We stayed early March as a family of 5 incl toddler & dog. Communication via host was superb and answered any queries promptly. The apartment was a great size very cozy with comfy beds and modern bathrooms. The kitchen was a great size but we did find the living area very small in comparison with the rest of the apartment, we had to take turns to sit on the couch! the sea views are beautiful to look out to, very relaxing and the location is 10/10. Accessing the apartment is a hike up 6 flights of steep stairs which myself and partner managed but my parents in their 70s found this a “put off”. Mentioning only to make others aware as do feel it would compromise someone’s trip. There is an amazing restaurant down the road called The Fat Badger and a lovely coffee house over the road which is open every day. We would love to return to Whitby but feel we would prefer one of the apartments on the complex with a balcony. Overall fab stay!!!

Three of us stayed at Sea Watcher and it was perfect for our requirements. The apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. Lovely sea views and close to all the main amenities. We would recommend the apartment for a stay to Whitby.

6 of us stayed in this apartment and overall it was a fabulous stay. Bedrooms were lovely, open plan kitchen/diner/living room spacious & awesome views of the sea. 3 separate bathrooms. Slight issue with hot water running out mid shower during 3rd person showering but left it a while and it did warm up again. Very well kitted out. Could do with a mirror in the en-suite bedroom at the front of the property for drying hair but that’s a minor niggle. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

Apartment was excellent, fabulous views from the living room looking onto the seafront and just a short walk down into Whitby (about 10 mins). The beds were very comfortable and with 5 of us staying there the 3 toilets/bathrooms were greatly appreciated. The only negatives were the electric hob not functioning properly (I noticed this had been pointed out on a previous review by another guest) and the apartment didn't have a toaster. Otherwise everything else was excellent, showers were decent and electric heaters soon warmed up the rooms. Would definitely stay here again

The apartment is beautifully decorated and the sea view is perfect. However as other reviews have stated the shower is not hot ! It does not match the luxury of the decor. The en-suite shower was cold water. The shower was dirty with a lot of black mould on the hose. The middle bath/shower was warmer but was still not hot enough. There was loads of hot water in the kitchen so the problem is specific to the showers. All the bathrooms smelled unpleasant . I know this can be a problem in apartments. An air freshener would have helped to mask the problem. The apartment is lovely and the shower situation spoils the experience. I was glad we only stayed two nights.

It was a pleasure to stay at this place. It is newly furnished and the facilities are great and easy to use. Cleanliness was flawless and we really like the sea views and three bathrooms. One thing to improve is the hot water supply in one of the en-suite bathrooms - it was lukewarm water coming out. Other bathrooms were fine. Great value to see a beautiful town and its surroundings. Would definitely come again.

The apartment was easy to find and within 5 -10 minutes walking distance from the train station. Great surroundings and views. The views from 2 of the bedrooms and the living room is the beach and sea! The apartment was well furnished with the most comfortable beds. The bedrooms and linen were all clean and fresh. We just found that there was hardly any hot water in the showers. It was Luke warm at best. In these winter months it is nice to be able to have a hot shower. We also found that the showers were mouldy. The tiles had mould on them and they just didn’t feel clean. There’s industrial stuff you can get to clean these areas which staff in the hotel I work use which are incredible. Other than that we’ve had an incredible stay! Great choice of accommodation. Lots of pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. Great for families and friends. Thank you!

Lovely place to stay, great views over the sea. Apartment was clean and modern. Had an issue getting in as the key is almost impossible to put back in the lock box! Also had a problem with the water in one of the showers not being hot enough, and then all hot water started to go cold. Contacted the property and they were very responsive and helpful. There are still a couple of saucepans/frying pans in the property that don't work because they are not compatible with the induction hob. Over all lovely place and fantastic location.

Lovely apartment. Ideal size for a group of 6 adults. Not suitable for people that cannot climb stairs. Just 10 mins walk to the centre of Whitby and beautiful views of the sea.

The location of the apartment is fantastic. With beautiful views out of three rooms. With the added benefit of the telescope, kept everyone entertained. The apartment was well laid out and has everything you need for a short or long stay. All the bathrooms were spotless. The lounge did have several stains on the carpet and walls were marked in some area's. We felt the 4pm check in was a little late and host and stay were not flexible on the check in time. The car parking pass was fab and finding a space was easy. I would definitely recommend "Sea Watcher" and would return.

Great location and easy to park. The apartment is near the top of the building so carrying suitcases up the stairs can be a challenge for the less fit, but the view is great when you finally make it.

