places. Also in the hallway there is a very bad smell all the time like that but inside the appartment /balcony it is fine! And yes, the neighbour never sleeps and has a very loud tv during the night. For me, AirPods with noisecancelling really helped.

Jaume and his agency were great hosts. Absolutely great and timely communication. Anna met as at the apartment and was very kind and supportive with giving us recommendations for Barcelona. The apartment is located central, close to some of the famous sights, grocery stores and public transportation. Due to the fact that it is in a small side street it is also quiet. We were two adults, but the apartment also suits for a small family of three. I can absolutely recommend and will come back when visiting Barcelona again. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jaumes place, it was the perfect location as it was away from the busy tourist areas but an easy walk to everywhere and felt very safe. Maria who met us at the apartment was so lovely and welcoming and made everything go smoothly. The only downsides were the neighbours significant smell of cigarettes as you walked into the apartment and the loud TV during late hours overnight, however we were aware of these from previous reviews. Overall we enjoyed our stay :)

It was overall a great stay. It was smaller than expected, but it was sufficient for us (3 adults, 1 baby). The shower door was broken, but Jaume responded quickly and fixed it the next day. We enjoyed our time in Barcelona!

This is the perfect place to stay in Barcelona! It was centrally located and I felt very safe. My friend's wallet was stolen and she didn't have all of her identification. Jaume stayed on the chat with us and tried to help with ideas to get new documents and to get her back home. Ana met us to let usn in and she was also very nice and helpful. The place was great but the hosts were even better!

The apartment is a good size, well furnished and equipped and is on a pedestrians only street so is quiet. It is near various bus and metro stations so getting around Barcelona is easy. There are many cafés, little shops and restaurants nearby too. I would have given it a higher rating but for the smell from the neighbour's cigarette smoke that permeated throughout the flat. I hope something can be done to stop this because it made our time in the flat very unpleasant. In addition for me the kitchen needed a thorough clean and bathroom needed some maintenance to the shower unit.

Great stay in a good location. Apartment was clean and tidy. We used their transfer which was a bit pricy but meant we were met straight away and could get right into the apartment. Apartment had everything you needed but would have benefitted from being provided with more than one towel each for a 5 night stay. Shower door was a bit difficult to manoeuvre which might be a problem for anyone taking a child but the shower worked great and no issues with the hot water. Sink was a bit slow to drain at times and seemed to be leaking a bit. You can walk to most sights but you are also right by the train station. I would recommend this apartment. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay.

Overall that was fine. I would like to give more stars but two things make me give a rating below what it could be. The door neighbor smokes cigarettes excessively and the entrance hall and elevator stink like cigarettes. This same neighbor watches all morning tv at a very high volume and its tv is behind the bedroom wall to sleep, so our nights of sleep were greatly impaired, even one night we slept outside the room. For the price we pay even though we know that Barcelona is an expensive city, it wasn't worth it.

This apartment is in a great and definitely safe neighborhood. Maria greeted us at check-in and she was awesome! Check-in and check-out was easy and stress free. Very centrally located and about a 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops all within steps away. Even a local supermarket 2 minutes away. Within a 10 minute walk, you get to a more active and "touristy" area. The apartment is very comfortable. Beds, sheets and pillows soft and cozy. The balcony for me was a plus. Very nice to sit out there and relax after walking for hours every day. I'm a clean freak and the apartment was very clean. I would definitely, without a doubt, stay there again. I hope my review helps whoever is debating on whether to book it or not.

Overall great place to say great location host is very responsive clean it’s comfortable only 2 things will point out is that is does smell heavy of smoke in the hallway as soon as you enter the room it will go way but it’s there for a few seconds and second the shower drain isn’t working so water may spill out but don’t let those things stop you from booking overall very happy with the stay !!

