Saltburn by the sea is lovely, the flat is in a great location. No issues with noise. Good space in the flat. Issues still present with poor wifi connection despite previous feedback in other reviews. Water pressure in shower also low. Overall cleanliness not great, floors, microwave, shower sealant, crumbs in drawers and cupboards. Had to purchase our own kitchen cloth and sponges as the one left was in a very poor state.

We really enjoyed our stay in Saltburn. The flat is very centrally located and in easy walking distance to the seafront. On street parking was busy but we always managed to find spaces close by. The flat is spacious and easily accommodated 5 adults and a baby.We brought our own travel cot and highchair. The kitchen had a few essentials missing - there was no bread knife, potato peeler or scissors and there were no oven gloves. I think some heat proof mats for putting down hot dishes and pans would also be good. We are a family who enjoy cooking and so found cooking more of a challenge than it needed to be. The missing door shelf in the fridge was also a bit annoying. However despite the difficulties in the kitchen, we had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

what a lovely time we had in this very spacious 3 bed. All the rooms a good size and a nice open plan kitchen living space. enough room for my toddler to run about. and also in a prime location. I'm definitely using this place again next time I visit.

The apartment is really lovely. The beds were so comfortable and clean. The only things I could complain about was the WiFi connection not being great, and the water pressure being quite low, especially in the bath/shower. Otherwise, great location - within walking distance to the beach.

Loved our weekend stay here, perfect for what we needed. As others have said the property is above a bar and it can be quite noisy agh the front of the building but nothing that bothered us. It’s a great spot, close to bars, shops, takeaways and the beach of course. Lovely and clean, so spacious. We will be back!

We were so happy when we arrived at the property to find such big spacious and well presented rooms. The location was perfect as a base for us to travel round the coast and Yorkshire moors. The only thing I would like to see different is the option choose a later check out. Our flight was delayed until 11pm so having to check out by 10am left us with a very long day of managing luggage etc. Other than that we loved our stay here and would definitely book again! Thank you to the hosts!

Fantastic location with everything (bars, restaurants, delis, shops, beach) on the doorstep. We also discovered Salburn Valley Gardens only a short walk away which were beautiful. The apartment was fantastic - comfortable and spacious and we were always able to park right outside. Our daughter left her beloved bear behind but they were hunting for it straight away and already arranging to post it back! We will definitely return and hopefully stay here again - loved it, thank you so much!

A great location convenience wise to the beach Unfortunately the bars below are a bit noisy (Fri and Sat night stay) Upon arrival there was no key - but resolved quickly (very apologetic and friendly) Overall the apartment was ok - it was probably stunning when new, unfortunately the carpets are now all in need of a deep clean and things like the bath sealant and a full re-paint. Without doubt the worst part was the wifi - the TV was completely unwatchable - everything is streamed and buffered every 90 seconds. We gave up. A little investment of time and a bit of money would make this nice again.

Overall, very nice place and amazing location - will definitely go back. As mentioned in earlier reviews, some smell of damp in main bathroom, but just needed the fan on for a bit to sort it. Very good communication with host and would highly recommend the place to others.

Brilliant location & easy to access, we didn’t hear any street or neighbour noise. Great facilities inside. The down stairs area was quite cool compared to the living & upper bedrooms. It’s in good condition but would benefit from a kick of paint in the communal & hall areas. Overall, good value for money.

Apartment was spacious and in a very good location. There was a noticeable smell of damp as soon as you came into the apartment which had tried to be masked unsuccessfully with defusers. There were quite a lot of cobwebs on the walls and there were a lot of places that needed a lick of paint or filler in the walls. There was I’m assuming the cleaner waiting outside from about 9.40am with checkout at 10am which was a bit off putting especially because host and stay repeatedly emailed to say we MUST be checked out by 10am or incurred extra charges. Over all we had a nice stay but could have been better

What a lovely place to stay. Saltburn is such a treat. We loved the location of the property and we had a very comfortable stay in the flat. We enjoyed cooking meals with our family in the lovely kitchen and a walk to the beach just minutes away. The street below is beautiful with shops and restaurants on your doorstep.

We had a great stay at License to Chill, the apartment is in a great location to enjoy Saltburn and the nearly shops, cafes, restaurants were perfect. Short walk to the beach. Lovely layout of spacious apartment. Only negatives were that there are a few things that need mending/ improving in the apartment eg loose toilet roll fitting, windows that won’t open and stay open (not ideal in summer) cupboard door in bathroom wasn’t attached, main clock didn’t work. It was generally really clean and beds were very comfy. Slight smell of damp on entry and in one bathroom. Kitchen was really well stocked with utensils, pans and basics which was useful. Check in and communication was great.

This is the second time we stayed at this apartment, and it was just as good. The kitchen is really well equipped and the location really great for both the shops and the pier/beach.

We loved this property and it’s location and amenities. We enjoyed our stay such a lot. It would have been really helpful to know that the apartment was up three flights of stairs before booking as we had a guest with us who found this tricky. A note in the listing would be good.

Lovely, clean apartment located in the centre of Saltburn on a busy street with bars and cafes. 5 min walk to the beach which is beautiful and very clean. Lots of nice places to eat out. Parking outside the accommodation or on nearby streets is impossible (summer) and we paid in a Sainsburys car park. Communication great. Expensive apartment but we did enjoy our stay. Thank you

We had a great stay, we had everything we needed, the apartment was really well equipped clean and modern! Excellent location, 5 minute walking distance to the beach. We managed to park right outside too! Lots of places to eat and drink right outside couldn't ask for more! We look forward to staying again. Many thanks

Fabulous! Great location, lovely decor, all in great condition, very clean, great communication - wish we had stayed longer! There was tea & coffee, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets etc all in there which was handy. Great local info on restaurants which we used too!

Great place. Location wise is ideal - and plenty of space inside with our young family and dogs. Host was really welcoming and friendly. The only downside is we didn’t stay in Saltburn longer. We will be back.

Excellent location if you want good access to the show and bars. The beach is 5 minutes walk and loads of other great places are just a short drive away. Bedrooms are nice and big and the bathroom very clean. A second cloakroom is a bonus. Well equipped kitchen and breakfast bar plus a dining room table if you need it.

Our first visit to Ssltburn and we really enjoyed exploring the area. The apartment worked well and in a great location, a few minutes walk to the beach. Several flights of stairs to reach the apartment door , plenty of space and in a quiet location.
