Nestled on the edge of Ashbourne in Derbyshire, The Stable is a beautiful, family friendly holiday let. You’ll have full access to the property during your stay, which includes a welcoming open plan living, kitchen and dining space, two ensuite bedrooms and a separate WC. Boasting private on-site parking and outdoor space with furniture, The Stable is perfect for group staycations, romantic retreats and getaways with friends.

The space

Upon entering the property, you’ll be welcomed into the light and airy living, kitchen and dining area. Perfect for socialising and relaxing, this space includes two comfy sofas, a log burner, flat screen Smart TV and a round dining table with four velvet chairs. Contemporary in style, it is ultra spacious and perfect for enjoying the quiet countryside surroundings.

A sofa bed sleeping two is available in the living space which can be made up upon request. When made up, this will increase the occupancy of The Stable to six.

The kitchen features a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, toaster and cookware so you can make the most of your self-catering stay.

Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find the two ensuite bedrooms on offer at The Stable. Both bedrooms boast comfortable king-size beds, bedside drawers and lamps. There are also sloped ceilings to add a somewhat traditional feel to this otherwise modern property. Both rooms really do have a tranquil feel to them.

Clean and modern, the ensuite bathrooms both have a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin. A downstairs WC is also available at The Stable.

Guest access

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to The Stable are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be provided prior to check-in.

We stayed here for 2 nights as it was perfectly located for Alton Towers, and we honestly had the best time. The place was absolutely spotless, beautifully modern, and filled with natural light, while still feeling really cosy and welcoming. The owners have created such a special space. Our kids absolutely loved the animals next door and the open fields , it made the whole stay even more magical for them. Communication was clear and seamless throughout, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. The location is ideal, with great access to both Alton Towers and Manchester. We’d 100% recommend this place to friends and family, anyone staying here is guaranteed to make amazing memories.

Out Host Ann was great, good communication throughout, had a small issue with Vac and she brought a replacement straight over. The accommodation was just as advertised and everything was spotless. Lots of everything in the kitchen which is always great and three nice sized TVs along with good WiFi. Perfect location for my Daughters wedding at Grangefields Barn just up the road. Would certainly recommend.

We had the most amazing time! We will definitely be coming back very soon! The location was amazing we had a lovely quiet weekend away! I have already recommended it to my friends and family! The Annex was spotless and was a mini home for us for the weekend, with amazing views our daughter loved the Sheep nearby. Overall 10 out of 10!!