Very nice apartment, clean and really good location…feels like you’re in the middle of everything but it’s also on a nice quiet street. Only issue is the neighbour next door playing their TV at an extremely high volume throughout the night every night which makes sleeping pretty difficult. The place was excellent! The only issue is they are not clear about the rules. House rules clearly mentioned that guests can smoke in the Balcony,but after the check out the host complained that I smoked. Okay ,in a hurry I forgot to pick up a few cigarette butts from the Balcony. But that doesn't give the host any right to charge me an extra 100 eur. In my payment I already paid 125 euros . Even after that the host said that he had to clean excessively because few towels were kept in the living room. This also doesn't give the host rights to charge extra. I don't have anything against the host,I would recommend him , the property was excellent,but one has to make sure that what is included in cleaning fees and what defines the extra cleaning charge. Honestly this is the first time a host asked me to checkout the house neat and clean even after charging me 125 euro for cleaning.

Great apartment in great, not too touristy neighbourhood. Lots of excellent restaurants and tapas bars around and a perfect 20 min walks to the old city to walk off all the good food 😊 Best water pressure we've ever encountered in a Barcelona shower and decents beds – although we personally would have preferred two seperate sheets/quilts for the master bed. The balcony was a perfect spot to relax and observe local life – and for drying your clothes if you're here long enough to use the washing machine. If you're used to keeping all your accomodation communication on Airbnb, you should be aware that this is a professional renting team who communicate via email and apps (am not allowed to write the name of the specific app) and not solely on Airbnb. All in all a very pleasant stay and a highly recommendable apartment.

Loved staying here and if you like walking you can get almost anywhere within half an hour. The subway is also really close and there are always taxi’s nearby. There is a deaf neighbor who likes to put on his television on max volume. one time it was music and we just couldn’t stop laughing. the only thing that bothered us was that there weren’t a lot of kitchen supplies.

Anna who met us is really kind, she even gave us instructions for using home appliances, also gave us a map of the city and so on. Jaume’s place was excellent. The rooms were good and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. It is in a safe area and extremely central. My friend and I walked absolutely everywhere! Anna helped us to check in an out flight was heavily delayed yet she waited for us (even until midnight!) and was extremely friendly and communicative. She have us tips and provided us with a map of the city. The road was peaceful and there was air conditioning, which went to every room via vents. Brilliant! I would absolutely stay here again.

Pros: -2 bedrooms -a balcony 🥰 -great location (so many bars and restaurants at your fingertips) -the lady who checked us in was wonderful -they have Netflix! Cons: -we were not notified until after we got there and I reached out, that the washer was not working (he said they were going to fix it the day we left). If we had known, we would've done more laundry at our other Airbnb before getting to this one. So we wore dirty clothes because we didn't want to spend an hour or two of our vacation in a laundromat. Notes: if the cigarette smoke from next door is bad, it may be because you have the AC on. If you turn it off, it doesn't smell as much!(: Overall: glad we stayed here because the location was great and the bedrooms were nice!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb apartment in Barcelona! The apartment was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and all of the main attractions were within easy walking distance. This apartment and location met our needs for comfort and accessability to the different sights within walking distance or an exciting cab ride. Cabs were plentiful at this location and a bus terminal is very close. There was easy shopping for food in all directions nearby as well as restaurants. We were quickly able to assimilate into the city thanks to the proximity to key cultural centers. The building is secure and the other tenants were friendly it is our understanding this is the only airbnb in the building. If you are a light sleeper the larger bedroom shares a wall with the neighbor. Thanks Jaume!

I stayed at Jaume's place for six weeks, and I do not recommend staying here. These are my major complaints: - Broken terrace window, creating unavoidable street noise during the day and the night - Loud neighbors, making it difficult to sleep at night (I had to buy earplugs to get a good night of sleep) - Clogged shower drain, got so bad up to the point that the drain broke, the neighbors below had water damage, and I could not use it for a couple of days until it was repaired. It was de-clogged once, but this low-effort fix only helped out for a couple of days. - Big cleaning fee, but no cleaning service until I requested it after one month. Some good things to note: - Kitchen was well equipped - Arrival was well arranged With the shower situation, Jaume suggested moving me to another apartment or giving a discount, but none of these were actioned upon. Overall I had a great time in Barcelona, but I will not stay here again.

