The apartment
Set in the Eixample district, this entire condo offers 85 m² of interior space plus a generous private terrace of equal size. The layout is single-level and accessible by elevator, making it a practical option for families, seniors, and longer stays. The living and dining areas are bright and naturally lit, creating two distinct yet connected spaces for relaxing, reading, or sharing meals. A TV with standard cable and a selection of books add to the lived-in feel.

Sleeping arrangements
There are three bedrooms, all facing the terrace. Two bedrooms feature queen beds and large wardrobes, while the third bedroom includes two single beds and its own storage. One bedroom also offers a dedicated workspace in a separate room with a door. All bedrooms are equipped with individually controlled AC units, and the apartment includes two bathrooms.

Outdoor living

The location of the apartment was really good and easy to find. But when we arrived, after about 1 hour the hot water pipe broke. Water came from the bedroom wall to the floor and we started to sort it out. From here on out, everything went difficult and it took almost two days to sort out. Airbnb support is really slow and they don't speak English, for example. We had to arrange a new place to stay ourselves and fortunately we got a hotel for the rest of the holiday.

No problems with thorough check in with Maria. No issue in reporting minor existing damage, which did not detract from our stay. Quiet and secure. Great walking location with easy pickup drop-off by taxi/Uber at front door.

The apartment was in a perfect location and was quite central in Barcelona. Our check in host met us and was extremely kind as she explained everything about the apartment and the area around it. After she left, we noticed a couple things that made our stay a bit less enjoyable. 1. We only received one key to the apartment. The host said they normally provide two keys and after asking for a 2nd one, they mentioned that they would look into it for us but we never heard back during our stay 2. The door to the 2nd bathroom was impossible to close. It looked like it was too big for the doorway and got stuck on the floor. This meant we only had 1 usable bathroom for 5. Again, after contacting the host, they mentioned that they would put in a ticket to fix this, but we never heard back for the duration of our stay. Overall the place was nice and as advertised, but these two issues made our stay a bit less ideal.

    DISCLAIMER: The apartment is located in a quiet residential building, where respect for the well-being and rest of all our neighbours is our utmost priority. To that effect we will only accept as guests FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AND SENIORS. By agreement of our homeowner's association, the terrace must not be accessed during quiet hours. Therefore, THE TERRACE IS OFF-LIMITS from 21pm - 9am In the event we receive a police report in connection with loud noises or parties, a fine of 500€ will be charged for breaking the House Rules. **IMPORTANT: BEAR IN MIND THAT THE APARTMENT IS LOCATED IN A RESIDENTIAL FAMILY BUILDING, THEREFORE IT IS COMPULSORY TO RESPECT THE NEIGHBOURS AND THE QUIET HOURS FROM 21H TO 9H. 1. Please do not smoke in the apartment, this is a smoke free apartment. You can do it in the terrace or outside of the apartment, enjoying the local street-life view. - 2. Please respect our neighbours, be mindful of noise levels in the stairwells as well as in the apartment, at all times. Loud noise (from 21h to 9h) and parties are totally forbidden in the apartment. Breaking this rule will lead to you being removed from the apartment at any time, day or night, without any refunds. - 3. Use proper attire (shirt, trousers and shoes) at all times, while in the common areas of the building. - 4. Use air conditioning and heating responsively, and remember also to turn off the lights when you are out of the apartment. (We pay one of the higher prices for electricity in Europe and we want to continue offering nice prices on the rental, please help us to achieve it). - 5. For your safety lock the door, and close the windows every time you go out. - 6. Lodging more people than originally made in the reservation is strictly forbidden. Breaking this rule will lead to you being removed from the apartment at any time, day or night, without any refunds. - 7. Please do not use the apartment towels for the beach or pool. If you are planning to go to the beach or pool, please make your own arrangements for towels. - 8. Do not remove any of the apartment’s contents or furnishings. - 9. We look after this apartment so you can feel at home in it, therefore please take care of the apartment in the same way. Any damage to the apartment, furniture or other contents will be deducted from the security deposit. - 10. Please show you care. Leave the flat as you found it, take out your trash and don’t leave dirty dishes. We understand that you are on vacation and respect a certain extent of dirtiness, actually you don’t need to do a cleaning. However, if an extended cleaning is required because the apartment is excessively dirty, there will be an extra charge deducted from your deposit. - 11. If there is something wrong, or you break or damage something during your stay, make sure to let us know straight away. - 12. We provide 1 baby cot (linen not included) and 1 high chair - request in advance. Extra cot (+60€)/Extra high chair (+40€) - 13.
