We had a lovely stay at The Chimneys. The property was very comfortable, and super clean and tidy. Very easy walking distance to Alnmouth village, and to the beach. Really easy check-in, but expensive for a slightly earlier check-in. Parking space was teeny so we weren't able to make use of it.

Fantastic location, beautiful property and great local pubs and places to eat. Visited with our friends and two dogs and there was plenty of space for us all. Went for some lovely walks and enjoyed the local pubs and restaurants. The nearby beach is great for walks with the dogs and the Red Lion pub is a particular favourite for both drinks and food. A wonderful long weekend was had by all.

A lovely holiday home in a great location. Lovely living and dining space and well equipped for dining and entertaing in. Safe enclosed garden for the dogs. Easy walk to the high street and the beach. Had a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Alnmouth. The house is spacious, nice living space, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Alnmouth is lovely, nice places to eat and drink, lovely beach walks a few minutes away and convenient bus to Alnwick, where further less regular buses go to some great locations. Cragside was my highlight, Alnwick Castle really worth a visit, Bamburgh Castle less so. Beautiful countryside, many great places to stop for food out. Minor things with the house, would be nice to access Netflix, iPlayer ect, but tv was basic. The dining area slight odour, maybe needed a bit of an air. Overall the house was good, comfortable and I would return.

We have had a fabulous week at the Chimneys. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was so well situated. The furniture bedding towels etc are very good quality. The weather was so good that we did quite a few walks from the house particularly along the beach. There is a good choice of pubs and restaurants where you can eat. The only small criticism I would make is that it is difficult to reach the bathroom washbasin because of the step in front of it. Having said that we would certainly return.

Perfect in every way. The Chimneys is a spacious property in a quiet location on the edge of Alnmouth with a bus stop across the road for travel to Amble, Alnwick and places beyond. Pristine clean; lots of places to sit indoors and outdoors; comfy beds. Beach, shops and cafes/ restaurants all handy. Couldn’t ask for more

The house was very comfortable and clean with good amenities. Unusually for Alnmouth there was parking onsite. The house was also pet friendly and pet safe. The village was in easy walking distance with fantastic beaches and a golf course. And of course great local pubs and coffee shops. The fresh clean air was amazing , highly recommend this Airbnb

We had a lovely stay here in Alnmouth. It is very close to the beach and shops/pubs. The house was really clean, spacious and quiet. Parking on site was handy too.

Great place in a fab location. There were few niggles when we arrived that were not resolved by the management company in the 3 days we were there. Took the shine off things a bit. Very late check in and early check out unless you pay £30, which is extortionate.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at the Chimneys (4 adults and a small dog). Property is well laid out with everything you need and within walking distance to Alnmouth centre and the beach. Description of the accommodation was as described and communication with the host was excellent. Parking is available however it is quite tight for a big car; parking is also available on the road at the front of the property. Overall a great choice for a stay in Alnmouth and surrounding areas, highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this house with our young kids for three nights. The living space was spacious and the kitchen well equipped. It’s only a five minute walk to Alnmouth high street or down the estuary to the playground for the kids.

Beautiful location and a lovely house which has an old world charm! had a pleasant stay with family. The only 2 things I would recommend adding are a crib cot and high chair to help families with small babies. overall a happy experience:)

Had an enjoyable and very comfortable 4 night stay at The Chimneys. Property was exactly as described. In a great location, easy to find, quiet and just a few minutes easy walk to Alnmouth and down to the beach. House had everything we needed. Overall, a very relaxing stay. A few other things to note: - large enclosed front porch is really useful, especially to towel down a wet dog and take off your shoes/boots keeping the inside of the house clean. - front door kept sticking and needed pushing very hard to close it (locked easily when shut). Needs a bit of realignment. - private car parking space for a large car/SUV is very tight (small car would be fine) and you have to let the dog out the boot and passengers in the rear first before reversing in, otherwise the front of the car sticks out into the road. Also a high step down from back passenger’s door so you have to be careful getting out of the car. - no freezer (we didn’t need it so it wasn’t a problem for us)

Lovely house, very comfortable. A quiet very peaceful area, quite upmarket. Just a few minutes walk and your in the little village. Great traditional pubs. The red lion served amazing pizza and great wine. The Whittling house restaurant was excellent. The old school gallery was a very cool place if you like art.

Lovely house with a large living space and comfy beds :) great to have an enclosed outside space that seemed to get the sun all day. Just round the corner from a fantastic art gallery and cafe. Short walk to the pubs, shops and beach.

I feel I booked through Airbnb not Host and Stay, So I didn't like that I had to pay a deposit and a £10 admin fee for this service, I wouldn't stay using Host and Stay again because of this. just put it in the price and then we know when looking and booking. host and Stay Take the money straight away but dont give you it back for uptown 10days which is an absolute rip off. its an absolute shame as the place was great. No freezer which was the only let down. We were looking to go away over Christmas and New Year but not with Host and Stay

This was a great place to stay at a walking distance to Alnmouth Main Street, beach, golf course, shops, etc. Host was always timely in the responses to questions. Description of the property was accurate. Property is kept tidy and clean. Really lovely place. Overall, a great choice for a peaceful stay in Alnmouth. Thank you

Beautiful property in a great location for exploring the Northumberland Coast. House was spotlessly clean and exactly as described. Peaceful but within walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. The host was extremely helpful with detailed emails. We felt very welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay.