Had a lovely stay, both Anna and Jaume were very friendly and welcoming. We had a minor issue with the shower drain when we arrived but it was swiftly dealt with and they had more than made up for it by gifting us a delicious bottle of red wine 😋 The location is great as it is still quite close to many of the tourist sites (15- 20 minute walk) but is also in a quiet street away from the crowds. Only a slight concern if you're a light sleeper, the walls are a little thin and so if the neighbor decides to watch tv late at night, it could disrupt your sleep. Having that said, I would absolutely recommend this to any young friends visiting Barcelona.

Jaume is a nice person, the place is well located. Check in and out was smooth and easy. Except the neighbours who are a heavy smokers and leaving the corridor, and sometimes the apartment smell that, but also in the night specially in the master bedroom you can listen to their extremely loud television until 2 and 4 am!!! Which is strange as in the house rules for Jaume that we are in a quite area, and we should respect that by not doing any noise specially in the night time !! The apartment in general is good, maybe with some renovations and maintenance work will be perfect.

Communication was super fast and detailed. The location is great, very central, many things directly accessible on foot. The pictures are somewhat embellished - the apartment is a bit more lived-in than the pictures show. Which is a shame, the noise. The apartment is very noisy and overall very loud. Due to the ventilation, the sound is distributed very strongly, especially in the bedrooms. A resident in the house watched TV almost all night every night - sometimes a little quieter - but due to the ventilation you think the TV is in your own room - quiet nights were unfortunately missing and only bearable with earplugs.

I very much enjoyed my stay here! I've stayed in Barcelona for longer term trips many times - on this occasion, for about 2.5 weeks - and really enjoyed this particular location; it's close to a number of attractions but located on a pedestrian-only street with few tourists, and right near a grocery store. The apartment is comfortable and spacious; I stayed here alone, but it would easily still work for 2 people or for a couple sharing with another person. It also had a very nicely stocked kitchen, and the wifi consistently worked well. I would absolutely consider staying here again on future trips to Barcelona.

A lovely apartment that sits walking distance to the Sagrada Familia, beaches, and Gothic Quarter. The apartment itself is PERFECT for 3 people, provided 2 are sharing a room. Kitchen comes with cook- and dish-ware. There’s a washing machine in the bathroom. Basically, it’s a whole apartment. Heads up: the neighbor is a chain smoker, so the hallway reeks. That said, it doesn’t filter into the apartment. Our hosts were wonderful. It is managed by a business, but they run a very courteous, communicative, and professional service. They were also very helpful in recommending restaurants, bars abs tips for tourism. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. If you stay here, you absolutely must check out Three Marks Coffee just around the corner.

Jaume and the staff have been really kind. Very central area. No noise at all. Unfortunately the photos are not true to reality. The apartment is much smaller. The single room is much smaller than in the pics. The kitchen and living room are not furnished with new furniture as it appears from the photos. And the flat is not as bright as seen in the pics. In addition to this, the roller shutter in the double room was not working. It was stuck and did not go down. We were therefore unable to create darkness in the night, and it was very difficult to sleep with daylight entering every morning. Jaume and the team didn't make it to call someone to repair, even if the problem has been noticed immediately on Friday morning. We also had to pay 190 Euros for an early check in at 11:00AM instead of 4PM and there was no disclosure of this extra cost in the advertisement. Nobody proposed us to store the luggage somewhere and eventually check in at 4PM. I think the overall price is too high compared to the quality of the flat, and compared to the services we received.

This was a great apartment to stay in when visiting Barcelona. We loved sitting on the balcony having drinks in the sun, and we could walk easily to the beach, to La Sagrada Familia, and to many cute bars and restaurants nearby.

Be careful staying here! My friend and I stayed here for 6 nights recently. The apartment was ok, 1 averaged sized bedroom and another much smaller bedroom with a tiny uncomfortable single bed, with old looking bed linen. The whole apartment smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and the neighbour next door was continually noisy at all hours of the morning. On checking out much to our surprise we were notified by email that we had caused damage to the kitchen sink, which we certainly didn’t do. The host emailed requesting almost €500 to replace the sink. Eventually the host agreed that we did not have to pay but the whole thing seemed really strange and unsettling. The apartment is in a good location, if you do decide to stay here, I would be sure to take photos of everything before you checkout to save yourself the hassle.