A lovely apartment with great views overlooking the sea and a telescope to watch the boats come and go - but be prepared to climb a lot of stairs. Very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen - although not all the pans were compatible with the induction hob. Parking in the area can be tricky, so check you can have enough scratch cards for your party - otherwise it’s a bit of a trek to a free parking zone.

The apartment is well presented and in a great location however there were problems. In communication it is implied that the damage deposit is due immediately. It is not as long as it is paid before your trip. Upon arrival the accommodation had issues. Telescope was damaged, saucepans not clean, cups do not fit with coffee machine, pans not compatible with induction hob. Contacted host and stay who did not deal with them but directed me to yet another form to fill in with 7 day turnaround. No good if you are staying for 3 nights. Small refund gesture for dirty utensils was welcome but other issues regarding telescope, pans and coffee machine ignored. Security deposit was taken immediately upon contact but return of deposit has taken over a week. Overall marketed as premium but not a premium experience.

We had a lovely time in the flat - it was immaculate and so spacious. Amazing sea view and great proximity to Whitby town centre. Thank you so much. The only thing we didn't have when we arrived there was the parking scratch card which was promised on arrival. We did get one posted through the door on the following day after I called to enquire about it. It was sorted out in the end but would have made everything perfect if we hadn't of had that inconvenience. However, would definitely recommend to others and we would love to return one day!

Great accommodations in a beautiful spot on the water. Loved going to sleep with the sound of waves and waking up to that amazing view. Walking distance from the train station and close to lots of great restaurants and pubs. Beds were comfortable and lots of space for the 3 couples traveling together. Coffee and tea supplied was much appreciated in the morning and the coffee shop across the street was convenient for those wanting a latte or fancier coffee options. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The apartment is in a fantastic position and overlooks the sea. It is clean and spacious and easy to check in. Very close to all the attractions. Every time we showered the water only stayed warm for a short while even though the tank was full and we took turns to shower. The bath water was hot and did not go cold. We were a party of four adults. We reported it but it was not resolved. There wasn’t a saucepan and when this was replaced it wasn’t compatible with the hob. I would expect a company who own several accommodations to know the correct equipment. Host and Stay mislead the customer. As soon as I paid the full amount I was told I had to pay insurance for damages and if this wasn’t paid I would not be able to have the apartment. Please be careful when booking with them. This was the first time we have had this experience via Airbnb and it has made me nervous about future bookings.

The flat is very well positioned, with great views out to sea. It is very well-equipped, well-designed and modern feeling. The one downside of this booking was that after I had booked through AirBnB (with no refund if cancelled) the management company sent a request that I make a separate security deposit through a third party website. It was not made clear on the Air BnB listing that this was required. The requirement was dropped after I objected, but it added stress to the process.

Perfect location for a trip to Whitby during the Halloween period. Apartment was clean with modern furnishings. Worked out great for a group of 6 with plenty of space and 3 bathrooms too. Beautiful view of the sea and a quick walk to all of Whitby’s sights. Very easy to access with no contact key collection and a helpful app guide.

Sea Watcher is lovely. As the name suggests, the view is gorgeous and the apartment is very attractively decorated and was super clean inside. Any tiny issue was addressed quickly by host and stay. The location is perfect!

The appartment was clean and looked like the photos. It is in a great position with a sea view. The beds are really comfortable . The kitchen rather encroaches the sitting room and the living area is a little cramped for 4 and would be very tight for 6. It is in a great location for exploring Whitby.

What an amazing apartment with such beautiful views of the sea. Location perfect. Close to town so you can walk in but on the quieter side. Only drawback was the stairs being on the third floor - certainly kept us fit! 🤣 The apartment was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beds super comfy. They provided so many extras too. Clara’s cafe just at the front of apartment was so good and we would sit on the green at the front with a drink and watch the sea. Heavenly! Parking was very difficult as we sometimes had to park a long way away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, well designed luxury apartment. The location is excellent the views looking out over the beach and the sea are breathtaking. The apartment is decorated and furnished to a very high spec and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything is brand-new and in perfect order. The whole block has been renovated to a very high standard and we as a family of 4 we really enjoyed our stay. This three bedroom three bathroom apartment is a perfect home from home I just wish we could’ve stayed a little bit longer. The apartment has everything that you need for a fabulous holiday and we would definitely rebook this apartment or any of the others in the block without hesitation. The parking permit included was a really nice touch as were some complimentary coffee pods and milk. We loved our stay thank you!

The apartment is so true to the photo’s & has all modern facilities & everything you need for you stay. When we visited there was scaffolding up outside one of the bedrooms but thankfully we didn’t need to use that room
