Gorgeous apartment, very comfortable, excellent location right in the heart of Saltburn and very close to the beach. The pizza restaurant/bar below the apartment is excellent and worth a visit. Would definitely return.

Cleanliness - felt that it had not been cleaned before our visit - dusty and dirty windows. Needed a good hoover on the stairwell, too. TV - could only get one channel. Kettle kept switching off mid boil. Could do with more amenities in the kitchen, including tea towel. The shower head is broken. A blind at the kitchen window for privacy.

Terrible host. Used this flat twice (it is a nice flat, though is ageing fast), never again.
As soon as you've paid for the holiday you get an email asking for more money (a 'damage deposit/waiver') before they will send the check-in details. It may be mentioned in the description, but it's still cheeky and greedy.
£65 cleaning fee yet the bedding hadn't even been changed (could tell by the smell, plus there was a used tissue between the sheets - not nice!). Bits all over the kitchen floor and living room. Rubbish under the (broken) sofa.
Great cutlery - 1 knife and 2 forks. And no washing up liquid!
Their responses are insincere. As soon as we got there we saw that the kettle is still faulty (goes off before it's boiled half the time), the hot tap wobbles and the sofa is broken (all of which we highlighted to them when we stayed there 10 months earlier, their response was along the lines of 'we really value your feedback and will endeavour to correct these problems').

Great place and looks exactly as the photos showed. Matches the style of the town. Bed was really comfortable also!
Host were great too, really responsive, understanding and helpful!

We loved the flat in Saltburn and had a great time. Beautiful decor and furnishings and a great location.
Lots of drawbacks though:
I know it is a flat for two, but only having two knives, two forks etc is a little tedious if you don't wash up immediately every time you use something.
There were no big glasses at all, and only one wine glass (and one flute) which isn't great if you have bought a four pack of guinness, or a bottle of wine to share. The hot tap on the bathroom needs fixing, as does the kettle (it switches off before it has boiled quite often).
There were no recycling bins.
No oil, no salt (annoying, as they are listed).
Finally, I was quite annoyed when I found the 'wood burner' is a gas fire! I asked about this beforehand, brought wood and kindling (as instructed) and carried it all the way up there before finding that out!!! The burner was a big draw (no pun intended) when booking the flat so that was quite a let down.
Poor communication from hosts too.

Location was excellent as on the street with a number of bars and restaurants and two minutes from the seafront. Room was really nice and comfortable.

Adding a £10 admin fee to the damage deposit isn't something I've ever seen before and in my opinion is a bit naughty and detracted from the experience a little.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Saltburn by the sea. It was beautifully furnished and very stylish . It felt really good and was also a short walk from the sea and from some excellent restaurants. Parking was easy , the only downside was noise from adjacent restaurants . However, we would return to stay here as we had such a good time.

Beautiful apartment

Needs a bit of extra cleaning in areas e.g. black on lower bathroom tiles, extractor fan needs vac and carpets need vac around edges. Generally very clean but not 10/10. Especially considering early check out and late check in times.

Worth the money

Detail to cleaning , not very good in places , a lot of thick dust on the bathroom extractor fan , which was making the fan noisy when running and on the large shower head. Hot tap very loose . Mirrors dirty.

Its not made clear on booking there is a damage fee to pay. Either £25 non refundable or £250 deposit. Youre only told this as your stay is near, its in the small print

First impressions isnt good, the hallway is grubby dirty and smells

The apartment is exactly as it looks in the photos, big and spacious, nicely decorated. We got parked for free immediately across the road, there’s a Sainsbury’s directly across the road and the train station too. Good facilities and shower, comfortable bed and sofa.

The only downside was a call from the management company 5 mins before check out time wanting to know where I’d left the keys because the cleaner had arrived and couldn’t get in to the property. It’s a bit disappointing when you can’t arrive until 4pm and you have to leave as early as 10am that they are pestering you to get out even before that!

Great location, everything you could want is only a short walk away, including the train station and the sea. The flat is on the top floor and so it was quite even though there is a lively bar/ pizza restaurant on the ground floor.

Flat was great, lovely decor throughout. Great Central location with superb local facilities on our door step

The main entrance hallway from the from door was a letdown, carpet runner was all twisted and dusty. Cupboard door was left open revealing a freezer? Not quite a true reflection for a fantastic flat. You could do with obsurcuring the window in the kitchen as you flat like you were on public display to the street outside.

Lovely homely apartment that is only a few minutes walk from the beach. Although it is on what can be a busy street at times and above a busy pizza restaurant we had a peaceful and comfortable stay and didnt notice much noise. The bed was fairly comfortable, the pillows ok but quite flat but there were more in the cupboard to use. The living room is cosy and spacious and was nice to relax in the evening in with the fire on watching a movie. Would definitely stay here again!

Great accommodation-light, airy & immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and perfect location right in centre of Saltburn. Excellently placed for all nearby restaurants/ bars & shops. Great as a base to explore the surrounding coast either on foot, by train/bus or by car as plenty of on street parking nearby.

Central to all cafe s and shops and bars, only a short walk to the see front.

Interior windows needed cleaning, plug in bathroom broken, could do with screens on the bottom of the windows as you are on show all the time, but there were blinds from top to bottom.

I like the fact that this place is not near the busy and touristy part of the area. It’s a lovely place to visit. So easy to get to the shops and restaurants. We felt comfortable lots of positive things about staying in this flat and we hope to use it again in the near future

The only bit we don’t like that the food smell does come in the hallway from the restaurant but thankfully it did not come in our place we stayed in. Even though it’s only six minutes walk to the sea people needs to be aware that to get to the Beach you either go down lots of steps and back up again or use the little tram to go down and up in the day until it s closed at 6pm

The beds were comfy the rooms were lovely good wifi and free on street parking great access to the beach quick and easy the walks around the local area lovely.

The Sandpiper apartment was above number 23 restaurant on Milton Street which meant thumping music started at 4pm each day until either 11pm or midnight dependent upon opening hours. Outside chairs below the window meant that their customers would sit outside beyond 10pm up until midnight making it very noisy sleeping was very difficult which had a big impact upon our day. Host And Stay have been informed and will make alterations to their advertising information informing customers Sandpiper is above a restaurant.

Easy to access this property. Beautiful decor and very clean. Well equipped.

TV not working till 4th day. This property is located DIRECTLY above a bar which is NOT in the ad info. Thumping base music for approximately 12 hours a day. Unbearable. No peace. Deliveries before 7am. A real pity as otherwise, a lovely place but the noise pollution spoiled it.

Well located & appointed apartment close to shops & bars/restaurants etc. Great for our weekend stay & would have liked to have stayed longer. Will definitely book to stay again.
