This beautiful family home in the heart of the pristine coastal town of Salt Rock, is tastefully decorated yet warm and inviting, welcoming you into a tropical haven engulfing a glorious beach-style house, serving as the perfect seaside holiday home for up to 7 people.
Just a 400m short walk from the main Salt Rock swimming & surfing beaches, a mere 5 minute drive to Ballito and even closer to the nearest shops.
The space
NEIGHBOURHOOD:This slice of paradise is situated in a lovely, safe and established neighbourhood in Salt Rock.
BEDROOMS:
The spacious interior offers 3 private bedrooms, one queen, one double, and one with two single beds, as well as a single bed located in a room off the lounge.
KITCHEN:
Light and stylish, and well equipped to cater for all your culinary needs.
The gas stove is a blessing for those dreaded power outages.
BATHROOMS:
The two bathrooms comprise one shower and one bath, plus an additional outside shower.
LIVING AREA:
The spacious comfy lounge, complete with large flatscreen TV, and plenty of seating area, is the perfect breezy room to chill out and take a load off. There is full PVR DSTV available for your viewing pleasure.
Leading off the lounge is a lovely study for those needing to work, study or spend time in front of their laptops.
OUTDOORS:
There is a large undercover outdoor living area with fireplace and braai area, perfect for lounging and entertaining, leading onto a private wind-protected deck, featuring a table-tennis table and dartboard for your enjoyment, all set snugly within the picturesque tropical garden.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
- A gas stove makes life easier during power outages.
- The fully enclosed and private garden makes it pet-friendly, where dogs are welcome on special request, on condition they are suitably house trained and do not create a disturbance. Maximum 2 dogs permitted. Please provide your own dog beds and blankets.
ACCESS:
The property is easily accessible, situated just off the road. The driveway has a double carport and additional parking area for 2 other vehicles.

Entire house and garden access.No garage.

** Please note that there is a daily Housekeeping service available at R250 per day. R350 on weekends & public holidays.- Camper Cot is provided on request

→No parties or events allowed.
→Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM.
→Please treat the property and its contents with respect and care.
→Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
→Please keep the property clean, and garbage correctly disposed of, throughout your stay.
→Please turn off all lights, aircons and appliances when leaving the property.
→Please report any issues or problems immediately to the host.
* Pets are permitted at the discretion of the host.
Maximum 2 large or 3 small to medium sized dogs will be considered.
Please bring your own pet bedding and dishes.
* All noise and music should be turned down at 10pm, and off at midnight.
* Only 7 people may sleep over at any time. Any extra guests will be charged at R550 per night.
* Furniture should not be moved around and all accessories, equipment, fixtures and fittings should be left where you found them.
* Bath towels are not to be used for swimming and should not be removed from the premises.
* Please return the house to us in the condition you received it.

Our stay at Keith & Brigitte's place was an unforgettable experience; the house was spacious, clean and comfortable, with amazing surroundings. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The hosta went all out to make us feel welcomed and attended to all our needs. I loved the convenient location close to the beach Really loved our time there with my family and will surely recommend it to anyone and will definitely visit again.

5-Star Stay at Salt Life – A Slice of Paradise! We had a fantastic stay at Salt Life. The seamless check-in, including an early check-in, was a great start. Brigitte greeted us warmly, making us and our two Border Collies feel right at home. The house is exactly as pictured—beautifully decorated with a modern, relaxed beach vibe, and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the Springboks beat the All Blacks on the big screen TV with the full DSTV bouquet. Our dogs were comfortable, and Brigitte even provided dog bowls. The board games and Lego blocks were a hit, and the extra workspace was perfect for my husband to catch up on work undisturbed. The outdoor entertainment area was inviting and perfect for relaxing after a beach day. The property is safe, with undercover parking, and close to shops, restaurants, and dog-friendly beaches. Highly recommended for a family getaway!

- Please note that parties and events are NOT ALLOWED. - Please note that swimming towels are NOT provided and bath towels are not to be removed from the premises. - This is a residential area so quiet times apply: after 10pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends - Pets are allowed on special request, at the discretion of the Hosts - Smoking is NOT permitted in the house or living areas - Freshly caught fish is NOT to be cleaned or stored on the premises. - Please do not move the furniture around. - Please take care of the house and its contents and return it to us in the condition you received it. -Please do not remove the linen from the beds when departing.

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
