The view from the apartment was excellent and the location perfect. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and has absolutely everything you could need. It has the feel of a luxury hotel which means it doesn’t have the usual personal touches an Airbnb has. The en-suite large shower head wasn’t working and walls needed a good clean but with another shower over the bath in the main bathroom it didn’t impact our stay. I reported it so 🤞it will get sorted for the next guests. But it was still really nice and those minor issues can be solved so I’ll be back.

The apartment is in a very good position with so much in walking distance. It has lovely sea views from the living room window. The apartment is airy. The kitchen area is well equipped.

Had a lovely stay here, the pictures don't do it justice, everything was modern and luxurious and to a really high standard, the bed was especially super comfy. Definitely the best place I've stayed at in Whitby by a long long way. Free parking was really handy too. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Third time we have stayed here and it is probably the best small Abnb we have stayed in Clean warm and very well equipped. Lovely big bed. Lovely view Couldn’t ask for anymore. Host helpful and responsive. If only they were all like this. We will be back

We thought the apartment was great. It was as described, large,clean and modern. The location was really good, parking was easy and there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. We would stay again.

We had a lovely stay in this beautifully presented apartment. It was exactly as described and had fabulous sea views. There was plenty of space for four adults, making it a really comfortable base for our stay in Whitby. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend it to others.

We loved our stay, the apartment was bigger than we thought, with a great sea view, comfy beds and good water pressure. We were pleasantly surprised by how well equipped the kitchen was - could have hosted Christmas! The parking permit was such a win, but also well positioned if on foot.

We know Whitby well and prefer to stay at the west cliffs. The flat is an amazing place to stay. I brought my parents for the first time which is why I chose a bigger apartment than we normally go for and it was perfect just as described. We’d definitely stay again even if it was just the two of us. Would highly recommended.

The Connell was a fantastic base for our trip to Whitby. It had everything you needed and there was lots of space for everyone to chill out. The location is great, it takes only 5 - 10 minutes to get into Whitby town centre or the beach. Obviously the view from the apartment is spectacular! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely apartment in excellent location. However there was awful smell (drains/sewer?) coming from the en-suite bathroom, which you could smell as soon as you entered the apartment. Looking back at the reviews this has been ongoing for several years. Would return to Whitby but not this place unless the pong is removed/resolved.

We enjoyed a two night stay with friends. the apartment was superb, modern, very clean with a fantastic view of the sea. The place was large enough to host two couples, without feeling cramped. The two large bathrooms were a real bonus, to allow extra privacy. We can't wait to come back.

Fantastic place. We stayed in low season. Parking was immediately available outside the apartment with the scratch card permit provided. Spotlessly clean and well equipped property, the beds were comfy. Sea views from the breakfast kitchen and lovely clean windows everywhere that opened. The heating worked well - snowing during our stay. Easy walk down to the harbour and beach, and not far from the abbey. Cafes, pubs/microbrewery and bakery all close by. Although managed by an agency the communication was excellent. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

Just back from a relaxing stay at the Connell Whitby, a home from home, a very comfortable apartment, everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided, this is my third time visiting the Connell and we will be returning again very soon, close to town and beaches, a fantastic apartment in a wonderful town, parking spot provided on the doorstep, well worth the money, thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful apartment

This is an excellent flat and we have stopped here several times, however on this occasion we had to chase a parking permit and the on suite bathroom needs a deep clean. The other areas of the flat were very clean. This would not stop us visiting this flat again and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Great location in Whitby, lovely views from the property particularly on sunny evenings. We had a slight hiccup with the parking pass, but this was quickly rectified by Host & Stay customer service. The apartment was great. The finish inside was to a high standard and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return.

Lovely flat in a really great location. However, had some issues… One toilet roll left in the property between two bathrooms and four people, the boiler hadn’t been switched on so we discovered we had no hot water and had to root around the utility cupboard to get it going (not great) and the en suite bathroom smelt musty and awful throughout the stay because of what seemed like a drainage issue. So overall, I’d happily stay in the apartment again, but a little bit more preparation is clearly needed before guests arrive.

Me and my family came to stay for a long weekend and had a wonderful time at this apartment. It was warm, cosy and clean and matches the photos you see. The location is beautiful with a very nice and easy walk into the centre of Whitby. The hosts were very responsive and helped us secure parking permits (which are only available November-March) which we were very grateful for. I would 100% recommend and would stay again!

Fabulous stay at The Connell. High spec beautiful apartment with stunning sea front views. Location great, a few minutes from the Whale Bones feature. .Easy to find the premises, there are parking permits inside the property which meant we could park right outside which was great. Really comfy beds, lovely bedding & towels. Had a fab nights sleep, the temperature was perfect in the bedroom. Had everything we needed in the apartment for our stay. The host Charlie was extremely helpful with excellent communication. All round, a top class place to stay & we definitely want to book again in the near future. Thank you for a hassle free, luxury break. Wonderful!!

Lovely place. Modern comfortable flat. Really homely . The best place I’ve stayed at in Whitby. The only issue for me was. No welcome pack. Left one dishwasher tab for 4 days and not even a tea towel . Really poor for a luxury place like this. Having said that I would happily go again. Such a nice location.

The place was spacious for 4 adults. Clean and tidy. The building has a lift which is a treat after all that walking. Close enough to the town and great views of the sea. Parking was a plus too. I did have to raise a couple of points to the host but they communicated back quickly and got it sorted.

I’ve given a 1 star as I can’t give 0. The apparment stunk of raw sewage coming from the en-suite shower! Host and stay couldn’t have cared less, terrible communication form host and stay. Now 2 weeks on and still not satisfied with Host amd Saty response! Just not good enough.

The sewage smell coming from the en-suite bathroom was horrible. The whole flat was smelly, very unpleasant. Other reviewers said the same but I expected the issue would have been fixed after a few complaints but that was not the case.

Fabulous place great location soured a bit with the 😳😳£60 cleaning fee in a 2 bed flat for a few nights. The £25 insurance fee for a waiver imposed by Host & Stay after booking or you ain't getting check in details The non attendance of a maintenance man to sort out the stuck bath plug or the dead remote battery's. The freezing atmosphere with all heaters turned off on the 16.00 (half day gone) earliest check in

What an amazing place! Perfect location. Clean, homely feel. Had everything we needed for our stay. Access for the key at check in was really easy and simple. The whole apartment has been finished to a high standard. The sea view was a spectacular bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely apartment in a great location. The apartment was spotlessly clean and really comfortable, the Christmas tree and subtle decorations were a nice festive touch. It’s location was perfect for exploring everything Whitby had to offer and the parking scratch card was an added bonus, meaning we could park directly outside. Would definitely choose to stay again if visiting Whitby.

The apartment is in a great position looking out to sea and is within walking distance of the beach, and other attractions. It is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay with our 2 grandchildren.
