Very comfortable cottage in ideal location. We stayed for the coldest few days of the year but the cottage was warm and cosy, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Just five minutes from the village square which has several cafes, interesting shops and galleries. We didn’t venture too far because of the weather but enjoyed a few walks in the countryside around the village. Hoping to return in the warmer weather to explore the surrounding area, and would highly recommend Green Willow as a place to stay.

This house was an absolute amazing stay! The location, pricing and overall vibe of the house was very nice! Me and my friends felt well accommodated and the house felt cozy which meant it was ideal for long term stay! Host was communicative and friendly ! Would 100% go back!

Lovely modern apartment! Had everything needed for a break away from home! Fab location with a sea view from the balcony! Check in/out was easy enough and the beds were huge and very comfy! Would definately stay again!

Emerald Beach house is gorgeous! It's a really comfortable house, that's fully equipped with everything you could need to have a wonderful stay by the sea. We really appreciated the lovely cosy and warm welcome, Christmas tree lit up, garland and lights all the way up the bannisters, lovely fairy lights in the kitchen and a festive dining table. Bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen is a lovely space to cook in. Would love to return!

We stayed here for my 30th birthday as a girls trip. From the moment we arrived we loved the house. The decor is beautiful, it’s spacious yet the lounge area seems cosy and is the perfect space to relax with a drink! The house is in a perfect location, rural enough to explore places like chatsworth but you can also walk to Matlock. We were left milk, wine and biscuits which was a lovely touch. We were just sad we couldn’t stay longer. Thank you for a great stay! 😊

The scruffiest Host and Stay property i have stayed in. Love Whitby, but will not be rebooking with H&S. Shame as I've stayed in half a dozen of their other properties. Not well equipped. Marked walls, scruffy furniture that's seen better days, mouldy and damp

Have never had such a bad experience with a rental property. I have stayed in many wonderful ones! The property was misrepresented and nothing like the photos or expectations. Consequently we had to find an alternative place to stay as it was run down, unloved, in bad repair and utterly depressing. This was over Christmas so even more disappointing. No welcome anything! Refund, after leaving almost immediately with countless problems, is still outstanding and causing huge stress! We will NEVER book a property through Host and Stay again and I strongly advise anyone doing so to thoroughly check the accuracy of the details of the property beforehand. Not only was the service bad but the actual owners of the property were the rudest we’ve ever come across. It was a property in North Norfolk; 1 Ruscon Cottage in Brancaster Staithe. The kitchen equipment was appalling, old and useless wonky frying pan, no wooden spoon or equivalent of any kind. Coffee machine with not even one pod. No washing up liquid. Dishwasher with red lights needing salt, rinse aid and no tablets. Literally nothing welcoming. Not even a tea bag. A wood burner but no fire lighters. Broken drawers in dirty frozen up freezer. Everything just appalling. Not enough plates, all odd glasses..no soap in bathrooms..literally the list is endless. It felt as though they couldn’t care less!

Really nice place to stay. Was a crying shame about the weather though. Would defiantly stay over again though.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, 8 minutes walk from the centre. The cleanliness of the room was excellent and communication with the hotel has always been very fluid. The next time I go to Liverpool I will return.

We had a lovely time at the cottage it’s was very cosy and had everything we needed. My only suggestion to the owners is to have a welcome folder perhaps giving instructions on how to use the heating and hot water. (We managed to figure it out but may be best to have instructions for others that stay). A pair of oven gloves would help too. The WiFi code given from booking.com was wrong but the back of the BT WiFi had the code. Both doors needed a bit of wD40 as they stick a bit but if you keep turning the lock it opens. It’s a little cold upstairs but one you manage to set the central heating and keep doors open it warms up. Luckily I took my electric blanket and that keeps me warm. We really enjoyed our stay it was a lovely cottage. Such a beautiful location and Tyne pub near by we ate at and the pub owners and locals were all very friendly. I would highly recommend this cottage it’s a beautiful and cosy place to stay in a beautiful area in Hereford but based on the cusp of Worcestershire.

