Great location and great house as well. Very neat and all necessary house items provided. Bed was superb.
The upstairs apartment wasn't occupied during my stay, so I can't comment about noise from walking about in the upstairs apartment.

The location was great, and the place was lovely and clean, a little shabby in places the paint work peeling but i'm guessing age related. Kitchen well equipped. nice space. Didn't realise you could take dogs so may take the furry friend next time she would love it on the beach.
The frying pan was not really useable, we actually bought one to use, No wardrobe space, we had the coats hung up as were a bit bulky maybe some coat hooks and boot rack in the hall then it would work the wardrobe space. Although an actual wardrobe would be a better option. also the Blinds don't really work in the bedroom as the light is outside feels like daytime all night. Black out blinds would be good. Mirror too high in bedroom. wouldn't say i don't like the place though would stay again.

Great location for the beach , dog walking and sunsets and sun rise. The front door lock to the flat is sticking so I would suggest a repair but the place had everything you will need .

The log burner was fab but no equipment poker or gloves. The property was central and good for bars and restaurants.
The property smelt of damp and wet dog. There were signs of damp. The makeover was of good spec but the underlying foundations were poor. The bathroom from the bedroom u had to walk through loung and kitchen

Location, ease of parking.
Street light right outside bedroom and no blackout blinds, no mirror in bathroom - the picture of Saltburn pier needs replacing with a mirror. Several others have noted this over time, according to the visitors' book. Also evidence of damp to kitchen and bathroom walls, along with musty odour.

No criticism but would suggest a bathroom mirror would be handy.
Will be repeat booking the same house when we eventually return to Saltburn.

A short walk into town or down to the sea
Hard bed, building work next door from 8am,no hooks anywhere to hang coats, very noisy neighbours in the flat above on our last night and no hairdryer which is listed- makes it difficult to get ready to get out if you don't want to go with wet hair. Was promised the first day one would be got to me for the rest of the stay but never got it - even after contacting the hosts twice. A nice dressing table but no stool to use it and street light right outside bedroom window with only blinds that don't block the light- some of the issues have been mentioned by lots of previous guests but obviously nobody takes any notice- you can tell it's run by a company and not the owner

Lovely little place for us & the dogs .
The above apartment being vacated at 5:30am on the Sunday morning. Not the hosts fault , but just to be aware.
A few paint touch ups required and weeding in the yard.

The apartment is fantastic 👌 I could live there. it's well equipped and decorated to a high standard! but because of the host management, I won't be staying again, which is a shame because we really did like the apartment
too many messages from the host!
Once it's booked, it's booked I don't need to hear from you every other day!
And I've never before been asked to pay a damage deposit before I stay, threatening to cancel my stay if i dont pay is unacceptable!
You have my card details. Why do I need to stump up an extra £250 deposit before I even get there! This wasn't made clear when booking, and some people on a budget may not have a spare £250 to just give to you!

The apartment has the basics for a short stay. The bed was very hard & uncomfortable we hardly slept the first night so went out & bought a mattress topper which helped. The bedroom is so bright at night with a street lamp right outside shining in & the blinds aren’t any use at all long office type blinds that let in all the light. Blinds need to be shut all day for privacy as people can see straight in from the street. Sofa was also rock hard not comfortable at all. Floor tiles broken in the bathroom we had to cover the broken floor with a towel as the tiles were sharpe under foot. This wasn’t somewhere we’d stay again. Location to beach wonderful & great little local shops for anything you need, all 2 mins away. The beach is beautiful & local people are so kind,

Very nice 1 bed flat and very close to beach and pier.
Tastefully decorated and modern. Kitchen has all the essentials: pots and pans and utensils, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, tea bags, sugar, salt, nespresso pods and Krups Nesporesso machine + many ringed Gas stove and oven. Living room with nice sofa, dining table and TV. Good bed and pillows — warm fluffy rug in bedroom.
Main issues were:
Got cold at evenings/night, even with heater on maximum and flat being double glazed (Apr, but outside temp in evenings and at night was 2degC). The floor of the kitchen and bathroom were ice cold and I didn't have slippers! The max temperature of the thermostat was 21.5degsC, yet still too cold
Have to give a big deposit, with punitive £10 charge you don't get back — or pay £15 for a waiver with £500 excess: I do not expect this hidden extra charge from booking.com nor have to worry about this before arriving. Once booked I don't expect to get emails and text messages saying I have to pay extra or my booking will be cancelled!!
Despite these charges, there were overall small decorative issues. More seriously, were the broken floor tiles in the bathroom at the entrance, which should have been fixed immediately as they are potentially dangerous.
Other small annoyances:
*TV has no smart features so can't watch Netflix/Disney/PrimeVideo etc..
*Double bed is in fact two single beds mattressed with seam in middle!
*small gap in blinds so even when closed — in principle — people can see into bedroom and onto bed from street!
*Too many cushions on bed!
*All the pots and pans are non-stick, yet the utensils provided are all metal!
*no recycling or food waste bins

Lovely cosy apartment in great location, easy to walk to bars and restaurants as well as the beach, perfect! Parking right outside the door was an added bonus. Only slight criticism would be the bathroom tiles which need repairing, but I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying again!

it’s location in Saltburn, it’s a ground floor flat and that it’s dog friendly.
Tea and coffee left for guests use, likewise salt & pepper.
There’s no curtains in the bedroom and vertical blinds do not keep out the light sufficiently (and there’s a immediately street lamp outside). Why are there five cushions in the bedroom?
No coffee table in the sitting room so nowhere to place your drinks, papers or books etc, though there are six cushions!
The floors tiles in the entrance into the bathroom have now substantial cracks and a dip in the flooring that is a safety hazard I can’t believe hasn’t been sorted yet. (We’ve stayed here before).

