The kitchen and bathroom were really good quality and very modern. I can’t fault anything from pre arrival information to everything in the pod.

Maybe have someone look at the front door as it was really difficult to open, it may have swollen with the rain but it needs adjusting.

Nice and roomy and the location is great. Wifi was very fast, kitchen and bathroom were modern, the bed was very comfortable and everything just worked really well. Overall a very nice stay!

Place could have been cleaned a little better after the previous resident, but these were very minor things.

We didn’t eat in so cannot comment on kitchen equipment, fridge looked clean. Great location, close to everything. Bed was comfy. Easy to follow instructions to gain entry.

TV didn’t work, wire hanging down with bare copper wires hung out, lump of copper on the floor, so may have been an issue before. Bad stains on carpet & bits all over looked as if it hadn’t been hoovered properly. Reported when we arrived, morning after the agency said the owner did offer to come out to look at the TV. We did say it didn’t matter as we were only there for another night. No refund offered.

Place was quiet , comfortable and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. Room had an iron tv and hairdryer. Great shower. Comfy bed and plenty of pillows. Only a couple of minutes walk from beachfront and 1 minute from Sainsbury's.

Check in and out. Difficulty with key. No staff about. Had to phone.
Air conditioning was set and we couldn't adjust it. 2 bath towels only one hand towel . Lock on toilet door was broken.

Very clean and modern room, I even had a partial Sea view which was unexpected.
I thought the on line guide was really informative. Easy to acess the property after being sent the code. A good base for a two day stay and the craft beer bar Twenty 23 was in the same street and I found a good Thai restaurant just 5 min walk away.

Location - close to my daughter and family who live in Skelton. Fantastic location - Saltburn is beautiful and can walk to the beach and watch the surfers and paddle boarders. Will definitely be returning.

We were extremely pleased with our stay in a lovely well-equipped apartment in a great location for the sea and all local amenities. Exceptionally clean and comfortable we definately got value for money. The Pillar Box micro pub nearby is worth a visit as is The Ship with seaviews. Great walks to Redcar (8 miles return along the beach) and a scenic 5 mile circular from The Ship pub. Would definately recommend staying at Studio 3

We enjoyed staying at the Studio Pod - the location is great & there is a very comfortable bed with mattress protector although there was only one pillowcase on the pillows - it would be more hygienic if the pillows had protectors that were washed after each guest too.
We discovered that the main overhead shower wasn't working and is leaking from the pipe down the wall when the shower is switched on - the sealant around the bath at the bottom of the wall boards has black mould and is missing in places - we reported all this through Host & Stay so hopefully it will be rectified soon before water goes through to the Studio Pod on the floor below.
Overall though, nice looking studio with good facilities & a great place to stay for a weekend away when we come to visit our son & grand-daughter.

I stayed in pod 3 for eleven days. The stay was with my partner who had flown from Vegas. We found the bed very comfortable, we found the area amazing. It served our needs and was very affordable. I am very thankful that have found this gem in my hometown.

We were informed that we were in Pod 3 but when we accessed the key box to pod 3 the keys were for pod 1 on the ground floor we were disturbed twice out of the 2 night with the noise transferring from the pod above. This was due to the laminated floor installed echoing the footsteps of the person walking about from when the come back to the pod at midnight. This happens on both night disturbing our sleep. We could also hear the TV and what appeared to be dragging a chair across the floor and the opening and closing of the cupboard doors, I feel that the dividing floor does not meet current acoustic standards required for HMO’s

Everything was exactly as described and very clean.
It is handy for me when visiting my son and family.
However I sort of resent the added on charges for cleaning and insurance, I do think these should be included in the price shown. Especially in a unit rented to one person.
Cleaning charges seem to pop up quite often now but it is the only place I have come across the insurance charge.
Love the unit and ease of booking, stairs could be a problem for some.

The house is well placed in Saltburn being just across the road from the Railway Station and shops and restaurants. The beach is only 5 mins away. Milton Road has a lot of unrestricted parking so it is possible to park close by.