We arrived at the property at the allocated time, we were met by John the grounds man, he showed us around the property thoroughly, so we were fully informed from the outset. Chris arrived after John and was so friendly, he showed us anything we had questions about and gave me his number incase we had any questions during the time we were there. We stayed there for the New Year period, as a family of 19 people including adults, children and our labrador. We loved the setting, so close to the coast, within walking distance from the property. We enjoyed the large communal family area including the bar with fully working fridge, glasses and shelf space, the open log fire, which we used, and there were logs there to buy for 25.00 and there was enough for a few days to burn all day. The heating was on full when we arrived, very warm so needed to turn it down! The hot tub was an absolute winner for us all! Up and running when we arrived and stayed on and hot for the full 3 days. The bedrooms were very clean and cosy, traditional style for some and modern for others, all with ensuite. The kitchen had all the facilities you could need for a large group of people, small fridge and freezer in the kitchen but an additional large fridge and fridge freezer in the utility room. No ice making trays or facilities, so take bags of your own or trays. There is a washer, drier, dishwasher, large oven all easy to use. There is a lack of gin glasses and large wine glasses! That is the only snag to report..! Car park is huge, and right next to the property which was very convenient. Our labrador could be let outside safely in the garden and patio area as the gate locked for peace of mind. There are a couple of pubs, pharmacy and shops within a 5 minute drive. I would definitely return to the property for another family break, we had a fantastic time together. I would highly recommend it to families for celebrations/occasions for year times of year.

Worst hosts as a company and location I've ever stayed in, in this air bnb style manner. Terrible customer service who just reply to emails with the usual niceties and professional key words but doesn't actually follow through with that they say. The location of Athenaeum House in Leeds is what I would describe as great location but the other habitants/guests are ridiculously loud. If you want a good sleep, don't stay here. Doors slamming until early hours of the morning all day until around 0330. Personally I believe the apartment to be opposite someone selling drugs. Every 30mins from 2230 -0330 the doors would slam open and close, (shaking the thin walls) as if they are going out to meet someone and deal. The apartment looks out onto a building site and on the same side, from around 2030 to 2330 muptiple times there is a pub worker who pours hundreds of bottles into a skip Walls are thin so conversations can be heard next door Missing TV remote. For my 9 day stay, it would've been nice to relax with some background TV. It didn't work at all without it. Was told they will look into it and i would recieve a response, but nobody did. Bought a replacement remote for the last few days, which i offered to leave it there if they reimburse me... again, useless emails from the company so it went in the bin. No mirror In the bathroom, making shaving a creative challenge. Oven didn't work fully Main entrance was faulty and even unsecured as the lock was broken off Mould and damp coming in from the ceiling, creating a pile of flaking paint on the floor Overall. A terrible place to stay and terrible company to book with. They do not care about customer service at all

Great Xmas holiday at a beautiful property. Well managed and well equipped. The managers were easy to contact and checked that we were doing okay. A nice touch was the beautiful decorations including three lovely trees. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay at North Cottage! The house was perfect and just what we wanted for a cosy family Christmas. It Was incredibly clean and well thought out with everything we needed for the stay. Super cosy home to return to after exploring Northumberland and we enjoyed every moment there! Would definitely stay again

we came to whitby for christmas break for 4 nights . This was a perfect base for a family of 4 . The apartment has 2 bathrooms as well which is a plus with 2 teenage girls . i read loads of reviews before coming complaining of a smell from the bathroom . Well what a load of rubbish ! You are in a basement flat so you will get odd damp smell if it’s been raining etc ! This place has been so beautifully decorated with high quality fixtures and fittings ! you have everything you need including a lovely modern kitchen . we absolutely loved our stay ! Having a parking space is wonderful and a lift was very handy to bring all our things down . My only criticism is the little outside courtyard could have done with a spruce up like the one next door ! maybe privacy screen of a fake hedge and a bit of greenery! would finish the apartment of perfect ! we will definitely look at more of your properties and we had a wonderful christmas break !
