This was a good holiday cottage and just a better equipped kitchen (providing cheese grater, large pans, sieve, coffee maker or cafetiere), cleaner shower tiles, information folder and locks on doors would have made it excellent. Whilst it was well equipped for watching TV, drinking and heating pizzas, it was surprisingly lacking basic items for cooking family meals. I reported items that were lacking and received a reply that they might consider for future improvement.

Nevertheless, our family group of 7 enjoyed staying in this location , a 15 minute walk from Amble town and harbour. Warkworth castle nearby and also well placed for exploring Northumbria - snowdrops at Howick Hall Gardens spectacular and Cragside well with visiting.

Comfy beds and sofa. Good amount of space downstairs.

Carpets need a clean, bathrooms were quite small and with mould in showers. Couldn't find the hair dryer. Two of the doors wouldn't stay on the latch to keep shut.

Lovely property. Based on an estate but plenty of on street parking. Good location for exploring Northumberland coast. Dog friendly as described. Kitchen well stocked with lots of crockery. Great layout of property for socialising. Bedrooms a good size and beds comfy. Bathrooms clean but some black mould in showers. Bathroom door locks didn’t work and many doors did not latch properly (problematic in downstairs toilet with entry to kitchen!). Key safe was very tucked away which is understandable for security but clearer instructions on location would have helped. Host communication good and helpful when I needed to call them. Overall excellent property for a family holiday, would consider staying again as so much to explore nearby.

The beds were absolutely appalling. Only one double bed was ok. Ruined our stay!
The microwave is a fire hazard. All reported but nothing happened on our stay not even a replacement microwave!

We had a lovely family holiday for 3 nights.
House had everything we needed, very cosy and clean. Quick responses and very helpful whenever we had a question, would stay again!
We visited Alnwick Gardens, Holy Island, Druridge Bay and Bambrugh Castle which we’d highly recommend!

House very large so plenty of room for your travelling party. Spacious kitchen, living room with 2 tvs.
Beds were super comfy and good pressure in the showers. X3 bathrooms of good size and big showers. This means sink small as no space. Location at the top of the street with a 5minute walk to the harbour.
Ample parking around the front and side of the house on the street.
Nearby park around the corner by the school for kids with big fields around for dog walkers too

Sink in upstairs bathrooms small.
Nowhere to put toiletries other than top of toilet or on the floor

The property was as described.
Immaculate
Spotlessly clean.
Spacious.
There was plenty comfortable seating.
The bedrooms were spacious benefiting from 2 bathrooms on the first floor.
Added bonus of downstairs loo.
We are hoping to rebook next year.
I would highly recommend this property as it was a good base for visiting surrounding areas.
We were a party of 6 adults and a teenager and found the property to be spacious close to local amenities.

The only downside was the mattress of the double bed in the front bedroom.
This bed would benefit from a new mattress as the one on the bed has seen better days.It felt as though you were lying on a metal bar!

House was fine but the “ bathrooms” are a shower, a toilet and a 6 inch wide hand basin which makes it difficult to use.
I object to being charged a £ 10 admin fee to return my damage deposit and to wait 14 days for it.
Would use a private host next time . No adjustment made on £ 125 cleaning fee

Nicely decorated property with lots of space and a well equipped kitchen,Downstairs toilet was a bonus. Good access to town centre and harbour and a field close by to walk the dog.

issues regarding light in the bedroom and condition of sofa and mattress were highlighted over a year ago and nothing has been done to resolve these issue since, which is very disappointing. Had to use bin liners to block out the morning light and could not enjoy the lounge area as the sofa sagged and was not fit for purpose.

