This is our second stay in this apartment, we love saltburn and come here often. We really like this one when we come child free. The location is perfect, the room feels so big and luxurious. Dog friendly and has everything you need. We have cooked on both stays so everything you need for that. It would be good if there was a refundable booking option, we had some family health scares on the week leading up to the booking but felt as it was non refundable we had to come. We would probably book more often if that was the case as we love saltburn and this is our favourite place to stay.

Very nice property. Music every night which I wasn’t prepared for. Saturday was the worst the sofa vibrated. Could not get the log burner to work. Saltburn was very a nice resort. A hidden gem.

Beautiful large and elegant property. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen. There is noise from the restaurant downstairs but it closes at 9pm

The apartment is bright, spacious, and stylish, with a very comfy bed, tasteful furniture, and a great shower. Location is ideal. Sadly, the positives were overshadowed by how filthy and noisy the stay was. The kitchen was grimy—crumbs and food everywhere, dirty trays left in the oven, and unclean glassware. The bathroom floor around the toilet was dirty, carpets stained, windows filthy, cobwebs by the dining table, and thick dust on all ledges, inc above the bed. The communal hallway was also unclean. Basic kitchen essentials were missing, and even the only scissors were broken. Noise was a huge problem: while bar music stopped at 11pm, the horrendous clattering of tables, chairs scraping, and extractor-fan-like noises - this was on Mon/Tues so not even weekend. Every movement from the flat above carried through, and with the apartment stiflingly hot, opening windows wasn’t an option due to high street noise. Earplugs were essential. Dog owners should note there’s no nearby grass.

Very spacious, grand apartment. Nice decor. Clean and tidy. Great location. We go to bed early so the noise below in the bar on Friday and Saturday night was quite loud (especially if you’re a light sleeper) but all went silent at 11. We’d stay here again definitely.

Ideal location, great for visiting local area. Would definitely stay again in the future. Dogs love the walk to the beach and the Valley park with the little train.

I am still waiting on someone to get back to me after formal complaints that have been ongoing for over two weeks Only told there was no hot water when we were ten minutes away from the property after a 3 hour drive. No heating Blind would not pull up so half the apartment was in the dark Shower head kept falling out the shower so was unstable. Was declined late checkout, even though I was hoping for some consideration as I was having to use the washing up bowl to wash my hair, was told they were on a tight a schedule. So we checked out at 10am and then at 1:15pm had a phone call from host and stay accusing me of not leaving the key and the cleaner was trying to get in, not the tightest cleaning schedule. Host and stay ignored my cries for help, was just sent automated emails to put in a complaint form and they’d look at in in 7 days. Still have had no response or apology, was initially told I’d be compensated. Am so upset by the whole experience

What a great find! Lovely place, perfect for a couple to get away. Regarding “noise” - it’s not really an issue unless you intend to be tucked up in bed by 9pm. The music ends promptly at 11am and is barely noticeable if the TV or your own music is on. The location is pretty perfect with good access, great local bakery and bar which serves excellent food. The place itself is a gem. Clean, well looked after and comfortable. Although, if you plan to cook- there was no way to dry dishes so bring a tea towel! 😅 All in all, this was a superb find and stay.

Flat is located very centrally for everything you might need in Saltburn - 5 minutes to the beach and near all amenities. Very easy check in and check out, and good comms. The space is large for two for a short stay, with a reasonable kitchen and shower room.

Great flat, roomy and comfortable. Centrally positioned and easy to get out onto Cleveland way or bus to Staithes. Saltburn is still a bit of an undiscovered gem. I can understand why previous guests have had an issue with the noise from the bar underneath as between 4 and 11 it’s certainly present but can easily be masked with a smart speaker or the tv.

Beautiful studio apartment spacious, bright and airy. The location is fantastic- on the ‘strip’ where shops and bars are located. The kitchen was stocked with teabags, milk etc , as was the bathroom stocked with adequate toiletries. Bed linen clean and towels provided. The only negative comment I can make is that the entrance to into the build needs to be cleaned. Overall it was perfect!

As others mention, the music from the bar below is a drawback, but ends precisely when the bar closes. The apartment itself is nice enough, but some instructions do not match reality. The rest of the building could also use a good cleaning, but this is likely not up to the host. Overall great location in the middle of saltburn and plenty to do.

Overall a wonderful stay, lovely space and close to local amenities. Bathroom and main living/sleeping area absolutely pristine and definitely impressive. As other reviews mention, some noise can be heard from restaurant/bar below, but always done by 10-11pm and not overly bothersome. Only slight negatives - no large glasses, listed as having a coffee machine but not one there, no washing up supplies left, given dishwasher tablets but no dishwasher.