We felt that the apartment was nice - spacious, nicely decorated, but a little dirty including some unpleasant stains in the bathroom. It was missing some of the nice touches sometimes seen in other airbnbs - eg. Only 2 tea bags

Lovely self contained studio done to a very high standard and everything you needed even complimentary tea, coffee and coffee pods and sachets of milk on arrival. The location is great on the main street. Good communication too at all times.

We had to pay £20 to cover deposit for property none returnable or pay £150 for deposit and provided everything ok £140 would be returned taking a £10 admin fee - sorry don't agree with this and didn't see till after we had booked.

This was our first visit to Saltburn and we were not disappointed!
The property was as listed - very comfortable and everything to hand.
We really enjoyed the Food Festival - what a buzz it gave to Saltburn....and the weather was just perfect!
The property is very well placed in Saltburn- we travelled by train and was amazed to find that the property was a minute's walk from the train station!
We ate at Seaview restaurant, which we can highly recommend...and we also had their takeout fish and chips too!
Saltburn is a most lovely place to visit, with easy access to the surrounding coast and countryside.

I had difficulty using some of the appliances, no manuals or instructions available, I phoned Host and Stay re this but it took 7 phone calls and 2hrs before the problem was resolved. The damage protection requirement was not mentioned before booking. I have informed Host and Stay of these issues.

Saltburn is very quiet but weather was not good so this could have been reason. Not a lot there but suited us. Very nice place and will return. The studio pods we stayed in was very clean the bed was very comfortable would definitely recommend it. Location couldn't have been better.

We paid a insurance for if anything got damaged. Wasn't told about this until we booked and payed. This was put on extra after you can not get key code until it is paid. We got a message off host asking if anything got damaged would we inform them if we didn't we would be charged. Isn't the insurance we paid for that. Either way we would inform them.

Lovely little morden studio flat. Comfy bed, brilliant kitchen and a tidy bathroom.
The property itself is mere minutes from the local train station and busses so you can explore further around the coast even if you don't have a car. The beach is a short walk down the road and it is absolutely beautiful - the pier and Funicular are a must see.
The town itself is a quirky, quiet town with a some great shops for poking about in and a well stocked supermarket so you can cook meals back at the flat should you choose to.
We're fallen in love with Saltburn and would definitely visit and stay at this property again. Thank you

Schade dass die Unterkunft schmutzig war.
Meine Frau hatt selber noch über eine halbe Stunde geputzt.
Küche, Bad, WC, Abfallkübel, Fenstersims, Boden, etc.
Schade war auch, dass bei der Buchung nichts von Kaution und Zusatzkosten, die wir zu Zahlen hatten, geschrieben wurde.
Das hatten wir in den 4 Wochen Ferien in Scottland noch nie.

More spacious and better equipped than anticipated. On the whole, the apartment was clean. Starter supply of tea, coffee and milk was appreciated. Free on street parking was handy.

Black mark on bedding, mould in corner of bath. Didn’t realise the apartment was at top of house, and the two flights of stairs with luggage was not ideal. Glassware had to be washed, as they were finger-marked. We were awoken at 5.30 am on the morning of departure by the fire alarm! Owners did not answer their phone when another resident tried to contact them. The fire brigade was summoned by another resident. Happily, no fire was detected and the alarm was turned off.

The stay almost went wrong from the start when it appeared that there was no hot water and this was discovered at 10.30 p.m. the night of our arrival. After an hour trying to find out the reason going through procedure manuals which did not seem to help, it turned out that the tap in the hand basin in the bathroom had been plumbed in the wrong way so that to get hot water, you had to turn it cold. everything had been set up to operated automatically and it was o.k. after that.
What I did not like was the constant bombarding with e-mails from Host & Stay reminding us that we had to verify the booking at least 7 days before arrival., 8 days before arrival, I received an e-mail to say that the booking was at the point of being cancelled due to non--verification when this had been done 2 days previously. there had to be several telephone conversations to clear up minor problems.

I can't recommend due to the deposit situation.

