Beautifully furnished cottage, nicely located in the back area of a large house that consists of several holiday homes. Equipped with all comforts, although the sofa has had its best time. Great bed, lovely shower. No strange smell noticed or at least not bothered by it.

A really lovely base for a few days away. Great location for the castle and town. A very well stocked kitchen with everything needed for a self catering stay. All clean, comfortable and well presented.

Nice spot. All as listed and described. Secure dog garden was excellent for our two small dogs. Really close to lots spots too - so very convenient. Only downside was the cleaning could have been a tad better. Overall, very happy with our stay here and would recommend to others - especially with dogs.

Lovely 2 night stay recently. Right in the centre of Alnwick with everything within walking distance. No issues with parking. Previous reviews mentioned a strange smell - this was not an issue for us. The outdoor area is basic but well maintained and perfect for the dog.

Lovely location, it’s right next to the castle! Pretty big house, the room was lovely. Sadly we’ve had a weird and noticable smell in our house. I’ve messaged the host, but after a late response, there was no solution. This was slightly disappointing considering the money that we paid. Besides the smell was the stay good.

The instructions for entry were clear. The comms from how prior to arrival were good & I expected a pleasant stay in a well looked after property (taking listing photos into account & the fact that all seemed very professional) however, my wife & I were disappointed once we arrived. The lodge is nicely decorated with all amenities needed but the garden for both lodges are like wasteland, perfect for a dog but not an outdoor space you would choose to sit & relax come evening. There was also a bad smell in all rooms but it was particularly pungent in the living room & kitchen. I contacted the host & the advice was to open windows for ventilation, not great advice as we’d already done this; it didn’t help. I noticed by scrolling reviews that this issue had been brought up in September 2024. The host had replied stating they would get it sorted, this clearly hasn’t happened. To add to this issue, all windows of the lodge were dirty with various stains, a window cleaner might be a good idea

Check in was straightforward then it was such a shame to arrive to overgrown weeds in the front garden. Enclosed garden was at the front of property right beside a path which people walked through, fence 1m high, ok for small dogs but not bigger dogs. Flies and dust on windowsills, grubby uncleaned light switches, ripped sofa with stains and marks. Contact with AirBnB and Host and Stay has been frustrating to report the issues since the day of arrival and 11 days on, Host and Stay advised they hadn't received correspondence that had been sent to them via messages on AirBnB app (that they had replied to!). However in the lead up to the stay, Host and Stay contacted me a few times asking me to stay longer for a discounted price as it hadnt been booked after our stay and seemed to receive those messages ok! On the plus side, great location, parking ok, we had to park approx 500m away, plenty crockery etc, good kitchen facilities, comfortable bed.

We have had a wonderful stay at the Forest Green cabin. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. Though there are several cabins on the property, the surroundings still felt private due to the setup. Everything you could think of was supplied in the cabin, from towels to kitchen amenaties. The cabin is pretty much across Alnwick Castle, free parking is available closeby, and there is much to do in the area. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Alnwick.

The apartment building is very close to Alnwick Castle entrance on The Peth where we were fortunate enough to park on our arrival as that street is free to park with no time limit. Left our car there for two days. Double yellows on the Narrowgate where the apartment is located. The entry instructions were clear and we found our lodge in a tranquil walled garden without difficulty. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Clean and tidy. Very peaceful. Great to have a fenced garden area for our wee dog. Nice bars and restaurants nearby. Two minute walk to Alnwick Castle and fifteen minute walk to Alnwick Garden but well worth it (no dogs allowed in either). Short drive to Cragside House (National Trust) which is a must see and has wonderful grounds. Lovely area to visit.

Had a lovely stay here wish we could have stayed longer. Felt really homely and great location. We did have to nip to the shop to get some more tea bags and milk as there weren’t many supplied but there is a Morrisons about a 10 minute walk away. Selection of DVDs was a bonus.

Modern, stylish and well laid out. Ideally placed right in the center of town but still peaceful. This will the place we stay next time we are in Alnwick.

This is a very nice, well presented, and beautifully appointed cabin. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Alnwick is a great town full of interesting things to do. We enjoyed our meals out but also ate in the cabin with everything working really well. It's a very user-friendly, comfortable space with ample parking not too far away, but not directly on the doorstep. We really enjoyed our time here and would be more than happy to recommend this to any future guests. Thank-you to our hosts. We really appreciate you letting us stay. A and S

Pleasant modern detached place to stay, great base to explore Alnwick for a couple of nights. Arrival tip: the cabin is at the back, through the main building, then up some steps in the back garden. We arrived in the evening so it was easy to pull up on the road and unload into the main hallway, before one of us then went off to park the car. Great shower. The entire complex seems to have a bit of a 'drains-smell' issue at the moment (you could also smell it as you went through the main building passageway), but we kept the bathroom door closed and this was fine.

Nice place to stay however was hard to find. Good location with restaurants and bars close by. Would be happy to stay here again however the garden could do with tidying up as wouldn’t want to sit in it. Would recommend but could do with small improvements.

The cabin was very nicely decorated. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy lounge area and spacious bedroom (comfy bed). The shower was really excellent. Loads of hot water and a powerful jet. Outside was a little overgrown, but after we mentioned this on the chat they immediately (same day) cut back the ivy that had obviously grown a bit vigorously in this warm weather. So response time was excellent. Overall we had a a really lovely stay, and thought the cabin was good value considering its central location. Alnwick is a really cool little town with loads of places to eat and drink. If you like your real ale, don’t miss Harry’s Bar and the Tanners Arms, both cracking places for a pint. The Thai restaurant Leo’s is great too.

A well designed, stylishly furnished and well equipped apartment. We enjoyed our stay. A few quibbles about how well it functioned but we'd have no hesitation in recommending it. Parking worked out fine.