This apartment is in a great location -- a block or two from cute restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store, and walking distance from the Arc de Triomf and the Sagrada Familia. It's also near many bus and metro lines. However, the amenities are a bit subpar especially for the price - for e.g., the shower didn't drain well, the iron didn't work, there are no blankets, and we could hear the plumbing from other apartments in the walls. Barcelona is expensive so this is still a good option, especially with the small patio and free coffee/tea in a full kitchen, but it's overpriced in my opinion.

If you are looking for a clean apartment, you’ll get one. Comfortable beds, clean towels, clean environment. All there for you. We liked the area, but not the street. It’s dark and after the person checked us into the apartment and warned us about safety issues in Barcelona, this quiet, dark street didn’t feel very comfortable. The smell of smoke coming from the other apartment on the floor is awful. It may not bother others, but it was extremely uncomfortable for us. Even exiting the shower you could smell smoke on the towels. It’s unfortunate, because they have no control over their neighbours. The photos, which I understand were taken by AIRBNB staff are extremely misleading. The apartment is in no way as bright and spacious as the photos make it out to be. All in all, the hosts looked after us. A few issues arose and they were quick to fix them. It’s things that are out of their control that made this a disappointing stay for us.

Great place, great location, and great service. I stayed here with my niece and girlfriend for a week and we were not disappointed. The location was a good compromise between the historic and cultural sights and the beach. The location is safe and quiet, but close enough to a major street to make catching a cab quick and easy. The apartment itself is clean, neat, and has everything you’d need for a long stay. As others have noted the outer hallway smells of cigarette smoke, but it didn’t really get into the apartment. Also, the old man next door is basically deaf and turns the TV volume up to 11, which can be annoying in the evenings. I had to buzz his door at 2am one night, but he promptly turned it down and it was the only time it was really bothersome the entire week. But we were told about this in advance, which we appreciated. There also seems to be some construction going on in an adjacent room, but I can’t fault Jaume for that and it’s only an issue during the weekdays. Jaume and his partners made the check-in process super easy and they were in constant contact in the days/weeks leading up to our stay. We never needed them for anything while we were there, but if we had, I’m confident they’d have addressed any issues immediately.

Place was ok. Good location. Pretty bad cigarette smell in hallway from neighbors, but not much they can do about that... other than note it within listing. The biggest issue I had was that there was a 50 euro checkin fee for arriving past midnight. This was not featured on Airbnb where it simply says checkin available after 4pm. It should say something about the fees if it’s a late checkin.

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for an extended stay. The location was on a nice, quiet street in a cool part of town. The amenities were exactly as described and really made the apartment feel like home during our stay. The different features of the apartment all worked great (stove, shower, washer/dryer, TV, wifi). A cleaning service was arranged for us at the midpoint of our trip to freshen things up and provide fresh towels, etc. Jaume and his team were both accessible and provided tips on getting around town and activities to do. All in all a top notch apartment and hospitality service.

Quiet street, but still walkable to to a lot of places. The flat was perfect -- 2 bedrooms, and a little balcony. Full kitchen. Great, easy place to stay. Note: The neighbor smokes (so if you are sensitive to smoke it's mostly just the hallway.) The flat surprisingly doesn't smell like smoke. And the tv gets loud and you can hear it through the wall but we were instructed to simply knock on his door and he will turn it down. All of these things were brought to our attention prior to accessing the place and honestly didn't effect our stay one bit. I highly recommend staying at this flat on your next trip to Barcelona!

We enjoyed the little kitchen and proximity to the Sagrada Família. Though not as brightly lit as we thought from the pictures, the apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. Location doesn’t have a lot of nightlife right outside, so might need to metro if you plan to stay out late. One note: if you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke, the neighbor in the apartment across the hall must chain smoke because the landing smells strongly of cigarettes, and you can hear their TV at night. But as long as a little noise is okay, you’ll enjoy this launch pad into Barcelona.

