We stayed as a family of 5 with a small dog. Plenty of space and amenities for us all. Great kitchen with everything we needed. Pub across the way was quite noisy in the night so something to consider if you have young children but it didn’t keep ours awake! We had a great stay and everything was a short walk away and a short car journey to Alnmouth beach. Would recommend

Beautiful house. Clean and tidy, exactly as in the listing. Very responsive hosts. Had a lovely stay with easy walks in to town and plenty of free parking. There’s so much to do in the surrounding area. Pub opposite is noisy on Fri and Sat nights and there was a surprising amount of traffic noise at night too. If you’re staying with someone else in your room then be aware that the en-suite is very narrow and has no door.

Fabulous house in a great location. It was spotless, cosy, well equipped and right in the middle of town. We had a great stay and enjoyed our New Year celebrations immensely! Would definitely recommend.

A lovely property right in the town centre walkable to everywhere. We found parking easily round the corner everyday . The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding . Ideal for 3 couples with 3 en-suites . Wonderful social and well equipped kitchen and utility room. Having read the reviews I was prepared and took ear plugs as the pub directly across the street has karaoke on Friday and Saturday night, other than it was very peaceful . We will definitely come back ! We arrived on Christmas Eve at 7pm to no heating, but with lots of communication we were warm within an hour and a half .

Lovely house in good position. Very well equipped. Parking a bit of an issue but as long as you don’t mind not being able to park right outside is manageable with near car parks. Good local shops- nearby eateries. Pub opposite bit noisy Fri/sat night. Would not hesitate to return

Just returned from a three night weekend stay in this lovely property. Our party of 6 (three senior couples) particularly enjoyed the spacious communal areas, whilst quietly celebrating my husbands 70th Birthday. The house is very well equipped, maintained and exceptionally clean. All three bedrooms were ensuite, which suited our group perfectly, we felt it was exceptional value for money. Host communicated very well, highly recommend and plan to return. Keep up the good work.

Lovely house, well appointed and fabulous kitchen and comfortable beds. Great to have en-suite in each bedroom although they were slightly tight on space. No recycling facilities, only one bin outside. Great location with all Alnwick attractions walkable. Also easy access to lots of other towns.

Lovely house in the town centre a 2 min walk to the castle and gardens - we visited both. House is really nicely done, the kitchen was amazing. The only thing we struggled a little with was the sloping roof in the upstairs bathroom but everything else was perfect. Thanks to for a lovely holiday

Lovely house with great facilities, especially the kitchen. Very clean and well maintained. Convenient location, minutes from the castle, gardens and town. Parking no problem later in the day or early morning and it's free! The only downside is the noise from the pub opposite late into the night on Friday and Saturday nights.

Ideally located in the town, and easy to walk to everything, be it to visit the castle, take a wander over to Barter Books or just take a stroll through the town. The place is beautifully furnished and just like the photos. No complaints but anyone sensitive to nighttime noise should be aware that it is centrally located so there may be a little noise. Also, as another reviewer has mentioned, space is tight in the bathrooms. These weren’t issues for us and we had a great stay.

Accommodation was perfect for 3 couples. It was an ideal location, big enough and everything we required the property had. kitchen fully equipped. Felt like home from home. The property is beautifully presented, clean and tidy. Due to location opposite a pub, ear plugs are a must, unless you are a deep sleeper, or don’t mind a bit of karaoke. Unfortunately we had a night of some dreadful singing!!! Overall a great weekend and regardless of the bad singing we would stay again. ☺️

Fabulous place to stay in a convenient central location, within a few footsteps of the main shopping street with lots of places to eat. Lots of beautiful beaches and castles all very local. The house was very homely, clean and so well equipped, we didn’t feel like there was anything missing. We were a family of 6, and the house provided enough space that we weren’t on top of one another. Very tastefully decorated period property with a modern feel. Very clear arrival instructions and plenty of free places to park close by, we didn’t need to contact the host whilst there but knew they were easy to get hold of should we need to. Alnwick Castle is well worth a visit, as is Bamburgh Castle with its beautiful beach. Would definitely return and would highly recommend.