This house is lovely on the inside and true to the photos, but there is a reason there is no photos from the outside, but don’t let that out you off! The house was warm, comfortable, large entertaining space in the kitchen and lounge and everything was spotlessly clean. Very quiet area too and you can easily walk 15 mins down to harbour area, shops, pubs and restaurants. Can recommend harbour inn for the most enormous Sunday roast! Tried to get into Jasper’s too but it was full! Warkworth is only a 5 min drive and beautiful.
I had read previous reviews about lack of pans so we came prepared but the host replaced these while we were there and they were very responsive to a couple of issues.
The large sofa in the lounge needs replacing as it’s very tired and uncomfortable and more seats are needed in the lounge so all 7 of us could be together, but overall a lovely stay in a very spacious home.

Had a lovely few days away at Sea Breeze. Beautiful, accomadation which was extremely clean. Restaurants, shops, harbour etc are all within walking distance. Lots to do within the area with a family and dog. Will definitely be returning in the future. Only plee would be to have more cutlery and bigger pots/pans for when people are cooking for a family. Also, water in the showers was quite cool, not sure if this could be looked into?

The house is a good.size with plenty of room for the 4 adults and 2 children staying. Everything we needed was available. The outlook does let the house down but as we were hear to visit the surrounding area, this didn't matter so much.
A few sticking points for us.
The bathrooms are OK, the doors do not open very wide at all but they would benefit from a shelf as there was nowhere to even stand toothbrushes.
The sofa is extremely tired and not really fit for purpose. The cushions disappear into the corners as the frame is no longer strong enough, but other than this the space works well.
Unfortunately we had to cut out stay short due family circumstances and the communication with stay was brilliant and much appreciated.

Name of property very misleading - nowhere near the sea and you might get a ‘sea breeze’ if there was a hurricane!! Did not even go inside as location dreadful and past reviews re tired furnishings put us off!
Absolutely no goodwill from host and stay and no refund whatsoever.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Breeze, it was exactly as described and had everything we needed. It was clean, tidy and really nicely decorated. Especially loved that the rooms had dressing tables, mirrors and plug sockets, perfect for us all getting ready for a wedding! The hosts were helpful and responsive. We would stay here again if ever back in the area.

Location was great and the property was roomy and comfortable. Confortable beds. Amenities in Amble good. Parking easy. Suited our purpose as a base to attend a family wedding.

There were a few irritating things that could be improved. Bathrooms small and nowhere to put anything - shelves over toilet would help, no mirror over sink to shave and one shower drain needed unclogging. Large lounge but not a single coffee or occasional table which made it difficult to use and bulb out in lamp. Advertised for 7 but only 6 chairs round table. Looks like no-one checks the cupboards - v random selection of equipment - only 1 wine glass but 6 gin glasses ??. only 2 small saucepans (making it v difficult to cook for everyone) but 4 frying pan. Lots of spoons but v few knives. Only 1 door key for 7 people.

spacious layout with plenty of facilities and a super location.

It only has a small yard which means nowhere to sit out on an evening. We had dogs and they are used to some grass. This wasn’t a huge problems when you’re close to the coast but would be nice as a choice in good weather.

loved the layout, clean, fresh & modern. I thought the area looked Run down on Street View, it isn’t, it’s quiet. bedding/pillows were nice.

mattresses could be upgraded. The front double bedroom had the only comfy mattress. Mattresses are important shouldn’t be overlooked. Recommend replacing rest of mattresses so they’re all same as the front bed one.

We had a brilliant time. The house was welcoming and clean. We arrived an hour early and the host allowed us in as the house was ready. If i was to think of any negatives it would be the lack of an extra toilet roll and cleaning products. I would also have appreciated some person touches with local visitor recommendations, fresh milk and some local welcome treats.

The House and the actual owners were incredible - the company providing the listing on behalf of the owners - not so much!

House super clean, presentable and lots of homely touches. No set parking but we didn’t struggle at any point and although the street isn’t the most aesthetic it was safe and we heard no neighbouring noice. No garden as such but a little enclosed area out back that’s absolutely fine for dogs to do their business. The whole family were so impressed by the space.

Oh and If you want logs - try the esso garage just down the road!

The company that we had to correspond with who post the listing for the owners on Airbnb were not great. Unfriendly, uncaring and lacking any type of customer service impacting the first part of our stay. This is such a shame because for this reason we probably wouldn’t book here again unless we could book direct with the actual owners.

