The five of us had a great time . Fantastic views and easy walk into the centre of Whitby. House is fantastic and well layed out and very welcoming and comfortable and garage is a bonus. We got all our bikes in with ease and nice and secure and would highly recommend for staying in Whitby and touring the area and would definitely book again for another visit to Whitby and Yorkshire!

We loved staying at this house.
It was very easy to get into the centre of Whitby walking. The outlook from the lounge and one of the bedrooms was fantastic. The beds were really comfortable and it was nice to have three bathrooms. We would definitely come back to stay again.

Fabulous accommodation, every bedroom well furnished and comfy. Showers great and bath tub filled up so quickly. House heated up immediately, lovely view out across the harbour. Christmas tree right outside as high as the balcony! Probably should point out can’t park outside the garage, we had a parking ticket after a few hours. Would book again without hesitation.

Location is great although the road is busy and noisy. House is modern.

Standard of cleaning was not great. Property had a number of known maintenance issues that had not been addressed before arrival - broken toilet seat, damage to skirting from leak, loose tiles to bathroom, a note on shower to say not to use it for too long as it floods the bathroom. Hairdryer did not work and we had to purchase one first thing in morning.

The location was great. The property was perfect for our family and the garage was a bonus too. Lovely view from the apartment.

The bathrooms on the middle floor could do with some refurbishment. The main bathroom appears to have a leak.

The accommodation was very smart and comfortable. The beds and bedding were of superior quality. Wonderful view. The location is perfect!

Not much at all to dislike. A touch tiring as the accommodation is over 3 floors..but we knew that.
A couple of kitchen items missing..sharp knife, wooden spoons, a colander, but hey, we managed..oh, and the large clock on the wall without a battery..if I'd had one I would have changed it.
Just needs a little TLC, but all in all, it's a really lovely place to stay..

The location and view over the marina in Whitby.
The large choice of bedrooms.
Stylish well-equipped kitchen.

The bathrooms needed a deep clean, showers had blocked drains which smelt and were not clean in the corners. Dirty towels left in bedroom. Clean ones as well though!
Not very personal or efficient dealing with a company by phone not the owner when help required or issues needed sorting.
Non-refundable damages deposit had to be paid, irrespective of whether the house was left tidy and in good order.
The top floor had no blinds or fans and was uncomfortably hot in July sunshine. The windows didn’t open in the house, (no key?)and the upstairs door stuck at one opening only.

The location of the townhouse is fantastic and a huge bonus to have the open living area onto the balcony with great views of the river. Its in easy reach of the town.

The rooms were smaller than what they appeared to be on the photos and the front bedroom was very hot with only 2 working windows. The noise of the seagulls in the early hours of the morning 4am was quite annoying so ear plugs would be recommended so not to be woken. The overall decor could do with re-doing in places with attention to detail as the photos look superb. We had to hoover on arrival and there was no made bedding for the sofa bed or sheets to use. If you have a car it only accommodates one small car in the garage, not a 7 seater like ours.

I will put a more detailed description later but if you are in this property now I feel sorry for you, front ensuite floor grimy, bathroom overflows-informed Host & Stay immediately with no response so I rang them about the kitchen bin/cupboard smelt of sick and was told it had been bleached then told I could go in the cupboard and throw it away-I did not want to touch it, toaster does not work and other things broken. pairs of pants and socks in the drawers (not ours)-Host & stay do not care-they have your money! The £10 admin fee to take your money is a scam I have complained as all of this has made our stay here ruined they will not return my damage money until up to 14 days when it was clearly cleaned yesterday! Ive seen other complaints and a fob off replies from Host & stay saying sorry. If this is your property get rid of Host & Stay! They are running it into the ground and could not care less about you or the people staying there.

It was unclean, bins not emptied, nuts left on the floor, holes In the bedding, mould in two showers, carpet have not been hoovered, ashtrays full of cigarettes, stick substance on the sofa. We had to fully clean the property on arrive to use it.

There was No blind in the lounge so unable to sit on the sofa due to the sun. There was lots of noice from the pub and house next door. The front door is not safe for kids as they can turn the lock and get out it’s not a key lock

I rang to complain with no answer, I emailed a
Complaint which took well over 24 house and they offered me a cleaner at 5pm the night before leaving. I I was asked to submit a complaint via email which I did, I was then asked to submit a the same information on a complaint form, meaning my complaint had been submitted via phone, messaging service email
And a complaint form. It is not over a month since we have been and my complaint has not been resolved and I am not getting a response to me email sent over a week ago.

When paying over £200+ a night is not the condition or service I expect to receive.

The location was perfect and our view from the townhouse was fantastic. The kitchen had all amenities needed.

Could have done with an extra key because we were 4 adults and a child who wanted to be more flexible. Some shower caddys would be useful for guests to store their toiletries. One of the showers had a notice not to shower for long as drainage slow which needs attention.

Spacious kitchen/dining table and sitting room with balcony big enough for 8 people.

Cafetiere was broken! Plus I couldn't find a sieve nor colander.
No shelf in bathroom which was a pain for toothbrush n toothpaste n deodorant etc etc.
Elaborate bathroom sink.
Garage quite a neat fit for my car.

