it's a perfect location if you're visiting Holy Island and super easy to travel to as it's sits right on the A1 but was surprisingly tranquil even though you're literally 100 metres from the main road. the place was incredibly spacious and very fairly priced compared to others. the beds aren't great if you want a softer bed and the ensuite bathroom desperately needs regrouting near the bath and the dead bugs in the light fixture clearing out. aside from that it was super easy to locate and get inside and the bath despite needing a clean was so fast to fill and great to relax in after a visit to all the local attractions. would definitely recommend just can't give 5 stars due to the mould/meldew and dead bugs that need sorting.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Coach House while working in the area. It is very spacious and has everything you need for a short stay exploring the Northumberland coast. There is a nice pub over the road too

Lovely house. Couple of niggles with the showers and cooker but owners have been made aware and hopefully will fix On road to Holy Island and just off A1 so great position for sightseeing

An amazing place and perfect for trips to Holy Island and beyond. A beautiful house with lots of room and so much light coming through the windows. My aunty and mum (both in their 80s) kept commenting on how amazing it was and one of the best places they have ever stayed in. Would highly recommend.

The coach house was a beautiful and spacious accommodation, easy to park, and lovely surroundings. The service station nearby had adequate groceries for our breakfast and was easy to walk to. My main complaint is that the property is managed by a company with its own platform so I was receiving messages from Air BnB as well as Host and Stay. They did not always contain the information, for example the exact location was never disclosed on Air BnB, just the postcode which pointed to the house 2 doors down. The location message came from Host and Stay. I found it confusing to toggle between them to find what I needed to know at any given moment. I made the mistake of sending a message regarding the water temperature only to the number listed on Host and Stay and did not receive a reply- I later received very quick replies on Air BnB. I guess if you have a problem message via both platforms.

Lovely place to stay, responsive host. The internet didn’t work whilst we were there and I had to reset the internet myself. The owner did get in touch and order some wires to fix the issue but we were nearly finished with the trip before it was fixed. The main bedroom on the ground floor had an extremely uncomfortable bed in which we could t sleep on. Apart from those issues the place was great!

This property in Beal, Northumberland, had too many problems to list. The property was simply not maintained. There were broken curtain rails in the bedroom, rendering them useless and being downstairs gave us problems with privacy. Wash basin, bath and shower drains did not work effectively, leaving you stood in dirty water whilst showering. The WiFi did not work due to the socket hanging off the wall and a cable missing. Pots and cooking facilities in the kitchen were left dirty. There was no toilet roll in 2 of the 3 bathrooms and no hand soap or bathing soaps either. The TV didn't work as it also operated via WiFi. The upstairs bathroom shower rail fell off the wall as fixings were missing. Manhole covers were off the manhole in the bank garden when we arrived with blue rubber gloves strewn all around the garden. (Very strange, looked like a murder scene). I could go on but you get the picture!!!

Very comfortable space a short distance from the Holy Island. The hosts responded to our queries very efficiently and self-check in was easy. People travelling with kids might find it helpful to know that the 10am check out is a hard one (no flexibility- we asked) which doesn’t leave too much time for settling in with the 4pm check-in if you’re just staying one night- in retrospect I wish we had planned for two nights for a more relaxed stay.

The location was perfect for our family holiday as we had family staying on Holy Island. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with quality fixtures and fittings. There is, however, an issue with the location link on the website as it takes you to The Coach House in Lowick which is 6 miles from Beal, is a completely different building as is listed as 'permanently closed'. I only found this out when the final details were sent out a week before we were about to go. I contacted Air BnB and the first person I spoke to didn't have local knowledge and didn't understand the problem. The second person I contacted, however, was aware of this mistake and sent me accurate details and also did what I asked for to have contact with the owners. The call centre is in the Phillipines apparently. The housekeeper, Jean, who just lives a few miles away, contacted me and was extremely helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend this venue as a perfect base to access local attractions.

lovely place, BUT no TV all weekend wasn't tuned, 6 adults couldn't sort it, broken extractor fan, cooking full breakfast we had to have all windows opened, stained sofa, not nice to relax on, twin room decorative cushions stained, kitchen cupboards some dirty. Both baths running, lack of hot water. very underwhelmed!!! Have made a complaint

Spacious, clean and tidy, well equipped kitchen, excellent bathrooms, comfy beds, and very efficient central heating. Beautifully placed for Lindisfarne with a handy local shop, cafe (when it opens!)! and petrol station 100 yds away. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is superb for exploring Northumbria and the property is very spacious inside with all the amenities you would need. Then property just needs a bit of attention to bring it up to a high standard and the cleaning could also be better. Some of the issues we raised during our stay (broken garden furniture) was sorted very quickly with a brand new replacement arriving within 48 hours. Overall the property is good value but could be even better with a bit of TLC.

The location was ideal, especially for exploring Northumberland and it is a good space. I do feel that there are teething issues. I wasn't happy to receive an email after booking insisting I pay an extra fee for damage protection. This is included in the listing buried towards the end but this didn't detail how much this fee would be. If this is going to be the case then more transparency is needed as the cancellation policy doesn't allow a full refund after booking. The house was clean enough but there were stains on some of the bedding and towels and hair on the pillowcases. I contacted them & they sent someone to change them. Sofas had some stains along with some of the cushions. The listing mentions 'luxury' but this didn't feel like luxury. A bit more investment in the linens and pillows goes a long way. The amenities list has cooking basics like oil, salt and pepper but there was no oil and the salt grinder was old & empty. All in all, small details but they make a difference.

We enjoyed our stay - stunning views and incredibly close to Holy Island and a lovely cafe (with sheep!) on the way. The house is super spacious, with a fully kitted out kitchen and utility room so that we could spend a good 2 weeks there. The house is tucked away and the back yard doesn't have any onlookers so it felt lovely and private. Definitely a great place to stay if you're a tourist in the area!
