Lovely place near the centre of Corbridge. Penty to do in the area. Very comfortable bed.
You will be asked for an extra £25 for damages insurance or £250 deposit which will be returned after 2 weeks if nothing is broken. Also no tea, coffee, sugar, pepper etc was provided. We were left 1 bin bag and 3 dishwasher tablets for a 5 night stay. I felt given the price, this was not generous.

We enjoyed a much-needed peaceful stay at Dale's. It was in a perfect location to walk into Corbridge, and we quickly felt right at home. Dales was very responsive and friendly throughout.

We had a fabulous long weekend. The house was in a fantastic location all amenities in a walkable distance. Corbridge is gorgeous and very dog friendly. Loads of lovely restaurants, we ate out every night the food was fab as were the bars. Everywhere really friendly and welcoming. Also so many lovely shops and the most delightful bakery, cant remember the name..... Grants I think... an absolute must!
I have one tiny criticism...... a few toiletries would have been nice and perhaps a few cupboard essentials ......salt and pepper empty, no sugar, teabags, coffee, bottle of milk etc!
We will be returning, why would you not! Thank you x

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Corbridge is a wonderful town with plenty to do, and the property is on a quiet street only 5 minutes walk from the centre.
The house was well presented and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable two night stay.

The home was nice but there were obvious things that would have made our stay much more comfortable and convenient.
Minimum towels in bath (two hand towels for 3 bedroom) and kitchen, (only one kitchen towel). Only one dishwasher tablet, one garbage bag, minimal kitchen staples, poorly equipped kitchen

Ideal location for a golf break at Slaley Hall and Hexham. accomodation perfect and Corbridge a great base with plenty eating places and bars. would defintely use again.

Great place to stay. If you have kids there’s a large well maintained play park in the grass area nearby which was also great for our dogs! Lots of instructions and manuals included when we got there which helped using the oven/hob. Has a smart TV in the living room to sign into Netflix and the fire in the kitchen was a lovely addition! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the cottage to attend a funeral in Allendale, it was a beautiful house, plenty of space for all of us. The accommodation was bright, airy & spacious. It was fully equipped and we had everything we needed.
It was a shame we were staying under the circumstances as we would have liked to have explored the area & Corbridge a little more.
It was our first Airb&b stay, but would definitely do it again from this experience.

The property was ideally located for local attractions. The property was in a quiet location with easy access to local shops and transport links. It was spacious and clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

The location in the pretty town of Corbridge is ideal for lovely walks and a great base for sightseeing in the area. We did the riverside walk which our dog loved and took the train to Hexham. Pubs, restaurants and coffee shops are aplenty and the town centre has beautiful boutique shops. Ideal for a lovely few days away with our friends.

Unfortunately when we arrived on Sunday 17th March, he accommodation had not been serviced after the previous occupants. Prior to arrival we had to pay £25 in order to receive the key code. We found this completely unacceptable given we had paid in full before arrival.
We let ourselves in to find dirty bathrooms and unmade beds. We were booked into a local pub for dinner so we went there and kept calling host and stay.
We made numerous calls to host and stay from 4pm until 9pm. The operator kept telling us she would call us back with an update. Not once did she return our call.
By 9.30 we decided to try to book into a local hotel. We walked back to the cottage and received a call from the owner Emily, who kindly came and changed beds/ cleaned bathrooms, vacuumed and made the place comfortable. Emily had only Ben advised if the issue half an hour prior so this was not in any way her fault. The problem lay with Host and stay who ‘thought’ we were not due that day (despite charging us £25 for the key code that day.
Emily said she would organise a full refund for us. As yet, despite emails to find out what’s happening, nothing received and today is 13th May. This review is absolutely not directed at the property or to the owner. We will never stay at a host and stay property again .

Myself and my family stayed here for three nights to attend a family wedding. The house was as described and looked exactly like the pictures. The house is equipped and the agent was quick to respond to any questions we had. A great location for a The location was lovely on a quiet residential street, no issues with parking and we were able to walk into Corbridge for some great meals.

Really comfortable place. Could have left a couple of dishwasher tablets but that’s a minor complaint. I would have preferred if the host had been more up front about their mandatory insurance payment in their description.

Second time here in this lovely cosy cottage. Perfect location as down a quiet side street but walkable to all the lovely shops etc. of corbridge. Was able to park right outside cottage. Corbridge is a lovely village, so much to see and explore.

On a very cold weekend it was lovely to come into this beautiful house with the heating already on! The bottles of shampoo and shower gel for each person staying were also a lovely touch. We were visiting family in the area so we only slept here but would definitely book again.

Warm and comfortable

Too many repeated emails about check in time and added charge before we could access the property of £25 or £250 with £240 to be repaid after inspection. They did not send the details of this the day before so we had to ring them on arrival, fill out a form and send money delaying our entry. This was not a good start, however the property was fine and had good heating and large TVs which were much appreciated.

Cottage was really nice, great location for easy parking but v short walk to pubs and shops. Warm and clean. The experience was soured a lot by communication around the £250 security deposit (link didn’t work, was told to ring a number and give bank details over the phone to someone who was clearly not from the UK). I asked if the money was actually debited or only if there is an issue. I was told sometimes! Oh and it would be 7 days to refund it! The whole thing made me very uncomfortable, together with having a £10 admin fee and £90 cleaning added on (for a 3 day stay!) If we hadn’t been desperate (family member in hospital) I would have found somewhere else.

A brilliant place to stay with a young family. Lots to do, great walks along Hadrian’s Wall. Plenty of fresh air for the kids and burning off good pub food for the adults!
Beautiful place to stay with easy access and clean and welcoming.
We loved it and will be back.

Excellent place, warm, comfortable, quiet, well equipped, quality amenities, everything we needed and more. host & stay communicated brilliantly. AirBnB sent wired short texts (6) which seemed truncated, so we ignored them. Corbridge is beautiful, and the surrounding area is a treat.

Location very good, quiet, central and very comfortable. Very nice property.

After booking I immediately received an e-mail from an insurance company stating that booking would be nul and void if i did not take out one of their insurance options. Really bad customer care - if insurance has to be part of booking then it should be listed and shown with the booking price total.

The shower in the attic suite was too small for convenience. The space is big enough to support a much bigger shower. You might want to think about changing it.

This is a very homely, comfy cottage with good-sized bedrooms and very comfortable beds. Its location is ideal - tucked away and quiet, but a short walk to Corbridge’s shops and other amenities. Well-equipped and supplied with good-quality white towels. Would recommend.

A fantastic location from which to base three days of walking the Hadrians Wall Path. Very comfy bed (which were well appreciated). Close to some lovely pubs (we would recommend the Bull). Would stay again.

The Cottage in Corbridge was a perfect property for 3 of us to base ourselves in. Immaculately clean on arrival and in a great location with local amenities within easy walking distance.
The cottage is as described by the hosts, is extremely well equipped & other than basic essentials/food everything else is provided. Instructions for arrival & access were very clear as was the helpful property guide which is downloadable. We would definitely stay there again.
With regards to Corbridge we already know the area well (Parents live there) however just to note it is a lovely little town with plenty of history, restaurants, pubs & coffee shops and for those not so familiar Northumberland & the surrounding areas/tourist attractions are very easy to get to.

Lovely property, nicely decorated, spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. Beautiful location and friendly neighbours. Would come again.