I loved the Air BnB Plus I went to last time, so I booked Plus again, and I was so disappointed. The last plus had milk and egg yogurt, and the house was so clean that I don't know if I was so disappointed because I was so excited... It was similar or bad, and the only thing that was prepared was water. I stayed for 5 days, but I asked for more toilet paper and towels because I didn't have enough toilet paper, and they told me to buy toilet paper. There were two extra toilet paper, so I didn't have any complaints about living there. They told me to buy or wash towels. I thought there was something like this about Sarah, but there was a washing machine, so I thought I could wash it, so I didn't have any complaints. However, when I asked where the detergent was because I couldn't find it, if it's not on the washing machine, I want to buy a new one. So far, there was no place where there was a washing machine without detergent, and I was so surprised that they said they would give me detergent in long-term stays. I was only there for 5 days, and I asked for a new detergent... Maybe there was a detergent somewhere else, but I looked for it and it was gone. Of course, if this was not a plus, I might not have had this much complaint, but I didn't understand why this place was a plus. And although it is the amount specified in the description, I didn't think it was very good to have an additional charge for late check-in. This is the first time I've received an extra charge... The house itself was no problem, but it was bad in terms of service, so I didn't have any thoughts of recommending it to others.

Apartment exactly as advertised on a quiet street in a great location for exploring Barcelona either on foot or public transport. There is a large Supermarket only a couple of minutes walk from the front door and plenty local Bars and Restaurants. One greatly appreciated touch was Ice in the Freezer, perfect for our G&T's on the Balcony. 5*****

Good location on a quiet street. We walked everywhere with our 1 year old and his stroller. The flat had everything we needed. The team was great at following up with us when we needed help with a couple of things. I booked an airport transfer thinking it was a good idea and a good deal but sadly ended up paying double of what it should have cost. The driver was great and so was the baby car seat we requested.

The flat is clean and is accurately advertised in the listing. We were quite happy with the proximity to public transport and our ability to walk to a few of the main tourist areas. Overall, it was a great experience. I've rated it 4 of 5 for with one point of feedback: the "late check-in fee." The fee is charged if you arrive after 9pm on your first day. I was due to land in Barcelona at 8pm and my flight was delayed for 30 minutes. I communicated this to the host and they said they were tracking my flight, but I was still charged the fee (I believe it was 30 euros). The fee is accurately explained in the listing, so I don't have an issue paying it, but just want to let anyone that says here know that the fee will be charged, even if it is due to a late flight....(and even if it is only 15-20 minutes after 9PM). That said, I'd stay here again next time I'm in town and recommend it to others.

Sagrada Famila and also the City Center and the Old City are comfortable reachable by walking. The communication, the welcome and the individual recommendations from Jaume and his team for our time in BCN were extraordinary good. I unfortunately became very ill right before my flight and was unable to make it to Barcelona. My dear friend stayed at Jaume’s flat alone, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. He was extremely responsive throughout the travel process, as well as thoughtful and kind. At our request, he even arranged an in person check in at midnight to make sure my friend got in safely. The flat was lovely and in a perfect location for walking to restaurants and local points of interest. I hope to be back soon!

We spent 3 nights at this apartment. It's a very cozy, chic and with everything you need and a lot of storage place. We only used the big bedroom with a very large bed. I personally love the sofa in the sitting room very very much! It's the most comfortable one I have ever tried. Location is quite central, but to walk to the famous church is def need 15-25mins, not that kind of stone throw distance. I def recommend ppl to stay in this apartment, the space is quite big enough.

The experience was ok, but the difficulty of taxi points and/or nearby restaurants, would not make us stay there again. Also the check-in rule after 4pm and check-out rule at 11am (for no reason as no one showed up until 2pm) is something we didn't think about booking but causes big issues later. Anyway, nothing against the host, but we wouldn't stay again.

Spent 4 nights at Juame's place and it was great. The apt was very clean and comfortable. We didn't cook, but the kitchen appeared to have everything you need for cooking. The wi-fi worked great in all the rooms. The unit is not the most central, but a short 5-7 min walk to the Metro station or a 20 min walk to the Borne area. There's a supermarket close to the apt, however it was very busy so we opted to shop at a small market around the corner. We were very satisfied with the overall experience.