We had a great stay. The house was comfortable, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The view from the living room and the front bedroom was fantastic! The house was in a great location and very close to the town.

Even with the heating off, the house was very warm, particularly in the twin room. It would be good to be able to open the skylight or have the use of a fan.

Another toilet roll in the main bathroom please as it is shared between 4 people .

3 storeys not really suitable for anyone not used to stairs. A bit too close to the pub next door, could get noisey. Also only 1 parking space for a place that sleeps 8 is not great.

The booking system was a huge hassle in terms of trying pay the deposit and then wait a considerable period of time to get it back.

Fantastic apartment, very nicely decorated and we had a lovely stay. Plenty of kitchen facilities, rooms were all lovely. Garage very handy but you can also park for free on the street opposite (just be careful though as when you get further up near the Fleece Pub the on street parking is chargeable). Easy short walk into Whitby with plenty to do and see. It’s not obvious from the property description but 2 of the double bedrooms are en-suite with a family bathroom serving the other double bedroom and twin room. 2 of the double beds are also very very firm so we didn’t sleep well at all but ok if you like a firm mattress. But that didn’t spoil our stay and we would certainly rebook the same property again.

The property was so lovely and spacious the beds were very comfortable so much so I went today and brought the pillows and duvets they use! The company are very good and helpful and manage the booking really well. There is a garage its quite tight but we got our evoque in fine. There was lovely touches like nice toiletries and tea and coffee avaliable when we got there.

Doorbell didn't work so we had to watch out for our takeaway as living room on 3rd floor so wouldn't hear a knock

word of warning if you are bringing a big car it may not fit in the garage our mini clubman only just squeezed in

1. Two bedrooms have windows that cannot be opened, no ventilation either.
2. Top floor living room is very nice, with fantastic views, however, it gets unbearable hot in summer due to the large window front. Blinds or curtains would be a good idea to keep the heat out (it was more than 50 degrees in the room!)
3. Kitchen utensils: one blunt bread knife- could do with a few paring knives to cut fruit and vegetables. Also only one wooden spoon- to cook a meal for up to 8 people, not very practical!
4. Bin in one bedroom had not been emptied, kitchen bin was filthy and windows had a lot of finger prints on....

The Townhouse was as luxurious as the photos portrayed...It was wonderful especially the living room area with the balcony and amazing view of the harbour. It was so spacious and the perfect setting to help celebrate our moms 70th! I have a feeling we will be back!

We checked in at 3pm and we had to be out at 10am not good value for money you pay for 24 hours and they want you out 5 hrs early! NOT HAPPY AT ALL LOCATION AMAZING Communication not so good was waiting over 13 hrs for the host to get bk to us in how to use the cooker as it was an induction hob. At the end of it all I watched a YouTube video to help me use the cooker. We probably would have still been waiting.Will be staying in Whitby but not at the town house as our experience was not so good.

This property is in a fabulous location overlooking the harbour. We particularly enjoyed the balcony as the weather was glorious during our visit. We felt like we were abroad, which was fantastic!
A few reviews have mentioned the pub next door being noisy but we didn’t find that at all.
Great to be able to park in the garage and this leads directly into the property so fab for unpacking.
The decor and furnishings are really top notch and the beds super comfortable.
We had a really great family time away and I would definitely book again with host and stay.

Wow- what a fab place! The views from the top floor living area were wonderful, and it was even nicer inside than it looked on the pictures. We were five adults and it felt spacious and relaxing to spend time in- it sleeps eight though, and that might feel a little busy in the living area. Communication was great and check in was super easy. It was spotlessly clean.
The location is great, really easy access to everything in Whitby, but without feeling like you are right in the midst of the tourism.
Our only regret is we weren’t staying for longer!

We had a fantastic stay in a well appointed house with an amazing view of the harbour and beyond.
It was big enough for our large party to fit into without feeling too cramped. The bedrooms were comfortable with lovely bed linen and towels. The bathrooms had great showers. It was very clean. We will definitely return.

It was a lovely apartment with fantastic views of the harbour on the 3rd floor living/kitchen area. Location was excellent, it was only a 10 minute walk over the bridge on to the other side of the harbour where all the restaurants and shops were. The apartment was very well equipped and we were really impressed. All the basics were there, including kitchen essentials - oil, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee, cutlery, pots pans etc, even measuring spoons and peelers, which was very handy as we cooked a few times. Our only negatives would be cleanliness of the bedding - we found a couple of stains and hair etc but once communicated, it was sorted promptly. The bin located in the kitchen cupboards wasn’t cleaned properly as there was a strong odour when we opened it. We resorted to spraying it and then buying a cheap plastic bin to use outside. The wifi could be better as the signal strength was poor at times and we would have to connect our phones to 4G instead and sometimes struggled to load and stream, e.g Netflix. Overall, it was very comfortable and the apartment is decorated to a high standard. We had a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend staying here, just a few little niggles that prevented it from being a 5.

The home and location were both beautiful, even better than the pictures. 5 minute walk from the beach and boat rides. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. If you’re a light sleeper i would recommend packing yourself some ear plugs, nosy pub next door and walls very thin but other than that we had an amazing stay.