Second stay in this appartment- really nice place, excellent location! Hosts were very quick to respond to any queires. However, the process of securing the booking by paying an extra fee to a third-party company (which I didn't have to do for my last stay here) was very complicated and did not go smoothly. Would have been better had they used airbnb's own cover.

it was close to the amenities and clean and comfortable. it was fairly well equipped.
it was warm and the shower and bathroom excellent.
it didn’t feel secure as it was a shared outer door and this wasn’t always locked by the upstairs tenants. Door into our flat only had a very basic lock. one key for two people not enough. We didn’t always want to go out together.
there was nowhere to hang outdoor/wet coats .Storage in the bedroom was totally inadequate for two people staying 8 days in the late Autumn. nowhere in the bathroom to hang clothes whilst having a shower.. There was no alarm in the kitchen. The one on the ceiling had been dismantled.
the cooking range was huge for two people. Half the space would have been better utilised housing a dishwasher or washing machine.
some basic items missing such as an oven cloth and extra tea towels ( one was insufficient for 8 days) some sort of clothes airer is needed to dry small amounts of washing.

Excellent location , quiet road , on street parking , shops, restaurants, cafe's nearby
Comfortable flat , nicely decorated , nice back yard.

Cracked tiles , bathroom floor, bath plug was broken

Pros: A spotlessly clean large sized flat with a comfortable bed and sofa, powerful shower in a massive bathroom and decent sized kitchen with big cooker. Dog friendly, which is a big plus. Perfect location.
Cons: Need deadlock on flat door not front door. Feels like it would take too long to get out in the event of a fire.
No proper wardrobe or chest of drawers so minimal space for clothes.
You have blinds (which offer little privacy or blackout) when you need curtains in bedroom.
There is a streetlight outside which acts as a dual bedside light. No blinds or anything at all in kitchen or bathroom area where you would expect something. Floor tile cracked in bathroom.
Nowhere to hang coats or anything. Maybe the flat is really designed for nudists?
Too many emails & reminders on daily basis from Host & Stay. Deposit requirement off putting, didn't realise until booked.

lovely modern, clean apartment. location great and dog friendly.
Unfortunately the shower door shattered before we got there, so was out of use and the heating - didn’t manage to work out how to set it. Owner was very apologetic re the shower, and arranged for repair whilst we were there . Felt intrusive and inconvenient so cut our stay to one night from two.

Did not appreciate being badgered for identification and asked for sensitive information after having paid in full for the holiday. Also water came through the ceiling of the kitchen on one night of our stay ,the couple above said they had reported it to you with no response. They had a small child with them who they were unable to bathe .

The location as it was in close proximity to both the town and the beach. There were plenty of good eating places close by too.
Nearby towns were easily accessed.
it was also quiet so we were not disturbed by traffic noise or from neighbours meaning we slept reasonably well.
The bed was comfortable and cozy.
Although a residential street we were always able to find a parking spot close by the property.
Lovely thick towels.
Minor issues-
No access to the outside of the backyard, as the gate was padlocked, which meant we couldn’t access the bins.
The backyard was a very small area and concreted so dull and grey.
No coffee table, making it less comfortable, as nowhere to put drinks whilst watching television.
Only one coat hanger between us to hang our clothes on and no drawers so we had to work from our suitcases.
The shower unit allowed water to land on the bathroom floor so we had to dry it after showering.
As there is a street lift outside the property it meant the bedroom was quite light even during the night.

Excellent location very quiet, close to the beach and promenade, shops, bars and restaurants, the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, we enjoyed a very nice long weekend, our little dog loved it, it is a great place to take your dog lots of nice walks and most places let you take your dog inside.
Saltburn it is lovely, lovely walks along the beach, there is enough to do without being overbearing, the sunset is amazing to watch, will definitely be back
Could do with curtains in the bedroom too bright there is a street light right outside so always bright, needs a little general maintenance, replacing bulbs, shower door not in properly, squeaky living room door, main entrance door.
The patio area could with some extra touches it doesn't get much sun so could do with being a little more inviting

The Location so close to the beach (beware there is alot of steps down to the actual beach!).

I think the place is great. It just neds a few slight updates. Privacy window/curtains in living room, moss to be cleaned in garden and mould and mildew in bathroom. I know I being rather picky, but it such a great place those things just let it down. I would definitely stay again

Had a short break here from Thursday to Sunday, Saltburn is a great base for exploring this coast.
The accommodation is very close to shops and bars on a very quiet street with ample free parking.
Easy access to property as keys in box.
Once inside nice layout, could do with a blackout curtain to calm the light from the street light outside the bedroom but didn't bother us that much as we were tired.
The lounge area was comfortable but once again curtain badly needed to cover patio doors at back as property overlooked and with lights on leaves one open to being exposed on mid night visits to the loo if not covered up and forgetful like me.
Kitchen was well equipped and bathroom comfortable.
All things considered this is a lovely apartment and nicely furnished, the curtain requirements are a minor issue.
Would recommend a stay here and we really enjoyed our time.
Our dog Thea was also really chilled out here as well......thanks.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find, parking on the street was straight forward and the location was excellent. It's 2 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from the shops.
The apartment was super clean and had excellent facilities.
The blinds in the bedroom were an issue as they didn't fully cover the window and they offered no filter from the street light or daylight.

Lovely clean flat with outside area, ideal if you have a dog. Take a dressing gown with you as you have to walk past a window with no curtains on the way back from the bathroom to the bedroom. If you like your bedroom really dark to sleep, take an eye mask as it’s quite bright. Also the coffee machine advertised doesn’t have the correct pods for it so don’t expect a coffee when you arrive! All in all a great place to stay in a fab location.