They took a deposit of £250 plus a £10 admin fee which meant I had £250 taken off my card for weeks. I've never stayed anywhere that has taken a deposit off me like this and I have stayed in hotels in 86 countries around the world. It just isn't something that happens and it's really unfair as I had to take photos of everything in case of a dispute, I did get the money back but the anxiety that money could be taken for any reason was horrible. It was like renting somewhere and worrying you didn't clean it enough when you leave so not a relaxing holiday at all. Also, the property would be covered by insurance in case of damage, yes people do damage places but it isn't the norm and I would have cancelled it if it wasn't non-refundable.

I call this a spreadsheet space. Everything is calculated to maximize return. No contact, tons of warnings rules, zero personality.
Damage deposit, the only one I have seen, was excessive and held way too long.
Warnings to be out because cleaners to arrive by 10am, okay fair timing but tone was awful. And if cleaners are there by 10am, why is the damage deposit held for so very long. As I said, squeeze all they can, treat guests like sheep, and hold their money. Great financing plan, for them.
Will never agree to such terms again.

Not enough sound proofing between the pod and the one above. Noisy neighbours kept us awake.
This property was our second choice as our initial booking was cancelled without explanation.

The pod was very impressive and exceeded our expectations. The pod was seconds away from the station, close to lovely restaurants and bars and a few minutes walk away from the beach.

The apartment was very clean and well furnished providing a very convenient central location to explore Saltburn and the area. However, the host failed to provide the access code prior to us arriving and did not answer the phone leaving us standing out in the rain for nearly an hour. Two weeks before the arrival date they started demanding personal and financial information to only be communicated outside of airbnb, which is against airbnb rules. We reluctantly complied in order to not have to cancel our holiday.

Lovely stay here, although if I book again I will go for pod 1 or 2. I didn’t realise this was on the third floor and had some very heavy bags and a partner with RA. No other complaints though, the pod itself was lovely!

Well equipped kitchen, missing only a bread board/knife. Fresh milk and ground coffee, including a Nespresso machine with pods. Modern and stylish furniture.
Very close to restaurants, bars and shops
Can see the sea (just) out of the window from Pod 3.

Layout of bed and wardrobe, tight to get past and open drawers and door. Banister height on stairs to 2nd floor were very low, which made climbing down awkward for someone tall who needs the banister to descend safely.

This Airbnb was in the perfect location in such a beautiful little town. Everything was only a few steps away, from the beach, restaurants, the farmers market, groceries, and only a few steps from the train.

The bed was very comfortable and the pod had everything we needed. Check in was a breeze. A big thank you to our host!

The studio pod was very well resourced. The kitchen had a coffee maker and coffee pods, salt and pepper and a teapot which was very welcome. As was the pint of milk in the fridge.
The accommodation was furnished to a very high standard and was very clean.

I would have liked a full length mirror but it was not essential.

The location was excellent. Right across the street was a Sainsburys supermarket and Saltburn train station. Along the street were some lovely new cafe bars and restaurants and several minutes down the road behind the property was the beach. The property itself was the perfect size. Small but spacious all newly fitted out with the usual mod cons. The bathroom was beautiful. All in all it was clean and relaxing.

Although we didn't hear much noise, the outdoor bins were right outside our ground floor apartment which made me feel a little uneasy about opening the windows. It was totally secure but anyone from the other apartments who were taking their rubbish out would easily see through the middle window so we kept the blind down. We also noticed halfway through our stay the noise coming from the apartment above. Whoever was staying there frequently walked up and down daily and the noise was very loud.

The location was great for what we needed. A couple of shops very local to the accommodation meant that there were no issues at all when we needed anything at all. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, etc. The studio had everything that we needed and was very clean and well presented.

The location was brilliant- opposite Sainsburys and town (yet somehow quiet) and a 5 minute walk to the sea.
It looked exactly like the photos- brand new, modern, fresh and clean, including full kitchen facilities.
Parking was available on the street outside.
Arriving and departing instructions were easy to follow.

The windows are mostly frosted as the pod is by a bin area (seemed well kept so I wouldn't worry about smell).
The toilet is really close to the bath which might be an issue for a larger person.
No hairdryer
I didn't like having to upload my driving license to a third party to verify the booking.

Excellent location, short walk down to the beach. The studio pod was fabulous, spotless and had everything you could need.
