Absolutely lovely house! Very spacious and perfect for the 9 of us who stayed. Quite dusty still in lots of places. Just didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly. There also wasn’t the PlayStation that was advertised so I had two disappointed 14 year olds! Other than that, we had a great stay! Perfect location and walking distance to local shop, Peasholm Park and North Bay

The Townhouse is a large family home on the North side of Scarborough. It is adequately equipped for a large number of guests with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and cloakroom and plenty of seating. There is plenty of storage in all the bedrooms. Sky TV plus WiFi is provided and there are TVs in the bedrooms. Apart from a highchair there is no nursery equipment such as a stair gate or cot. There is not much outside space, a small bare decking area with limited seating. The house is situated within walking distance of the town centre, Peasholm Park and North Bay. There is disc zone parking outside which is limited to 2/3 hours during the day so if multiple families stay as was our case all cars have to be moved to pay and display. Other properties we've stayed at in Scarborough have provided parking permits which is helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and clean and we had excellent response from Host&Stay throughout.

Would have been the perfect place for a family holiday if it was cleaner - there was a lot of pet hair, which we hoovered up when we arrived We contacted the host who was responsive and offered to meet with us We still had a great holiday

We had a lovely stay here. The house is located within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. It's a well equipped and very comfortable place to stay and quiet at night, which was a blessing as we had young children and babies with us. Dale was quick to respond to any queries. All in all, I recommend it.

We had a great time at the townhouse. It was clean, spacious and it easily fit the 10 of us. It’s in a great location not far from the beach. Bedrooms were a good size and comfortable, also had a good number of bathrooms. However we did have a few things that weren’t major issues but made it a bit difficult for us: 1. It’s advertised to have space for 10 people but only provided 9 dinning chairs (there were 2 stools but they were too tall to sit comfortably at the table) 2. The kitchen wasn’t equipped for 10 people, with not enough cutlery, saucepans being too small and a lack of certain basic equipment such as a grater. It could have done with another chopping board but that’s purely a preference of not cutting everything on the same board. Also the one deep baking tray provided didn’t fit in the oven. Also there were no recycling bins / area. 3. There’s only two parking scratch cards which would have been good to know beforehand so we could plan other parking. 4. Bedroom door lock

Easy check in. The area is quite run down but the location is great. Very near the park, North Bay, an excellent bakery, fish and chip shop and a couple of pubs. Easy walk over to South Bay. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedding and towels were all spotlessly clean. There was a bit of an odd smell in the kitchen on arrival. The living room was a bit dusty. There was pet hair on the sofa and we found a few things under the sofas! However, we all had a lovely time and would recommend to others. Really spacious- all bedrooms a good size, kids room, dining room and downstairs loo were all appreciated. There wasn’t a PS4 provided as stated but there are TVs in every room which is a plus!

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and overall, it was a decent experience. The place itself was really lovely and had all the amazing amenities we needed. However, it was a bit dirty upon arrival, which was disappointing. Additionally, the owner was slow to respond to our messages, which made communication a bit frustrating.

This property is in a great location, walking distance to north beach, the town centre and the water park. The house was big with decent sized bedrooms , modern bathrooms and a good sized kitchen. The Property could do with a good paint throughout as the walls are well worn / marked/ looks run down. We were very disappointed by the lack of attention to detail in the cleanliness of the property. My daughter found some soiled knickers in a bathroom cupboard, I stood on a big piece of broken glass and a screw. Under the sofa had not been checked or cleaned as there were items such as a dummy, ball and dirt. Upstairs was clean. The location was good but the street appeared to be quite run down. It could be a great property with tlc.

The house is large with plenty of room for a large family group like ours. It was quite central and easy to reach the beach, restaurants etc. The biggest problem was the cleanliness. It needs a really good deep clean. I think Host & Stay should monitor their properties better so they can check on standards. If cleanliness could be guaranteed I would certainly book again.

The only problem was that the living room had no curtains, and everyone looked in as the went past . It also made the room feel cold . There were inappropriate images on the chalkboard,and we had children in our party .

This is a great house in a really useful location- roughly 15 minutes walk to the south beach and about 7 minutes walk to the quieter north beach. There’s a wonderful park very close to the house which has pedalos, a band, miniature train and loads of other things to do. With three young boys, the location was perfect for us. The house is clean, comfortable and has a lot of bathrooms which for a big group of people is so useful. We were sent a guide to staying there which was useful and had good communication with them throughout. We really enjoyed the stay.

An excellent stay at a brilliant house, more than enough space for 6 adults and 4 children. Big rooms, clean, great amenities, can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to be back!

A beautiful house with a lovely spacious feel and with the beach just a 5 minute walk away. However, for the money we paid, we were surprised at a few things: ~ radiators on the top floor did not work, making it very cold ~ a broken toilet seat in the en suite and a broken flush in the downstairs toilet (which my husband fixed) ~ a broken plinth on the main coffee table in the lounge ~ no hairdryer even though listed in the amenities ~ no stair gate supplied so hard to follow rule of keeping the dog downstairs ~ no dustpan and brush, can opener, grater or lid on the teapot These are all things that can be easily fixed, so hopefully they will be for the next guests.

A very spacious house that worked well for our family group of 10. An easy short walk down to North Bay or Peasholm Park. The only things missing are some better kitchen items to cater for large groups- very little in terms of large dishes and pans etc. I've never seen so many wine glasses however!

Brilliant property. We had a fantastic stay. Inside was beautiful and clean and as a big family with lots of couples and dogs we all had plenty of room. Only concern we had was that there was lots a rubbish bags piled up on the decking of the property. It was incredibly windy one evening during our stay and the rubbish was blowing about! Other than that, fantastic stay and im sure we will be rebooking.

Overall we had a great stay and the house was excellent. It was really spacious, plenty of seating in the living room, comfy beds, and lovely big bathrooms with great showers. There were a few things that could have been improved: there were quite a few light bulbs missing (the one in the entrance was missing so when we arrived in the dark, i had to use a torch to find a light switch that connected to working lights), there were big bags of laundry left in the hallway, and the bin area was filled with old rubbish. It was still great value and a great stay though

Great location, North Bay and Peasholm Park very close. Places to eat and North Bay Fisheries just around the corner. Property is ideal for large family groups but would benefit from some updating (windows, front door etc) and kitchen having wider range of pots, pans and utensils.

My family and I (6 adults, 3 children and 3 dogs) stayed at The Townhouse and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. It is in a great location just a short walk to the beach and town.
