We had a wonderful stay at Heather Cottage. Beautiful surroundings and a cosy cottage. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and large dog. Lovely outdoor space to let the dog run off some energy. We didn't do much cooking but the facilities were great. It was exceptionally clean. There were basic things like tea, coffee and milk sachets provided as well as cleaning cloths and dishwasher tablets. It was beautifully furnished and the smart TV was a nice touch to watch movies in the evening. I think adding a selection of family games would be a nice addition but that's my only suggestion. Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay here, cosy home close to a local pub and some nice walks. Really lovely decor, would definitely recommend!

Beautiful friendly village with a very welcoming pub just a few doors away. Lovely little area outside to enjoy and the enclosed communal grassed area was great for letting the dogs have a runabout. Cottage was lovely and clean and had everything we needed.

A nice area but had no phone signal at all and to make matters worse there was no internet at all which is very important because having no phone signal meant we were reliant on having WiFi. We were only informed on arrival that the internet was down which was very very inconvenient as the tv ran off the internet as well so sat in the cottage twiddling our thumbs as the pub next door shut its doors at 6pm We wouldn’t stay there again because there’s nothing to do unless you like long walks.

Great little cottage for our family of five. Such a cute village and great pub very close by. Beautiful countryside right on the doorstep. Lovely cafes too for us to try. Just a shame that there was a problem with the internet for the entirety of our stay. This would normally not have been an issue for us but with no phone signal, no internet signal and no television it felt a bit impractical and I’m glad we weren’t there for longer - due to this issue.

Fantastic location just off the main street through the picturesque village. Ample parking and lots of (shared) outside space. There is a good pub (serving food) a stone’s throw from the cottage and a couple of tea-rooms open for breakfasts, lunches etc.. Nearest shop/supermarket is 7 minutes by car. This was a new listing and only downside was a couple of key items that were shown on inventory were not to be found in the cottage (corkscrew and hairdryer). We were told this was an oversight and the items were on order. Other than that, a perfect stay and highly recommended.

Beautiful location, lovely decor in bedrooms and living area, beds really comfy. Kitchen and bathroom unfortunately need more attention - cooker not clean and had a dirty baking tray in it which was worrying as the first people to use the place. Sleeps 6 but lacks equipment to cater fully in the kitchen. Extremely dusty skirting. Also, could not find a hairdryer. Cleaning equipment or kitchen spray as a minimum would have been useful especially for longer stays.