Excellent flat in central location. Free on street parking was easy to find near the flat and it was close to all the bars and a supermarket and only a short walk to the seafront. Would stay there again

I booked the apartment for my husbands birthday for a weekend mini break. The pictures are lovely but don’t do it justice the apartment is stunning, so spacious and with everything you could need. The apartment is so well placed with so many cafes, bars, restaurants and the sea front in a short walking distance. The host sends a very helpful local guide on email when checking in which is so helpful. The only small downside is the noise that can be heard from the resturant below, neighbouring apartment and the one above. Obviously can’t be helped by the host. The resturant does shut at 11 so it’s not loud for too long.

Lovely furnishings and very comfortable. The range of kitchen cutlery could be improved. Housekeeping and cleaning needs attention eg rubbish left from previous stay. Dirty entrance/ communal area. Great location and handy for shops rail station and cafes. We have stayed at the address before and do not recall the damage waiver requirement. This was not made clear at time of booking - notice the website entry has been updated now. Noise from downstairs bar sometimes an issue this time - music should be turned down low at their stated closing time.

The flat was beautiful and comfortable located at a town centre close to train/bus stations, and seaside. However, the management company has made the process extra difficult and stressful. They first required a payment of 250£ deposit (15£ admission fee non-refundable) or 25£ insurance coverage but the link they sent can't take payments successfully after many trails. Before and during the stay, we received many emails written in a politely threatening tone regarding don't do this, do that, leave by this time, and otherwise there will be additional charge. These just felt like constant threatening/policing emails during our stay when all we wanted was just a peace of mind without additional stress. The management-company charged 50£ cleaning-fee for our 2 days' stay and required us to clean and tidy everything before we leave. This felt wrong and there was no sponge for cleaning dishes. We still had a great stay as the flat was very comfy and we felt at home right away.

Good location. As other reviews have said you can hear the bar in all the rooms but it isn’t open too late so it wasn’t a problem for us. No chopping board or bread knife so if you use these take some with you. Same for large glasses.

Had a wonderful stay at Sandpiper, its a lovely apartment and was exactly as described, the photos didn’t really do it justice. Would have preferred an earlier check in, 4pm in my opinion is too late. That said wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place.

A great spot to soak up those seaside vibes. Apartment was spotlessly clean with everything you’d for a short stay. The business downstairs as previously mentioned does impact on the property re noise though was expected. Who ever was in Sunday morning also had the sound system going from 10a.m. Perhaps a polite word in their ear. Other then that all was well.

Lovely place, much better than I'd expected if I'm being honest. Exactly as in the pictures, and much larger than I'd assumed. As others said, the pizza place (really a bar after 9) played music that could be heard until 11:00-11:15, but we visited around Christmas so maybe that explains the later stop to the music. Definitely plan to visit again.

This flat is ideal for two adults, being close to all amenities and having a range of bars and restaurants all within a short walk. (Indeed, thete is a bar below the property that serves delicious, wood-fired pizzas. it's worth noting that you can hear noise in the flat from the bar, but this stops at closing time - we were in the bar so no worries there!) The property is furnished to a good standard reflected in all the fixtures, fittings and bathroom.

I have no complaints about the place itself which is gorgeous , beautifully decorated, close to the beach and brilliantly accessible by train. However I did worry whether I had accurately recorded any damage in case they wrongly deducted it from the £250 they required as an additional deposit and the worry marred my stay. You also need to be aware that it takes over two weeks for the money to be returned, (currently I am still waiting)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spacious apartment. Really loved the decor, comfortable bed and modern bathroom with a good shower. Location was great, street parking a bit difficult when arriving on a busy weekend but we had no problem moving the car to outside the apartment in the early evening. Noise from the bar below wasn’t a problem, it closed at 10.00pm and one night we were in it anyway! Highly recommended - we would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to stay - it is right in the town centre and only five minutes from the sea. There are plenty of places in the town to get food and drink for picnics or for an evening meal. The flat has everything you need for a short break and is very quiet.

The hosts have created a really beautiful apartment for their guests with top level design and comfort. A fantastic location too. The small gestures of fresh milk and tea and coffee was also very much appreciated. The communication and descriptions were accurate and efficient. Overall this was probably one of the best airbnb stays I have experienced.

Fantastic flat. Really got the 'wow' factor. Amazing place to stay. Yes, it's above a bar and pizza place, and you can hear a bit of noise from below, but don't let that put you off. It didn't affect our stay in the slightest. A lovely, lovely apartment. If you want to stay in Saltburn, then seriously consider staying here. We loved it.
