The flat definitely needs renovating. The bathroom is a bit tired and the walls in the bedrooms and living room are very dirty and need repainting. The beds and sofa are different to those in the pictures. The bedding in the pictures is also much nicer than the plain white sheets provided, which look cheap. The kitchen also looks very shabby. There are outdated notes saying that you can use coffee, but there isn’t any in the cupboards. I only found a few coffee pods, but no machine to use them in. I also dislike the fact that you are asked to throw away the rubbish; otherwise, they will not return the deposit of 100 euros. The bins are located down by the beach, which means climbing down 270 steps. The toilet seat is loose and needs to be fixed. The tea towels are worn out. The terrace is lovely though and there's a beautiful view of the sea.

From the moment we arrived at Malaga to meet the recommended transport service right up to returning to fly home was faultless….. the perfect host. The apartment was great, very clean and had everything we required and more, peaceful, private and lovely views from the large terrace. Thank you everyone at Casasol for a wonderful break away i would highly recommend.

The location of the accommodation is fantastic. Ocean views, very quiet location. Beautiful large terrace for relaxing with shade and sun spots. Cushions for the sun loungers would have been nice. Super amenities, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, ironing facilities, everything available. Lots of stairs up and down, but so beautiful to look at all around that the ups and downs become secondary :-) The accommodation needs minor renovations here and there. We definitely recommend the accommodation. Great for families!

We spent a lovely fortnight here. Five things to note: 1. Wherever you go, expect a lot of steps. It wasn't a problem for us, but something to be conscious of. 2. Our bathroom was a bit tired, but the rest of the apartment is very well furnished and equipped. 3. The terrace is exceptional. Definitely the key feature. 4. The surrounding grounds are attractive and well maintained. 5. The location above Burriana Beach is great, with a wide range of good value bars and restaurants.

The outdoor space and view at this place are second to none. Listening to the sea at night and looking at it glisten by day. Wonderful to have a washing machine AND a dryer. There are 3 clothes lines that we used but being able to get that last bit dried on a rainy day was so helpful. The inside needs some love. It has everything but the standard loose handle on the fry pans but generally was well equipped. One bedrooms overhead fan didn’t work but there was a stand up fan. A plug in or 2 were not functioning and the towel bar had fallen off the wall in one bathroom. Not horrible but quite disappointing. It should be noted that there are A LOT of stairs. Just getting to the apartment there are a lot but I think there are 120 stairs down to the beach. It is a beautiful walk though and the restaurants below were very very good Despite the drawbacks we would seriously consider this place for another visit to Nerja. If they did a bit of a renovation we would hands down choose

We loved our stay at Jose's home. Beautiful views! Bedrooms were comfortable and the living room and kitchen well-appointed. Would definitely return!

We had a lovely break here. Very quiet. Pool area was brilliant, lots of space and never felt too busy. There are a lot of steps down to the apartment and then to the beach. The apartment had beautiful views of Playa Burriana.

The view and terrace are really beautiful! The place is peaceful and very quiet. The interior of the apartment is a little old but we spend more time outdoors so nice experience 😊

Beatiful and spacious apartment and balcony. We were so pleased with the location and daily walks at the hilly surroundings at the compound. Thanks for the stay and the flexible and pleasant check-in.

Great deck with lovely views! The pool was great! The kids really liked it. The area is very nice and nice. However, a lot of stairs, maybe not optimal for us with two small children, but still worked.
