Beautiful view Managed to park one car in garage and one car outside on street parking. Near to everything so perfect location Please provide hand soap and washing up liquid We were a group of 7 and we had a great weekend here. The house is bigger than it looks on the photos Thanks

Great location. Just fell a little short of expectations. Could benefit from a deep clean, very dusty in areas and the stairs hadn’t been hoovered. When we first entered there was a very strong smell which I discovered the next day to be a crabbing bucket with bait left in the corner of the garage! As previously mentioned by others the garage is tight for size but we did manage to fit a Nissan qashqai in (issues with the door fob but the host did respond quickly), parking isn’t readily available close by it was very busy all the time even though we were out of season. There was no noise from the pub next door but the road outside the property was a lot busier than I had expected so if you’re not used to road noise it will be very noticeable. The view from upstairs is the selling point of the property and its location means all of Whitby is within walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been more comfortable. The house was warm, spacious, and perfect for our group. The views from the lounge were absolutely stunning and something we particularly enjoyed. We would happily rebook and hope to return again.

This is a great property in an excellent location with good views. It does need a bit of a refresh and we would expect a coffee machine, bathroom soap etc if this is advertised as a luxury stay. I think the listing should note that the garage is only suitable for a small car also. It could and should be a great stay and wouldn’t take much for this to be a five star listing

We loved our stay, the place was beautiful and in a great location. Don’t bring a big car as the garage is pretty tight. Really enjoyed it!

This is at least our 5th stay at this accommodation due to the location and that the bedrooms/bathrooms suit our family dynamics. At the previous stay some parts of the house were looking tired but it was obvious that since then some maintenance had taken place which we appreciated. Kitchen fully equipped with everything needed. Fantastic view from the upstairs lounge,kitchen. Pub’s, Cafe’s, restaurant’s, shop’s and all the sight's, thing’s to do are within easy walking distance of the property.

The five of us had a great time . Fantastic views and easy walk into the centre of Whitby. House is fantastic and well layed out and very welcoming and comfortable and garage is a bonus. We got all our bikes in with ease and nice and secure and would highly recommend for staying in Whitby and touring the area and would definitely book again for another visit to Whitby and Yorkshire!

We loved staying at this house. It was very easy to get into the centre of Whitby walking. The outlook from the lounge and one of the bedrooms was fantastic. The beds were really comfortable and it was nice to have three bathrooms. We would definitely come back to stay again.

Fabulous accommodation, every bedroom well furnished and comfy. Showers great and bath tub filled up so quickly. House heated up immediately, lovely view out across the harbour. Christmas tree right outside as high as the balcony! Probably should point out can’t park outside the garage, we had a parking ticket after a few hours. Would book again without hesitation.

Lovely place everything was great until we realised the heating wasn’t working and reading the guest book they knew about it as the previous guests the week before told them. All in all we would return great location and lovely views of the harbour.

The location is great, just a short walk from the restaurants, cafes, shops and beach, but far enough away that it is quiet in the evenings. Would definitely return!

Lovely apartment with great views and plenty of space. There is a garage for parking one car which is very useful in Whitby, however the space is tight so would check with host if you have a large car.

Great place and location to stay , the place was spotless. Amazing communication from the hosts. The only thing I would note is the car garage is very small and large cars would struggle to park in there.

We checked in at 3pm and we had to be out at 10am not good value for money you pay for 24 hours and they want you out 5 hrs early! NOT HAPPY AT ALL LOCATION AMAZING Communication not so good was waiting over 13 hrs for the host to get bk to us in how to use the cooker as it was an induction hob. At the end of it all I watched a YouTube video to help me use the cooker. We probably would have still been waiting.Will be staying in Whitby but not at the town house as our experience was not so good.

This property is in a fabulous location overlooking the harbour. We particularly enjoyed the balcony as the weather was glorious during our visit. We felt like we were abroad, which was fantastic! A few reviews have mentioned the pub next door being noisy but we didn’t find that at all. Great to be able to park in the garage and this leads directly into the property so fab for unpacking. The decor and furnishings are really top notch and the beds super comfortable. We had a really great family time away and I would definitely book again with host and stay.

Wow- what a fab place! The views from the top floor living area were wonderful, and it was even nicer inside than it looked on the pictures. We were five adults and it felt spacious and relaxing to spend time in- it sleeps eight though, and that might feel a little busy in the living area. Communication was great and check in was super easy. It was spotlessly clean. The location is great, really easy access to everything in Whitby, but without feeling like you are right in the midst of the tourism. Our only regret is we weren’t staying for longer!

We had a fantastic stay in a well appointed house with an amazing view of the harbour and beyond. It was big enough for our large party to fit into without feeling too cramped. The bedrooms were comfortable with lovely bed linen and towels. The bathrooms had great showers. It was very clean. We will definitely return.

A great place to stay in Whitby. Brilliant location next to the water and easy to walk into the enter if town. The house was spotless, views across the harbour stunning and accommodation spacious and well laid out. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely house, everything you could possibly need available. Good location, easy access to town, beach , buses, trains etc. We all enjoyed our first visit to Whitby and the accommodation certainly helped. We did recommend it to people we met and would certainly recommend it to friends.

It was a lovely apartment with fantastic views of the harbour on the 3rd floor living/kitchen area. Location was excellent, it was only a 10 minute walk over the bridge on to the other side of the harbour where all the restaurants and shops were. The apartment was very well equipped and we were really impressed. All the basics were there, including kitchen essentials - oil, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee, cutlery, pots pans etc, even measuring spoons and peelers, which was very handy as we cooked a few times. Our only negatives would be cleanliness of the bedding - we found a couple of stains and hair etc but once communicated, it was sorted promptly. The bin located in the kitchen cupboards wasn’t cleaned properly as there was a strong odour when we opened it. We resorted to spraying it and then buying a cheap plastic bin to use outside. The wifi could be better as the signal strength was poor at times and we would have to connect our phones to 4G instead and sometimes struggled to load and stream, e.g Netflix. Overall, it was very comfortable and the apartment is decorated to a high standard. We had a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend staying here, just a few little niggles that prevented it from being a 5.

The home and location were both beautiful, even better than the pictures. 5 minute walk from the beach and boat rides. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. If you’re a light sleeper i would recommend packing yourself some ear plugs, nosy pub next door and walls very thin but other than that we had an amazing stay.
