The space
With oak beams throughout and exposed original stonework you'll instantly feel at home at Tregaer Mill Barn. The living room has two comfy sofas and a wood burning stove, while the handmade chestnut kitchen has an electric three-oven AGA and dining table with ample seating for all guests staying at the property. The kitchen itself is fully equipped with everything you need with the AGA, microwave, kettle, SMEG fridge/freezer, dishwasher and kitchenware which can be found in the oak dresser. All of these are available for use during your stay.Tregaer Mill Barn has three bedrooms. Upstairs the master bedroom has a spacious super king-size bed with en-suite power shower, basin and WC. The second bedroom is also a tranquil super-king and also has an en-suite available for you with a wrought-iron roll top bath, wash basin and WC. Head down to the third bedroom on the ground floor and you’ll find a comfy queen bed with French doors opening out onto a terrace with stunning views.
Please note that the bed in the second bedroom can be made into two singles if requested before arrival.
All beds at the property have Egyptian cotton bed linen and will guarantee you a great night’s sleep.
The property also boasts a separate family bathroom on the ground floor equipped with a power shower, wash basin and WC. A boiler fitted in April 2023 will assure you of plenty of hot water and full central heating throughout your stay, on top of the electric Aga and wood burning stove.
In the warmer summer months the Aga can be switched off and a double hot plate used for cooking on request.
The joys that Tregaer Mill Barn bring don’t end inside the property. Outside you’ll find a large enclosed garden. Go alfresco and make the most of the outdoor corner sofa and dining table. This space is also ideal for families with children and dogs, providing plenty of space for them to wander around in a secure environment.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full house. The keys to the property will be given to guests upon arrival.There is free on-site parking for up to four vehicles outside the property.
Please note that Tregaer Mill Barn has two floors with all two of the bedrooms being situated on the first floor which can only be accessed via stairs. The third bedroom is on the ground floor.
We welcome well behaved dogs at Tregear Mill Barn but we ask that they are kept downstairs at all times.
Please also note that the property is in a peaceful rural location on a winding country lane, although only a few minutes drive from the village of Raglan.
Guests should also be aware that the property has its own water supply and mobile phone reception is limited.

This house had a lot of character and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. It had nice touches, such as the dog treats and ciders left for us. Great sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. Lovely garden with great views and secure for dogs. However unfortunately we felt it needed some ‘love’, with a lot of aspects being quite run down, such as the rusting dishwasher door and the rotting gate. The house also did not feel particularly clean, as there was a lot of hair, dust and cobwebs. We did also feel the house had a number of ‘rules’ which we respected however felt it was hard to keep track. The location provided was 10 minutes away from the actual house, and whilst the host did provide written instructions, I was unable to follow as I was driving. This was frustrating as we had booked a food delivery to the incorrect address. Unfortunately due to these reasons we would probably not visit again, which is a shame as it has great potential

Stunning location, beautiful property and a wonderful stay. The owners instructions to find the place were spot on, we had used the Airbnb map directions which took us to a place in the village a couple of miles away. Once we stopped and read the owners directions we were ok, a suggestion maybe to pin drop the location and message guests . The barn is beautiful, perfectly spaced for us, 3 couples, my wife and I and our daughters with partners and one dog. Nice touch with a baked cake and some ciders. Plenty of kitchen equipment , kitchen is perfect and the Aga provides ample heat . Sitting room with log burner , log burner and huge sofas allowed for hours of games and laughter. Jenga never fails. Comfortable sleeping arrangements and the joy of ‘ countryside silence’ great walks within 20 minute drive.
