The property was lovely, comfortable and mostly clean and a great location.

The lovely modern kitchen was let down by being dirty. The microwave was filthy, totally splattered with food, and I had to thoroughly clean it before use. The oven was not clean. Every piece of crockery I took out had to be washed before use, as did the cutlery, crumbs etc in the cutlery drawer. When paying for a well earned break you do not want the first thing you have to do is clean. These area's are most important for food preparation and I couldn't believe it obviously hasn't been checked and cleaned, we do after all pay a cleaning fee . Main light in living room and in one bedroom not working, probably only needed a new bulb, not difficult to check.This is such a shame as the rest of the property is lovely , . If I could be sure these things were attended to we would definitely come again and recommend.

Unable to obtain a parking permit .Past guests said there would be one available on arrival . Parking not metered so couldn’t park outside of apartment as permit only .

Problem with key box (reported). No cafetiere
Supplies seemed rather penny-pinching. Eg. Few tea bags and dish-washer tablets, no spare loo roll, no tissues or kitchen roll

Second time we stayed, hence we obviously enjoyed it and it is a beautiful flat in a great location. More signs of wear and tear than last time (i.e. damage to blinds), which in all fairness is the ocupants' fault not the host, but maybe tiny changes needed in time.
I advise clarifying the parking situation before you get there: we were told there was no parking permit/scratchcard provided the second time, so we paid for private parking nearby, only to find the scratchcards at the flat on arrival. Not ideal!

The apartment itself is lovely and well furnished. The kitchen has all necessary items.
Wow, the location is wonderful- quiet neighborhood just across from the esplanade and the Italian Gardens. The South Cliff “Cliff Lift” is just across the road. Also easy walk for groceries. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place!

There was nothing that we didn’t like, except that we couldn’t stay longer.

Very comfortable and well equipped flat in a good central location Very close to the more southerly of the cliff lifts. Would definitely return.

Everything about the apartment was above and beyond our expectations. Sparkly clean,very well eqipped and comfortable in a very quiet location.Exactly how we wanted it to be. We were celebrating my husbands 75th birthday.The only downside was we didn't get a scratchcard left for the parking so we had to look around the vicinity for somewhere to park which incurred a 24 hour charge over night.We did ring the number provided but they didnt have anyone available in Scarborough that day to help us.

Lovely location near the beach, beautiful apartment clean and decorated with style, loads of utensils etc.nice white towels and bedding.

Bed a little hard in smaller bedroom for my taste.

This is such a stunning apartment in a fabulous location! We absolutely loved the stylish decor and comfortable furnishings, excellent beds too. We often come to Scarborough and have stayed in many places there, but this is top of the list and we won't need to look for anywhere else for future stays!
The peace and quiet was very welcome, no sounds from the neighbours. Everything was beautifully clean, very well equipped and the whole place smelt lovely. I'm pinching some ideas, like the grandfather clock wall decal, loved it.
We needed the heating on but the apartment was soon warm enough and each room could be separately controlled. The shower was great too, good pressure, and it's nice to have decent sized towels.
Parking was very easy as we got parked outside the whole 4 days, even after moving the car several times. Permits were provided, and a parking disc which we realized we should have used the first day, but there were spare permits that covered this.
It was very hard to leave after such a comfortable, relaxing stay, and we were lucky with the weather.
We will definitely be back. All credit to the owners for such a wonderful apartment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The flat was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great for us and there was plenty of parking. We will certainly use the flat again on our next visit.

Very well presented accommodation and facilities with some nice touches

The mattresses of the two single beds joined as a double were basic and uncomfortable. Check in time is 4 pm but check out time is 10 am - thought that a bit mean

The apartment was lovely, just like the photos that sold it to me.
Lovely quite area,convenient for beach, shops,bus route.
Very clean and comfortable, just perfect for our needs.

Great apartment and locality.
Shower over bath wasn't good for us. A handrail would be good. My brother couldn't manage to get into bath, so didn't shower for 3 days. We're both late 70's with a few health set backs which doesn't prevent us from normally getting around and having a good time.

Simple things I wanted to know, not easy to find out. Never managed to get through to talk to someone on phone.

Parking Passes Provided: Although street parking is restricted, the host provided parking passes and clear instructions, which was very helpful and alleviated any parking concerns.

Nice Decor and Relaxing Atmosphere: The apartment is tastefully decorated and has a cozy, relaxing ambiance that made it a pleasant place to unwind after a day of exploring.

Easy Check-In: The check-in process was hassle-free, thanks to the lockbox system. This allowed for flexible arrival times and added convenience.

While the apartment has a lot of potential due to its excellent location, well-equipped kitchen, and pleasant decor, the lack of basic supplies, cleanliness issues, poor Wi-Fi, and unresponsive support detract significantly from the overall experience. With some improvements in these areas, this could be an ideal place to stay.

Unresponsive Support: Despite instructions to contact support via phone or email, we received no response after leaving three messages and sending emails. This lack of communication was disappointing and left us feeling unsupported during our stay.

Lack of Essential Supplies: There were no toilet rolls or bin liners in the bathroom, and no kitchen roll provided. Guests need to bring their own, which was inconvenient.

Poor Wi-Fi Quality: The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable and frequently dropped, which was frustrating and made it difficult to stay connected.

Cleanliness Issues: The cleanliness of the apartment was below expectations. The floors appeared only half-cleaned, and the vacuum was left in pieces and charging in the living room. Additionally, the dining room seats had remnants of food from the previous guests, and there was a strong cooking odor lingering in the apartment.

This is a little gem. It as the waw factor. It's clean and as more than you need .peaceful and is in walking distance to town can't wait go back.

The apartment was finished to a high standard. It had everything we needed and more besides. The location was ideal on the south cliff yet very quiet. We were able to walk into town or down to the beach so hardly needed to use the car. We were able to park outside using the permit provided. Although it was cold inside when we arrived, the heating was easy to control and soon got warm. We would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends.

The key safe was a little awkward as it was very low. One bedroom is down two steps which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues

Uncomfortable settee very minor but would prefer two separate sofas when spending a week or so there!
Would benefit from a handrail on the few steps to the main bedroom for disabled person.

location was perfect. clean spacious and facilities were amazing.

the only let down was no scratch card for parking ,which we were told would be left for us on arrival. we tried to ring owners but no reply. we were on hold so long when trying to ring host and stay that we just found alternative parking. a bit inconvenient but still enjoyed and would book again.

this is a lovely apartment, clean and spacious.
There was no hot water when we arrived. We had to study the file to find
out how to get some.
It states free parking but this wasn't case. There was no parking scratch card provided so we had to park a way away from the apartment. One was finally brought for us but it was the night before we left and they didn't tell us where it was. Very poor communication.
I wouldn't stay here again.