Loved our stay here, hopefully will be back soon! House was ideally situated for exploring the local area. Town centre and the friendliest pub ever just on the doorstep. Everything was spotlessly clean with comfortable big beds and good linen, fast wifi throughout the house. Kitchen is well equipped with quality appliances and crockery. Free parking nearby and a drop off area outside the door. Communication was perfect and our hosts provided an app giving clear information on the property and places to see in the area. Their attention to detail even included the provision of games and books.

Great location, immaculately clean, comfortable beds, had everything we needed. Host was very responsive and always answered within about 5 minutes. A really lovely house in such a beautiful town, with a place to pull your car over outside to unload, and walking distance to the castle and garden and a super town. Be aware that the existing louvre blinds on the bedrooms, while smart, do not adequately cut out light and noise at night. It was difficult to get to sleep because of the light and because there was karaoke in the pub opposite until 12.30 on Friday and Saturday. In the top bedroom, there is no door on the bathroom, and there are two Velux windows above the opening to the bathroom which have no blinds on them, so when the sun started to rise at 4am the room was flooded with light. We have fed back to the host that blinds should be added here - we simply couldn't get a decent night's sleep, and sadly we wouldn't stay here again because of that.

Great property and great location. Very clean and tidy with quirky top floor bathroom. Would definitely recommend and return. Our only suggestion would be for blinds on the two velux windows in the attic bedroom as it gets light early with no covering on those windows. Thank you.

The house was lovely, perfectly placed in a central location close to everything you came to Alnwick for. Alnwick Castle and Gardens a short walk away. Barter books just down thr Road. Thr playhouse across the street and close to well reviewed pubs and restaurants. The house was lovely, just as described, However, we did find there was an issue with the electrics. On 3 occasions, the downstairs sockets stopped working which knocked out the fridge, kettle, Internet etc. This proved a bit troublesome but luckily I knew how to get it back on in the fuse box. Something that needs addressing for future stays. overall I was happy with the accommodation.

Beautiful well appointed house, with a contemporary look. Central location in the town. After a 6 and a half hour journey, we found we couldn't open the door to the house. After speaking to Host & Stay a locksmith arrived who eventually got us into the property causing a further delay. The house itself is stunning with a beautiful kitchen diner with everything you need. Lovely large bedrooms. The only downside to this property are the ensuite rooms. Let's just say sizewise they were very challenging and didn't have doors on them as were so narrow!

Great house, great facilities, amenities equipment, very clean. Alnwick nice town and very good for touring the north east costal areas. Would defiantly return. Few points to note if being very picky: - Hall to Kitchen door, quite east to bang your head if over 6ft, solution do it once and bend down more. Ceilings in Attic on suite quite low. - there was an issue with electric tripping the kitchen sockets, happened a few times, reported the guys they said they will check. No big issue just reset the switch

A beautiful house for our long weekend. Beautifully decorated and furnished. The beds were really comfy. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had a very short walk to Alnwick’s shops, pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely house (the kitchen is dreamy) and location, very walkable to a free car park, shops and restaurants. Wasn’t so happy about the extra £25 insurance I was messages about form the host to pay on top of the booking cost (but felt obliged to pay it), spoke to air b&b who were saying conflicting info on this. Was for my fathers birthday so didn’t want to loose the property late in the day. But over all really liked the property.

Great place to stay for visiting places locally. Lovely house, great size kitchen and bedrooms. Beds were so comfortable with lovely pillows and linens. If I’m being picky the on suites were a little tight but still good, as I would rather have one than not 😀 There is a small space outside the house we used to drop off and unload and there’s plenty of free parking near by.

The property was very clean and spacious and very well equipped although the previous occupants kitchen rubbish had not been emptied - an important oversight. Beds were extremely comfortable. It is very central to Alnwick, just yards from the Playhouse and transport. However there is a very noisy pub right across the road with karaoke nights on Friday and Saturday so unless you want to join in be warned.