Great place, it was ideal for 5 adults 3 children a baby and a dog. Kitchen was spacious and a great place to be able to cook and chat with all the family. Everything on your doorstep to play park, shops, restaurants, marina and wark castle less than 2 miles away.

Property was clean and newly decorated with a good kitchen. Amble is lovely , the street itself not very attractive but it’s a short walk to the town centre and harbour.

The beds didn’t have comfortable mattresses and the rooms have no curtains - the thin blinds let in too much light, especially with a street light next to a bedroom. Get some curtains and new mattresses so guests can sleep, this really let the stay down as we were very tired after bad sleep. The sofa was also uncomfortable and could do with replacing. The photos had obviously been taken wide angle to give the impression the rooms were much, much bigger than they really are which is a little dishonest. It met our needs though apart from the cheap, thin blinds.

Duvets were too warm for the time of year. Sinks in the bathroom are too small so get water on the floor. Needed a coffee table or occasional tables in the lounge plus an extra chair. Only 6 chairs round the dining table but there is sleeping space for 7

No washing line . No tumble dryer . Settees need changing due to wear and tear . Wardrobes and draws none especially for people staying more than just a weekend . And large family . No curtains just blinds they could do with roller blinds or curtain in the bedrooms due to early morning sun rise .

Interior space is clean and well designed. Excellent location for centre of amble and easy parking. Bedrooms only have blinds which are good for privacy but very transparent so bring a sleep mask if you don’t like waking up at the same time as sunrise.

Stayed there last September and we were pleased with the accommodation so rebooked. As we were 4 ladies it suited our needs having 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Don't like the bathrooms. Washbasin too small and nowhere in shower to put products a small shower shelf would be helpful.

Sea Breeze is a beautiful house, spacious and in a great quiet location 5 mins from the high street. Kitchen is lovely with everything you could possibly need. Toilet on the ground floor was a huge bonus for my disabled Mum to access. Bedrooms were bright and spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable

Maybe some partial screening on the patio area at the rear (where the bins are) to shield from the street at the side to add a bit of privacy would be nice

Great location, only an hour from Lindisfarne and 30 mins from Bamburgh. The property is large, comfortable and modern. Lovely bedrooms, comfy beds.

Need a working hoover, this also wasn’t emptied when we arrived, pretty gross
Some basics in the kitchen such as cooking oil, dishwasher rinse aid and salt, would be a nice touch

This is a lovely newly refurbished house which has plenty of room, great kitchen and showers and reliable wifi. The location is handy for town and the marina and it is also a good base for travelling to beaches and the main areas of interest in Northumberland. Initially we were unsure about the residential street and the lack of garden but these concerns were not needed - the street was very quiet and we didn’t miss outdoor space as there are so many lovely outdoor places to visit! Great fish and chips at harbour fisheries too!!

Very disappointed with the accommodation. It looked nicely renovated from the photos and generally it was acceptable inside and the kitchen was fine. However, the bathrooms were absolutely tiny and there was very little room to put anything, and the sinks were far too small to use. The house was in a terrace street and overlooked by other houses. It had no private outside space and nowhere safe if you take a dog. The area did not feel a safe and nice area and we certainly would not go back there. Amble itself was nice and it was nice to be able to walk into Amble, however I would find somewhere nicer to stay. Given these issues with the house it was vastly overpriced and not value for money.

We had a great time at Seabreeze. The accommodation was spacious and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our host was very responsive when it came to fixing a few niggles and answering queries. Being a few minutes walk to the high street was really handy with the coop nearby and a couple of great takeaways. Two Internet connected TVs and WiFi. What’s not to like? Will definitely come back to Amble.

Very clean and modern house, looks like it's been very recently upgraded.
The location is fantastic with everything in Amble within a short walk and a variety of other towns within a short drive.
We brought our small dog which was very welcome and made our stay all the more enjoyable.
